Why every GOOD muslim knows that Islam DOES say jihad and such is part of islam. Its the main part.

Qur’an:9:29 “Fight those who do not believe until they all surrender, paying the protective tax in submission.”

Qur’an:8:39 “Fight them until all opposition ends and all submit to Allah.”

Qur’an:8:39 “So fight them until there is no more Fitnah (disbelief [non-Muslims]) and all submit to the religion of Allah alone (in the whole world).”

Ishaq:324 “He said, ‘Fight them so that there is no more rebellion, and religion, all of it, is for Allah only. Allah must have no rivals.’”

I wonder if anyone in his mosque is standing up for him. I wonder if he feels betrayed by his "brothers & sisters in Islam". I hope he doesn't regret speaking out and I hope he doesn't recant.

Can someone please help me out? I have never posted at LGF -- for the simple reason that every time I try to register a nickname there in order to be enabled to post, I get this message:

"LGF registration is temporarily closed. Please try again later."

I've gotten this message dozens of times over the past Fing 18 months. It seems that LGF is "temporarily" closed for-Fing-ever.

Mr. Miftah was told he could not return to his mosque, the Islamic Center at Tulsa, until he apologized for criticizing Muslims "in front of" non-Muslims: in the Tulsa newspaper.

"Takfeer", condemning a fellow Muslim as a heretic, is a crime unless pronounced by a senior cleric. Commentary on "takfeer" and the incident at Western Resistance:

remote_control - Re. LGF: Keep your eyes peeled. Registration opens up at various times. If I'm remembering correctly, I think Charles said in a post once that registration is more often open on weekend mornings. I was able to register one evening.

Thanks Josephine.

Hi Remote,
I just noticed Josephine has answered already.

I just succeeded a couple of days ago. I have been trying since the cartoon fiasco!
I suppose my being downunder didn't help: time differences etc.

Patience pays off I guess!Good luck!

So much for moderation. Looks like yet another mosque has been taken over by those minority extremists.

Posted by: ISLAMSFORLOSERS [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 27, 2006 8:13 PM

LGF Registration= Early Sunday morning US Pacific
Coast time. Of course you know that this will now change because of my big mouth, so hurry.
There is a tiny minority of extremist muslims attempting to stem the flow of jihadism. They have no chance alone.

C'mon;

The blond anchorette thinks he was kicked out of a church.

While I'd like to applaud his efforts, Jamal didn't provide any proof that Islam is a 'peaceful religion';and Omar, the handsome, clueless reporter, didn't ask him to.

The 'real' Muslims down at the mosque are right. It's dwonright un-Islamic to badmouth ROP behavior in front of non-believers (lest they discover the truth). That one kinda went by Omar, too (probably a member of the 'church').

And the Islamobouncers will allow him to return if he apologizes (For being loud in a prayer room? For claiming that the ROP is a ROP?)

Geez!

Posted by: PRCS [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 27, 2006 10:12 PM

He was threatened by several members. He protested, and then was told by the management of the mosque that he cannot return until he has apologize apologize for what? he told the truths that he islam cannot stand the light of day for fear that infidels might discover the truth. The Catholic Church in some ways it's still like that i.e. the scandal over the priests molesting kids. But it will take criticism of the Christian faith, and we do not see riots in Italy and other heavily Catholic nations when cartoons sacrilegious or printed by the newspaper yet we did see riotsand killings of Christian nuns in the Islamic countries but over the cartoons in Denmark. The fact non-Muslim can be killed or criticizing Muhammad or Islam is just plain wrong and to see a Muslim in USA criticized his faith been thrown out of his mosque and threatened by mosque members I feel shows how intolerant Islam is. if anyreligion cannot learn from past and grow and eventually like the Greek gods on Mount Olympus will die out. In a lot of ways the West needs to rediscover its Christian roots and lead political correctness behind, and Muslim immigrants to the ueu and America and other countries me to integrate themselves better with their host countries and not demand as a done in Muslim countries in the conquered population in the one summer in the language and customs of the innvaders. An example of this in modern times is the complaints of Turksin Germany that they cannot take tests in Turkish my comment is the Turks are not invaders but immigrants and have responsibility to learn a language customs accepted behavior of the host country is not seven century Arabia and Islam needs to grow up.

Posted by: islamakapigeaters [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 27, 2006 10:44 PM

If any of you still believe that islam is a peaceful ideology, Pay attention, we will be fighting this gang soon, very soon. What some don’t understand is they believe they have a mandate on paradise. It does not matter that it is BS they believe it and that’s enough to make them extremely dangerous to us.

The man has guts. I hope he keeps 'em.

Posted by: gordo [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 27, 2006 11:22 PM

Maybe he'll consider converting to Christianity. I've never heard of anyone at my church getting kicked out for saying the sermon sucked or the choir was off key...

Totally out of context but I stumbled on this at LGF

Bruce Bawer has an article in the New York Sun on ASCAP’s Songwriter of the Year, the singer formerly known as Cat Stevens, now known as Yusuf “Death to Salman Rushdie” Islam: Sending a Grim Message.

http://www.ascap.com/press/2006/101106_prs.html

Yusuf Islam was named Songwriter of the Year for the second consecutive year and was recognized for his enduring classic “First Cut Is The Deepest.” Formerly known as Cat Stevens, he w as one of the most successful and enigmatic artists of the 1970s, with a string of best selling albums, which virtually defined the concept of the sensitive songwriter. His reflective and often highly personal songs connected with a huge audience and made him an international superstar.

Yusuf Islam is soon to release a Rick Nowels-produced album of new songs, his first in almost 30 years. The release will coincide with the 40 th anniversary of the first Cat Stevens record, I Love My Dog (Deram November 1966).

Jamal Miftah: taquiyyist or subliterate fool? It could be that he cannot understand the plain language in the Koran, Hadiths, and Sirat.

Or, it could be that his ejection from the mosque was faked so as to build his stature as a Moderate Moslem with mainstream Infidels down there in Cowboy Arabia, a once great state that has sunk every bit as low as southeastern Michigan and northern Virginia.

Motoko, Robert dealt with the conference on fgm on Dhimmi Watch today. Even a two-digit could have seen that.

Posted by: Nick Danger [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 1:34 AM

Matoko, I meant. Or should I say "shams" the name you use on Eteraz ... more fitting?

I'd like to go on but like any good sycophant, my tongue cannot speak but only flatter...

Posted by: Nick Danger [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 1:44 AM

OT, but fitting in every sense of the word.

No, Robert, I'm more a Teenage Prayer (Complete Basement Tapes) but I aspire to be a Wicked Messenger someday. Until then, I must be flushing out my house since I don't want to go around housing flushes... you know how it is.

and yes, shams is my muslim name...im a convert. ;)
wass it to u?

Posted by: matoko kusanagi [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 7:59 AM

a recent convert..ekshually, roobart's clueless diatribes and clumsy attempts at quranic exegesis is one thing that persuaded me to....revert. i was an atheist before. ;)

Posted by: matoko kusanagi [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 8:06 AM

Whoa, Shams, if Robert were here (and not there) --and heck with Qur'anic exegesis, Robert, decipher the lyric to that song please-- he'd give you a clue. The adhominem attacks won't do, Shams, how about ONE example, in great detail, of Robert being clumsy or clueless? For all of us to see. The idea that Robert Spencer drove you to Islam is on par with Hamid Mir's claim that Robert was driving him to jihad and terrorism. I'm smirking, Shams, and it's too early for me to be smirking, it's cold and it hurts my face.

Posted by: Nick Danger [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 11:15 AM

Shams, before you astound everyone with your theological acumen, would you care to respond to some simple questions posed by Cardinal George Pell, Archbishop of Sydney, for Muslim's wishing dialogue?

1. Do you believe that the peaceful suras of the Qur'an are abrogated by the Verse of the Sword?

2. Is the program of military expansion (that reached Spain and India) to be resumed when possible?

3. Do you believe democratic majorities of Muslims in Europe would impose Shari'a law?

Well, I've never been to Heaven,
But I’ve been to Oklahoma.
Oh, they tell me I was born there,
But I really don't remember.
In Oklahoma,
Born in a coma,
But does it matter?
Really, does it matter?
Hoyt Axton – I’ve Never Been to Spain Posted by: A_Plague_on_Both_Houses [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 1:43 PM

Nick, i said Spencer wuz instrumental...not causal.
I got kicked out of catholic school for the same reason i dislike spencers diatribes...i dont like people telling me what to think.
u do. okfine.

i can read for myself. what happened to Leopold Weiss and Michael Sells happened to me...i was converted intellectually.

why do u assume i wish dialogue?
i will answer #3.
Shariah will be voted in for any democratic govt in MENA. Like Turkey, like Iraq, the people will vote it as part of the constitution.
thats the facts, jack.

Posted by: matoko kusanagi [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 2:07 PM

Shams, you don't chose to answer #1 and #2
for rather obvious reasons. Nor do you respond to the challenge to prove your assertions about Robert Spencer.

Someone who doesn't want people telling them what to think ought not join a religion that means "submission", nicht war?

Posted by: Nick Danger [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 2:51 PM

"choose", I meant to type. My English is getting as bad as yours.

Posted by: Nick Danger [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 2:52 PM

"I got kicked out of catholic school for the same reason i dislike spencers diatribes...i dont like people telling me what to think."
-- from a posting above by a recent convert to Islam, "matoko"

But Islam is all about yours-not-to-reason-why. It possesses an elaborate Halal-Haram system: what you are commanded to do, what you are forbidden to do. Yours not to reason why. So the "Muslim scholars" say -- no, you must not have a hairdo in the shape of a camel's hump yes you can and indeed must perform the wudu ablutions in such and such a manner, yes you must use this means of wiping yourself, and so on and on. Astounding. And yours never to ask why, and certainly not to question the morality of the very basis of Islam, which is the submission to Allah, whimsical Allah, at times impossible-to-understand Allah, no matter what. Even if he counsels hatred, as he does, toward all Infidels, one is not to question, one is not to exercise free will, one is to accept becaues Allah Ta'ala.

And yet this convert claims she turned to Islam, the most totalitarian of those belief-systems that are called religion, because she does not like being told what to do.

One stands astonied.

Posted by: Hugh [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 4:33 PM

Hugh, the logic is amazing, isn't it?
Anything to get back at those Catholics...

Shams,
Leopold Weiss (Muhammad Asad) a famous Jewish convert to Islam whose legacy was his influence on Sayyid Qutb and the fundamentalists in Pakistan. Which Asad do you identify with, Shams, the young Asad of "Islam at the Crossroads", hater of the West, or the later, disillusioned Asad (who settled in New York!) who said in 1981 "if I would come into contact with Arabs today for the first time I would no longer be attracted by them"?

Also, I was not expecting dialogue with you. I've yet to meet a Muslim who was serious about dialogue. You are, however, being given an opportunity to humiliate everyone here by backing up your insulting accusations of Mr. Spencer and this website. I'm saying you are not up to the challenge, pilgrim (affecting a John Waynish growl)... Try not to slam the door as you leave. I hate loud noises.

Posted by: Nick Danger [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 5:10 PM

For more on what prompted Leopold Weiss (always trotted out, along with a certain crazed Frenchman, by Muslims eager to show how many wonderful and important Westerners have converted to Islam -- and then the same half-dozen cranks and loonies are trotted out -- Weiss, the Frenchman Bucaille, and so on -- while the hundreds of millions or billions who did not convert are overlooked.

It's always the same stuff. The half-dozen converts. The "social justice" of Islam because rich man and poor man prostrate themselves in the mosque side-by-side. The surpassing poetry, supposedly, of the Qur'an which few can understand but all must ooh-and-aah over, and thereby declare that "only the Word of God could be so beautiful."

For those already thinking at that primitive level, anything on offer will do. They happen to have chosen Islam. It was time for that, on their Spiritual Search. But if you stop the bus and get off at the arret marked "Islam," you are seldom allowed to get back on that bus, to make a journey a little further on, by some kindly guiding light.

No, you're stuck in the desert with Islam. And don't think of hitchhiking home.

Posted by: Hugh [TypeKey Profile Page] at November 28, 2006 5:54 PM

"One stands astonied."

And many have been stood (misunderstood up to their necks) and stoned.
