Of course, if one is attacked, any military response might be counterproductive. That is in this world where peace is war and war is peace.

Dialogue is always the best way forward. We have seen this in Israel (which has finally achieved a ceasefire with some of the Arabs in Gaza) and we will see how it is best in dealing with Iran and Syria as it has proven to be so successful in dealing with North Korea.

Neville Chamberlain found it to be true also. He held a piece of paper from whom he termed "Herr Hitler" which could serve only one purpose (the same as do the pages of the koran).

Yes, "peace in our time" is again the order of the day. We can all sleep soundly knowing that the peacemakers are at work in Washington (in Brussels we can expect nothing less, of course).

The best way to deal with Islamic aggression is to start jawboning with the aggressors. Talk some sense into them, don't you know? They're all just moms and pops just like us, aren't they? Yep. Sure are.

The aviation industry in Nigeria have been denying the fact that some of the air crashes in recent times in Nigeria must have been terrorism-related, until they caught a young man about last week trying to check-in explosives into another plane. He'll not board the plane but will pay and check some goods.
All over the place, the threat is there.
I hope that substantial help is given to Ethiopia.

Lets face the facts here. During WW2 the gateway to Europe was seen as North Africa by many. It is obvious the Islamists are firing some of thier first global salvos here. The west does not care about Darfur, Chad, Somalia, now Ethiopia ... because they are all black. Arab fighters from all over the Middle East are flowing into Eastern Africa to join the Jihad, and are picking off one communinty after another. Commiting genocide, and mass rape, ethnic cleansing, while western Democracies sit here and watch the murder unfold pontificating solutions the Jihad is slowly moving further south, and further west. This is a primer my friends for what will go down in Europe next. Sad to say it but we are killing ourselves with ignorance. I've tried to educate people, mostly liberals, but they seem more against Bush than facing the real issues. I show them these websites, and articles and have been doing it for years. I am met with apathy, denial and self loathing. I personally don't know what it is going to take to get the west to wake up and preserve itself for what happens in Africa will soon be visting our shores. The State Department almost has George W. convinced that he needs to sit at the table and negotiate with Iran and Syria.

It's unfortunate that Ethiopia has the recent past that it has----very little sympathy for it in the west (the government not the people). What is the current government of Ethiopia like now? There is a large Muslim population in Ethiopia itself. The Christians are largely concentrated in the Amharic & Tigrinya speaking highlands. What about the Oromo folk--Muslims?

The dhimmis in the oil companies, the administration and state department, should pull our troops out of Iraq and send them to defend Ethiopia, and then occupy the oil lands of Sudan and Nigeria.. that would solve a lot of problems.

Sans "ethnic" cleansing there is no solution, for the muslim/arab will never, never, ever rest not so long as their is a kaffir neighbor..no different than Genghis Khan or even the Roman Empire..so long as their was a member who was not incorporated into the Empire, there was a threat.

Religion and "ethics" aside, there is no problem with neutralizing a threat with pre emptive action, but only if you can be 100% assured of success. Bush didn't have that when he invaded Iraq, only disinfo, misinfo and ideological morons who cooked the intelligence to fit their preconceived notions.

This is the same problem we face with Iran..any hostile act against Iran will result in suicide attacks against America, Israel and the West, attacks that can't be stopped, not even with a KGB/Gestopo like police state. Muslims love death..and we love life.. the will or desire to die in the sake of a cause, is more potent than any technology or firepower any nation may have.
And the ONLY recourse, the only really effective countermeasure, the only real route to victory is to give the Muslims the Khaybar/Banu Qurayza treatment, and then forbid the practice of their religion after annhilating all Imams and Islamic scholars.

I don't think the world, much less the west is up to such drastic measures, especially since Islamic countries are such an important market for our export goods and a source of our addiction (black crack). Look how Saudi Arabia has bailed out Boeing, McDonnell Douglass, Raytheon, FMC etc with their purchases of military hardware and civilian airliners..Pampers makes a fortune selling diapers to KSA and the mid east. Even hard core "Christian" companies depend on trade with Islamic countries.

And by the way, this Darfur situation. The land is called Dar Fur (or land of the Fur), the inhabitants of Darfur are muslim,,black (really black Muslims), and the Sudanese (who are an Arab Negroid Mixture themselves) do not consider the blacks (even though they be muslim) to be human..only fit to be slaves.

Quite a paradox, considering that Arab itself and the Arabs are a consequence of interracial breeding between Abyssinians and Nubians (Sudan) and caucasoid inhabitants of the peninsula.

Arabs won't permit DNA tests or the publishing of any tests, just as Egypt will not permit DNA testing of mummies, especially the Pharoahs, afraid of what they will find out...my suspicion is that if the tests were performed, they would discover that Arabs are indeed part negroid, and that the caucasoid contribution migrated to the Peninsula some 3 or 4 thousand years ago, probably originally Hittite.
