Nominations now open for 2006 Dhimmi Awards

Nominations are now open for two awards: the American Dhimmi of the Year 2006 and the Dhimmi Internationale 2006. These should, of course, be those who behaved in the past year in the most pusillanimous, abject, and/or suicidally stupid ways in the face of Islamic jihadist bullying and intimidation, peaceful or violent.

We will also award the American Anti-Dhimmi Prize for 2006, and the Anti-Dhimmi Internationale 2006.

I encourage you to search through the archives here -- on both the Jihad Watch and Dhimmi Watch sides -- and you will find many, many worthy candidates for both honor and dishonor.

Please nominate individuals, not groups or entire nations or secret societies.

Jihad Watch staff and relatives of staff are not eligible for either the Dhimmi or the Anti-Dhimmi prizes.

You can read about last year's winners here.

My vote is George W. Bush. Everything he does is designed to serve his SOWdi masters.

Jimmy Carter in a landslide. Carter should be a charter member of the Dhimmi Hall of Shame.

I'd like to nominate Ex-Pres. Jimmy Dhimmi Carter for his unfailing efforts at failing to understand the true nature of the conflict surrounding the Palestine Authority and Israel.

May the fleas of a thousand hamasi invest your nether regions.

germaninamerica:

As poorly as Bush has performed, I think there are some European politicians who may not wield the power that Bush does, but are infinitely more dhimmified.

My vote goes to the gormless kefiya-wearing Zapatero of Spain, who, if he is still around in twenty years, will defend paying the the jizya to the next generation of Hamas as they pursue their claim on Al-Andaluse.

Dhimmi Carter deserves the LIFETIME DHIMMI AWARD.

Zapatero el Traicionero definitely deserves mention! My Spanish friend curses that bastard every time I talk to him.

But I still stick with Bush as the #1 choice. Not only for the damage he's done. But also consider this:

Zapatero is a KNOWN LEFTIST and the Spanish people had an alternative and they didn't take it. So your vote might as well go to the Spanish voters.

Here in the USA we had Bush vs. Gore and then [noone opposed him in the Primaries] Bush vs. Kerry. That means Bush took up the slot that should have been help by a Patriotic Conservative. Instead we got a Liberal Dhimmi in sheep's clothing.

The perfect Manchurian Candidate = Geroge W. Bush.

LOOK whom he had over at the White House for a Ramada Inn meeting!! Do i need to link up the pics? They were RIGHT on the White House Website!!

And WHO - may I remind you - WHO first coined the phrase islam is a Religion or Peace??!!

THAT WAS GEORGE freaking W. BUSH!!!!

Enough already!! The emperor wears no clothes!!

I don't understand the venom against George Bush. Ask yourselves what Al Gore would have done on Sep 12, 2001, and the foolishness of these rants becomes very apparent. I, too, have been greatly disappointed in Bush's performance, adn the way it stems from a misapprehension of Islam. But he's hardly conceding to our enemies, however in error his policies are. It seems to me that core of a dhimmi is in conceding to Islam's aggression. President Bush may be losing ground to it, but he's not conceding.

Jimmy Carter for Dhummi of the year hands down! He brought us this mess to begin with and now has rewritten history to explain how wonderful he is! (NOT!)
Condi would be international dhummi (misspelled on purpose) for making nice with bigoted killers.

Posted by: scooter [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 10:10 AM

My vote for International Dhimmi goes to well known internationalist and humanitarian Jimmy Carter. He's so well travelled it's hard to think of him as just an American (thank God). Few go the extra mile like Jimmy does for trying to dhimmify Israel.

My vote for American Dhimmi goes to that brilliant writer Karen Armstrong. If she could get hold of Mo's remains she'd try her damndest to be his latest wife. If nothing else, she would sleep with his remains just to be close to that most perfect (in all respects) man.

American Anti Dhimmi award goes to Robert Spencer-his latest book is the latest in his efforst to wake up America and the world to the evils of Islam.

International Anti Dhimmi-Walid Shoebat. Any ex-terrorist who sees the light deserves something good.

We'll never know, would he have stayed and read books to kids, instead of ordering fighters into the sky while America burned? We'll never know.If only Gore had a brother as a governer of a state, that could have fudged up the votes,we could've found out.

Posted by: Patriot8 [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 10:19 AM

Bush may be misguided and may fail to articulate the true nature of this battle, but he does understand what's at stake. He's not a dhimmi in the craven and humiliated sense of the word...

Bush has made many mistakes, but if some don’t remove the Bush from their eyes we are never going to win this thing.

True-had Al Gore successfully stolen the election we would have seen more 9/11's all over the place.
At least Bush did kill a bunch of jihadists. My disgust with him is that he hasn't done enough killing and he keeps pandering to Islamania with his "Islam is peaceful" crap. I'd feel somewhat better about him if he would at least keep away from that bunch and close the borders to the cesspoolians.

Posted by: ISLAMSFORLOSERS [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 10:29 AM

I do agree with chirac for DIA.

But I stick with Bush as American Dhimmi Extraordinaire. He clogged up the VALUABLE conservative slot in the 02 election. He is slave to the lobbyists and the SOWdi money. He is slave to the multinational corporations who see all of us as interchangeable - and ultimately dispensable - "consumers".

How I HATE that term! I am NOT a "consumer" and I don't buy things that are over-advertised. I buy local stuff from small merchants whenever I can.

Back to king George. He pays LIP SERVICE to conservatism. He DUPED us on the border fence!! You know this Congress which GOT ELECTED DHIMMICRAT only because the conservative base felt let down and the Repubs were embroiled in bribery and sex scandals.

THAT is the legacy of King George!

Just when the country cries out for someone to MEND THE FENCES. George starts a AMNESTY bill.

Does anyone doubt he'll work in a "bi-partisan" manner on that one??!!!

Do you remember the thread on JW about the many OTM illegals let go into the mainstream AFTER apprehension by border patrols??!!! THAT is FEDERAL RESPONSABILITY!!!

How much worse could John Kerry or Al Gore have done on that one??!! We wouldn't expect better from them. Bush was SUPPOSED to be the REPUBLICAN - remember??!!!

I nominate Esposito and Armstrong for their tireless work in reducing Islam to a piece of a multicultural "mosaic", for lobotomizing critical thought re the supremacist assertions of Islam, thus making everyone unable to really appreciate its claims to supremacy or see reality on the matter. Because of such "educators" we do not understand the mandate to violence in Islam, Islam's mandate to make the world submit to Sharia law. Instead, they make us see "mosaics". (Because of people like these two we are probably in Iraq since we learn nothing from them re culture.)

Armstrong-Esposito should go to work in an advertisement agency and develop an advertisement campaign for thalidomide under a new name. They might call it Dhimmitude and sell it under the slogan "Take Dhimmiitude-and feel good about Islam. You'll see mosaics everywhere after a dose of Dhimmitude. It's Soma. Dhimmitude is recommended by Armstrong-Esposito-Quackenbush pharmaceuticals and has the Multicultural seal of approval."

"Take a gram and you won't give a damn" as they say in Brave New World. You'll see mosaics.

My vote goes for the git in the UK - BLUNKETT - who, equated fundamental Christianity (those who actually believe the Word of God) with radical Islam. Funny, I don't see biblical Christians blowing themselves up in restaurants.

Lee Hamilton as American Dhimmi for his Commission Work. This started with his work on the 9-11 Commission that ignored any evidence leading to
Saudi Arabia or Pakistan and didn't follow up Sibel Edmonds information sufficiently.

Sibel Edmonds "hijacking of a nation"

Saudi Government Provided Aid to 9/11 Hijackers, Sources Say
By Josh Meyer
The Los Angeles Times

"Saturday 02 August 2003

WASHINGTON - The 27 classified pages of a congressional report about Sept. 11 depict a Saudi government that not only provided significant money and aid to the suicide hijackers but also allowed potentially hundreds of millions of dollars to flow to Al Qaeda and other terrorist groups through suspect charities and other fronts, according to sources familiar with the document.

One U.S. official who has read the classified section said it describes "very direct, very specific links" between Saudi officials, two of the San Diego-based hijackers and other potential co-conspirators "that cannot be passed off as rogue, isolated or coincidental."

Said another official: "It's really damning. What it says is that not only Saudi entities or nationals are implicated in 9/11, but the [Saudi] government" as well."

The LA Times article link above gives the contents of the following blank pages in the 2003 House Senate report on 9-11.

If I could I would nominate the majority of the United States and Europe (Western Civilization) but being restricted to individuals here it is:

I nominate George Bush, Condi Rice, and Tony Blair. They are consistently demonstrating their profound ignorance every time their lips utter the words "Islam is a religion of peace" and in doing so demonstrate that those with the education to get to their positions have failed, and miserably so, to understand that Western Civilization is at risk. All three are living in the political mind set of Neville Chamberlin and we all know where that brought us to in our dealings with Adolf Hitler.

Where is Sir Winston Churchill, Margret Thatcher, FDR, Harry Truman, and Ronald Reagan when they are truly needed. Are there any real men left in any Western government that can speak the truth about the dangers we face?

9. Let bin Laden get away at Tora-Bora.

http://www.topdog08.com/tora_bora/index.html

quote:

"January 04, 2006

This about sums it up

From the Financial Times:

Gary Berntsen, a CIA veteran who headed a paramilitary team called “Jawbreaker” during the Afghan war, said in a book published last week that one of his Arabic-speaking operatives found a radio on a dead al-Qaeda fighter during the Tora Bora battle and heard the terrorist leader repeatedly try to rally his troops.
“After the Spectre [gunship aircraft] cleared the area, Bilal heard a voice he recognised from dozens of tape recordings,” Mr Berntsen wrote, using a pseudonym for an Arab-American former Marine who was part of the CIA team. “It was Osama bin Laden telling his troops to keep fighting.”

Later on the same captured radio, “Bilal” and a second CIA agent, another American of Middle Eastern origin, reported hearing Mr bin Laden apologising for getting his men trapped in the mountains and killed in large numbers by American bombing, Mr Berntsen wrote. The book, titled Jawbreaker, was heavily edited by CIA censors.

Mr Berntsen also wrote that on the recommendation of a former Special Forces officer who was part of his team as a CIA contractor, he made a formal request for 800 US army Rangers to be deployed along the Pakistani border to prevent Mr bin Laden’s escape, a request that was never granted."

10. Made shady deal with Pakistan allowing bin Laden to stay in comfortable hiding for good.

THAT one was so recent it doesn't warrant further proof here.

ON POIN 9. THAT is from the FINANCIAL TIMES!!!! NOT form some nutbag like Michael Moore OK??!! There are thousands of Air Force and CIA personnel who know the deal firsthand.

True-they've been at it longer. But Ellison ditched a legitimate religion and joined the death cult before the US becomes part of the ummah. Besides, he wants to be sworn in on the original Mein Kampf.
That makes him more of a dhimwit than those two, and that's saying a lot considering the outright treason those two enjoy pandering to. Perhaps that dynamic duo should receive a different award for their fine work. We can call it the Quisling.

Scarry would have thrown all, not slick enough to marry a millionairess, unwilling to become slaves, stupid, non-surrendering Americans over the fence.

germaninamerica,
Where was Bush when the first attack on the Trade Centers occurred? WTF is up with NY. Why don’t they take some responsibility for 9-11? If the people of the state will not take the jihadists seriously, what do you think the Pres should do? This is a Katrina attitude, there are no Governors no State Legislators, no Mayors or Public works departments, it is the Pres that must rescue us, yeah that’s it. Help, Help Mr. Bush you and the guvment must come and save us.

And in spite of what bin laden did, I am not sure that hunting down his family w/o any teeny tiny link to terror is a good idea. If you blew up a building would you want me to hunt down the rest of your family, just in case?
The President is, he is not a King nor a Dictator, we have three branches of guvment in the USA, the Pres cant wave a magic wand and solve all our problems alone.

"And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you - ask what you can do for your country.
My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man".

Thank you for further making the point. These are indeed the floks who are and have been in position to do the most damage. The fact that some people on here state that George KNOWS the deal only serves to MAKE HIM EVEN MORE GUILTY of being the #1 DHIMMI-IN-CHIEF.

HE IS THE WINNER in my book!

Anti Dhimmi Of the Year: Mr. Tom Tancredo

Jimmy Carter is in a league all his own, we could just rename the dhimmi award 'the jimmy carter' kinda like the 'cy young'.

Bush deserves recongnition, but not from here. Remember like a quarter of the country thinks he(or the jews) did 9/11.

Posted by: Charles the Hammer [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 11:20 AM

As G.W. Bush is MOST CERTAINLY a two-faced, hypocritical dufus, that does not necessarily mean that he's the biggest dhimmi in town. I agree that there is a degree of dhimmitude to be seen in the man, but there's still SOME percentage of anti-dhimmi still holding out in spite of all the evidence to the contrary.

I think he actually believes that there are "hostile forces" (albeit only a small percentage) within Islam that want to destroy us (because we're the "great satan," you know). I would think that the Dhimmi Award winner would be someone who blames ALL of the violence on the United States, and believes that it can be brought to an end through "negotiations" and "deplomacy."

I'd have to go with Jimmuh Caataah as the biggest American dhimmi and enemy appeaser on the face of the earth, hands down. As internationale award winner, I'd give it to French president Jacques Chirac, who has allowed his country to become a complete Islamic stomping-ground in the course of his presidency. Not only is France completely in a state of anarchy due to this "foreign unrest," but France is also a big enemy of all who wish to forestall Western Civilization's collapse.

Duh... this is a no-brainer:

Dhimmi: US: DHJIMMY CARTER
International:

Anti: US: Charles from Little Green Footballs
International: Mark Steyn

any chance of opening up an Israel category? Sadly sadly sadly, since Olmert was elected, I think we need one.

Jimmy Carter in a landslide. Carter should be a charter member of the Dhimmi Hall of Shame.

Objectionable!

Mr. Spencer, would you please delete Howard’s fine posting here?

President Carter ain’t no Dhimmi. He’s neither subjugated nor humiliated by the Moslems. He's motivated and exhilirated by them; he's in bed with them, in love with them, in cahoots with them, he's working for them.

In other words, like his fellow Navy veteran Sen. John Kerry, he’s a turncoat.

How about a new category: "Most promising NEW Anti-Dhimmi". Nominations:

Wafa Sultan - Her unbelievable "no holds barred" appearance on Al-Jazeera (in Arabic, even) in Feb 2006 was viewed by millions and if you haven't seen it, you must. (search "wafa" on YouTube" for video")

Gregory M. Davis - Producer of film; "Islam: What the West Needs to Know" and author of "Religion of Peace?: Islam's War Against the World" and various interviews have shown his brilliance and bravery to challenge PC views of Islam.

Raymond Ibrahim - Recent appearances on television and radio promoting his upcoming book, "The Al Qaeda Reader"; this Coptic Christian Egyptian Arab doesn't mince his words about the threat of Islam. (book due in April 2007)

Brigette Gabriel Passionate, eloquent, Lebanese Christian; author of "Because They Hate: A Survivor of Islamic Terror Warns America" and guest on interview shows, tells a compelling story of her struggle against Islam.

My nominations:

For Dhimmi of the Year: Main Stream Media

For Anti-Dhimmi of the Year: the courageous, unidentified manager of the Fitness USA gym in Dearborn, MI who told the falsely aggreived Ms. Sultan that - on the contrary - Ms. Sultan was required to respect the inconvenienced patron but that the inconvenienced patron was not required to respect Ms. Sultan's god.

BUT JIMMY CARTER THINKS IT'S ALRIGHT

You just knew that Jimmy Carter was going to butt in here somewhere. Well, our amazing 39th president has spoken up. And just where to you think this apologist for Hugo Chavez, this apologist for dictators, would stand on the issue of turning the operation of these American ports over to an Islamic government? Why, he's for it, of course! Jimmy Carter thinks this is all such a great idea that he's actually praising George W. Bush for the move! There you go. The man who gave away the Panama Canal thinks that virtually handing over these American points is just swell.

Then again, Jimmy Carter has never met a terrorist he didn't like. He's even spoken out in support of Hamas recently. Maybe if the Dubai Ports World deal doesn't go through, he'll recommend that Al-Qaeda bid on the contract. After all, we should give everyone a chance, right?

This is how you know the deal is a bad idea. Jimmy Carter supports it.

European dhimmi's:
Job Cohen - Allround dhimmi and useful idiot. As the mayor of Amsterdam he continued to appease the Muslim minority on a way most Dutch are deeply disturbed about.

Emmanuel Barosso - Chairman of the EU and allround useful idiot. The list of his crimes against European identity is almost to long to list.

European anti-dhimmi:

Geert Wilders - More attention for this guy would bolster his efforts against the Dutch left and muslim radicals.

Jurg Haider - In the past blasted because of his radical right views caused many people to be afraid of him. He bettered his life however to refuse muslim radicals to live in the Austrian province of Karinthië.

International dhimmi:
Pelosi - Primarily an useful idiot. Although the option of hate against Christians is motivating her stupid proposals is never excluded.

Tony Blair - Although today he and his party have second guesses about the multicultural idea, they still don't get it. The damage caused by him is incredible and beyond words.

International anti-dhimmi:
George W. Bush Jr. - Yes, you heard it right. Probably by accident he caused the most damage to Muslims since the Polish defeated the Ottomans in the battle of Vienna. Without him the banner of Hamas would already be in place on top of the White House.

True, but how can the biggest dhimmi in the room have gotten that way by mere accident? An idiot can stumble the country into something that puts us in dire straits in the face of our enemies, but ANYBODY can do that.

A "dhimmi" is someone who is who he is ON PURPOSE. For that reason I give the biggest dhimmi on the face of the earth award to Jimmy (the dhimmi) Carter. Nobody goes out of his way more to harm the freedom-loving people of the Earth than this cretin.

I totally understand the anger and frustration of you who want Bush to get this "award," but your reasoning is clouded by your hatred for the man. Bush is a danger to our country and the world, but he doesn't come close to being the biggest dhimmi. He doesn't come close.

The Islamic goon squad that called "Hamas" has declared George W. Bush to be the "biggest enemy of Islam." The Hamas jackals seem to be upset because Bush has frozen the assets of certain Hamas leaders, this after Hamas claimed responsibility for last week's attacked on a packed bus in Israel.

While George Bush may or not be Islam's greatest enemy, it is a certainty that Islam is perhaps the greatest foreign enemy of the American people. Now I say "foreign enemy" because I absolutely believe that the threat posed to our freedom and economic liberty by the left in general, and the Democratic party in particular, constitutes a greater threat to our future than Hamas or its violent Muslim followers.

As for Bush being Islam's greatest enemy. That's a good thing. The world certainly needs more enemies of Islam ... at least until Islam gets its radical elements under control.

The biggest enemy of Islam (according to some potent terrorist Islamic groups)is certainly no dhimmi.

germaninamerica,
Where was Bush when the first attack on the Trade Centers occurred? WTF is up with NY. Why don’t they take some responsibility for 9-11? If the people of the state will not take the jihadists seriously, what do you think the Pres should do? This is a Katrina attitude, there are no Governors no State Legislators, no Mayors or Public works departments, it is the Pres that must rescue us, yeah that’s it. Help, Help Mr. Bush you and the guvment must come and save us.

What kind of an argument is that? I made my case for his Dhimmi Award with facts. This has NOTHING to do with NY!! I am not a LiEberal who hates Bush for being well.. Bush.. I hate Bush for being a Dhimmi and an obstructionist.

Once again HERE IS a LIST of his misdeeds:

1. Religion of Peace. Busch infamously COINED that phrase.
2. Enemies in the white House. See last November.
3. 16000 Student Visas a year for SOWdis alone. Do I need to post the link once again?
4. Dubai Ports World - not ONLY ONCE! They're trying again!
5. Homeland Security Funds doled out as Pork instead of where the threat is most dire. That does NOT absolve NY officials for their egregious refusal to profile.
6. Failure to stand up in face of provocations such as [f]lying imams incident.
7. Ridiculous rules of Engagement for US Armed Forces in Iraq and Afghanistan.
8. Got bin Laden Family on a plane Sept 12 2001 and FLEW them out of here courtesy of our tax money!
9. Let bin Laden get away at Tora-Bora.
10. Made shady deal with Pakistan allowing bin Laden to stay in comfortable hiding for good.
11. Keeps bullying Israel.
12. FAILING intentionally to leave our borders open for illegals.

Please debate me on the POINTS. I'll knock down the arguments as they come in in a rational manner. Or I will conced if you can convince me. However These are 12 points already and more are likely to come up. I think even ONE of these deserves serious Dhimmi Award consideration.

We need to let go of thinking this guy's a Patriot simply because there are simpletions like Cindy Sheehan [NOW *THERE'S* an OVERLOOKED CANDIDATE!] camping out in front of his house denouncing him. She and her ilk are USEFUL IDIOTAS whose presence makes Bush look like he's doing the right thing. DO NOT BE FOOLED!! Actions speak louder than words.

PS. americaningermany what say YOU??!!

I do agree the 1993 WTC attack deserved more attention - BOTH on a city, state AND FEDERAL level. They were ALL asleep at the wheel. Still are I am sorry to say. And I inted to get out of here because IMHO they will go for NY once again.

Yes, most NYers are peacenik fools but they don't deserve to die for it. However, noone in NYC has any control over the borders. Though if they did they'd probably open them even wider. :-(

Dhimmi was the name applied by the Arab-Muslim conquerors to indigenous non-Muslim populations who surrendered by a treaty (dhimma) to Muslim domination.

Bush will never adhere to Muslim tenets or domination.

You may choose to like him or dislike him. You may call him a warrior or a bumbling dolt.

Anyone who is a Bush-Bot has ZERO chances in my book. Is this guy on Jihadwatch too? There's a Charles the Hammer on here, but that don't mean he's the same guy.

I see the MSM is getting it's usual hits.. interesting because those on the "other side" have the same complaints about the MSM.. that it is right wing.. and in fact that criticism is true, it is also left wing.. and unlike a bird who flaps its wings in unison the MSM flaps its wings alternatively..like a ship tacking into the wind, it shifts it's sails but stays on course.

The problem with the MSM is that they are all owned by corporations, giant ones, who are driven by the profit motive, and whose existence and profitability depends on advertising,, and it is mega corporations that keep these mega corporations afloat.

For instance GE owns NBC, and GE is a major "defense contractor" and has profited immensely from the invasion of Iraq. Westinghouse owns CBS and it is a major defense contractor and also a nuclear contractor... then there is Viacom owned by Sumner Redstonte who has dual citizenship with Israel, and of course Disney who owns ABC is also beholden to Prince Walid bin Talal, as is Rupert Murdoch who owns Fox, Sky News..

But if you log on to some other forums and discussion boards they will tell you that the MSM is owned and controlled by Jews, and then give you a list of names.

Seems to me that it is all a distraction from reality, and that the media is, like all things in America, owned by corporations that are profit driven, whose CEO's and Directors have but one goal, to increase market share, profitability and that shows up in their salaries, perks, stock options..

And by the way, if anyone is considering Ralph Peters.. try to figure him out here is his op ed from yesterdays NY Post

THE difference between the child-killers in the Middle East 2,000 years ago and those today is that Herod's men rode into Bethlehem to preserve a threatened political system, while the terrorists we face in Iraq seek to destroy a government in their god's name.

The Iraq Study Group doesn't get it.

Today's butchers are far more merciless, indiscriminate and dangerous. For Herod's henchmen, killing was a job. For today's faith-fueled fanatics, slaughtering the innocents is doing Allah's will. Our modern magis' negotiations won't fix Iraq, no matter what gifts they bring.

Former Secretary of State James Baker and his panelists are trying to shore up the failing regional system that their generation designed. Released yesterday, their report doesn't offer "a new way forward." Its recommendations echo past failures. And it shows no sense of how gravely the world has changed.

The report doesn't offer a plan, but a muddle of truisms and truly bad ideas.

To stay with that Christmas metaphor just a bit longer, the Flight into Egypt has been replaced with the destructive folly of recommending a flight back to Palestine. Of all the many retro proposals scattered throughout the report, the notion that the road to peace in Baghdad runs through the West Bank just may be the worst.

Certainly, the most perverse: By tying Iraq to Palestine, Baker makes the problem immeasurably tougher, not easier. The Palestinian problem isn't the cause of all that's gone wrong, just another symptom. If Iraq can't be fixed without resolving the Palestinian issue, then the answer is that Iraq can't be fixed.

If Dhimmi gets split up into categories, useful idiot as GermaninAmerica implies would be a good one.

As someone else said, Jimmy Carter can be a category.

It might be good to broaden these out like the weblog awards do.

Dhimmi Journalist

Anti Dhimmi Journalist.

Politician, MSM journalist, columnist, movie maker,
book author, TV personality, Radio personality, etc.

Person on the run or in hiding from Jihadis,

like the teacher in France, or the Cartoonists.

The Cartoons were published in 2005 but became known in 2006.

Also a Jihadi category. Fellow Traveler category which could include Ellison or CAIR, etc.

Gordon Brown should get in there somewhere.

Also anti-Dhimmi would include the jury in the BNP Nick Griffin case.

Posted by: Old Atlantic [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 12:48 PM

My nominee is Sean Dhimmity (Hannity) for:
1) continually refusing to see Jihad for what it is
2) avoiding any discussion of what Jihad means because it might imply the world is indeed at war with a religious belief.
AND 3) for being is a postion influential enough for this to pose a grave danger to America's future.

A fish rots from the head. I'm afraid I'll have to agree with my fellow readers who vote for George W. "open-borders","religion of peace" Bush as U.S. Dhimmi of the year. With a big allahu-akbar shoutout for Cousin Bandar Bush.

I do not wish to absolve anyone. I just think that there are more rational alternatives to giving the biggest rat-fink dhimmi award than just to giving it to the political guy who angers and frustrates you the most.

I agree that there ARE reasons to give Bush the award, but you cannot deny that he is recognized by the enemy as THEIR enemy, and that he recognizes an element of Islam as an enemy, although he fails to see that Islam on the whole is the enemy (most people on Earth fail to see this fact).

Bush is a two-faced nit-wit who has done more to damage conservatism with his idiot attempts at "bi-partisanship," and he's listened to a lot of REALLY BAD advice on how to handle the war against us by Islam. He's just not the biggest dhimmi in the room. He might be the biggest DUMMY in the room, but not the biggest dhimmi.

That is a very overlooked act of stand-up courage indeed!
Re. the many votes for Dhimmi Carter. That should be indeed a special category. The CY Young, ie. The Carter Cup. His is a lifetime of Dhimmitude. It cannot be summed up simply in a year.

Posted by: germaninamerica [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 12:52 PM

Here's another good candidate for American Anti-Dhimmi:

Mattis is exactly the man we should have sent in to get Bin Laden:

According to an audio recording of Mattis' remarks, he said, "Actually, it's a lot of fun to fight. You know, it's a hell of a hoot.... It's fun to shoot some people. I'll be right upfront with you, I like brawling."
He added, "You go into Afghanistan, you got guys who slap women around for five years because they didn't wear a veil," Mattis continued. "You know, guys like that ain't got no manhood left anyway. So it's a hell of a lot of fun to shoot them."

I humbly agree. Dhimmi of the Century or Millinium might even be proper. In that case I'll have to re-think who I'd give an award for 'the year' to. I still think that the reaction to Bush is irrational.

I like Debbie Schlussel for American anti-Dhimmi. Intelligent passionate and imo hot. Whats not to like?

Posted by: MP [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 1:02 PM

GIA, l do not back up Bush totally, as l am as well disppointed in many of his attitudes of the border, immigration and spending. but when you look at his alternates on the Democrat aisle that is more scary.
The US and rest of the West needs true leaders, leaning on the right, (which in modern times not that right anyhow) and can communicate and follow by actions for a total destruction of islam. l use to think bringing democracy would lessen the dangers in the middle east, and may still do it, but we are tying our military's hands and not allowing to destroy the likes of sadr in iraq. l am hoping that Guiliani gets the nod from the Republican side, and l vote him for the antiDhimmi award, as he continues today to avoid Saudi money and works for the US.

With all due respect, "clueless" doesn't even begin to describe nominating GW Bush for Dhimmi of The Year. Yes, he's certainly been a disapointment in his inability to name Islam as the true enemy, among other things, but that's a trait shared by everyone in the US Goverment regardless of party affiliation. Amazing how many people even here drink the Conspiracy Theory Kool Aid.

I'm finding it very hard to nominate an individual for Dhimmi of the Year, so many deserving candidates out there. Dhimmi Carter is an obvious choice, but there are many deserving characters. I'm gonna have to think this one over.

Posted by: Proud Infidel [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 1:09 PM

At some point Michael Moore needs to be recognized for his dhimmitude, although it is more of a by-product of his hatred for the United States and anyone who is a Republican than anything to do (so far) with being a submissive little puke for the Islamic horde.

That said, if there ever would be a "Jimmy Carter Lifetime Achievement Award" given to anyone, the first one should go to Dan Rather. He's pretty much right up there with Carter in terms of his kow-towing to tyrants and murderers.

I don't understand why there isn't more support here for Jacques Chirac to get the Dhimmi Internationale Award for 2006. I mean, his country is literally in flames because of these slimy little rat-bastard Islamists, yet he continually identifies the United States and Israel as the enemy to peace.

I can't think of a better universal definer of what it is to be a dhimmi than this guy.

Posted by: yohannbiimu at December 8, 2006 12:43 PM

Give the man a Laval!-it's worse(better?)than a Dhimmi and is named after his countryman. He's easily France's worst politician since Mr. Vichy.

Posted by: ISLAMSFORLOSERS [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 1:13 PM

If I only get one vote, my American Dhimmi vote would go to Condi for her Palestinians living in humiliation comment and Dhimmi Internationale vote would go to Hugo Chavez for his ass kissing of Ahmadinnerjacket.

On the Anti side, for American I would vote Tom Tancredo for his never tiring stand in the face of relentless opposition, and Internationale would have to go to that Straw guy in England for his stand on wearing the veil in his office.

I dunno...she's like Michael Moore in that she just hated America and everything it stands for. She's a 'the-enemy-of-my-enemy-is-my-friend' sort of dhimmi, but she hasn't actually submitted herself to their tyranny (not that I've seen anyway). She's also just a VERY, VERY stupid, manipulated person. I do not think that there is a conscious brain cell in her head.

No, it's got to go to someone who is more willful in their choice towards dhimmitude than this pathetic creature, IMHO.

Posted by: yohannbiimu [TypeKey Profile Page] at December 8, 2006 1:15 PM

Dhimmi Internationale = Hugo Chavez ("Inshallah") (I don't know where the apostrophe goes.)

American Dhimmi = Condi Rice

Anti-Dhimmi Internationale = Jack Straw

American Anti-Dhimmi = Wafa Sultan & Brigitte Gabriel

germaninamerica,
The argument is, how many times must a city be attacked before they get their collective heads out of their arses?
Rebuttal,
1. Heard him say that lately?

2. I’ll take your word for it.

3. What law do we have that prevents this?

4. Is Bush in Congress?

5. Same old same old.

6. The Pres commenting on the imams? Now
that would have made me angry.

7. Agreed.

8. He went there and personally did that, well I suppose I would rather have them out of here than having some hunting them down here, I am not ready to become a Nazi/Communist/Jihadist.

9. He let him? Oh brother.

10. Even though Stalin would become our number 1 enemy it was necessary to work with him to first defeat the bigger threat at the time.

11. I hear lots of people bullying Israel, What exactly has Bush done, I need facts not hearsay.

12. Again, 30 + years and no change.

The saying goes, Givem enough rope to hang themselves. I find your insinuations that they deserve to die, repulsive. I have heard these arguments before, a lot of times from people who have been supposedly abducted by aliens.

My Anti-Dhimmi nomination goes to the folks at United American Comittee for organizing vigils and marches.

Nicolas Sarkozy is the first leader of a major country to restrict Muslim immigration in recent times?

Cartoons should be a separate category. Danish Cartoonists should win that for anti-Dhimmi or
even anti-Jihadi, with anti-Dhimmi Cartoon a separate category.

Some sort of in memoriam category, especially for those who died. Those killed in Iraq and Afghanistan as a group can go in for anti-Dhimmi.

The worst of theirs could win a sort of igNobel Prize category.

The President of Iran needs to win some sort of igNobel category. But this is not Dhimmi, its in the Jihadi category.

There should also be a recognition of our technology and know-how being given away.

Night vision generation III was given to China by Shih, and to Iran by the UK. The latter is clear Dhimmi action. It was then used in Lebanon as pointed out by another poster yesterday.

Stealth was sold to China by Noshir S. Gowadia. Eventually that is sold to Iran, Pakistan and used against us.

Russia and China deserve something for undermining the Iran nuclear talks.

C. Rice deserves something for wanting Turkey in the EU.

We need more categories.

Spy or mole is another set of categories. Lawyer for the Jihadis is another one.

Public Interest Law Firm most against the West is a category of great interest, as is one for the West. Judicial Watch wins that.

There should be one for individual lawyers as well.

Best lawsuit, the lawsuit against Saudi Arabia for 9-11 is a possibility.

Worse law firm might be Baker Botts for defending Saudi Arabia in the 9-11 lawsuit while having pipeline deals. Every defendant deserves a lawyer, but not every defense lawyer deserves a pipeline deal.

Thanks for all the nominations, folks, but I am not going to give myself my own award. Read it again: "Jihad Watch staff and relatives of staff are not eligible for either the Dhimmi or the Anti-Dhimmi prizes."

Cordially
Robert Spencer

I vote Jimmy Carter,

I can't think of a more out of touch operson than him. and his Book Title is offensive beyond words!

Calling Israel an Apartheid state is a grave injustice to the 6 million plus Jews killed in WWII.
I have absolutely no doubt whatsoever that the roadblock to Peace in the Middle East is the PALESTINIANS. the Israelis have tried time and time again to appease them and to live WITH them, to no avail. I don't blame Isrrael one bit. they have a right to survive, and not be MURDERED en masse. they have a right to not be marched into Death Camps again. the Palestinians say that the REAL Holocaust is coming. Gee Jimmy, i mean Dhimmy ? , did you miss that part?

He's a disgustingly uninformed , Antiquated Relic. he was ineffective as a President and he is ineffective as a Peace Keeper.

His Book should be condemned as Anti Semetic and Anti Peace. if i hear one more Person Call the Murdering cold Blooded Palestinians " Heros" or " Freedom Fighters" again, i'm gonna Scream!.

I vote Carter 2006
