M. Zuhdi Jasser at FreeMuslims (thanks to all who sent this in) speaks honestly about the USAirways Imam Rage controversy:
As a devout Muslim, I have watched this painfully protracted saga unravel, fearing what comes next. The media, especially print media, have bent over backward to hear minorities' fears. Yet public opinion has not seemed to budge in favor of the imams. The lesson here lies in why. It has to do with credibility. We are all creatures of passion. This fiasco has stirred the passionate cry of victimization from the Muslim activist community and imam community. But where were the news conferences, the rallies to protest the endless litany of atrocities performed by people who act supposedly in my religion's name? Where are the denunciations, not against terrorism in the abstract, but clear denunciations of al-Qaida or Hamas, of Wahhabism or militant Islamism, of Darfurian genocide or misogyny and honor killings, to name a few? There is no cry, there is no rage. At best, there is the most tepid of disclaimers. In short, there is no passion. But for victimization, always.
Yes.

from above:

In this case the Inmans are suing for money. What you will see are repeat performances by Muslims. Create similiar situations, get thrown out, then sue for money.
It is called blackmail.

This is infuriating! It is nothing more than a mafia-style racketeering scheme! This Moslem trash and subhumanity from CAIR is simply now stealing OUR money! I say OUR money because it is the American airline industry they are stealing it from and, if they succeed, we will all pay the price later in the form of higher ticket prices (not to mention we will have much less security and I think that is their deliberate plan). I sincerely hope that our Federal government summons up whatever remains of its' manhood and pursues CRIMINAL charges of racketeering/criminal enterprise against CAIR. Failing that, I think it is time we begin organizing resistance to CAIR ourselves. Maybe a public protest at CAIR's headquarters would be a start. At least, it would show the Moslems that the "infidels" are not scared of them in the least.....

People like this should start purging Islam of the likes of the Minneapolis Six if we're going to change our views on Islam. If they really are in the majority then what's the holdup already?

Wait a second.
M. Zuhdi Jasser says he is a devout Muslim. What does that mean? How can he be against the Wahhabis, since they claim to be devout?
Is he devout with respect to Meccan suras only? Does he ignore the horrific behavior of Muhammad? Does he ignore Allah's commands to be harsh with the Infidels?
I could go on, but you get the point. He simply cannot be both. Either he is lying and is simply aghast at the stupid behavior of the imams because it is backfiring, or he is about to explode from cognitive dissonance.

The next step for the good muslims of the world like M. Zuhdi Jasser should be to ask the question, "What is this Submission to Allah really about?" Then the good muslims should look at the goals behind Allah's commands, Mohammed's words and deeds and the words of Islamic political and religious leaders through history up until the year 1,426 Muslim time.
Ask yourself this question: what is the agenda of Islam? What does all the 'stuff' really support?

There is something that puzzles me about all this. I can understand the need to pray five times a day. They can pray a hundred times for all I care. But why is it nesessary to make it a specticle? As a Catholic, I remember the teaching to keep prayers between you and God and not "blow a horn in front of you as the hypocrytes do". If I felt the urge to pray, I can say the Rosary counting on my fingers and whispering to myself without kneeling and genuflecting. Surely that would attract less attention. Are Muslims required to pray on their knees with their heads touching the floor? Something is not right about this.

I saw the President of their coalition, Kamal Nawash on Glenn Beck Monday night. Glenn said they had a rally denouncing terrorism two years ago that almost no one attended. ...Odd.
He basicallly said that the Muslim community is aware that they have a problem with extremists, but that only Muslims can bring about change or reformation. He summised that everyone else needs to sit back, relax and wait for that to happen. ...Peculiar.
Beck later went on to point out that there are no references to their organization in buildings that they occupy. ...Strange.
When Beck asked if he fears retribution from extremists beacause of his "supposed" views, he did his best to look American. His reply, if recall correctly, was "Look, the only person I am afraid of is my ex-girlfriend". A bizarre joke considering the subject matter.
At the interview's end the camera cut away and then returned quickly to capture his expression of intense relief accompanied by bulging eyes and a big-time exhale. I thought that was quite telling, actually. It was sort of, "Wow, I can't believe I pulled that one off", but then again, I am certainly a biased Islamophobe. You really need to see the video to understand exactly what I am saying here.
So, He appears on Beck Monday night. Now this article on their site makes its way to JW Wednesday morning. It certainly does beg the question of whether this organization is sincere or merely a shill. Just a plant by CAIR or others as a direct response to the growing question of "where are all the moderate Muslim protesters against Jihad and Islamic extremism in general?"
Draw your own conclusions. I already have mine.

Behind Jassers comments of concern, were numerous excuses, and attempts 'once again' to scapegoat jihad onto a few extreemists. 'Devout muslims' apparently dont believe Allahs commandments and directions to muslims, in the Quran, or see no particular reason to follow them. So a 'devout muslim' then is one who professes to believe in Allah and his 'holy word', but actually does not.
This guy is blowing smoke. Wahabbis are devout muslims, they are the Islamic role models to aspire to. All good muslims are already wahabbis, even if they dont know it...if they are not, they are not really muslims...
at December 13, 2006 11:28 AM
Did i read that right? Did a Muslim actually say that Muslims are silent and complacent on issues other than their Percieved persecution?
WOW!

That's fine. M. Zuhdi Jasser is just behaving as a man whose eyes are open. He has tried accepting the challenges that a lot of moslems have refused to even acknowledge. The only thing is that people like him cannot say these things very loudly before some very pious youths who believe in the commands of the koran, lest they be murdered as apostates.
Just like one poster here has mentioned:
"It certainly does beg the question of whether this organization is sincere or merely a shill. Just a plant by CAIR or others as a direct response to the growing question of "where are all the moderate Muslim protesters against Jihad and Islamic extremism in general?""
Is he genuine? If he is, then another question for M. Zuhdi Jasser is: what are you going to do to all the commands in the koran to do violence or the ones that justifiy violence especially the ones done to infidels? Is he going to stop here?
What other steps are they taking using the action points that Roberts has severally enumerated here as steps 'moderate' moslems themselves can use to purge their religion? What of the political aspect of islam that ahs a lot of opposition to constitutions of free nations? What does he think about sharia?
M. Zuhdi Jasser, you tried but we are saying that we are yet to see your actions.
at December 13, 2006 12:00 PM
this incident and ciar and the imams lawsuit is nothing more than a blatant attempt to extort jizha out of infidels in the USA that they cannot get any other way right now because sharia law is not legall hear in the USA as much the Council on American Islamic relations would like it and coincidentally the same sharia law would make Muslims supreme and make Muslims the only ones with legal rights under sharia law. Fortunately the airlines . Can point to the police report

Try turning the question around: How can the Wahhabis be against him, since he claims to be devout? I find it much easier to believe him than the Wahhabis. Their claims to devotion are just a means of gaining and maintaining power and influence.
Fortunately the human mind is capable of holding contradictory beliefs comfortably without suffering cognitive dissonance.

This whole USAir/Imams thing is to set the stage for when the Dhimmicrats and the Pelosi/Conyers axis take over the House they can start their attempts to protect Muslims from the well deserved scrutiny they get at airports and like. Any one who thinks GW Bush is a dhimmi, wait until the new CON-gress takes over. You ain't seen nothing yet.
I also expect new Thought Control, er, Hate Speech laws aimed at curbing discussion of the threat Islam represents to be on the agenda. Scary times ahead for all of us.

In reality ebonystone..all muslims are the same, there is no real difference between one muslim and another. The Ummah is like a bee hive or ants nest, they are all members of the same tribe and will kill any intruders. An intruder is anyone on the planet who does not submit to Allah and become an Abdallah...slave to Allah.
The Quran is the very word of Allah, that must be believed and obeyed. Real muslims dont like 'pretend' muslims. A 'pretend' muslim is one who thinks the Quran and Mohammads words are open to interpretation. Thats why there ar Shi'ites and Sunni's. Each group thinks the other is a 'pretend' muslim. It is also important to understand that 'All' muslims are 'obligated' to participate in jihad...even if they dont like it...
This: Qur'an:8:5 "Your Lord ordered you out of your homes to fight for the true cause, even though some Muslims disliked it, and were averse (to fighting)."
And this: Qur'an:4:75 "What reason have you that you should not fight in Allah's Cause?" [Another translation says:] "What is wrong with you that you do not fight for Allah?"
And this:Qur'an:2:216 "Jihad (holy fighting in Allah's Cause) is ordained for you (Muslims), though you dislike it. But it is possible that you dislike a thing which is good for you, and like a thing which is bad for you. But Allah knows, and you know not." [Another translation reads:] "Warfare is ordained for you."
These instructions from Allah apply to all muslims everywhere, all the time. There is no real difference between Jassar and Wahabbis...

Mr. Jasser is a medical doctor with a practice in Phoenix; I originally saw his article in the Arizona Republic while there this past weekend.
Of significance, as others have noted, is his perpetuation of the Big Lie:
"But where were the news conferences, the rallies to protest the endless litany of atrocities performed by people who act supposedly in my religion's name?"
"Only when Americans see that animating passion will they believe that we Muslims are totally against the fascists that have hijacked our religion."
Has Roman Catholicism been hijacked by the Pope? Have Orthodox Jews perverted Judaism?

Kudos to Kuhdi- finally a sound person of reason and sensibility- this 'victimization ideology' HAS to stop! Where are the brilliant lawyers who can form sound cases against such extortion by these imams? If anyone has any info on lawyers launching counter suits- please email me at mwh100@hotmail.com with SACREDSCOOP in the subject line- I'd like to post the info on my site to show that there is something being done to counter the insanity- http://sacredscoop.com

The comment by the Muslim is true. The problem (for Muslims) with the victimization mentality (CAIR style, deceptive flying phonies, etc.) is that it mirrors the criminal mind: taking no responsibility for actions, blaming others, rationalizing crimes against others and requiring others to conform to their beliefs. People with this mind-set are capable of horrendous crimes against others. People know that.
This mind-set is a ready made home for anyone with criminal or homicidal attitudes. A lot of Nazis had this kind of mind. A lot of Muslims have this mind-set. It's just the truth.
The criminal-mind attitude also trivializes real victims, Muslim or otherwise. TheFlying phonies are seen for what they are and so is CAIR seen for what it really represents (Al-Qaeda-Lite).

americaningermany-
Interesting comment. It sounds exactly like the psychotic-in-Iran and so many Muslims.
Americaningermany, this whole picture, all the stunts, deceptions and the Psychotic-In-Iran's conference look coordinated. We are dealing with a lot of criminally minded people here. Betty Davis would tell us, "Hold onto your hats, we are in for a bumpy ride". Stay tuned for more stunts.
Al-Qaeda-lite (aka CAIR)thinks they are fooling people, but the truth is that people see right through the deception. Ibrahim Hopper ought to get to get a brown shirt and his little hat should be dyed brown.

No way...
They didn'tmiss any point at ALL...they KNOW FULL WELL about flight behavior...
...theyeither want torewrite the rules, or it's a dry run fakeout to keep us distracted from somethig else in the works entirely.
I've seen this pattern before...and those are the only logical reasons.
Their logic circuits,if one can even call them that, are so primitive it's like reading a childrens book.
They're not fooling anyone...in the know, that is.
