As far as I'm concerned it should be against the Law NOT to profle Muslims. Strip search every dang one of them that uses public transportation of any kind.

This is hardly surprising and this is not the first time this has happened in the UK. I daresay it has happened scores of times but the only other report I've seen on this was a man in a burqa - even better than a face mask, a body bag.

He's a cop-killer which *might* just get people in the government to wake up and ban this ludicrous face mask for security reasons, but I doubt it.

This perversion of multiculturalism and being politically correct clearly represents one of our biggest security headaches.

The obvious ability of someone to hide their face behind a veil, or mask doesn't even come close to rocket science.

I really have began to wonder who is running the asylum. If homeland security,a branch of the federal government; cannot even establish security guidlines that make it illegal to wear a mask, or veil of any kind throughout the country then once again we demonstrate a weak link of what is an obvious enemy or criminal advantage.

As serious as this should be treated, there is some real good cartoons there to illustrate the obvious. I see several police officers running around an airport with a photo of a wanted suspect and there feverishly checking everybody except a person who walks right thru it all wearing a hijab.

Peoples I know that this is hard....but please you must not ban the veil. This is a very important aspect of freedom for muslimas...(even though I do not wear one)...and is extremely likely to impact your grand-daughters anyway (i.e. they will need to take on the veil).

The fact this vile "animal" escaped the police is more attribuatable to your (and somalia's) security personel at the airports, sea-ports.

Why wasn't "she" challenged to show her face,... banning the veil is punishing innocent muslimas and not this man.

I think the Britsh Tax payer in this instance needs to foot the bill to go and bring him back to face justice...and toughen up the procedures at each airport , seaport to see all muslima faces....it's as simple as that....but please do not ban the veil that has served Islam for over 1400 years...if necessary talk to your local MP to ensure no ban.

This is the bottom line. Although not prevalent in the US at the moment, America will wake up and begin to discriminate against Muslims in this country. Profiling, subjagation, deportation et al. Although not openly professed, Muslim immigration will also be nigh impossible. This will of course lead to attacks by "humiliated" Muslims,which will then, in turn justify mass deportation of more Muslims. Once the influx is controlled and the American Jizya is in full force, there will never be a Muslim majority in this country....never.

You have a better chance of sharing a BLT and a Budweiser with your "beloved" Anwer, than my grand-daughter ever wearing a veil besides on her wedding day.

While you can laugh now at the state of Europe, it will be relatively short-lived. If Europe falls into an Islamic Republic, it will be very entertaining to watch the Continent fall into utter disarray and poverty. The Qur'an doesn't feed your family. It also doesn't build bridges, hospitals, power plants etc. We here at JW understand Islam and those unfortunates who follow that "bastard" religion. If I had nothing, and little to no prospect of achieving anything meaningful in my lifetime, Jihad would probably seem appealing to me as well.

Contrary to the drivel about how the world will be perfect when fully islamicized, even a marginally educated man like yourself knows this not to be true. There wil still be haves and have-nots like in every society. Once the infidels are dominated, there will be in-house domination of Muslims against other Muslims. Contrary to the laws of the Qur'an, this is already quite visible with the current Sunni / Shia conflicts, amongst others.

We, as Americans, understand the envy of the world. That is part of the deal that comes with living in the most progressive country in the world. Ironically, it was the separation of church and state that made the "empire of the world" what it is today. Freedom from religious persecution is what our fore fathers sought and what we seek to maintain today. But make no mistake about it. The United States does not thrive due to adherence to any particular book of scripture, and never will.

The West, for all it's petty faults is progressive in nature, while Islam is re-gressive. In reality it is like the aging process. In the West we are small and then grow strong and wise. Islam promotes a regression from self-sufficient to completely dependent.

The rational flaws of Islam, and there are many, are easier to understand if one simply accepts the source. The creator of Islam, an ethically challenged, self-serving narcissist was flawed in many ways. Muslims try to cover up there obvious embarassment with some of the details of his life, and rightly so. He certainly was not someone to model a religion over. So therefore; Islam is adulterated at its inception.

Islam is a castle built on a swamp. Contrary to any logic, it was built there because some book said so and will ultimately and thankfully sink into the depths of that very swamp.

When Jack Straw went public about his objection to veils 3 months ago after 20 years as an MP for a strongly muslim area I thought there had to be a reason.

1. This incident happened a year ago.
2. They must have known about it for months.
3. It comes out at Christmas when nobody in Britain cares about anything but Christmas.

Conclusion - They covered themselves with Straws statement first and released the news in the run up to Christmas when it would have the least impact.

I wish the US and other predominately Christian (for now) countries would WAKE UP!! Religious freedom is one of the rights that we fight to keep BUT, if your "freedom" - (translate = your belief system requires you to cover yourself) interferes with my "freedom" - (translate = my security), then it must be forbidden. If someone feels so strongly about covering themselves, we should make it easier for them to reach the conclusion that they would be more comfortable in an Islamic country.

The niqab is a public safety hazard and must be banned. Religious freedom does not supercede public safety. It's as simple as that.

Here in the "aweful" USA, we don't allow drivers license photos, passport photos and the like without the face showing and we don't allow people through security without showing their mug either.
