For "Islam must dominate, not be dominated." "Jordan tourist attacker to hang," from the BBC:
A Jordanian court has sentenced a man to death by hanging for a gun attack that killed a British tourist visiting Amman and injured six other people.Nabil Ahmad Jaoura, a Jordanian of Palestinian origin, is said to have been motivated by anger at Western policies towards Arabs in the region.
He is said to have acted alone and had no links to violent organisations.
British accountant Christopher Stokes was killed in September's shooting outside Amman's Roman amphitheatre.
Five other tourists and a Jordanian policeman were hurt by bullets fired from Jaoura's pistol. Jaoura was arrested at the scene of the shooting.
As the sentence was read out in Jordan's state security court, Jaoura shouted in Arabic: "God is great!" and "We are the masters, not the slaves."
"I am a holy warrior and I thank God for this verdict," he said.

At least he is not deceptive on the matter and is not a coward. We must respect him for speaking the facts re the belief-systems' supremacist assumptions re its "revelations" even though he killed "someone who does not recognise the last message as the truth". (The British tourist was not "innocent" for that reason.)
The sanctimonious, smug, Nazi-style-supremacist-pig attitude that is implied by such a belief-system's attitude is mental illness. The problem can only be addressed by the honesty-directness of people such as Nabil Ahmad Jaoura.
I am coming to the conclusion that Jesus was right that sinfulness is simply part of our nature but that deception-hypocrisy ruins our opportunity to be delivered from evil. Gandhi thought the message of Jesus re violence and deception was "an offer of a way out of the madness". There is no question that if people rejected all deception much would change in the human condition. We must respect Nabil Ahmad Jaoura for his honesty, though many other belief-system adherents will pretend that the supremacist attitudes of Nabil Ahmad Jaoura are not theirs too.

...In America the ACLU would have stepped in to defend him, Jessie Jackson "the race whore" would have jumped in playing the race card and Wolf Blitzer would have been broadcasting about the United States denying this man his rights.
There would have without a doubt some elected officials questioning the arrest procedure and would be demanding he receive the same treatment that US citizens are allowed.
The PC crowd would turn this man into a "cause celebre"

As far as I can see, all these court cases were a tremendous show for the west only, and every nut-root and every moonbat came out condemning US (not them) for agreeing with the death penalty, for calling for THEIR blood, (because WE are soooo vengeful, we are barbarians still, don't you know....) how would THEY ever learn if we are soooo bloodthirsty.....

I think there he is being deceptive and is practicing true Islam, which we all know considers Unbelievers Kafirs because they (Kafirs) are "someone who does not recognise the last message as the truth". Kafirs must treat the belief-system as if it is scientific fact-truth.
This belief-system, its deceptions, its costumes and supremacist assumptions are a mental illness. Eventually, the authorities in non-belief-system societies are going to see that reality.

I heard the report of this on the BBC this morning, as ever, started shouting at the radio when 'Allahu Akbar' (Allah is Greater) gets translated as 'God is Great'. But I should know better by now, shouldnt I? For instance, check this page at the BBC site. The interview is reprehensible enough, but check out the left information column, about halfway down.

I don't remember where I read this but some group (the MCB, likely) was whining about racial violence against Muslims (what's new?). They put forth some statistic per thousand or something. Not mentioned was that if you're a Jew in Britain, you're 4 times more likely to be attacked because you're a Jew - from the same statistical service. As far as I know, Muslims outnumber Jews in Britain. But if you think THAT'S bad - go to France.

Many Jordanians are critical of Western governments' stance towards the region, particularly their apparent support for Israel's policy towards the Palestinians and for the US occupation of Iraq.
A large proportion of Jordanians are descendants of Palestinian refugees.
That is because Jordan is "palestine". That is where all "palestinians" belong.
