Internet cafés in the front line of new Gaza violence

Because they're, horror of horrors, "trying to make a whole generation preoccupied with matters other than jihad and worship." "Internet cafés in the front line of new Gaza violence," by Stephen Farrell in the TimesOnline, with thanks to Sr. Soph:

Using political violence between Hamas and Fatah as cover, radical Islamists are bombing internet cafés, pool halls and chemists in Gaza to impose their own brand of fundamentalism.

Cybercafés have been singled out for allegedly allowing customers to download pornography. Chemists have been bombed for selling hallucinogens smuggled from Israel or through tunnels from Egypt, while pool halls are accused of encouraging immoral behaviour. A group calling itself the Swords of Islamic Righteousness is believed to have carried out more than a dozen attacks in recent weeks.

The previously unknown group issued a warning letter late last month threatening to “execute the laws of God”. It claimed responsibility for “shooting rocket-propelled grenades and planting bombs at internet cafés in Gaza, which are trying to make a whole generation preoccupied with matters other than jihad and worship”. The group also claimed unverifiable attacks on unveiled women, music shops and motorists playing loud music.

Many of Gaza’s backstreet internet cafés have closed after the attacks. Many of those still open told The Times that they were nervous about the Islamist threat. Security officials and human rights workers said that disintegrating law and order was also being exploited by gangsters and criminals. Women’s rights groups report an increase in “honour killings” of women suspected of adultery or immoral behaviour.

Read it all.

Some people really do deserve shari'a.

So they are attacking any source of non jihad directed information, are they. This is not surprising. It is part and parcel of any totalitarian ideology. And you call this religion?

"We got trouble,
right here in Gaza City.
And that starts with T
and that rhymes with P
and that stand for POOL!"

-----Professor Hill, MUSIC MAN

It occurs to this actress, that if only Islam were not so antagonistic to the performing arts (other than some very fine children's animation showing kids how to make jihad on apes and pigs)
the Gaza authorities could start a band and get those kids out of the cyber cafes and pool halls. But alas, this socio political ideology masquerading as a religion, got off to a bad start what with the first assassinations being two poets and a poetess (remember that in the 7th century poets had to PERFORM their work since most folks, like Mohammed, were illiterate). And all that singing and dancing and 76 trombones might rile up the mullahs who are otherwise very jovial and easy going fellows.

Does it ever occur to these people that Allah could instantly strike the drug trafficers and users, as well as the pronographers and all others who violate Allah's law, dead in an instant? That Allah could split their brains in two, rip their spines out, put them back and do that over and over again if he so desired? Where do these people come off thinking that they know Allah's will towards others and that they (the bombers) are needed by Allah to do bidding that Allah himself is apparently not doing? Have they completed their own Greater Jihad, corrected all oftheir own shortcomings and faults so that now they have nothing better to do than find and "correct" faults in others? Where do they get the idea that Allah is so weak that he cannot enforce his own laws and justice without their help? Seems un-Islamic in one sense.

"Chemists have been bombed for selling hallucinogens..."

In this case, the jihadists are doing us a favor: the last thing we need is Muslims freaking out on acid.

Palestine, Iraq,Afghanistan all are in compliance with Sharia or at least will try to comply by the order of Allah and His Messenger (may all Sharia killings be upon Him) since he has made them addicted to kill each other.
In absence of any infidel or non-muslim, they will kill each other due to their addiction to violent teachings of their self-proclaimed Prophet...I wonder why do we need to send troops then??

All Islamic websites should be closed down. After all, if Mohammed could do without them, so should today's Muslims.

Seems the "palestinians" have traded in their ordinary run-of-the-mill rape and pillage gangstas for some serious islamic gangstas. That ought to teach those jooze a lesson.

Gaza is a petri dish. I like to check in to Jihad Watch every day or two to see what bacilli have developed and which are winning.

See the world seems to think Israel is in the wrong, they are occupying it's their fault, all Israel asks for is Democracy all the Muslim world asks for is to kill the infidels that does not fit into their overly strict system. If Israel becomes Palistine again wave your Christian and Jewsish rights away as to be there if it happens will become one Giant Mecca where infedels are not allowed to visit too closely. Temple Mount causes a stir if an infidel walks up to the top so imagine giving Israel to the Palistinians. They will block every religious rights you have to visit the holy places and destroy probably the dead sea scrolls and what ever Jewish Christian history has to show that Islam was not part of God's plan. The problem is unsolveable and the guy who thinks he can will be the Anti-Christ. The only thing that will solve it is God's comming.

So now the Arafaters/hamassvillians are bombing internet cafes, clubs, all the wonders of the 20th/21st centuries that the non-arafaters/Hamassvillians have invented and shared.

Now let me take a wild guess. Who's going to get the blame when the electricity fails due to someone mistaking a substation for one of those "kaffir" places?

Can someone please educate me as to why the world should give a "darn" for people who love to destroy life? And can we please send Mr. Carter there as an Ambassador for the KKK (not that he isn't one) so he can support these creatures with his Habitat for Humanity programs?
