Wanted in the 1998 Embassy bombings. From AP, with thanks to Twostellas:
KISMAYO, Somalia — Fighting erupted Sunday on the outskirts of the last remaining stronghold of Somalia's militant Islamic movement, as thousands of residents streamed from the area ahead of the feared battle with Ethiopian-backed government troops.Prime Minister Ali Mohamed Gedi said the militants in the coastal city of Kismayo were sheltering three men wanted in the 1998 bombings of U.S. embassies in Kenya and Tanzania that killed more than 250 people.
"If we capture them alive we will hand them over to the United States," Gedi said.

At last!!! These guys are more important to us Americans then Saddam. They killed real Americans and made war against us.
Thank god we have some people on this earth like the Ethiopians who get it. Its not about nation building or democracy....its about planting jihadis in the ground.

Remember during the Cold War when the Soviets told us that takeovers by the Communists were inevitable and there was nothing we could do about it? And we've listened to Naseem and the other trolls with their wishful thinking blather on and on about the Islamization of America. Same bullshit, different day. All talk, no substance.
I love these Somalian freedom fighters.

OT, this is monstrous, heads must roll, and I mean lots of them!
“The story we’re telling is beyond important, because it goes to the heart of the problem in the War on Terror: Our soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines are being offered as sacrificial lambs for the political gain of those in power.
Do I agree with the War on Terror? Absolutely. I support the mission. However, the military justice system is broken. Instead of being a system for justice and integrity, a place where the innocent are exonerated and the guilty punished, it has become a place where the end is known before the first witness is called; the winners are the generals and admirals and attorneys.
The losers are the men who go out day after day and hold their fire when they’re shot at for fear that they will be charged with murder. Just in case you still don’t think what I’m talking about is really happening, allow me to tell you a story.
In 1990, the executive officer of the USS Mars was court-martialed and convicted of dereliction of duty. It was just another court-martial, another win to chalk up for military prosecutors–who have a 97% conviction rate. But this case was different. Even the prosecutor is on sworn record as saying there was not enough evidence for conviction.
We have hard copy proof of the following: The admiral who started the investigation against the XO not only ignored all evidence proving the XO innocent, but he actively engaged in unethical conduct throughout the investigation, Article 32, and trial.
In fact, this admiral named himself as the convening authority for the case and handpicked the jury from his own staff. The admiral’s Staff Judge Advocate, contrary to ethics and military law, continued to advise the admiral in secret throughout the case, even though he was the accuser against the XO. In one memo, he assures the admiral that “there is no copy of this memo” on his computer or in his office.
The Staff Judge Advocate also complained about the prosecutor on the case, claiming that he didn’t want to “win” bad enough. The defense attorney forged the XO’s name to an official Response to the Letter of Reprimand after the court-martial. The XO never even knew this document existed for years after, and yet the Navy maintains that the XO’s signature is real and that the document is a true and legal one. A handwriting expert, however, says that’s not true.
The NCIS is involved, as well, doing the bidding of those who stand to be embarrassed by the information coming out. Last year four NCIS agents showed up at the XO’s residence. The armed agents told him to leave the situation alone, to stop making waves or they’d have him arrested by the county sheriff. In the last few weeks, the Department of Homeland Security have been to the XO’s residence six times.
What does all this have to do with cases like the Pendleton 8? I’ll give you a hint. The head NCIS agent outside the XO’s home that day last year just happens to be the same man in charge of the investigation of the Pendleton 8.
This story has it all: lies, betrayal, treachery, and dishonor.

I must apologize to all who have said that the guvment are conspirators in the jihad. I will from now on be extra skeptical of any and all events that take place. If this is proved true, damn, no amount of punishment no matter how cruel will be sufficient.

Of course nothing is completely finished and solved, it never is. The Islamists may yet recover in Somalia and make a comeback of sorts.
But for the sake of all of us who are battling this scourge of militant Islam, just for now, for this day, for this week, ENJOY the sight of those threatening thugs scattering like little mice in every direction when confronted by decisive and resolute counterforce.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!

So, Clinton - and Madeline (not so) Albright - were major players in helping the muslims win and then that allowed Al Qaeda to come in and just set up bases.

An Associated Press reporter saw hundreds of Islamic fighters, many of them Arabs and South Asians, fleeing in heavily armed trucks toward the Kenyan border, 100 miles to the south.
Latest A.P. update:
"The Islamic forces have a base near the border on a small peninsula called Ras Kamboni, where there is a pier and traditional oceangoing boats known as dhows.
Ethiopian MiG fighter jets flew low over the ocean looking for boats that might be carrying the escaping Islamic fighters.
The Islamic forces began to disintegrate after a night of artillery attacks at the front line and following a mutiny within its ranks, witnesses said. Government spokesman Abdirahman Dinari said he had information that Islamic forces were moving south toward the Kenyan border.
“The Islamists have fled Kismayo and our troops are on the way,” Dinari said."

Clinton more responsible than I thought for enabling radical terrorists. I thought due to his gutting our intelligence (and military) and allowing the Islamics to attack us time and again - that he was at fault. But it also seems that his support of the muslims in Bosnia who slaughtered hundreds of thousands of Christians who were fighting back - gave Al Qaeda room to move into the area - set up bases and train more thugs to attack innocents.
So, Clinton - and Madeline (not so) Albright - were major players in helping the muslims win and then that allowed Al Qaeda to come in and just set up bases.

s_sgt7, thanks for the youtube link, we have not heard the last of that. i remember there were reports in the UK media during the Balkan war that US-operated C130s were bringing foreign jihadis and supplies. i just found this

there is probably a lot more on this subject out on the net.
we can only hope that the Ethiopians or the Kenyans or someone will net the 'hundreds of Islamic fighters, many of them Arabs and South Asians, fleeing in heavily armed trucks toward the Kenyan border'.

The regular Ethiopian troops may be making short work of the Islamist troops on the battlefield in Somalia - no surprise - but things are not cut and dried, as experience in Iraq has shown. Although Saddam's regular forces were pulverised in any straightforward confrontation, the victors have since been faced with irregular forces that attack from the shadows with hidden bombs, quite often strapped to their own bodies. Most of their targets are not the soldiers who defeated them - but unarmed people on the streets, say on their way to the mosque, out shopping or on other everyday errands. If the Ethiopian troops have any lessons on how to deal with the slimy creatures from the shadows, let them pass them on.

This proves that military strenght is needed to wack the islamist down, and keep doing it till they are all dead. no more talk, no more containment, just go in there and go after the violent jihadist face on and this will give the rest the courage to stand up against these cowards who bully unarmed civilians.
a lesson for the rest of us in the West. Happy New Year to all!

At last!!! These guys are more important to us Americans then Saddam. They killed real Americans and made war against us.
The 168 who perished in the jihad terror attack on the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahomastan on April 19, 1995 were real Americans. That operation was run by a Moslem activists from Judea running a staff of several Iraqui soldiers.
It doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out who funded that one. The CIA and FBI know who. Too bad they're so elite that we mere Plebians aren't eligible to be told.

My hit list of Importance:
(1) Osama and his boys (inc. Taliban)
(2) Saudi Arabian Royal Family and clerics
(3) Iran's leadership and clerics
(4) Pakistan (tribal leaders in western Paki)
(5) Sudan's leadership and clerics
(6) CAIR and subversive groups within west
(7) Hamas and other Pali orgs.
(8) Indonesian groups
(9) then and only then perhaps Saddam and Bathists but they are bottom feeders...little fish in the grand plan.
Enough of this Saddam was a world threat. He was muslim yes but a Stalin lover also. He was phoney and everyone knows it. He could have been paid off until it was time to do him in.
I am not saying we should have been friends becuase we have no muslim friends. Call it a temporary truce until we deal with other pressing needs.
Let me ask you this: What was/is a greater danger to the USA: CAIR or Saddam?
Ponder that one for the future...

Even when alive and in power, of course CAIR was the greater threat.
My only point is that the Islam Fictive Reality to which our elite would consign us is damaging.
1) Don't overlook the fact that the '93 bombing of the World Trade Center was led by Saddam's former intelligence chief.
2) The '95 Murrah bombing featured McVeigh & Nichols as cutaways, but was without dispute immersed in Moslems, some longer term residents of Oklahomistan, several others fresh to the Cowboy State after stints in Saddam's army during the Gulf War.
3) Now, as to yet another Oklahomistan jihad terror war attack, the suicide bomber white kid from Denver who was rooming with two Pakis who prematurely self-detonating as he headed for the entrance of the Jayhawks vs. Sooners game in Norman... that I'll grant you was not by Saddam, that was an organic jihad attack.
Now, I treasure "secular" Moslem dictators as much as the next anti-Dhimmi, but one would be kidding oneself to believe that Saddam did no damage on American soil.
