CAIR Seethes, Whines, Lies After Boxer Rescinds Award

Charles Johnson at LGF has a terrific summary of how CAIR is putting pressure on Barbara Boxer for rescinding her award to Basim Elkarra. He ably documents Nihad Awad's disingenuous statements.

Here is Awad teaming with convicted terrorist Ismail Royer at IslamOnline.

And here is Daniel Pipes documenting that Royer was a CAIR official when he was arrested.

I fully agree with Charles that Boxer will cave forthwith, and Elkarra will get his award.

Please be aware that on March 31 CAIR (wolves in sheep clothing) will be called out to condemn terrorism all across America.

Rally Against Islamofascism Day Update!
UAC is seeking rally organizers across the U.S.

The UAC is in search of coordinators for the March 31st Rally Against
Islamofascism Day. If you can organize a rally in your area please let the
UAC know by sending an e-mail to rallies@unitedamericancommittee.org
Due to the fact that the UAC has challenged the Council on American
Islamic Relations (CAIR) to issue a fatwa (Islamic edict) against Osama
bin Laden and other terrorists by name, and CAIR has thus far refused to
issue such a fatwa, rallies should be held in front of CAIR offices which
are listed on CAIR's website:
http://www.cair.com/default.asp?Page=chapters
There is a friendly open invitation for all members of CAIR to join in on
the festivities. A mock hanging of bin Laden should be included in each
rally if possible. If a CAIR office is not in your region, please feel
free to organize a rally on March 31st at any busy intersection or other
location.

From one of the links above , YES...read it twice
your eyes do not deceive you !

Name Muslimah - United States

Profession teacher

Question What can a person do when anti-muslims pose as muslims on the internet chat forums with the intention of giving daw'ah, but what they are giving is daw'ah for uniting the religions and not the true islam? Is it possible to stop groups who are enemies of islam from doing such things and misleading people?

Answer No, it is not possible to stop them because people can say or do pretty much anything they want to on the Internet. The most effective thing that you could do is to expose their ideas for what they are and then people will be able to judge for themselves what the truth is. CAIR has only supported shutting down websites in the past if they have been blatantly racist or called for violence against Muslims. Sometimes, exposing the dishonest tactics of some anti-Muslim activists is more devastating to these groups than shutting them down.

As if.......!

Gosh Briars I hope so- Although what is to keep them from doing just what they have always done? Lie. The public seems not to care that CAIR are liars- all they see is that CAIR does stand up for rights- they just don't seem to make the connection that CAIR stands up for terrorists rights for them ost part- We're all trying ot get the word out, but it just seems liek a losing battle- it seems innevitable that the far lefty will win this war for American minds and hearts unfortunately. http://sacredscoop.com

I don't think there will be a change in Boxer's policy. She now has had brought to her attention just a little too much of the truth. And the more CAIR makes an issue of it, the more of that truth is likely to be disseminated to others, and note taken.

CAIR's moaning & groaning about this award is quite similar to a little baby throwing a temper tantrum after having its rattle taken away.

Let them whine on.

The facts have already been reviewed, and the decision came back not in their favor. The more they bring this up, the more asinine they look.

If Senator Boxer caves into CAIR and their crybabying on this issue, she will look awfully foolish, especially since this story has hit the mainstream press.

She made the decision based on the information she was provided (ie the facts). CAIR will need to prove that they are innocent and benign, which they cannot. Just ask Anti-CAIR.

Flooding Senator Boxer's office with calls and e-mails expressing support for her decision couldn't hurt.

As a California resident, I have called and written Senators' Boxer and Feinstein on the subject of Islam (and CAIR, too) on many occasions.

I will send additional polite notes of appreciation and support to Senator Boxer, along with facts about CAIR, this coming week.

If she caves, it won't be because she hasn't heard from me.

CAIR is also whining about Stuck Mojo's anti-Jihad rap song Open Season.CAIR is claiming the song is anti-Muslim when what it is anti-Jihad. Listen to the lyrics and judge for yourself. Here's the video of CAIR remix of Open Season.

Hugh beat me to it.

I don't think there will be a change in Boxer's policy.

How could she change her mind again, and give the award? The first time she could claim that one of her assistants gave the award without her knowledge, or that she was unaware of CAIR's activities. But this time there would be no excuse. She has been informed about CAIR, and one hopes, about the teachings of Islam, and for her as for us, there is no going back. Once the truth about Islam is learned, it cannot be easily unlearned.

"I fully agree with Charles that Boxer will cave forthwith, and Elkarra will get his award".-Robert

I think Boxer was shown something that really spooked her. Politicians are as deceitful as Mohammad, but they run when something really stinks and will cost them votes. She doesn't care about PC in this matter because she knows something that makes PC look ridiculous.

Hugh has been writing re the German-American Bund, the Silver-Shirts, etc. There is a valid comparison between CAIR and other Muslim organizations of today and Nazi subversive groups (funded by Hitler) in the America of the 1930's and early 1940's. However, the Nazi Front groups eventually became as loathsome as CAIR will become in the future. CAIR is the Muslim-American Bund of our time.

I am no fan of Boxer - in fact, I've regretted every victory she's had, and usually happen to be on the same page as Dennis Miller as far as she goes. That said, I tend to agree with Hugh and Special_Guest - I doubt that Boxer will restore the award. If anything, all the facts about CAIR that have been coming out in connection with this award should make CAIR persona non grata as far as Boxer is concerned, regardless of what it may do to the DNC at large. In fact, Boxer should escalate her outrage, and demand that the award be physically restored - simply it being in Elkarra's drawers is not good enough.

As far as the death threats go, if it is coming from DNC operatives of the Bob Mulholland brand, it couldn't have happened to nicer people. It's good to see Dems target our enemies, for a change.

Let's all get involved with the March 31st rallies--in honor of Mo's b-day. It's time to hold thier feet to the fire. I will help get a contingent moving.

Think of it, a chance to force the deceit of CAIR to be put on the front page. It's high time.

Between giving important jobs to "active" jihadists like Royer, and launching disasterous law suits against Anti-CAIR's Andrew Whitehead, CAIR has not exactly shown itself to be a very savvy PR outfit for their Saudi patrons. Pressuring Boxer to restore an honorary award to someone who has been shown to be most unworthy is only going to prove to the average citizen that CAIR is exactly the dangerous organization that Whitehead and many others claim that it is.
