Jordan's Muslim Brotherhood Movement on Wednesday blasted Ethiopia's military intervention in Somalia as an "occupation by proxy" on behalf of the United States."The presence of US troops near the Somali coasts and the bombardment of Islamic positions inside Somalia by US warplanes is evidence that Ethiopia has occupied the country by proxy on behalf of the United States," the movement said in a statement.
The United States has delegated this task to Ethiopia against the backdrop of Washington's "former bad luck in Somalia and the heroic resistance it is facing in Iraq and Afghanistan", it added....
The Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood urged Somalis to "unite around a single vision for the sake of their country's independence, freedom and the Arab-Islamic identity as well as the alienation of their country from internal fighting and foreign interventions".
It also called on the Arab League and the Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) "to do their utmost so as to bring Somalia out of its tragic situation and put an end to foreign interventions by the country's historic foes".

NO! You Ethiopians GREAT WORK! Somalians, support Etheopia and your government and you will have a country where people can prosper. If only the ARABS living in Gaza would do this!
A peaceful country, means the international community will invest in you and you will have economic development and prosperity in your future.
Don't listen to the temper-tantrums of the fat, comfy, imams in Jordan - they do not care about you, your life OR your children.

It would not do for people in Somalia to discover that they might be something other than "Arabs" or that they possessed a history other than the one imposed on them by Islam, which meaans only the history of Islam, and -- as with Podnsap snapping his fingers -- "nothing else to be - anywhere!"
And it would not to for Kurds to resent the mass-murder by a Sunni Arab desopt, or the way in which their own efforts to bring to the world's attention what was done to them by Saddam Hussein and his Arab officers and men was stopped by Shi'a Arabs as soon as "their" trial was over, and they, the Shi'a, had made "their" point.
And it would not do for Berbers in Algeria and Morocco to begin to see that that "Arab-Islamic" identity that is forced upon them has been nothing but an attempt to rewrite their own history, to force them to give up speaking Tamazight (the Berber language), to end all of their much more relaxed Berber customs, and in short, to do what Arabs bearing Islam always tried to do, and in the MIddle East often successfully, save for the resistant Persians -- which was to arabize through Islam, and thus did a small group of conquering Arabs transform much more advanced populations, not only into Muslims, but into people who believed themselves to be Arabs, and thereby one sees that the descendants of some of those conquered non-Muslims, including many Egyptian "Arabs" whose ancestors were forcibly converted Copts, have in turn so accepted their "Arab-Islamic" identity as to forget, or never to ahve nown, about their Coptic origins and have become persecutors of the very people from whom they are descended.
In Somalia, one wonders how much or how little the Arab slave trade is discussed, and how much, or how little, another -- black African identity -- matters to Somalis, or what is made, in Somalia, of the Arab Muslim attack on black Muslims in Darfur.
The greatest divide within Islam is, potentially, that of the resentment of Arabs by non-Arab Muslims. For the more that Islam is seen for what it is, a vehicle for Arab linguistic, cultural, and political imperialism -- the more that phrase "Arab-Islamic identity" just put forth by the Jordanian Muslim Brotherhood, is held up to critical scrutiny, the more likely it is that some non-Arab Muslims will cease to want to behave like little Arabs, or to tie their own fates to the Arabs. And just possibly, it will lead to defections from the Camp of Islam as Kurds, Berbers, and Malays and others discover that the universalist claims of Islam merely disguise that Arab imperialism that Anwar Shaikh, and other apostates, recognized as not tangential but central to Islam.

Ethiopians are helping us get wanted fugitives, you can be sure they are not the "proxy" of liberals in our country, but I thank God for what they are doing, if they were our "proxy" we should be hiring them to finish the job in Iraq, Pakistan or Afghanistan, under guise of "multi-national peace keeping", I don't think they would get as confused about who the enemy is. (HINT: It's the ones who are trying to kill you).

It sure would be nice if the Somalis came to their senses and said "You know what? We have nothing but problems because we were stupid enough to believe all the BS in the Koran for all these years. Let's get rid of Islam because it's a proven failure and try something better to finally improve ourselves". I know it's a pipe dream but it sure would be nice to see. The Somalis could only improve their lot in life if they did drop Islam like a turd in a toilet.

Oh, and of course the Muslims would NEVER occupy anyplace that isn't theirs!!!! (Really???).
Well, for starters, there's Pakistan and Bangladesh which were wrongfully taken from the Hindus and occupied by Islam, and the same applies for Kashmir, or Mindanao, or Turkey which is rightfully Greece's, or Chechnya which is rightfully the Russians' or Spanish Sahara....to name but a few examples of Islam wrongfully and knowingly occupying non-Islamic territories.
