American Muslim groups call for end to "harassment" of Sami Al-Arian

The American Muslim Alliance (AMA), Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), Islamic Circle of North America (ICNA), Muslim Alliance in North America (MANA), Muslim American Society (MAS), Muslim Student Association-National (MSA-N), Muslim Ummah of North America (MUNA), Project Islamic Hope (PIH), and United Muslims of America (UMA) rush to the defense of Sami Al-Arian, an admitted member of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad.

Yet most officials and media talking heads will continue to assume that these are "moderate" groups.

"American Muslims Call Al-Arian Imprisonment 'Double Jeopardy,'" a press release from a coalition group, The American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections (AMT):

WASHINGTON, Jan. 29 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The American Muslim Taskforce on Civil Rights and Elections (AMT), a national coalition of major American Muslim organizations, today said the new prison sentence given to former Florida professor Sami Al-Arian amounted to unconstitutional "double jeopardy."

Al-Arian recently began a hunger strike after being given a sentence of up to 18 months for refusing to testify before a grand jury in Virginia. He and his attorney say an early plea agreement freed him from further cooperation with the government. Al-Arian's supporters say he is being held in a rat and cockroach-infested prison and is being forced to wear dirty and inadequate clothing as a form of harassment.

In 2005, a Florida jury rejected federal charges that Al-Arian operated a cell for the Palestinian Islamic Jihad. Al-Arian later pleaded guilty to a lesser charge and was scheduled for release and deportation in April.

A lesser charge. See here what he really admitted to.

The various Muslim groups supporting this Islamic Jihad loving thug have now aligned themselves with the terrorists..We need to know more about them.....

I think I will start a campaign, I’m going to write everybody in Washington I can. I will harp on the fact that slavery doesn’t exist here anymore and ask why not? I will ask, don’t you think women have too many rights here in America? I will make an argument that is straight out of the Koran w/o mentioning it and when they reply to my lunatic ravings I will say, hey I have been reading this new book, new to me, but it has lots of ideas in it. What book, the Koran of course. I will continue with, I think we can learn a lot from these guys, who cares if almost every one of them I read about are islamists, support islamists or ignore islamists. What difference does it make that their book commands them to slay the un believers where ever they find them, they don’t take this literally, its not like people are really being killed over this ideology right? I am really concerned about the harassment of islamists and their supporters, after all it says right in their book numerous times that they have every right to do these things to us.

These are groups akin to the German-American Bund of Fritz Kuhn in their attitudes, and in their support for the enemy in what is, or should be, recognized as wartime. After all, in Islam it is always war-time: the division of the world between Believer and Infidel makes for a permanent state of war with all inhabitants of Dar al-Harb, and while fighting may not always be constant, that State of War is indeed forever, until all obstacles to the spread of Islam are removed, and until Islam everywhere dominates -- for "Islam is to dominate and not to be dominated" (also sprach Muhammad)--and Muslims rule, everywhere.

These Muslim groups identify with, and support, known enemies, known participants in Jihad. The Jihad in Sami al-Arian's case happens to have been mainly the Lesser Jihad against Israel, but no one should doubt that if given half a chance he would work tirelessly in order to further the islamization of Western Europe, or to expand the presence and power of Islam in this country, so as to look forward to the day when Islam prevails, and of course everywhere else in the world -- in Kashmir, in southern Thailand, in southern Sudan and Darfur, one should have no doubt where Sami al-Arian and his Arab supporters stand -- they stand with the forces of Islam, or in the case of Darfur, just like all the Arab states, foursquare with the Arabs mass-murderers of non-Arab Muslims, as they would with the Arabs who mass-murdered the Kurds, or deny the Berbers their lingusitic and cultural rights, in North Africa.

These organizations need to be penetrated, and a book needs to be written -- many books -- about their schemes and dreams and what moves them, what they say and think behind closed doors, when the Infidels are not, they think, listening ("War is deception" said Muhammad). In the middle of World War II, John Roy Carlson performed such undercover work and wrote about it. His book, "Under Cover," went through 20, 30, 40 printings -- and exposted Fritz Kuhn's Bund, and William Pellley's Silver Shirts, and all the other pro-Nazi and pro-Axis groups, working so sinisterly, as best they could, to udnermine their own country's war effort and its political and legal institutions.

There is no difference now. See the names of those organizations. Think of them as Fritz Kuhn's Bund. For their function and role are exactly the same.

These bumper-sticker Muslim minds don't get it. They don't see that they are setting themselves up for a justifiable ass-kicking after a worse than 911 occurs in some kuffir land. If they were smart they would demand that this deceptive fool in jail cooperate with the authorities. In any case, eventually, we are all going to hear reams of tapes of CAIR, etc. with their secret Jew-hating, and other hypocrisies-deceptions that will round out the argument as to why they are no different than the Psychotic-In-Iran as a danger to the human species.

Some day, some Muslim reading this, will see that I am right. This bumper-sticker-Islamaphobia Muslim mind is incompatible with their own survival. Muslim deception must end. This bum in jail is a lying creep-not a victim.

The difference is that the Koran is allegedly dictation (word-for-word) from God, it's not like the Book of Joshua, open to interpretation. Muslims who present that argument are either ignorant re the differences between the Old Testament and the Koran-or else it's just Muslim deception. (For example, Christians don't treat the gospels of John, or the letters of Paul, etc. as dictation. Few people treat the Old Testament violent passages as dictation either.) When the Almighty says "kill the Kaffir SOB" in the Koran-that's allegedly a direct order from the top.

"It is becoming increasingly clear that the government is seeking to
impose legal and physical penalties on Dr. Al-Arian that it could not
obtain through the judicial process. The government's actions amount to an
unconstitutional 'double jeopardy'..."

It's such a comfort to know that while most of the public school graduates in the United States don't know anything about history, the Islamic neanderthals must have aced their civics classes and pulled a lot of all nighters to learn how our system works so they can use it to destroy us. I do resent it, though, when they use the word "unconstitutional" since they mean to replace our constitution with Sharia law.

Double jeopardy, indeed. The United States is facing more like triple and quadruple jeopardy as long as we ignore the Islamic threat that is right under our noses. But then it's not just the students in our school system that apparently don't know how to think. Nor the polititcians who run our country.

The "difference" is that Islam is a massive cult that was concocted by a self-deluded madman bent on fulfilling his lust for power, money and all the women he desired. And even children and the truly innocent were not safe.

The fact that the lie and heresy continues to thrive in today's age is the ultimate evil in the history of man.

How many more propaganda groups and false charities and apartment mosques and Islamic terrorist cells are already in development in cities around the United States I wonder....

Just because Nazis and Orthodox Jews believe in "family values" does not mean that they have some basis for common ground. The underlying dogmas and not any similarities on some things are the issue. Generalizations based on some similarities between two things mean nothing with regard to sameness of the things. All terms used must be carefully defined and the reasons for any superficial similarities must be subjected to rigorous analysis before two things can be said to be compatible. That's the way it looks to moi.

S_sgt 7,

Yes, if God the Father of the Old and New Testaments is Allah, then He contradicts himself. How can God admonish us, through His Son, to love our neighbor as ourselves, turn the other cheek and do good to those who despitefully use us and then turn around and tell us to kill the non-believers, rape captive women and lie in order to take over other people's countries? He would not. And if I've learned one thing about God over the years it's that He doesn't lie, ever, and He doesn't want us to lie either. That is how I know that God the Father is not the same as Allah.

Jesus says you are either for Me or against Me. He says you will know them by their fruits. Nothing has changed under the sun.

“In the first place we should insist that if the immigrant who comes here does in good faith become an American and assimilates himself to us, he shall be treated on an exact equality with everyone else, for it is an outrage to discriminate against any such man because of creed or birthplace or origin. But this is predicated upon the man’s becoming in very fact an America and nothing but an American.

If he tries to keep segregated with men of his own origin and separated from the rest of America, then he isn’t doing his part as an American.”
Teddy Roosevelt 1919.

sheik yer'mami,
I think they all need American history lessons, actually the whole darn country could use some. It is all there if we look for it, we have dealt with all of our modern problems before. Immigration, totalitarianism, slavery, secessionism, religion, it has all been discussed at some point in our history. I do believe that all of the things that we have encountered in the past have left us in a unique position to deal with this latest threat., Adams, Jefferson, Lincoln, Roosevelt, that is just the tip of the iceberg, there is lots more yet uncovered just waiting for someone to blow off the dust and read it.

Posted by: tgusa [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 30, 2007 12:33 PM

@tgusa: You make the right point. American history could save us all, but I guess the kids in school are too busy posting fights on YouTube and emulating the icons of sports and Hollywood to care much about that anymore. So much for the idea of "busy" homework and standardized testing making a positive impact on the system. What we need are more library cards.

And I'm sorry, but Al-Arian deserves harassment and worse. Anyone that even sniffs of Islam is going to get asked tough questions.

Even I had to get on the bandwagon today:

Is Barack Obama Ideologically Muslim?

Foehammer,
Lets see if I have this straight. His father was a muslim, his stepfather was a muslim, he attended a school that taught the koran. When does one become a muslim, at birth, at 6, at 12? And…don’t they have a rule, something like, you can check out but you can never leave?

Posted by: tgusa [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 30, 2007 2:58 PM

Sami Al-Arian was a smart Alec. A smirking wise guy for years who thought he had outfoxed those slow Anglos. He is after all a member of the Muslim master race. So dancing past these sappy silly Americans was easy.

So it's great to see this rat in prison, squandering his money and other people's money on lawyers on a Federal court case that will never end. Kinda like the Jihad that never ends but this is a gubbermnint Jihad on him!

“Al-Arian's supporters say he is being held in a rat and cockroach-infested prison and is being forced to wear dirty and inadequate clothing as a form of harassment.” --- a statement posted above.

One summer, I took a short course, worked and played, in Florida, during which time I worked as a busboy at a popular steakhouse. There were a number of times, I found cockroaches crawling on the window ledge, when it was quiet, at about 9 a.m., before it was opened. There was a morning, when I arrived early, needed breakfast, I dipped a ladle and stirred a cool pot of leftover, ready-to-discard, vegetable stew. I had a habit of dishing meat from the bottom, but a drowned rat came up with it.

That should speak for the common harassments anyone can find in Florida, considering it being in the tropics. What’s new?

Could the restaurant have been converted to detain Al-Arian?

Posted by: ssa [TypeKey Profile Page] at January 30, 2007 3:23 PM

@tgusa: My philosophy is simple and fair, at least I think so -- if I have a doubt, then they're out.

I don't leave any wiggle room for 1/4 Muslims, 1/2 Muslims, might-be's or could-be's -- Obama doesn't sound like any President or Vice President of the United States I've ever envisioned, so I say, move along Senator. Do your job in the Senate, do it well, but this lovefest, "Messiah of the Democratic Party" hogwash doesn't hold water with me.

He won't win anyway, and neither will the Clinton-witch. That's my prediction.

This country is in dire need of a Godfather Presidential ticket. Give us Tancredo/Giuliani and let's start breaking kneecaps on the Islamists.

But, of course, I'm biased since I'm half Sicilian. Coincidence?

"American Muslim groups call for end to . . . "

When will our officials have the gumption to "call for an end to . . . " Islam and its Moslems trying to force us to "respect" Islam and them?

Respect is earned, never forced from anyone.

From its beginnings, Islam and its Moslems hardly earned respect. They engendered fear in their early years, and on, until they were given the beatings they deserved and sent sulking back into the cesspool from which they swarmed out.

Sami Al-Arian deserves to be harassed until his sorry carcass is deported out of this country, never to be allowed back in.

The Moslem groups "calling for an end to . . . " deserve to be under close scrutiny as agents of a foreign power (the ummah).

By the way that Tancredo/Giuliani ticket looks as if it would be dead on . . . a start to put an end to this "calling for an end to . . . " and "demanding . . . " this and that on the part of Moslems here in the United States.

There is an interesting 2008 poll over at pajamasmedia.com. Kucinich comes in third with the dems if you can believe it. I trust my instincts when it comes to the candidates, I had a good feeling about Reagan, I was right. I didn’t have that same feeling with Bush Sr. but he was better than Dukakis. President Bush gave me a feeling that he was an honorable and caring man. I think I was right on that but that was what I was looking for prior to 9-11. Now its different, my personal hunch for the right man/men, Gingrich, Giuliani, Romney. Tancredo? Maybe but he is so good where he is I hate to lose him. Any combination of the three would do. I personally like Gingrich, former history professor and he’s from Georgia, the victim of Sherman’s march to the sea so he must understand what it takes to win wars. Reagan was the great communicator, I think Gingrich should be called the great educator. Just like Reagan, you can tell Gingrich is comfortable and confident in his beliefs, when he talks his words come easy to him, he articulates his ideas very well. And after the last two elections I am looking forward to that.

Islamic doctrine teaches first-degree murder which is a capital crime in America; in fact killing other human beings (homicide) is a central component of the so-called Islamic "faith." The presence of Islam in the United States of America is therefore basically illegal. Whether or not the US legal system law recognizes this, Islam contains actively criminal elements under US and other nations' laws.

With regards to Muslim-American groups; their presence is basically illegal in this country despite the fact that this has not yet been recognized by the US legal system or admitted by Muslim-Americans themselves. These people are applying social and political pressure on behalf of al-Arian in large part because of their belief that Islam has the right to conduct violence against the unbelievers; al-Arian was an active supporter of Islamic terror networks (which is tantamount to perpetrating conspiracy to commit murder). Muslims usually become upset and hostile to America when Islam cannot kill due to US interference! Yet their attitude to America isn't much different the rest of the time we might note.

Every time Muslim-American groups open their mouths publicly I feel harassed and threatened because at least I personally know what they are up to. Everyone else in the US should know as much as I do and similarly feel harassed--because in fact the American people ARE being harassed by Islam on their own territory. Americans still do not know enough to realize they are being harassed and threatened by Muslim-Americans.

And worse is yet to come. If only the American people understood this!

They forgot to mention it would be the rats and cockroaches that are on the hunger strike in his cell.

Greetings in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ, Who saith unto us, “I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.”

Any belief system that teaches that some humans are superior to others and that the superior ones are permitted to (or are obligated to) kill the inferior ones, is obviously a threat and not of God. Anyone who subscribes to such a belief system, teaches it, or supports it deserves to be incarcerated.

That is brilliant! Advocating slavery, women's suffering, add to it stoning gays and adulterers, etc. For the part about slaying the unbelievers, state that as well, without mentioning your religion, or substitute say, Christianity for Islam. Yes, tell them that all those who don't believe in Christianity should be required to either convert, be fought against, or receive a second class status: in fact, just as the original constitution counted Blacks as 3/5 of a person, maybe put a unbeliever as 1/2 of a person (just like is done in Islam). And cite the source - Quran and Sunnah - when you are confronted about it.

tgusa - I've done something similar... I wrote up a "Sharia vs US Constitution" op/ed and sent printed copies to about 15 leaders of Congress, the President and vice-President, my Federal and local representitives... Glenn Beck and others via email.

I have a second set of people to send them along to and will get them out as soon as possible.

Maybe the op/ed could help your effort. Here's a link to it:
http://www.news.faithfreedom.org/index.php?name=News&file=article&sid=953

I hope that helps. I'm changing my strategy in 2007. For most of 2006 I sent op/eds and links to jihadwatch and other websites to my distribution list. I think I've sent enough. If the body of material I've sent to family & friends isn't enough by now it'll never be enough. Now I'm focusing on leaders: political, religious, social and so on.
