Iran's Revolutionary Guards: "The kidnapping of American citizens in the Middle East, Europe and South America is not difficult and can happen at any moment"

The Iranians may have already done so in Iraq. "Iran militia threatens to kidnap Americans," by Dudi Cohen for YNet News:

Iran’s Revolutionary Guards threatened to kidnap American soldiers and hinted at intentions to kidnap American citizens in Europe and South America as well.
The threat was apparently in response to President George W. Bush’s instruction to American soldiers in Iraq last week to target Iranian agents.
“The kidnapping of American citizens in the Middle East, Europe and South America is not difficult and can happen at any moment,” siad an article printed in the weekly Subah Sadak, which is considered the mouthpiece of the Revolutionary Guards in Iran.
The article, entitled “Easier and cheaper than Chinese merchandise”, was printed in response to the United Nations Security Council’s Resolution 1737, setting sanctions on Iran due to its refusal to suspend its nuclear program.
The threat may also be linked to the operation in which American forces kidnapped five Iranians from the Consulate General in Erbil in northern Iraq.

Actually, those Iranians were said to have had links to the Revolutionary Guard as well.

“The US prepared a most-wanted list, which includes senior Iranian officials whom they intend to kidnap to learn details about national, nuclear and military operations,” the article claimed.
'Current Iranian regime has offensive strategy'
The article further claimed that America had the names of 35 Iranian diplomats working at various embassies, who the White house suspects hold senior intelligence and security positions and have information on Iran’s nuclear and military capabilities.
Ali Saidi, a spokesperson for the Revolutionary Guards, noted, “Our enemies have many weak points, and we can cause them problems.”
In an interview with an Iranian news agency, Saidi said that contrary to the policy of previous governments, who employed passive and defense foreign policy, “The current Iranian regime has an offensive strategy.”

In all seriousness, when is the line going to be drawn as to how far a State run Islamic Regime can threaten the rest of the world?

we really do need a Mushroom cloud over a Western City to get the message , don't we? and even then some will say that we don't have justification.

Or they will say that it is an overreaction or a disproportionate response.

Of course, we all know that they will VERY, VERY, PEACEFULLY, kidnap and behead our soldiers and citizens.

And yes, we are all aware that all their strategy is always "offensive".

Time to step up the pressure on Iran. They've been given a pass for far too long!

Welcome back AIG.

Well after the last incident i don,t think you will get to many American soldiers allowing themselves to be taken alive.

Funny these American soldiers were murdered after capture and where is all the outrage from the world.

Haven't you heard? apparently only Muslims get treated unfairly.

Posted by: Concerned Canadian [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 1, 2007 3:30 AM

I've been watching a forum thread about the eight men that were detained in the raids in Birmingham on the Islamic Network site. I find it amusing that no muslim on the site is willing to condemn them in any way, shape, form, or fashion.

In other news, they posted a pdf book that mentions Robert Spencer on page 5. It's nice to be hated :p

Meaniemo, sometimes the clearest message is the quiet one. Those that live by terror...

When will the US finally stand up for itself against these tinpot tyrants? Do the Americans and those who govern them realisre that they have been shown up and treated like idiots by the Iranians for a full 28 years - that throughout that period, that regime has been responsible for the murder of hundreds, if not several thousand US troops and citizens through financing and encouraging terrorism? Sod what world opinion thinks. If world opinion wants you dead, then if you want to live and your values to endure, you have to treat it with the contempt it deserves. Isn't it long past time that this was finally put to an end and the brutal regime over there smashed to powder, just like placing a peanut on an anvil then smashing it with by a sledgehammer? It is now time to bring Ahmadinejad and the evil mullahs and ayatollahs to justice and redeem everything that has happened over those 28 long years, and prevent far worse in the future. Why are we pinning all our hopes on Netanyahu getting elected in Israel in the hope that the Israelis might do what we are currently unwilling to do, and the trouble is, Iran might well get the bomb before Netanyahu gets elected, and become a far more dangerous enemy.

The Iranians certainly have experience in kidnapping Americans. The Iranians have no fear of the US, after all,,Dhimmi Carter did nothing (except try to hang the Israelies with the heavy handed peace accord agreements)...

The message should be delivered,"Iran could be vaporized 'at any moment'"

I have not seen any reports on MSM TV about the anti-missile defense systems that the Russians are delivering to Iran nor the fact that the Russians are seriously contributing to the nuclear materials build up the Iranians are working on..I have seen very little in coverage on the possibility that the recent incident where the American soldiers were kidnapped and executed could have been at the hands of Iranian troops..

The Iranians are edging ever closer to conflict with the Western world and yet the MSM would have you believe it is our fault..You know, "If we would just leave them alone, all would be ok."

It has been known for some time that much of the terrorists weapons and explosive devices used in Irag come from Iran, yet the MSM does not pursue this information..The MSM prefers to announce (seemly gleeful in attitude)the death of American soldiers, show interviews with the fallen soldiers family and film the protests at the fallen soldiers funeral...disgusting..

The MSM should be showing the truth, Islam is seeking to destroy you...and Islam is here till the Death of either you or the Death of Islam...

Believe it...

A Bomb load from a B-1 for every Hostage, for every day they are held.

Looks like they are giving us reason not to have to wory about who the Hostage takers would be.

Kidnapping for ransom and hostage taking is traditional Mohammedan business.

Anybody surprised? This goes back 1350 years!

Whether during the times before or after the crusades, whether before, during or after the Barbary war's (Thomas Jefferson comes to mind: 'Everyting for defense, nothing for tribute..') Whether German tourists ransomed in Yemen or Swiss/Italian/Austrians in the Philipines or 120 Americans in the Iranian embassy in Teheran: These Islamo-swine have never done much else.

They only follow their religion: That's what Mohammed did and they are followers of this BS-ideology that justifies it...

Prove that it's not true, prove it!

Sure they mean SE-Asia, one of the main centers outside of middle east.

Once again the criminal regime in Tehran is being provocative. Either they enjoy sticking a finger in America's eye confident nothing will happen to them (as the last 28 years have shown) or they really want a war. If it's the latter I wonder what they have up their sleeve. It seems rather insane to provoke a war with the US unless they have some horrible plan to unleash as a response. In any event, the US had better quit playing games and ignoring the obvious because the window of opportunity will only keep closing as time goes on.

Get the media out of there and let our troops do what they do best. They will NEVER report on anything good we are doing, so what good are they doing us by being there?

Yet another threat and yet another reason to turn
Iran into a crater.
What more will it take ?
No grunts on the ground , do it from the air or
by remote control...NOW !

Sidearms for all military personnel 24/7, if they aren't hanging onto a rifle. I was approached about one of those contract truck driving jobs and my first question was if the civilian contractors are allowed to be armed over there and the answer is "NO", my reply was the same.
Now the "South America" escaped me at first, but if Venezeula or other countries are involved in kidknapping for Iran, the old and admittedly imperial Monroe Doctrine should come into effect, military rescue, and neuter whatever military or government installations that country has. The citizens are never the enemy, it's the government and it's loyal followers that is the problem, and if they won't try to resolve the matter internally what choice do we have. Will we be condemmned by the UN? What's new?

there no men with penises or testacies or women with vaginas or wombs left in Washington DC.

everyone is Washington is running scared of being called phobic or racist that they do nothing......

you can see the results of this across America.

until the federal government stands up and takes the war across the middle east, more and more Americans will be murdered.

God bless America, Israel, England, Canada, Australia, Darfur and our Fighting Forces across the world, keep us fee and give our politicians in Washington DC the balls and strength to save America.

The Texican.
God Family America and Freedom, the only choice at any cost.

Americans don't know who do be angry with. Probably a third blame Israel's dealings with the Arabs in their midst (the mythical palestinians) and various U.S. policies but they are clueless about jihad. Until the will of our people is focused and we become angry enough to really take the gloves off nothing will be accomplished except the pointless degradation of the fine military we still have. We are going to need a few more serious blows, deaths, kidnappings and extortions before we can all finally get on board.
As Snuffy Smith often said.." Times a wasten."

LAME CHERRY says
Seems quite fair and will get the message across and Hamas, Hezbollah, Syria and Pakistan will all start playing nice.
This is the only solution.
The problem with our ally in terror Pakistan is the let the terrorist regroup on the border area and do a very good act of the military trying to search them.
One nuke bomb on the border and most of terrorist will die and Pakistan will realise it cannot continue to play this double game or next N-bomb could be in the capital(goddamn it!!! i dont remember the name of paki capital city).

This is the only way the Muslims will relaise that their theory of violence will not work.
Give them a taste of their own medecine and let them taste how it sucks to kill.

THE need of the time is an USA-Europe-Israeli-Indian axis (or call it Christian-Jews-Hindu axis) to battle the cancer of Jihad becasue if not controlled now it will spread and spread and one day it may be too late.

In short all these religion dont hate each other, but Islam hates all these three religion and uniting is neccasry to fight the cancer
