Sudden jihad syndrome?

It's not something we can predict and, unlike Sudden Infant Death Syndrome, there's no preventive action we can take. That leaves but one option: bring back the insane asylum. Even a definition of latent jihad syndrome (it might occur at any moment) is grounds for committal.
If you're not willing to accept the consequences of your actions while under SJS, then you cannot be allowed to roam among people who want only to live in peace.

Is this Mohamed a Somali? Is the driver of the cab he kept ramming a Somali? Many of them in Minneapolia are. If so, maybe this is some extension of a clan feud. Or maybe the cabbie was paying too much attention to Mo's sister. Or maybe Mo was the enforcer for the Somali cabbies association, and the cabby had accepted one too many kaffirs with alcohol on them. Or maybe, as I suggested in a comment on the earlier article about this affair, Mo is a typical moslem mental case hearing a voice in his head and believing it's allah telling him to kill.

I'm sure he was outraged at something, depressed perhaps at the depravity of the US, out of sorts in the plenty, staggering success of the US, and couldn't take it anymore. "I'm mad as hell . . . and Mohamed's not going to take it anymore." No connection to Jihad? It would seem there are quite a few such incidents by adherants of the ROP?! Why would that be? Couldn't the psycho have been a Lutheran, Chasidic Jew, or devout Hindu??? just once.

The insanity plea is used in Egypt after 'a lone Islamic fruitcake' slices and dices his way through Copts, is used in Turkey when an Armenian newspaperman is slaughtered, and, of course, in America when an enraged, psychotic Jihadi hits and runs.

Sure, maybe it isn't Jihad Watch related, but I wouldn't bet on it. Worship of the ROP and the looney tune religion of grievances, troubled talk at the local mosque and the like . . . surely that doesn't help!

Yep, driving under the influence of Islam....need a new law. Depression doesn't cause you to kill others, it only causes you to kill yourself. Don't give me that crap he hasn't been taking his antidepressants, I quit that on my own and I never felt better ! Lord knows, they're too expensive !

Haq is charged with murder in the death of Pamela Waechter, 58, director of the Jewish Federation of Greater Seattle's annual fundraising campaign, and with five counts of attempted murder in the attack at the federation's downtown offices on July 28.

If convicted, Haq would face life in prison without parole. He also faces charges of kidnapping and malicious harassment, the state's hate-crime law.

Or when a Jihadi breaks into a Synogogue and commits murder like happened last summer in Seattle. "He was mentally ill", "On medication" no mention of the fact that the prepping the guy had included body shaving and other things that would be virtually impossible for one guy to do on his own. No we are supposed to believe these things are all isolated incidences carried out by a few fringe mental cases. NOT THAT DUMB HERE.

There may not be a specific connection to jihad, per se, but there is definitely a connection to the hatred and intolerance of the Other which Islamic culture inculcates -- a misoxeny* that at various times (particularly our own post-911 era) leads to such a degree of metastasizing and spiralling frustration at the power and success of the Infidel's Jahiliyya surrounding any given Muslim at any given time and place (particularly in the West), that the Muslim's bottled-up rage must find an outlet in violence. And it is a misoxeny that is directly related to the inspiration for, and goal of, the jihad doctrine of Islam.

The difference between the violent expression of the disgruntled non-Muslim postal worker who explodes one day by shooting up a post office, or the Nam vet who shoots up a McDonald's, and the Muslims who one day can't take it anymore is that the latter have the added encouragement of the violent commands of God himself in the context of a massive time-honored religious culture venerating those commands as literalistically applicable and inerrant for all time; while the former are only heeding the turbulent psychopathic messages arising out of a disturbed nihilism and self-loathing without the added benefit of God's and culture's imprimatur. THE need of the time is an USA-Europe-Israeli-Indian axis (or call it Christian-Jews-Hindu axis) to battle the cancer of Jihad becasue if not controlled now it will spread and spread and one day it may be too late.

In short all these religion dont hate each other, but Islam hates all these three religion and uniting is neccasry to fight the cancer

Well, if we were to classify Islam as a mental disorder, than I'd say "Yes, this man is mentally ill." There is just one problem. True sociopaths like Mohammed, Hitler, Stalin, John Wayne Gacy, Ted Bundy, the fictitious Hannibal Lecter are not "crazy." They are simply plain "evil." Evil, like good, is a human choice. Sociopaths do the things they do not because they don't understand what they are doing is wrong but because they enjoy them. It gives them pleasure. They are the ultimate sadists. Therefore, I'd say "No, this man isn't crazy. He is simply an evil man following his evil master, Mohammed. He does the things he does because he finds them pleasurable."

Stay happy, Infidel. To me the main point of the post is that two news reports didn't use the suspect's name. Also, it seems a pattern is developing....how many times now have muslims used the insanity plea ? Whether it be for mowing down others with a vehicle, blowing away several Jews, or beating one's wife or sister to death because she "dishonoured" the family - many muslim men have tried to plead insanity. Of course there's a good chance it will work, seeing as many muslims are insane. They must be, to follow the death cult ideology.

Bi-polars suffer from paranoia and are extremely impulsive behaviour regardless of their religious orientation. Feeding them with jihad ideology only makes them more likely to act out violently. You would have to have both for SJS to fully manifest.

Ah, yes. "Mentally ill and suffers from depression".

Oddly, this is exactly the same as the case of the San Francisco Bay Area SUV killer, Omeed Aziz Popal. Last Summer he ran down and killed a man in the suburb of Fremont, then calmly drove about 40 miles to the more target-rich city of San Francisco.

He hit over twenty people on a roughly three-mile long route, and tried to hit many more, even doubling back to try to strike those who had ventured out into the street to help his victims. His rampage ended--no doubt by sheer coincidence--outside the large Jewish Community Center on California Street.

It has been reported that his lawyers will claim that he is mentally ill. His family has already asserted as much.

According to several family members of victims present at his first hearing, one of the marks of his "mental illness" was ignoring the judge and praying audibly during the proceeding. I can think of factors other than "mental illness" to attribute these sort of behaviors to.
