Hundreds of weapons and a equipment for producing Qassam rockets found at a "Hamas-linked" university. By Ali Waked for Associated Press:
Palestinian security officers arrested at least five Iranian citizens during a raid at the Islamic University, a Hamas stronghold in Gaza City, a security official said. One of the Iranians committed suicide during the raid. Six to nine Palestinians were killed in the raid, sources said.
[...]
The raid on the Hamas-linked university in Gaza was carried out by national security forces affiliated with Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas. Hundreds of weapons and a lathe for the production of Qassam rockets were seized in the raid.
A Hamas official denied the claim and said there were no Iranian citizens at the university.

What shall we call that?
Little success for big threats?

There sure seems to be an epidemic of Iranians breaking out in the strangest of places lately. Perhaps it's time to find a cure of the source once and for all.

Retired senior Israeli intelligence officer and founder of MEMRI, Yigal Carmon and three of his colleagues are speculating that a regional war is likely to break out between now and Persian New Years on March 21. He bases his opinion on recent contacts between Saudi Arabia and Iran and Syria's activities as a spoiler in Lebanon and the Israel/PA.

also interesting, Kuwait's former minister of education criticizing Iran in a series of articles published in London-based Asharq Al-Awsat in Arabic.
Here's the money quote:
[...] Instead of attempting to solve the unemployment and poverty problems of its people, the new revolutionaries decided instead to 'export the revolution,' and in the process ended up stirring negative sentiments amongst its neighbors.
"After all, a revolution is not a commodity to import, but rather the creation of a new regime that sets an example to others. What the revolutionaries did in Tehran was a disaster rather than an example.

If only they'd kill those who formulate such policies. Instead, they kill a lot of innocent people.

How long have I been calling for an attack on Iran's nuclear facilities? Three years? I can't even keep track anymore.
I guess nothing will happen until thousands more Americans are dead on our own soil.
Lack of will is a pox on Western Civilization and it's being exploited by men like these Iranian agents at the direct order of hostile foreign powers. Last time I checked, these are acts of war.

Thank goodness for the reassurance from the Hamas official.
Now I can rest easy.
There assuredly can not be any Iranians provocateurs in Gaza.

I agree, foehammer. Political Correctness has paralyzed America. It will take another event similar to 9/11 to wake Americans up from their PC torpor. A shame, isn't it?
Europe is also paralyzed and has been for some time. Unfortunately, a large-scale event of Islamic destructive proportions is needed there too.

Iranian Officers Take Charge of Pali Army
The upside (!) of being perceived as weak and appeasing is the mask of your enemies falls away. Looking less formidable certainly brings the cockroaches out into the light of day. Why hide when there is nothing left to fear right? Which is why Iran has become increasingly brazen, threatening and open about its sponsorship of Syria, Hezbollah, Hamas and the Palis.
IRAN STEPS UP TRAINING OF HAMAS Middle East Newswire via RegimeChangeIran
Israeli officials said up to several hundred Hamas operatives have recently left the Gaza Strip for Iran. They said the operatives were undergoing several weeks of military training by Iran's Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. "The Hamas terrorists enter [Egypt's] Sinai Peninsula and then make their way to Syria and then Iran," an official said. "We have been detecting an increase in the flow of Hamas operatives leaving for Iran over the last two months." Hamas leaders have discussed expanding cooperation with Iran. In November, Palestinian Authority Interior Minister Said Siyam said Iran agreed to bolster training and funding to security forces aligned with Hamas.

The reality of "Asymmetrical Warfare" is that they are warring with us; and we are being at peace with them.

I believe I was kicked out of this forum about three to four years ago, for making such statements as:
"All Moslems read the same Koran. If you read and believe the Koran, then your religion states very clearly, to kill all infidels."
If you do not believe what the Koran says, much less act on the mandates of the Koran, you may call yourself a Moslem, but you are in truth...not.
For that reason, there are no "moderate" Moslems, because this concept does not exist. There are only people who wish they could leave Islam as their chosen religion, but cannot for many psychological, emotional, and cultural reasons. The number of Moslems who have left Islam can be counted on one hand and are insignificant when considering 1.6 billion Moslems on this planet.
We are just now waking up to the fact of how "denying" that Islam is the worst phenomena and religious lie to ever hit this planet...and just now beginning to recover from such perverse statements as George Bush and the talking heads on TV stating that "Islam is a religion of peace."
Yes, Islam will be a religion of peace once it has conquered the entire planet, which at this point it may do in the next 50 years.
Statistically, there is no such thing as a Moslem who does not believe that all infidels should be either subjugated in accordance with the Koran under the laws of Dimmi, or killed in the name of Allah if they resist.
I wish those who thought that Islam is a religion of peace, would just listen to a translation of the daily prayers of Moslems, and then decide for themselves if Islam is about peace.
Well, thank you for letting me post in this forum, I imagine I will be thrown out again, but the reality of the last five years is on my side, not yours.
I continue to believe that the only way we can save ourselves (the Western World) is to close the borders, deport all Moslems, and do what ever it takes to control Iraq and billions, no trillions of dollars in oil profits which would be used for the purposes of terrorism if we were not in Iraq.
If the US leaves Iraq it will be the end of the Western World as we know it. I said it five years ago, and it is more obvious now....that those who don't believe in winning wars, are doing nothing but embolding Islam and the anti-US forces found in our own country.
