I have to laugh at this guy Sumad when he says the authorities are "trying to make this out to be bigger than what it is". For gawds sake, his co-religionist was negotiating down the price of 300 hand grenades from $500 each to $400 each!

As far as the "explanation" given by Sumad that the weapons would be used for St. Louis gang "war", we're not talking about the Sharks vs. the Jets. We're talking Mujhadeen vs. the Infidel.

I'm stunned the primary perp, Abuelawi, had bond set so low. I wonder, who posted $50K to get him out pending trial. Maybe the local mosque has an emergency fund that can be drawn upon in cases like this.

What is this madness? He should have been interogated by the authorities and put on a flight in hand-cuffs back to Gaza. But he is roaming free, communicating to whomever he pleases and is a flight risk.

A claymore set off in a crowd of tightly packed people leaves an awful mess..(a claymore is an anti-personnel shaped explosive device packed with metal designed to kill) .. it is detonated by a wire led to a hand held device...The operator hides the explosive and then just waits for the target of choice to appear. He hits the button and BOOMM , whatever or whomever is in the face of the explosive is no more..

Hand grenades and Claymores....if your name was Billy Bob Johnson and you lived on a ridge and the FbI came looking for your because they suspected you had illegal explosives and weapons, they would attack you...If you did not die in the assault, you no doubt would get life in jail...

My impression is this:

Muslims are arming in this country. I see them at the gun stores handling firearms like they know what they're doing. They are at the gun ranges slinging rounds like monkeys. I know because I go myself. They are involved in paintball activities nation-wide. The National Paintball Association president is a Muslim. Muslim youth groups in this area go on outing to the ones here! I have never been on one with the BSA troop my son belons to!

I also believe that Mosques that are being built in the US may have armories within and possess quantites of weapons within. Most of the mosques that are going up in my city would make wonderful, using this term euphemistically, fortresses or citadels. They all have excellent defilade positions for firing on enfilade attacks.

Am I just being an alarmist? Why do I feel them assualting us on every level?

This is OT, but my children go to a private Episcopal school. Recently, we have had a large influx of Saudi students to the schoolas their parents work for a large Saudi petrofirm. The annual tutition is in the low five figures. Most of the Saudi sutdents have to have ESL instruction which has strained the faculty. Recently, a parent asked that his children not participate in any Christian events at school.

Many of the faculty conforms to a cultral relativistic weltenschaung to put it succinctly. They are pratically prostrating themselves to appease them.

Now it appears that there will be a meeting with the Saudi parents where no other parents will be allowed to attend. The pretext is that the school will try to explain and help the Saudi parents better understand the cultural differences and programs of the school.

What irks me is that this meeting will take place without the knowledge of the rest of the students parents. I am sure that the Saudi parents will put forth their agenda at the meeting, and we as English speaking parents will have no say in the decision making plans.

This appears to be some form of hudna or attempt at intellectual taqqiyah.

At the previous private school our children attended, many of the students were Pakistani. During the course of my children's time there, they manage to force the cultural observance of the "celebration of Ramadan" to, as they put it, counter the Hindi observance of Divali!

How will we escape this onslaught? Wherever you turn they are in assualt mode. It's like each one must complete a little Jihad to win brownie points with Allah.

Just feltt like venting where I might have some positive response. I welcome commments and criticism.

Saint Charles, MO is just about as white-bread and traditional a place as you could find in Middle America. It's also not a marginal place economically - it's solidly middle class and a very stable and desirable place to live by any measurement you care to look at.

Think also of how many stories you have read about “American muslims” traveling abroad to fight in various wars. Whether fighting alongside the Mujahideen in Afghanistan or Bosnia, Hamas or Hezbollah in Gaza, al Qaeda in Somalia, or anywhere else for that matter, a jihadist is a jihadist. They are comfortable with killing people. It is a bloodlust that only death will satisfy. The U.S. needs a colon cleansing and these parasites should be the top priority.

Another "non-terror" incident. Like the young man with the "arab-sounding" name last summer that blew himself into a cloud of mist outside the University of Oklahoma football game. No, that wasn't a terror related incident. He was a confused young man and chose to commit suicide while seated on a bench outside a football stadium filled with tens of thousand of spectators. It was still written off as a non-terror related event even after evidence was uncovered that he approached the main gate of the stadium several times apparently trying to muster the nerve to enter to carry out his act of murder. Still not related to terrorism after uncovering his connections with a mosque in Oklahoma City that has a reputation for its adherence to the ideals of jihad. Still unrelated after uncovering books, brochures and bomb making instructions and supplies inside his apartment. Nope, no links to terror, just like in this case. To tell you how far out of the picture most people are, I had a man (with a Phd.) today tell me because there have been no further attacks here at home, that proves the belief that there are very few Muslims who take to that side of Islam and that most components and beliefs of Islam are peaceful. No credit to the brave men and women fighting the war on terror at home and abroad, just take another drink of the kool-aid and believe Islam is peaceful and they mean us no harm, no harm, no harm, sip sip, no harm, no harm....
