I just got this email from MJ over at Heavy Stix, which sells Jihad Watch stickers and t-shirts. That site, by the way, was entirely MJ's idea and MJ's operation, and is up and running again after a brief down period -- I am not an owner or operator. I am, however, a supporter, and thank MJ for his efforts to raise awareness.
Anyway, here is MJ's email:
What do you think of holding a T-Shirt design contest to allow your readership a shot at designing the next batch? I could offer up as a prize a free T-Shirt and some stickers to the creator of the winning design; you might offer an autographed copy of The Truth About Muhammad.
Good idea, MJ. The Contest is hereby open: best usable slogan wins my biography of Abul Qasim (yes, that's Muhammad), duly autographed, plus a free Heavy Stix t-shirt and stickers. Note that I said SLOGAN -- don't send me any designs, as I don't open attachments. You can put your slogan entries in the comments field below. We'll work out the design later. All entries become the property of Jihad Watch, and Jihad Watch is the sole judge of the winners -- specifically, Hugh, Marisol, Anne, and I.

I like slogans to be very simple (keep it simple, stupid.....see?). One of your regular posters, I cannot remember which one, has a signature that reads "Know Islam, No Peace." I have always liked it, simple and short.

UPS delivered a fun dissemination tool to me last week.
I had 1000, 1 1/2" bright yellow, circle stickers printed with bold, red letters:

Quite good - particularly you last entry, "Mohammed hijacked Islam" (in the same vein as Mohammed the Islamo-Fascist). On your other suggestions, making Jihad an abbreviation was good, like borninfidel suggested above. Only thing - Infidels is a catch all, and definitely covers Hindus, Atheists/Agnostics and Dhimmis, while Christians and Buddhists are left out (unless you capture them under Infidels, in which case Jews should be covered as well.)
"Spot the pattern" is good, but seems like blaming the Muslims directly. I prefer the indirect way - "Everyone else is at fault" - just a dash of sarcasm thrown in.
I agree with another poster above - pick the top 20 (out of the 200+ so far), so that people will have a variety to choose from. Also, I wish Robert will overhaul the JihadWatch logo. Last year, when I got an acknowledgment of a contribution, I appreciated the gesture, but recoiled on seeing the green crescent&star on the envelope (a mailman could be forgiven for thinking that I was in correspondence with Jihadis). Surely JihadWatch can adapt a non-Islamic logo?

Malinois - That one is growing on me too for the front of the shirt. I also like the play off the Al Gore film and how it could potentially get the attention of liberals for that reason. But equal credit should go to d'infidel, who first proposed the essentials of the slogan in his/her 2/4 3:40 am post.
I am still a big fan of having a JW slogan on the front of the shirt and a DW slogan on the back (like "Nobody's Dhimmi", although hopefully there's noone actually named "Nobody" out there cause I don't want to be their dhimmi either!)
It seems important to keep in mind that one should feel physically safe wearing the shirt - picture your granny wearing it about town! (so perhaps a degree of ambiguity that creates curiosity is a good thing) and also that no one should misinterpret the slogan to suggest a pro-jihadi position. I found Infidel Pride's comment about the JW icon of the crescent interesting in that respect, especially recalling that Spencer was once questioned about the site he was perusing at an airport!

Just a general point:
I think it is a bad idea to have any sort of slogan that works only if you see both sides of the t-shirt. Most people either just see the front or the back, not both.
It's okay with different messages of each side, but they shouldn't depend on each other.
My favorite so far:

While I agree with your sentiments that a Jihad Watch t-shirt should be safe to wear, after the muslim reaction to the Danish cartoons and the Pope's comments, the only safe t-shirt is one that says nothing or is pro-muslim. Even a t-shirt that says nothing more than JihadWatch.Org or DhimmiWatch.Org would be inflammatory to some muslims.

As for those that are worried about wearing a t-shirt or displaying a bumber sticker, I can say from personal experience, all 4 cars in my family proudly display both jihadwatch bumper stickers and we have had them on our cars for a number of months now.
We live in large metropolitan area of the midwest, and along with the bumper stickers on our cars ,we also advertise our family bussiness with magnetic signs on our cars, and we have never been harrased, in fact we have had the opposite happen, people have come up to us to express their intrest in knowing more and/or to state that yes, they too agree that there is a problem. I supose the real test will be this summer when we go to Michigan in the suburbs of Detroit to attend the highland games, but I say bring it on!

A succinct and pithy saying that clearly shows the hypocrisy, illogic, and evil of Islam. But maybe too insulting (but it is indirect - doesn't even mention Islam).

Also nice, no mention of Islam or the murderous prophet directly.
5. GLOBAL JIHAD - The *REAL* Inconvenient Truth
This is catchy, but will probably unnecessarily alienate those who are concerned about global warming. We want libs on our side on this one.

This is a shorter version of my submission above, has extra impact because of it's somewhat obvious application to Islamists from the words of Jesus.

Again, a direct attack on Islam maybe not the smartest thing, but it is catchy and true in many of our opinions.

Voltaire - I mean that the first two defeats for Islam (732, 1683) were just a warm up for us, this time it's for real and Islam will be destroyed altogether. I was specifically refering to US laws which is based on "three strikes and you're out". The punishment the third time is far worse than the first two, as I understand it. So if Islam strikes a third time... they're out.
