Hi, I appreciate your views there is truth in them but remember I feel that sometimes people on this website sound worse than they should, people are starting to sound like the people they don't like. We should try and be less aggressive written about people on here we don't want to sound like a Jihad’s.
Yes it's ok to write about the stories in shame but by using personal attacks on people a website like this will lose it's credibility. I just do not like it when people refer other people as something nasty and if there is another way within what they have written then use that and the language that will sound less offensive.

Its not just you Lame cherry but all people here, this website will just be turned or seen into a racist nest either by those who pass by or by exploiting it and giving other people here a bad name.

Try telling your Muslim family and friends that you've decided to convert to Christianity, and justify your conversion with the above Quarnic quotation "To you your religion and to me mine"- Quran. And then see if "that's ok" with them.

And then see how "satisfying simple, harmonious way" your life is after that.

But plan on going into hiding for fear for your life, especially if you live in an Islamic society.

You can't possibly be that detached from reality.

Remember Iraq had a 360 degree aim of hatred at its surrounding nations, in the 90's there was the supergun they were trying to build, parts were transported from the UK even without knowing what for. The problem was Saddam made everyone his enemy including his own people that could be arrested for saying anything against him. He used children to spy on their parents and ask them if they said anything wrong about him. Some families run away out of fear. It was not a war just about oil but againsts a terror system that only the Romans would be proud of if not admire, but the problem was that this is year 2000+ how long is the world going to put up with barbaric systems that went out of fashion over a thousand years ago? It was a worldly concern like Iran now that could once again bring instability to the middle east.

While this may be true for other writers, Hugh is most meticulous in regards to his use of the English language. This is to his credit. My earlier comment was a gentle gibe at Hugh for his tendency to offer an essay when an epigram would suffice.

This comment does not apply to me. I am a carpenter by trade. The only PhD I own is a Post Hole Digger.
