Sharia chic video

ShariaChic.jpg

I've been a bit under the weather this week, but the Jihad Watch videoblog goes on; Bryan Preston kindly and ably delivers my Sharia Chic script at Hot Air today.

really, do you take fashion that seriously?
it's art.
it's shapes and designs that make an impact.
in this case it's mocking ME garb. bravo.

isn't Louise Goldin a Jew?

Who is the spirit in the picture? That of next Christmas?

It would be advised not to do your banking in that get up.

It's been said that everyone has their price . . .and the fashion industry sold out.

Bottom line, this will cost them more than they wish to know.

balaclava? militant? with a bra?
strong fashion statement?

Posted by: sectionOne [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 15, 2007 10:21 AM

That outfit would get attention. Isn't the idea of a burka to AVOID attention.

I mean, really, you can see the outline of breasts. That HAS to be a no-no.

Don't overlook the marks underthe eyes - as if to imitate a shiner - obviously, the "designer" knows the real deal.

Bryan Preston oooozes the Hubba Hubba Factor.

'Speedy recovery' Robert.

I really don't think that this was a fashion show to sell new ideas to muslim women.
instead now everyone can be hip like muslim women and hide their hair and face while wearing a smart clingy knit dress to work or play.
don't we all want to have the mysterious sensual conceilment that muslim women enjoy?

Looks like the designer reads too many science fiction comic books.

The picture doesn't invoke an appreciation of hidden beauty or glamour at first glance. Instead, this sharia chic prompts scenarios involving ninjas or bank robbers, neither of which involves my natural attraction to feminine beauty or sex appeal.

In other words, I don't get off on ninja / bank robbery fantasies.

"In other words, I don't get off on ninja / bank robbery fantasies."

My lips were moving but you said it before I could, Plague. The sick thing is though, there is a fetish for this type of dress I'll wager. Ever seen those bondage get-ups where the woman is completely covered and bound in black leather? Think "Silence of the Lambs."

I first saw these "fashions" on the "Drudge Report" and was shocked, completely shocked. I e-mailed the designer and told her she should be ashamed of herself. How incomprehensible and reprehensible.

Will Bryan Preston be the regular stand-in whenever you are under the weather? How about Hugh or Greg?

Posted by: Infidel Pride [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 15, 2007 4:09 PM

Also, Bryan, what's with the wasssallam alai qum?

Posted by: Infidel Pride [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 15, 2007 4:09 PM

Sorry for so many successive posts, but the model above looks like a crusader - that chin covering armor was just what the crusaders, like Godfrey de Buillon or Richard Choer de Lion wore.

Oops

Ain't nothing "chic" about this costume.

Posted by: champ [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 15, 2007 4:23 PM

SICK not CHIC
