Professor at Kent State University running Jihad web site

"Are You Prepared for Jihad?" IN THE NAME OF OBL. 2007: THE YEAR OF ISLAMIC VICTORY!" "OBL" -- you know who that is. Talk of "Crusaders" and praise for suicide bombers. Run by a Kent State prof.

"Me and Julio Down by the Schoolyard," by Mike S. Adams (thanks to all who sent this in):

Yesterday afternoon, I logged on to the "Global War" blog (global-war.bloghi.com) of Associate Professor Julio Pino – a Muslim convert who teaches at Kent State University. The heading for the site used to read "The Worldwide Web of Jihad: Daily News from the Most Dangerous Muslim in America." Now it reads "Are You Prepared for Jihad?" IN THE NAME OF OBL. 2007: THE YEAR OF ISLAMIC VICTORY!"

Hardly able to believe what I was reading, I called Pino at his office in Ohio around 4 p.m. According to his secretary, he had not been at work that day (he only has office hours two days of the week). He was drawing a paycheck from the people of the State of Ohio while trying to launch a Jihad against people like me. In fact, just five minutes before I called he posted an entry under the title "Crusaders Can’t Take Anymore in Afghanistan!"

Pino began his morning of not going into his office at Kent State by penning a post under the title “Frightened British Crusaders Rush More Troops to Occupied Afghanistan.” Using terms like “occupation” and “Crusaders” it isn’t really necessary to read these posts in order to ascertain who this employee of the State of Ohio is rooting for in the War on Terror.

But, just in case you were curious about the purpose of this site, it is provided in the upper right corner: "We are a jihadist news service, and provide battle dispatches, training manuals, and jihad videos to our brothers worldwide. All we want is to get Allah’s pleasure. We will write ‘Jihad’ across our foreheads, and the stars. The angels will carry our message throughout the world."

There is also an "Oath of Freedom" in the upper right corner: "We were born free. We will live freely and when death comes to us, we will die freely. Jihad is changing all that can be changed; freeing ourselves through our own efforts; and the conviction that truth will prevail, inshallah."

Under the entry "Sister Detonates Herself to Eliminate Shia Traitors" there is a description of a female suicide bomber who recently killed 41 people. Just in case you wondered how the host of the site feels about the suicide bomber, the next line tells you: "Now she lies on the Golden Couch of Paradise."

UPDATE: More on Pino here.

I think we should tread cautiously though both are worthy of scorn independently.

Tenure is an idea whose time has come, and gone. But it should have particularly gone for those who, in 1942, had swastika flags draped on their office wallls, and who might have spent spring vacation visiting Fritz Kuhn in jail, There is a limit. This Pino should be fired, and it should be done not by those who will simply be crude know-nothings, but clever know-everythings, so that the ACLU does not get to have its promised field-day. The state of Ohio does not have to pay the salary of someone who identifies with those who are against, not merely the State of Ohio, but against all the legal and political institutions, and social arrrangements, of this country.

Contrary to what fifth-graders think, the phrase "This is a free country" is not the end of political discussion. How this is a free country, why this is a free country, the reasonable and even admirable and certainly necessary limits on the individual freedoms that this free country guarantees, all this has to be understood.

And Pino has to conduct his Jihad elsewhere. I suggest Gaza. Or possibly Fallujah. Or perhaps --why not -- answer one of those ads, for one of those dismal "universities" in Kuwait or the U.A.E. or even in Saudi Arabia, where one can teach English as a second language, or do whatever it is that expatriates do, as no doubt well-paid wage slaves for the rich Arabs. "Money can buy everything -- except civilization" is how one Franco-Armenian summed up for me his years in Saudi Arabia.

Pino will not, alas, be able to take part in any mission civilisatrice. After all, he voluntarily embraced the mental straitjacket of Islam, has voluntarily adopted the habit of mental submission. But the Saudis will find a use for him, no doubt. Perhaps just as an example: the Infidel "Revert" who was attracted by the harmony, the goodness, the essential rightness of Islam. Put him on display, and let him tour Saudi Arabia. But get him off the Ohio State payroll. There is a limit to what taxpayers should be expected to endure.

And if Kent State turns out to be a private university, then its Trustees have even less of a First Amendment problem. They can regulate speech at a private university however they choose. The AAUP (the American Association of University Professors) has no legal -- and by now little moral authority -- to argue otherwise.

Isn't the idiotic war to bring "freedom" to "ordinary moms and dads" in the Middle East enough squandering? If Americans are, as Bush and Bush loyalists like to say, "fighting them over there so we won't have to fight them over here" then what are we going to do with the likes of Professor Pino -- who happens to be "fighting the Jihad right here," that is, aiding and abetting "them," right in Ohio.

What?

Oh, get real. A Bosnian terrorist can go into a shopping mall in Salt Lake City, shout 'allahu akhbar' and mow down people and that's NOT of any 'real concern' to the FBI so why should this be?

Posted by: poetcomic1 [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 28, 2007 2:21 PM

Sir Hugh is absolutely correct.....and I agree...

Posted by: exsgtbrown [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 28, 2007 2:30 PM

yes! Diversity Departments are being formed in many universities who don't already have one.
This is as dangerous as some professors because they usually hook up for the "cause" and make a little network.
while it is almost a legal necessity these days to have a Diversity Department they are being infiltrated and exploited by weak administrators who lack terrorism education.
keeping our schools safe is essential!!!

This Professor Pino's "jihadist website" may be an FBI false-flag "sting" operation in progress.

http://asmalldoseofreality.bloghi.com/2006/04/09/fbi-running-muslim-sting-operation-through-kent-state-university-associate-professor-julio-assad-jibril-pino.html

Note that while Professor Pino is an actual person, there is no actual link from the website back to him. The photo given of "Professor Pino" on the website doesn't match the real Professor Pino's face.

And the rest of the website sure looks way over the top to me. The genuine jihadist websites I've seen are full of quotes from the Muslim sacred texts and quotes from various Muslim religious authorities down through history. This one is not.

The idea may be to set up a false-flag website to try to entrap radical Muslims who might be enticed into "joining my jihad."

So let's not jump the gun on this one. If it's an FBI sting operation, the more we publicize it to outraged non-Muslims, the less effective it will be.

Of course the F.B.I. is concerned! They know better than you or I just how infiltrated we are by Islamonazis! I promise you, the crew-cutted, very straight, very clean-cut feds have families just like the rest of us. The fact that they choose to seal details from the public about jihadi actions is based on a calculated risk threat. I don't agree with it, but I'm not misled.

Calling on the fbi means your heart is in the right place and you've fulfilled your obligation as a citizen (in the America that used to be) and little else.

The fbi's role is continuity of government and protecting the bureau. They are a paramilitary arm of government. They follow orders.

bush al-saud has given the fbi and others strict orders that there is no [muslim] terrorism. That's why we continually see two things.

1. The fbi and/or federal prosecutors declaring "there's no indication of terrorism" every time a muslim terrorist shotguns people at a mall, murders Jews in an office building, suicide bombers blow up outside stadiums, and airplane tails fall off like AA587.

2. tony snowjob loudly proclaiming "there have been no [muslim] terrorist incidents since 9-11 thanks to george bush."

This is probably the most jaded thing I'll ever write here, but... I suspect that the FBI is more likely to investigate those who alert them to the jihadi website than to anything Professor Pina says or does. After all, isn't "Islamophobia" the more dangerous threat to America? That's what the mainstream American media would have us believe.

alexon,
I've sent many messages to the F.B.I. alterting them about Jihadi activities in the U.S.A.

So far, no one has investigated me. If they do, I will invite them to my house and we will sit together and read from my abundant library of Jihadi texts:

Koran, Sunna, Sira.

I can help them understand that the Jihad threat is woven into the DNA of Islam. I can help them with the concept of abrogation, the Meccan and Medina Mohammad, difficulties in Arabic, etc. Maybe they'll hire me.

I'll keep you posted.

With anti-Americanism amok in all quarters of the country (the Oscars the latest example), we'll be reading these 3 words a lot more in the years to come.

2:216 * 4:74 * 9:111 * 8:12 * 4:96 * 56:22 * 38:51 * 55:56 * 56:22 * 8:74 * 9:2 * 5:50

... this (obviously nutty) professor...

It is greatly to their advantage to call outspoken Moslems crazy. So much so that they themselves play this card all the time. This can go one of two ways:

1) Islam is itself insane, and thereby all Moslems by self-definition are insane in some form and to some degree.

or

2) Islam is fine but it is an insane act to accurately speak out on behalf of Islam's ideal and goals, because they're supposed to be kept quiet until the conquest is completed.

I prefer the former, but apologists for Islam prefer the latter.

call about 2:30 a.m. Tuesday triggered the chain of events. That's when officers responded to the Butler-Carlton Civil Engineering Building about a possible "terrorist-type situation," said Rolla Police Chief Mark Kearse.

There, Kearse said, officers found a student with a knife who held up a bag and claimed to have a bomb. The student, ...22, also said he had anthrax.

The campus officers used a stun gun to subdue the student, and they arrested him.

The substance turned out to be sugar.

...Officers found a note that suggested he might have been trying to get police to kill him...

Bill Jenks, the mayor of Rolla, described Venkatramolla as "depressed and upset — he's had some problems." (like Joel Heinrichs III in OK)

You have that exactly right. And you'ld better damn well NOT be a heterosexual, white, Christian male.

Remember all the public government statements after 9-11 about how muslim terrorists were going to be rooted out of our midst? About how our peaceful American co-existence of Jews and Christians would be protected? Of course not, neither did I.

What I did hear over and over was how any "backlash" would be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law, about how "civil rights" and "hate crime" laws would be rigorously pursued with low burden of proof.

They weren't kidding then and they're not kidding now.

Illegal alien muslim terrorists have a plethora of "civil rights" and "social justice" groups and lawyers amply funded by terror sponsoring countries that will defend them. Worse, these same groups and countries have the full ear of al-bush and federal law enforcement.

What does Joe Whitey, citizen, have?

I wonder if Julio is aware of the following:

The National Sporting Goods Association calculates there are 20.6 million active hunters in the U.S. The Outdoor Industry Association's latest estimate surpasses 26 million. And in a new survey commissioned by the National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) and conducted by the firm Responsive Management, 19 percent of Americans - more than 56 million people - said they've hunted in the past two years.

This isn't Spain. This isn't France, nor even Londonistan. This is the USA, and we are armed to the teeth. I think the sooner Julio and his fellow Muslims begin their domestic "jihad", the sooner they'll understand the true significance of the figures I've quoted.

One never completely learns Arabic. I am a student of Arabic for many years. It helped that I lived in Israel as a teenager and very thoroughly mastered the Hebrew I was taught at length as a child.

There are three languages in Arabic: The classical Arabic of Koran, the Modern Standard Written Language of newspapers and books, etc. and the spoken dialects. I have a good knowledge of all three but I am and will always be a mere student.

Remember when American Patriots prepared to deploy to the border simply to observe illegal alien and terrorists crossings and then report that? What did our filthy traitor president publicly call them, even before the fact???!!!

VIGILANTES!

Make no mistake, the government will deliver a crushing blow to any citizens who decide to take up hunting. Remember Ruby Ridge? Waco? Child's play for the government. And don't forget the 100,000+ troops with fresh urban combat experience who will be back sooner than later.

Posted by: Arm A. Geddon [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 28, 2007 5:48 PM

It's amazing how the FBI forgot about Waco and the rest in domestic terrorism, but now, it appears since J.Edgar Hoover died, they don't have any power at all ? I think they only go for domestic Baptist and Methodist who think bad about America, while the terrorist are allowed to run free.

I liked Hirsi Ali's comment on Bill Maher when she wondered why we attacked Afghanistan after 9/11 when most of the hijackers were Saudis, but hey, money talks.
Getting back to topic, this prof makes me want to sing:
If you like Pino colada
And getting caught by the feds in the rain,
If you're teaching at Kent State
And don't have half a brain.
If you like plotting jihad at midnight..

Most likely, she won't have much room. With all the guys getting 72 virgins each, and the women getting pretty much nothing, it's gonna get crowded on that stinking couch.

Why, good muslims naturally!

Islamic scum spreading in the Europe and USA Canada and the rest of the free world. Stand up against these new nazis now friends. sending email to fbi is a good start I hope that all of us here and likeminded people reading this spread the news of what islam is all about. I bought a few more spencer books from Amazon and sent them to some politicians. I think eventually the libreal media needs to be toppled its too filled with useful idiots --useful to Islam. I encourage everybody to form anti islam blogs and write to papers, send out literature. Because soon when we are fighting against these scum in our own streets (like Paris) it will be too late for words by that time we will be too busy loading our weapons and telling our kids to 'pass the ammo'. Islam is ABOUT having allegiance only to the quran and a caliph to establish --they do NOT make good citizens. This is NOT about race or even religion (because Islam is not exactly a religion now is it). Its about a new form of Nazism more potent and insidious than the last.
Stand up and be counted friends.

Wait till capnbob finds out that this Jihadi from Kent State has his Acquire this Tribute in memory of 9/11 widget on his blog. I learned from Little Green Footballs, that a Kent State Associate Professor Julio Pino is running a freelance Jihadi information blog. To the displeasure of Diggocrats, this gives us yet another important story from the right wing blogs. I spent several hours reading through the blog, and called Kent State President Lester Lefton’s office, to inform them of this development. His secretary said that they had just learned of it, and would be making a public statement shortly. They had not seen the blog, so I gave them the address. http://www.globalconservative.com/#*Call_to_Freelance_Jihad_at_Kent_State

Sadly, this vicious professor is not alone in the panoply of American universities. If we ever have another civil war precipitated by the growing polarization over our war against Islamic jihad, rest assured that some good, armed citizens will be coming for professors like him. The Left will richly deserve that kind of end...

Posted by: FredIsinglass [TypeKey Profile Page] at February 28, 2007 9:23 PM

Excellent work Madcap! Hard to believe that the Kent admin is only now finding out about the professor's 'extracurricular' activities if his writings have been out there for some time now.

DebV, undoubtedly the mainland Chinese have their problems and shortcomings. Certainly they are an authoritarian State and that's bad. Yes they have government media with one point of view. Basically we have media with one dominant view too I'm sorry to say. Ever switch back and forth between ABC, CBS, and NBC on the nightly news?

"Those bastards would sell out to ANYONE, Iran, North Korea, whoever, for the almighty buck."

Sounds like the same problem we have here in the U.S.

"If it wasn't for the muzbots, I'd say China is the world's biggest threat to mankind's survival with all their unbridled procreation and pollution."

Well, this site is about the threat of Islamic Supremacy not the threat of Communist China. Hopefully we can agree about that.

By-the-way, the mainland Chinese have their own problems with Islamic subversion on their western flank. I'll bet they deal with it more effectively than we can here. I'm not endorsing that kind of State authority but if comes down to a matter of survival then all bets are off. The problem we have here, unlike the Chinese, is that the people in charge of our State don't seem to care much whether the nation survives or not. At least the Chinese are patriots.

Furthermore, the vast majority of "Orientals" as you put it, who come here, are law-abiding, tax-paying, contributing members of our society who want to assimilate and become good citizens, which is more than can be said of a lot of native-born folks who don't do diddly-squat for their country.

What's this thread about again?

"Sadly, this vicious professor is not alone in the panoply of American universities." --FredIsinglass

Exactly right, unfortunately. The American left, which has seized control of our institutions of higher learning, gives aid and comfort to Supremacist Islam because they've found a movement which hates America as much as they (the leftists) do. It truly is, as David Horowitz puts it, "An Unholy Alliance."

JewDog, nice spoof on a great tune.I believe that song is called "escape' ,maybe it's the 'pina colada' song.I believe it's the first and the latter is in parenthases on the c.d. or jukebox.no matter, sorry i got in a rut there.

Any way i used to have a boat that i named 'escapn'. I have lived here on the river for over 12 yrs.In the summer we have an event called the great Raft off.Large boats anchor off into the shallowest as possible water with smaller and other larger boats tied to eachother. You can walk from most boats, well wade, like a street. There are also ski jets scurrying to and fro to hitch rides on to visit any boat you choose. One year the event made it into the guiness book of world records with well over 100 boats, closer to 200.But i just thought about this because this was my theme song for the event. The event was great all the way around because they were some of my best memories and it was a charitable event for childrens needs.

long story short thanks for the flash back.It puts it into perspective of why i visit this room and why we have to fight back to keep the ability to keep creating more of these flashbacks and to allow our future families and thiers the same right.

I agree that relying on the Chinese government or the Russian government for any help on the Jihad front is a foolish hope. Both of those governments would like to see the U.S. taken down a notch or two, and figure that a war against Jihad will slow down our defense spending on the high tech weapon systems used in more traditional symmetrical warfare.

The problem the U.S. has is that there are all sorts of free riders---countries that don't want Jihad to win, but countries that want us the bare the bront of the conflict.

Much of Europe falls in to a less extreme version of that category. China and Russia will continue to drive us crazy with their ME dealings.

Time to wake up now. For too long we have allowed hatred to be disguised as "moral indignation". Imams from around the world need to have a public debate with people like Robert, and PROVE that islam is a religion of peace, SHOW US that the koran does not incite hatred and murder, that women ARE equal and that the crusades were NOT lanched by pope Urban II in response to 400 years of islamic invasion.

It should be simple for muslims to prove their religion is not violently supremacist, the information they need is all in one place, the koran. All they would have to do when Robert says that the koran incites hatred towards other peoples and religions is to say to him "Prove it, show me this imaginary statement in the koran that says this".

So, all muslims, it's simple, we can stop all of this "islamophobia" by just showing everyone that there is NOTHING in the koran or the life of mohammed that suggests anything other than peace. Simple eh?

"It is time to send the National Guard back to Kent State."

...interesting....back then, the students were clearly anti-American, protesting the Vietnam involvement, government control, and generally supporting every anti war speaker they could find....apparently their professors back then are still there....

Anti American professors in American institutions of learning may offer different opinions, but I don't like them...

a quote from the Neal Boortz commencement speech has some information regarding "diversity"

"First – that favorite buzz word of the media, government and academia: Diversity!

You have been taught that the real value of any group of people - be it a social group, an employee group, a management group, whatever - is based on diversity. This is a favored liberal ideal because diversity is based not on an individual's abilities or character, but on a person's identity and status as a member of a group. Yes – it's that liberal group identity thing again.

Within the great diversity movement group identification - be it racial, gender based, or some other minority status - means more than the individual's integrity, character or other qualifications.

Brace yourself. You are about to move from this academic atmosphere where diversity rules, to a workplace and a culture where individual achievement and excellence actually count. No matter what your professors have taught you over the last four years, you are about to learn that diversity is absolutely no replacement for excellence, ability, and individual hard work.

From this day on every single time you hear the word "diversity" you can rest assured that there is someone close by who is determined to rob you of every vestige of individuality you possess.

We also need to address this thing you seem to have about "rights." We have witnessed an obscene explosion of so-called "rights" in the last few decades, usually emanating from college campuses.

You know the mantra: You have the right to a job. The right to a place to live. The right to a living wage. The right to health care. The right to an education. You probably even have your own pet right - the right to a Beemer, for instance, or the right to have someone else provide for that child you plan on downloading in a year or so.

Forget it. Forget those rights! I'll tell you what your rights are! You have a right to live free, and to whatever wealth you are able to produce with your labor. I'll also tell you have no right to any portion of the life or labor of another.

You may think, for instance, that you have a right to health care. After all, Hillary said so, didn't she? But you cannot receive health care unless some doctor or health practitioner surrenders some of his time - his life - to you. He may be willing to do this for compensation, but that's his choice. You have no "right" to his time or property. You have no right to his or any other person's life or to any portion thereof.

You may also think you have some "right" to a job; a job with a living wage, whatever that is. Do you mean to tell me that you have a right to force your services on another person, and then the right to demand that this person compensate you with their money? I can't wait for you to point that one out for me in our Constitution. I sure would like to be a fly on the wall when some urban outdoorsmen (that would be "homeless person" for those of you who don't want to give these less fortunate people a romantic and adventurous title) came to you and demanded his job and your money.

The people who have been telling you about all the rights you have are simply exercising one of theirs - the right to be imbeciles. Their being imbeciles didn't cost anyone else either property or time. It's their right, and they exercise it brilliantly.

By the way, did you catch my use of the phrase "less fortunate" a bit ago when I was talking about the urban outdoorsmen? That phrase is a favorite of the Left. Think about it, and you'll understand why.

To imply that one person is homeless, destitute, dirty, drunk, spaced out on drugs, unemployable, and generally miserable because he is "less fortunate" is to imply that a successful person - one with a job, a home and a future - is in that position because he or she was "fortunate." The dictionary says that fortunate means "having derived good from an unexpected place." There is nothing unexpected about deriving good from hard work. There is also nothing unexpected about deriving misery from choosing drugs, alcohol, and the street instead of education and personal responsibility.

If the Left can create the common perception that success and failure are simple matters of "fortune" or "luck," then it is easy to promote and justify their various income redistribution schemes. After all, we are just evening out the odds a little bit, aren't we?

This "success equals luck" idea the liberals like to push is seen everywhere. Democratic presidential candidate Richard Gephardt refers to high-achievers as "people who have won life's lottery." He wants you to believe they are making the big bucks because they are lucky; all they did was buy the right lottery ticket. What an insult this is to the man or woman who works that 60 hour week to provide for a family.

It's not luck, my friends. It's choice. One of the greatest lessons I ever learned was in a book by Og Mandino, entitled "The Greatest Secret in the World." The lesson? Very simple: "Use wisely your power of choice."

That bum sitting on a heating grate, smelling like a wharf rat? He's there by choice. He is there because of the sum total of the choices he has made in his life. This truism is absolutely the hardest thing for some people to accept, especially those who consider themselves to be victims of something or other - victims of discrimination, bad luck, the system, capitalism, whatever. After all, nobody really wants to accept the blame for his or her position in life. Not when it is so much easier to point and say, "Look! He did this to me!" than it is to look into a mirror and say, "You S.O.B.! You did this to me!"

The key to accepting responsibility for your life is to accept the fact that your choices, every one of them, are leading you inexorably to either success or failure, however you define those terms.

Some of the choices are obvious: Whether or not to stay in school. Whether or not to get pregnant. Whether or not to hit the bottle. Whether or not to keep this job you hate until you get another better-paying job. Whether or not to save some of your money, or saddle yourself with huge payments for that new car.

Some of the choices are seemingly insignificant: Whom to go to the movies with. Whose car to ride home in. Whether to watch the tube tonight, or read a book on investing. But, and you can be sure of this, each choice counts. Each choice is a building block - some large, some small. But each one is a part of the structure of your life. If you make the right choices, or if you make more right choices than wrong ones, something absolutely terrible may happen to you. Something unthinkable. You, my friend, could become one of the hated, the evil, the ugly, the feared, the filthy, the successful, the rich.

Quite a few people have followed that tragic path.

The rich basically serve two purposes in this country. First, they provide the investments, the investment capital, and the brains for the formation of new businesses. Businesses that hire people. Businesses that send millions of paychecks home each week to the un-rich.

Second, the rich are a wonderful object of ridicule, distrust, and hatred. Few things are more valuable to a politician than the envy most Americans feel for the evil rich.

Envy is a powerful emotion. Even more powerful than the emotional minefield that surrounded Bill Clinton when he reviewed his last batch of White House interns. Politicians use envy to get votes and power. And they keep that power by promising the envious that the envied will be punished: "The rich will pay their fair share of taxes if I have anything to do with it.'

The truth is that the top 10% of income earners in this country pays almost 50% of all income taxes collected. I shudder to think what these job producers would be paying if our tax system were any more "fair."

You have heard, no doubt, that in America the rich get richer and the poor get poorer. Interestingly enough, our government's own numbers show that many of the poor actually get richer, and that quite a few of the rich actually get poorer. But for the rich who do actually get richer, and the poor who remain poor ... there's an explanation -- a reason. The rich, you see, keep doing the things that make them rich; while the poor keep doing the things that make them poor.

Speaking of the poor, during your adult life you are going to hear an endless string of politicians bemoaning the plight of the poor in America. So, you need to know that under our government's definition of "poor" you can have a $5 million net worth, a $300,000 home and a new $90,000 Mercedes, all completely paid for. You can also have a maid, cook, and valet, and $1 million in your checking account, and you can still be officially defined by our government as "living in poverty." Now there's something you haven't seen on the evening news.

How does the government pull this one off? Very simple, really. To determine whether or not some poor soul is "living in poverty," the government measures one thing -- just one thing. Income. It doesn't matter one bit how much you have, how much you own, how many cars you drive or how big they are, whether or not your pool is heated, whether you winter in Aspen and spend the summers in the Bahamas, or how much is in your savings account. It only matters how much income you claim in that particular year. This means that if you take a one-year leave of absence from your high-paying job and decide to live off the money in your savings and checking accounts while you write the next great American novel, the government says you are 'living in poverty."

This isn't exactly what you had in mind when you heard these gloomy statistics, is it?

Do you need more convincing? Try this. The government's own statistics show that people who are said to be "living in poverty" spend more than $1.50 for each dollar of income they claim. Something is a bit fishy here. just remember all this the next time Peter Jennings puffs up and tells you about some hideous new poverty statistics.

And please remember this: The average person in this country described as "poor" has a higher standard of living than the average European. Not the average "poor" European, the average European.

Why has the government concocted this phony poverty scam? Because the government needs an excuse to grow and to expand its social welfare programs, which translates into an expansion of its power. If the government can convince you, in all your compassion, that the number of "poor" is increasing, it will have all the excuse it needs to sway an electorate suffering from the advanced stages of Obsessive-Compulsive Compassion Disorder.

Well, it looks like I'm about to be given the hook. The faculty looks a little angry. I'll bet they've already changed their minds about that honorary degree I was going to get. That's OK, though. I still have my Ph.D. in Insensitivity from the Neal Boortz Institute for Insensitivity Training. I learned that, in short, sensitivity sucks. It's a trap. Think about it - the truth knows no sensitivity. Life can be insensitive. Wallow too much in sensitivity and you'll be unable to deal with life, or the truth. So, get over it.

Now, before the dean has me shackled and hauled off, I have a few random thoughts.

You need to register to vote, unless you are on welfare. If you are living off the efforts of others, please do us the favor of sitting down and shutting up until you are on your own again. To the welfare class I say that we're taking care of you we would appreciate if if you would just stay out of our way so we can get the job done.

When you do vote, your votes for the House and the Senate are more important than your vote for president. The House controls the purse strings, so concentrate your awareness there.

Liars cannot be trusted, even when the liar is the president of the United States. If someone can't deal honestly with you, send them packing.

Don't bow to the temptation to use the government as an instrument of plunder. If it is wrong for you to take money from someone else who earned it -- to take their money by force for your own needs -- then it is certainly just as wrong for you to demand that the government step forward and do this dirty work for you.

Don't look in other people's pockets. You have no business there. What they earn is theirs. What your earn is yours. Keep it that way. Nobody owes you anything, except to respect your privacy and your rights, and leave you the hell alone.

Speaking of earning, the revered 40-hour workweek is for losers. Forty hours should be considered the minimum, not the maximum. You don't see highly successful people clocking out of the office every afternoon at five. The losers are the ones caught up in that afternoon rush hour. The winners drive home in the dark.

Free speech is meant to protect unpopular speech. Popular speech, by definition, needs no protection.

Finally (and aren't you glad to hear that word), as Og Mandino wrote,

1. Proclaim your rarity. Each of you is a rare and unique human being.

2. Use wisely your power of choice.

3. Go the extra mile ... drive home in the dark.

Oh, and put off buying a television set as long as you can.

Now, if you have any idea at all what's good for you, you will get the hell out of here and never come back.

Class dismissed. "

I'm sure there are some great patriots at the FBI.

I'm not.

Hopefully there are enough. Or will it go the way of the U.S. State Department?

Some say the FBI went that way in the aftermath of Nov 22, 1963; others say for sure they did in the aftermath of April 19, 1995.

Excellent post.

Indeed these are the days when the word "rights" has a confusing definition. When the hell did rights come to mean entitlement to the whole world? Young folks should never forget that with our rights endowed by the Constitution comes responsibilities. They're going to be screwed when 4 years are over and they go into the real world. And I have a tip for anyone who complains about not getting a job after graduating from college. Don't major in philosophy, women's studies, Asian studies, Chicano studies or anything of that sort. Remember, only a few fuddy-duddy graduates can get jobs as professors in those subjects.

We are witnessing STRANGE DAYS indeed!!!

"I am trying to point out to you that huge influxes of people from countries with belief systems and social orders so diametrically opposed to ours are only going to shred our social fabric and and pose a danger to our way of life."

Well I'm not for "huge influxes" either which make assimilation more difficult. And I'm definitely against illegal immigration. But the rub in your statement is stuffing all the people you mention into an arbitrary 'one-size-fits-all' category of being "diametrically opposed" to our western way of life. It's simplistic and wrong-headed.

I agree that Islamic immigrants are beholden to a system which is diametrically opposed to our's, but the other asian people you pigeon-hole in with them are for the most part NOT opposed to our way of life and in no way wish to harm us or our way. For the most part they want to assimilate and become American or Canadian etc. Just like your and my ancestors did in the last 200 years.

Some bad apples among the Chinese or Phillipine or whatever community does not mean that ALL or a majority of those people are bad and opposed to us. No. There are PLENTY of bad apples among the Euro-immigrants from whom I am descended as well (pure white, Anglo-Saxon British German). Does that make me responsible for their bad deeds? You paint with big sloppy brush and taint good people with bad deeds they have no connection with or responsiblity for.

"China, India, Philipines, Pakistan, South Korea, Romania, Iran, Russia, Sri Lanka and Morocco."

Immigrants from India, Pakistan, Iran, and Morocco deserve very close scrutiny as to whether their allegiance is to Islam or their new desired destination.

If I were in charge I would even make them all take a Loyalty Oath to abide by Western Values and if they EVER violate it, deport them in a New York minute, or worse if they cause harm. The Phillipines and Sri Lanka would also need close monitoring for malicious moslems.

And I am not for unfettered immigrant influx either, not because I think 'those people' are dangerous or disloyal, but simply because it makes assimilation more difficult and lengthy. The "Diversity" chant is obnoxious I agree, and it IS used by those leftists who wish to bring down America/Canada/Europe. I focus on the leftists, not the innocent people they're trying to use to further their agenda of division and conflict.

"And to hear people say Bill Clinton defiled the White House?! "

...well , he did leave stains on the carpet and the furniture..and when he left office his staff members stripped office equipment and furniture , taken to parts unknown....and these are simply a couple of little things....A president should display behaviour beyond reproach...

....of course, his record on fighting terrorism is dismal too....

.... his record on the economy of the state wasn't terrific....

.... too many incidents to mention, unless of course, you wish to rehash documented history....

Texican,

I hope you are right but I don't think so.

The first test(s) will be with local l.e. backed by state troopers and (as in the case of the WTO riots) heavy federal presence including S.O.F.

A crystal clear example of what to expect was demonstrated a few months ago. A half dozen Jewish women were shot, killing one, in a mass murder attempt by a filthy muslim terrorist in Seattle.

Instantly the fbi declared this wasn't terrorism and not even a "hate crime." City police cars were deployed to filthy muslim terrorist MOSQUES! To protect them!!!

Oh, sorry that was Kent State. My bad. This is one post I'd like to be able to cancel. SORRY.

Don't apologize, scruallah.

Upset at the great progress made in southeastern Michigan, the powers-that-be in Ohio knew it would take years to catch the Great Lakes State in general Islamicization.

So what they did was really focus on their universities. If you go to Columbus you'll know what I mean. Let's just say that the Ohio State University is Mozzed up big-time, even more so than that loser institution in Ann Arbor.

And right here we see a perfect example of the fruits born by the Middle East's being permitted to subvert (or is the world "pervert"?) America's university system!!!

It is high time that all US citizens banded together and put a stop to the subversion of America's higher education institutions by Communists and Islam.
Everyone, call your representatives in the Senate and Congress and tell them this has to be stopped.

US colleges and universities must be prohbited by law from receiving financing from enemy states of the United States. And then we must make a start at cleaning this whole grotesque mess up! Seditionists and traitors should NOT be teaching our youths--EVER!!!!!

Believe us, if Islamic militants didn't think they could undermine our nation in this way, this professor would NOT be working as a professor doing what he is currently doing (which is OBSCENE!!!!!).

Good News
Either FoxNews is reading Jihadwatch or some of our e-mails got attention.
Less that an hour ago Fox did a story on this guy.
The other professors at the school are calling for his being dumped.
They found some other letters that he wrote in the past that were as bad.

Kent State wimped out with "we don't know this is actually his web site".

Makes you feel better that we talk about something one day and the next it's getting coverage on the news. Cool.

You know, that 1/2 hour News Joke they do on Sunday Night? I heard a joke on there that I thought came from one of our posters.

DebV,

The situation you describe with packing houses was in the news about 15-20 years ago if I remember correctly. I don't think it happens much anymore because rules have been tightened since then. If I'm wrong about that please provide a link to the story.

The worst cases happened in Vancouver and YES it was outrageous though nowhere even close to the atrocity of Muslim supremacists beheading innocent Christian schoolgirls on their way to grade school in Indonesia.

But yes the house-packing syndrome was an example of immigrants gaming the system which begged to be gamed since there were basically NO RULES WHATSOEVER about who came into the country or why. It shouldn't suprise anyone that it did happen that way because the Canadian government, such as it is/was, threw open the door to anyone and everyone and --surprise!-- anyone and everyone came running.

An analogy is if a music promotion company publicizes a FREE ROCK CONCERT at such and such a venue, with a popular band, and FREE BEER to boot. All you can drink free beer no less. And a chorus line of Hooters Girls, and Stadium Seating (i.e. first come first served). So they announce the time and place and the gates open at 7pm. No police are hired because this is a feel-good event meant to showcase the generosity of the promoter.

So what happens? Every free-loading Tom, Dick, and Harry shows up hours in advance in the hot summer sun to get the best seats and the free beer before it runs out. The crowd grows and grows outside the gates. Pretty soon it starts to get ugly as trouble-makers start pushing and shoving forward and cutting in line. Fights break out and there is no authority present to intervene. Before long there are thousands of people pushing and shoving and surging forward. Things are getting ugly. The gates strain, buckle, and break against the pressing masses. The crowd surges and the people in front are trampled by those behind. People are screaming, shouting, pleading, crying, to no avail. The situation is suddenly desperate but no one can do anything about it. It is out of any control.

The promoter created this reckless situation thinking they were generously providing a freebie for the community. Instead they created a nightmare with lasting ill-will and broken lives.

This is the kind of chaotic situation that the Canadian government, your leaders, created with their reckless immigration policy years ago. They threw open the door and threw out the rule book.
So not only has there been a chaotic rush to flood in, but there have also been few or no rules to govern the flood. It shouldn't surprise anyone that major problems come with such chaos.

So who is to blame? The poor S.O.B. in China or Vietnam or wherever (x 1,000s) who is living like dirt and sees a golden opportunity to better his life by leaps and bounds in a Land of Plenty? Or the Government of that Land of Plenty which opened the flood gates and made no effort whatsoever to regulate or restrict anyone or anything that wanted to come in?

I'd say your Canadian government is to blame! The sign said OPEN;COME;FREE! So of course the poor S.O.B. is going to come and bring everyone he possibly can with him. That's why I think your anger is somewhat misdirected. Who is responsible for making those reckless Canadian immigration policies? That's where your anger would be more constructively targeted. HOLD THEM RESPONSIBLE AND CHANGE THE POLICIES!

I do know that the policies have been tightened and improved somewhat but there is probably a lot more that could be done. American immigration policy is only marginally better.

The only other thing I would like to say is that I do not accept your view that most immigrants are house-packing, rodent-like, dirty, smelly, dangerous criminals. It is a real disservice to good immigrants to smear ALL immigrants like that.
Unfortunately, in Canada, the lack of ANY control or regulation did invite the kind of abuse which has soiled good immigrants along with the low-lifes which have taken advantage of it. I hate low-lifes as much as anyone and do not wish to import them.

But once again I repeat: There are low-lifes and criminals a-plenty among European descendant Americans and Canadians too. Do they represent you DebV?

IMMIGRATION POLICIES MUST BE TIGHTENED DRAMATICALLY TO ENSURE THAT WE ARE NOT IMPORTING CRIME, SEDITION, TERROR, and DECAY.

Update: Kent State Jihad

March 1, 2007

There has been a controversy as to whether Associate Professor Julio Pino is the author of the blog in question. I once again contacted the Kent State President’s office, and was told that they were still attempting to ascertain if the blog belongs to Pino. I also contacted Pino’s office in the Kent History Department. When I asked if Pino is the author, I was told they “do not believe that he is.” However, I am still awaiting official confirmation from Kent spokesman Ron Kirksey. There are several known facts that tend to show that, at a minimum, Pino is more than likely connected to this Jihadi blog. Full story:http://www.globalconservative.com/#Update:_Kent_State_Jihad

Don't forget that this sensitivity training thing can be a two way street.
Remember that FBI agents are Americans who were raised with the same set of values that we all were.
That said, I haven't been to any of these training courses, but it seems to me that a good investigator would find knowing how 'skinless' these people are will serve him/her well when the S**t does hit the fan.
And it will and it hasen't yet.

For instance, college is required to be an FBI agent. Don't you think that some American who heretofore hasn't paid much attention to Islam MIGHT just wonder why he/she has to learn how 'not to offend them'? Don't you think that this question might pique their curioustity to look deeper into what it is all about.
After all, and again I haven't seen these courses, but from our experience, we know they have to be filled with obvious 'taco butter' that any moron can see through.
I guess my point is, we need to keep in mind that this is a place they might come to learn more and that's is what we want them to do. Not be turned off by unreasonable bias toward the agency they are a part of.
I know critizing the government and it's agencies is more popular than praising them, but I still feel that there a good and bad in every group.

Posted by: auntbea [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 2, 2007 9:52 AM

I don't much time today so I'll quote and reply a few things:

A in G says:

"Well, but unfortunately no one is tightening anything."

Yes, and that's the fundamental problem.

"BTW, Germany also has it's share of Vietnamese gangs and Vietnamese mafia and those guys aren't ones to mess around with."

And authorities don't usually interfere much because Vietnamese gangs usually fight with each other and prey on other Viet immigrants (protection rackets etc).

"However, take a look at the prisons in the United States and tell me what the statistics are.
Which ethnic, racial groups make up most of the violent criminals in the United States, Canada and Europe?"

Blacks and Hispanics in U.S. prisons.

"According to your opinion, then, the statistics of prison populations should directly reflect the population."

No, didn't say that.

"And don't say that whites are just let go and not put in jail either. That's bunk and we all know it."

Didn't say that either.

I will say that the kind of crime that "white people" generally commit is more along the lines of "white collar" chime. Economic crime. Not only is it harder to catch, but the penalties are less severe too. Yeah I would rather be ripped off by a white landlord (it's happened many times to me) than knifed on the street by a darker skinned criminal, but both are bad.

"The Somalis and Hmong were invited in by our idiot lawmakers, but illegal Mexicans can just waltz into any Welfare Office in the U.S., any Medical Clinic in the U.S., not speak one word of English, and always GET what they want!" -- A in G.

YES, THIS is what needs to change and soon. This kind of free-loading and reward for illegality is OUTRAGEOUS. Still not on par with what's happening with militant moslemmings but WRONG nonetheless, and creating the kind of resentment and backlash which will result in even greater conflict in the future.
The leftists who are pushing these open border policies do not care that it will lead to such conflict. Many of the them WANT this division and conflict to come. They are stoking the flames, hoping for conflagration. They hate America (and Canada and Europe to a lesser degree).

DebV says:

"I bet you didn't even read the link above link I provded about Chinese crime, snakeheads and heir human smuggling."

Wrong. I actually did click on it and read some of it. But again, it's about this or that instance of immigrant crime etc. issues. I already know that those problems exist to one degree or another. So what counts is CHANGING THE POLICIES which let anyone and everyone flood in!

"They bootlegged crap they sell in heir stores include inferior conterfiet BABY FORULA. How low can you go, not caring if that baby drinking that garbage with god knows what in it, will grow up stunted medically because the nutrition was deficient. Oh well, they're making money of it, so why should they care?"

Yes, pharmaceutical fraud is particularly heinous and must be stopped. If I were President or Premier or whatnot, which I'm obviously not, I would institute draconian penalties for such fraud, especially where it impacts peoples' health. Please link to a baby counterfeit formula story if you have one I'd be interested to see it.
Most native-born Canadians aren't buying their baby formula from Chinese shops but nonetheless this type of fraud is outrageous for sure. Pharmaceutical fraud is also extremely dangerous and goes on undetected in many instances.

"Eveyn day at Pearson air port we get abandoned undocumented childen arrving alone and from China and Africa then the state has to care take of them of the. Or they the scamsters on flght rip up their paperwork and thrownit down the toilet in flight so can chant the magic word "refgee" when theyland. They guarantees free food, housing, all the amenities we "law abidng" peole like us actually work and pay taxes for."

Such things MUST STOP! I don't know how much clearer I can be that any number of such examples are indeed evidence that the system is broken. THE POLICIES MUST BE CHANGED and letting it continue on in these ways will bring major conflict. I say again, this is what the leftists in charge want. Now I wouldn't say that Stephen Harper is a leftist, but those entrenched bureaucrats in charge of immigration policy (most of them probably as "white" as the driven snow by the way, note to a. in g.) are most certainly of the type that could care less what kind of conflict they are creating. THAT is the fundamental problem which is driving all these examples you cite. THAT'S where pressure needs to be applied.

"Notice how every horrible strain of flu, Sars, etcl comes from Asia. They refuse teach basic hygiene and their market places and disgting. One Hong Kong tourist brought Sars to Toronto from China..."

I'm out of time now but I will try to address this one some more later. Hong Kong is not a dirty city, nor is Tokyo, nor is Singapore, nor any number of other more prosperous areas. The problem you are citing is economic, not racial.

memo to alexon:

GET THIS: ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS IN AMERICA ARE COMMITTING 9000 HOMICIDES EACH YEAR on average!! The victims are usually American citizens. And, more than 45,000 violent crimes are being committed by illegals in the United States! Again, the usual target is an American citizen (and we now have university 'professors' calling us "little Eichmanns" while horrors like this go on around us).

Two weeks or so ago, a 49 year-old white woman in the Bay Area of California was bound, gagged, doused with gasoline, and torched to death by a pair of female Latin Americans. She owed them $150.00.

Viva Hugo Chavez.

Who's going to be next??? Do we want to find out?

DebV says:

"The Hong Kong tourist who brought Sars here was HONG KONG nationaliy but only after visiting Guandgong province of China, the epicentre of the epidemic, he became sick."

I'm well aware of that. The reason I mentioned that Hong Kong is not a filthy place is because what you wrote could easily have been taken to mean that the tourist picked up SARS in Hong Kong.

You wrote: "One Hong Kong tourist brought Sars to Toronto from China, touching off a full-scale panic..."

Hong Kong is now part of China.

"I never mentioned Japan, or Singapore either because they have very high standards of cleanliness."

Oh, that's nice to hear now that I pointed it out. It never occurs to you to find examples which run counter to your sloppy arguments. You just say filthy asian this and filthy asian that and then claim that you're not "anti-oriental." Nice.

"They are here for two or three generations never learning to speak English or mix with the general public."

That's bullshit. Most asians assimilate in a generation or two at most. Most are eager to learn the language.

"Why? They've got their own homegrown Chinatowns that they never have to leave."

Chinatowns have been around in America for over well over 150 years and it's never stopped Chinese from assimilating and learning the language and becoming Americans.

"They don't vote in elections either unless a Candidate is Chinese."

You're so full of crap. Your big sloppy generalizations would just be funny if they weren't so vicious.

"I am not anti Oriental.

No, apparently you like Phillipinos because they tend to be Catholic.

"On every corner in my neightborhood, "spas" and health centres" (rub and tugs is what they really, are springing up, all Chinese run."

Oh How Horrible! How dare they try to make a honest living. Economic Wreckers!

"Together this country is gone."

Woe, Woe, Woe; Like your racist bitching and moaning is doing any good.

Posted by: alexon [TypeKey Profile Page] at March 2, 2007 7:13 PM

Hey Debby, one doesn't have to be racist against everyone to still be racist against some, and you're the perfect case in point.

Good for you that you married a coffee-colored, tree-swinging, mud-pie mulatto from the jungles of Guyana and have half-breeds for children.

Guess what? That doesn't mean you aren't racist about Chinese, Vietnamese, and whomever else you spew out your garbage stereotypes about.

A lot of people feel and talk exactly about your husband and children the way you feel and talk about Chinese. How does it feel?

I don't believe any of the stereotypes I just spewed out about your husband Debby. I was only making a point. It didn't feel good did it?

You write: "On every corner in my neightborhood, "spas" and health centres" (rub and tugs is what they really, are springing up, all Chinese run."

Oh yes, you have a lot of credibility by now: Chinese prostitutes on every corner, Chinese poisonous fake baby formula for sale everywhere, Chinese and African babies arriving unclaimed every single day at your local airport, blah blah blah. You find one or two examples of something bad and then suddenly it becomes characteristic of ALL Chinese and can be found EVERYWHERE where you live, and all across Canada to boot.

Well Debby, it's just not believable any more. Your relentless exaggerations have destroyed your credibility. I was even starting to feel a little sorry for you, thinking back to the days when I lived across the street from a welfare house and saw firsthand all the fraud and abuse that went on there. I cut you a lot of slack for a lot of posts but no longer. You're so determined to make an enemy out of me that you've finally succeeded. Way to go! Now your making progress on Canadian immigration reform. Not.

"Don't you just love it when this jerk calls me a racist just for stating facts."

Who are you talking to? Soliciting reinforcements?

"Heres a little advice for you. Just speak about what you actually know about. If I'm reading an article on this and I don't feel qualified to comment on, then I keep my mouth shut till I'm better educated on the subject."

You would do well to follow your own advice. But then you wouldn't have occasion to make any posts at all would you? That might be a good improvement. I'm done with you. Bye Bye Debby.

p.s. You keep calling me "naeive" and misspell it a different way every time. The actual word is "naive". If you want to make a putdown at least spell it correctly. It doesn't reflect well on your "edgukayshun"

Free Speech Jihad (Update two)
March 4, 2007

Professor Juilo Jihadi is more than a simple nut ball like Ward Churchill. Sure Churchill raised a few eyebrows, and offended many Americans with his outlandish perspectives, but he was not directly contributing to the jihadi movement to bring down the West. Liberals however, are unable to make a distinction between someone engaging in legitimate free speech, and someone that is openly trying to kill them. http://www.globalconservative.com/index.html#Free_Speech_Jihad_(Update_two)
