Why isn't Ibrahim Hooper or Salam Al-Marayati or even Dinesh D'Souza winging his way to southern Thailand right now to explain to these "militants" that Islam forbids the killing of innocent civilians? What's that? Because the "militants" can make the case from Islamic law that civilians considered to be part of a polity that is at war with Islam are not considered innocent? What are you, some kind of Islamophobe?

SUSPECTED Islamic militants have shot dead six people in Thailand's restive Muslim-majority south, police have said.A 21-year-old Buddhist government security guard was shot and killed in a public phone booth late Monday in Yala, one of three insurgency-torn southern provinces bordering Malaysia, police said.
Also in Yala, two Muslim men, aged 20 and 24, were shot dead in a drive-by shooting late on Monday.
Militants also shot dead two male Buddhist villagers, aged 52 and 31, who were working in a paddy in neighboring Pattani province.
On Tuesday morning, a 35-year-old deputy village chief, a Buddhist, was shot and killed in a drive-by attack in Narathiwat province.

The way to cure the problem in Thailand is for the government to buy a million AK 47's, train the locals, allow them to shoot anyone who is threatening them and in 5 minutes the brave Muslims will quit.
Armed citizens are how you deal with thugs and keep the lawyers out of it. The local sheriff is the law and magistrate. Make sure it is a Buddha blesser and all will be secure.
People have the right and it is a necessity to protect themselves.

The way to cure the problem in Thailand is for the government to buy a million AK 47's, train the locals, allow them to shoot anyone who is threatening them and in 5 minutes the brave Muslims will quit.
There's only one problem. The Thai Government is headed by a Muslim, and they wouldn't wan't a hair on their fellow Muslims heads harmed.

Thailand probably already has a million AK47s--tanks and armored personnell carriers too...the problem is a Islamic sympathetic government and a weak military....
Muslims are not too brave, but they are mindlessly dedicated to what they do....
like a cockroach infestation, the only way to get rid of the problem is mass extermination by whatever means that works, followed up by a prevention program that prohibits a re-infestation....Thailand does not have the stomach nor the will to do it....they will continue to suffer one bite at a time...
Islam is pushing the world into making that mass extermination determination....
