In this brief segment on Hannity and Colmes (via Hot Air), Steve Emerson manages to reveal more about CAIR than has probably ever been aired by the mainstream media before, despite the dense and dogged resistance of Alan Colmes.

COlmes is a wimp....however, it is good to see CAIR getting well deserved recognition of what it actually is...

How long do you think it will take the naysayers to jump to CAIR's defense, solely because this story is on FOX news?

The Muslim pressure groups can sue Steve Emerson as much as they want. IIRC he said he had positioned himself so they would get nothing if they happen to sue and win.
These Saudi funded lawsuits are the new menace. And not just Saudi of course. CAIR and other Jihad front groups get lots of overseas funding. If were up to me no Mosque would be built here with foreign money.

Robert Spencer, if you ever get on that 'show' again, promise me that you will not allow that turkey Alan Colmes to shout you down like last time. Just tell him to shut up and that you are talking now, and that it is very impolite to interrupt your guest when he has something to say. That guy is such a .... (fill in your favorite....)
Meanwhile, downunder:

As Fizgerald has said: The cat's out of the bag. Colmes was very upset, though he tried to hide it. He was in a position where he had to defend that which was impossible to defend. That's why he went to this "McCarthy" crap. Emerson knows his stuff and he will demolish an opponent, not on clever debating tactics, but by hammering with the facts. Emerson is a straight-shooter.

Sheik:
You must be thinking of someone else. I have never been on Hannity and Colmes, and doubt I will ever be invited on. While Hannity professes to be un-PC and willing to discuss any subject, he apparently doesn't have the stomach to discuss the elements of Islam that are giving rise to violence, and what non-Muslims and Muslims can realistically do to counter this use of the Islamic texts to incite and justify violence.

Robert, now you have me confused: Which show was it where the host constantly interrupted you and tried to shout you down?

Robert, have you seen this?
Feel free to put it up:

Sheik,
I'm sorry, but I can't remember that ever happening. Other guests, sure. The host, no.

You have to appreciate the way Emerson turns the table around on Colmes in Colmes' game of "let's stick a label on your argument to diminish its significance."

I noticed Alan Colmes tactic for stifling debate regarding islam. If the guest makes a legitimate comment about the large degree of support or symathy for terrorists amongst muslims, he just throws back a " NOT ALL MUSLIMS ARE TERRORISTS!" Pretty pathetic, but seems to work well for him.

Alan Colmes, take a good look, that is the true face of a liberal. This is proof that in America anyone can make it. You don’t need to behave like a man, you don’t need to care about the women and children who will suffer horribly under these islamists. This guy is married, he is some woman’s husband? What kind of woman goes for a spineless milquetoast like him? I pity the children of his union if he has any. He is worse than an empty suit, he is dangerous to us all but mostly to our women and children. Make no mistake, he’s the walking dead among us the islamists will take him apart in 5 seconds flat and he has company out there all over the country and world. He’s like many other lefties, he was once told that white people are the only ones capable of racism and he bought it. Now, we all know that whites aren’t perfect but they are probably the least racist of all the peoples of the modern world, where else in the world are minorities treated like they are in the USA, nowhere is the answer. He is not bright enough to actually think for himself he relies on his ideological buddies to tell him all about the big bad white guys while splainin to us that these islamists are really nice guys, they are just misunderstood. If we only reach out to them everything will be a ok and he can come out from under the bed. I say, do us all an enormous favor Alan stay under the bed and don’t come out until you hear the all clear signal. In my opinion he is a greasy little man with a greasy little agenda. And don’t get caught up with Sean either, he is like most republicans today, he and they do their best interpretation of Charlie Brown whenever and wherever they get the opportunity.

Colmes just failed criminal procedure. His version of "guilt by association" is actually criminal conspiracy. Colmes would have freed John Gotti because he had others pull the trigger.

Usually Sean Hannity likes to do the talking. People like him like their own voices better than others. But I'm glad he pretty much shut his mouth this time and let Steven Emerson do the talking. Emerson has put his freaking life on the line to investigate jihadists for years. Apparently you can't even go to his office without being blindfolded. That's how much security he has. Alan Colmes is f***ing frustrating to watch. The McCarthy label does not apply to front groups for terrorist organizations. Don't f***ing use it lightly, just like with the Nazi label.

Funny how Fox has designated Hannity & Colmes as the show for issues on terrorism while The Factor slowly (or not so slowly) morphs into The Bill O'Reilly Variety Hour.
It's all about entertainment, folks.
I can't wait for the Russian Bear Act ... haven't seen one of those in awhile.

O'reilly was sharp shortly after 9/11 but has now dulled. He's too focused on bonking his producers and rubbing them with "falafels". I'm actually starting to like Hannity now. I wish he would ditch Colmes though but I guess we need some entertainment.

This is wonderful that the H & C circus on Fox is having it's hand forced.
I still have hope Mr. Spencer you will be invited. Fox is receiving enough letters complaining you are not being put on air......that is why Emerson is being allowed to at least make these points to the chagrin of Rosie O'Colmes.

Tabloid TV. People we don’t know, their faces being projected into our homes, telling us the news from their perspective. They determine what is important to you, they determine how the issue will be framed for you. The people, sitting in their living rooms, waiting, watching for what the next story will be. Doesn’t this strike anyone as sort of Scifi-ish? We live in a time where you can get all the news you want with the touch of a finger. Real news not something I would expect to see in the supermarket checkout line. Monkeyboy storms UN discovers cure for Aids in Hugo’s briefcase and such. How can anyone sit through a half hour of it?

CAIR OR C* R I A
See there could be a hidden message here the IRA version of Islam waiting to grow big enough to make a spilt away group that's what eventually happens if a non democratic group wants independence, remember they are not true Muslsims untill they live by its law but since their size is small they will take baby steps to get democracy abolished and plant C* where + should be. Take a cross down build a prayer room that a bargain.

Alan Colmes-You're playing the guilt by association game. That's McCarthyism.
Steven "Napoleon" Emerson-No I'm not you freaking idiot. GOSH!
Oh, I loved that movie.

I watched the segment on H&C the other night and Emerson was livid at Colmes for interrupting and trying to defend CAIR. Holmes' defense of islam, muslims, and all other liberal causes seems almost robotic with his standard, hackneyed responses. Whatever Hannity defends or supports, Colmes, in an impassive monotone, attempts to refute. Holmes is in dire need of a personality upgrade, makeover, or image adjustment.
Bridgette Gabriel was on the other night and Holmes got her name backwards when he introduced her. Here we have a lady who was born and raised in the midst of islamic barbarism, but Holmes was determined to downplay everything she said. He acted like he couldn't wait to end the interview. Why do so many Jews defend islam? Geraldo's little stunt was infuriating during the discussion of the flying imams. His ignorant comments ruined what could have been an excellent expose of the evil imams and their comrades at CAIR. Hannity got in the last word but he had to shout over Geraldo, who finally admitted he knew nothing about the incident.
What a waste of precious air time just so Geraldo could demonstrate his sympathy for poor, victimized muslims who have been subjected to such horrendous discrimination since 9-11. I wonder if Geraldo and Holmes realize how much muslims detest them because they are Jews. Muslims haven't been subjected to enough scrutiny and have received far too much support and sympathy since 9-11 and in return, they sue everyone that dares to challenge their supremacy.

The above link is for those of you who think Sean Hannity should be listened to for full and complete or as he calls it "fair and balanced" discussion. I agree with Robert; and further I add; Hannity is not to be found discussing any real truth about Islam on either of his shows and certainly not what you will hear from JW. His desire to be liked rather than discuss truths is apparently all he cares about. When and if the public ever learns this truth he will fade into TV land like so many one hit wonders! He and others like him do a dis-service to America solely because they obfuscate the truth for ratings.

Susanp,
That is Colmes not Holmes; and unless your comment is to be taken sarcastically, and then I will admit I missed it entirel and say: thanks for the sarcasm.

First of all, even Hannity, a supposed right-winger (a joke), has to think about his career before he can open his mouth. Unlike Robert Spencer, he's in it for the money and the prestige. This is a grass-roots effort. It's up to people like us to nurture a future political climate where people like him can say what they really think without being destroyed for it. If Hannity were to give Islam the scrutiny it deserves he's be destroyed.
This is the same problem that plagues most politicians, and why we should admire people like Tom Tancredo so much, who, for his criticism of Islam alone, will never be president and, it seems to me, is lucky to still have his house seat. Kudos to the good people of his Colorado district. Politics is about expediency. When it ceases to be politically in-expedient to criticize Islam and becomes politically in-expedient not to criticize Islam - ie people will boot their sorry asses out of office if they apologize for Islam - our politicians will speak out. That's our job to make it happen.
Second, Colmes argues for the sake of arguing. He's an empty suit. It's his job to sit there and disagree with Hannity and anyone that agrees with Hannity, no matter how much it contrasts with reason, logic, and rationality. It's "Right vs Left". Useless Right vs Left ideological bickering will end up getting us all killed.

These people aren't merely scammers, they are propounding mass murder in addition to making themselves accessories to it. The word 'scam' doesn't begin to cover the crimes CAIR has brazenly perpetrated in America.
Americans should be well and truly sick of CAIR and its ungodly political shenanigans by now.
I know I am.
