1938 Alert from Reuters, with thanks to Sr. Soph:
TEHRAN, (Reuters) - A senior Iranian army commander warned the United States and other Western powers not to make any "stupid move" over Tehran's nuclear programme and said they would be surprised by the military response to any such action. The comments by the commander-in-chief of the regular army, reported by newspapers on Saturday, were the latest in a series of defiant statements by Iran's leadership as the United Nations prepares to vote on new sanctions against the country.
Iran is embroiled in an escalating international dispute over its uranium enrichment, which Iran says is solely for fuel for power generation but the West suspects is a cover for making nuclear weapons.
The United States says it would prefer a negotiated solution to the crisis, but has not ruled out military options if diplomacy fails.

It reminds me of Saddams "Mother of all Battles" comment before gulf war I.
Bunch of blowhards that know they can't overpower us. My guess is the first response would be a missle attack on Israel.

By all means let us test the waters! Our response to their aggression should be TOTAL annihilation. Does anybody think that just because our cowardly leadership did not respond to the clear declaration of war from the Iranian lunatics that took over our embassy, everybody in America forgot about it? I got news for them. Before that aggression, I had no fight with Islam. After it, I have nothing but hate for all.

The Turn of the Screw.
The cries of enemy reaction.
Music to the ears of Western infidels.
Ahmannutjob will soon be joining the chorus at Turtle Bay.
The more these bastards sing, the sweeter their sounds.

The Iranians are scared psychologically and is why they are threatening any moves by America.
It is why Ahmadinejad ran like a race horse to Saudi Arabia after the United States conducted an intel meeting in Jordan with all the Middle East powers fixing a policy to neutralize Iran.
It is why Russia is not sending nuclear fuel to Iran as they know what is coming and are saving it to sell to some other proxy in knowing a clock is ticking for a Global Strike on Iran.
It is why Ahmadinejad is making a last run at the UN to try and garner some support.
The Iranian gambit is to have Assad, Hamas and Hezbollah strike the Israeli state and all those parties to bleed as the Islamocommunist sit back and watch.
The order of battle is set for mid summer according to reports I have seen.

We need to inform the Iranian People that they need to change their Goverment or we will.
We won't be nice about it either. Not to mention that their standard of living is going to change dramaticly downward when we do.
No Lights, no Water, no Phones,no Tomatos.

At this point I would say waste their nuclear program just to see what they really got. Then waste them some more after their response

Like flower knife says we can dismantle Iran's infrastructure from the air. No muss, no fuss. That would be our response to their terrorism

Because of Iranian "leadership", the residents of Tehran are going to end up sitting in the dark, freezing, with no ability to even make a phone call if the U.S. decides to go after the Iranian nuclear facilities.
I certainly hope that the people of Iran who want to live freely instead of under the thumbs of these mullahs get the support (financial and otherwise) they need to overthrow these menaces to modern society.

This totally made me laugh. Yes, I would be surprised if their military wasn't totally defeated in under two weeks. Muslim armies are historically weak, thats why most of the Islamic countries are still 3rd world. Their beliefs won't allow them to climb out of the dark ages.

Iran's army warns U.S. against any "stupid move"
Thank you Iran for that warning. I second that. No more waging a "stupid" politically correct war as in Iraq. War should not be waged at all unless with total conviction to destroy not just the armed forces of the enemy, but the utter destruction of his morale and his ability to even contemplate the idea of any retaliation.

Of course there won't be any "stupid moves" ... we've learned a great deal in our stumbling around in Iraq ... only intelligent moves from now on ... intelligent moves that will topple the theocracy in Iran ... without costing American lives.

For the record, everything is now in place for an attack on Iran.
I've begun to wonder if Nancy Pelosi and certain Democrats actually work for Ahmadinejad. And who elected Nancy to be Commander in Chief? It seems she has told the administration, in no uncertain terms, that an attack on Iran will not happen without congressional (her?) approval.
House members this week removed language from the Iraq spending bill (which was passed by committee yesterday) that would require President Bush to get congressional authorization for any war against Iran.On March 13, the same day House Appropriations Chairman David R. Obey, D-Wis., said he had removed the Iran provision from the draft war spending measure, Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., quietly promised Appropriations Committee Democrats that she would soon bring the measure up as a stand-alone bill, said James P. Moran, D-Va., who attended the meeting in Pelosi’s suite.

Also, we have MoveOn.org running full-page ads in the Washington Post:
"If you like war in Iraq, You'll love war on Iran!"

Where would we be without the maniacal Soros trying to run the world?!

I think we learned a thing or two from Iraq. Love or hate the conflict there, you must admit that we now have the most battle hardened and most experienced military in all the world.
I believe that if we do attack Iran (or when we do), we will attack from the air and target all command and control centers along with all major infrastructure targets, thus scattering the Mullah leadership, and undermining their grip on the populace. Once the people have no electricity, running water, etc., they will hopefully rise up against the Mullahs with a type of "why have you forsaken us" mentality.
-No Invasion Necessary-
Unlike Iraq, where we needed to establish a military launching pad for the middle east, we don't need one in Iran. I would be easier to just bomb them into submission for about 25 days, and let the rest of the world (via the pathetic UN) worry about the mop up.
Let those democratic forces, which expatriots have told us exist, rise up to reclaim their nation. If they have the will - we will make the way.
Besides, I don't like the match up of our A1 Abrams and Strykers going up against the Iranian military's two man dirt-bike grenade strike teams.

Oh, one more thing.. I see Israel making the first strike attack, or a "retalitory" strike as the kickoff for a full blown attack.
We know they've been practicing,
http://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/main.jhtml?xml=/news/2007/02/24/wiran124.xml
and I'm sure Bush gave them a call, pointed out the Democrats call for an end to hostilities, and told Olmert, "do you really want to wait until after the election to strike".
