And the presence of Imam al Hindy, the "spiritual" counselor of the Khadr family, the man who has declined to condemn Islamic terrorism because he's already "done so once" and to continue to do so "makes one appear guilty?" That doesn't indicate a problem?

And the attempted attack on LAX, planned by a Canadian Moslem and caught only by the sharp-eyed diligence of US border authorities? That doens't indicate a problem?

islam is evil in the bone - there isnt truth or brotherhood as an ideal in it - so it just promotes aggression, deception and death for its grand poohbah called allah and child rapist rep Mohammed.

So the muslim cannot trust their own religion.

Think of Malcom X in NYC opposing his grand poobah and knowing there is a death sentence out for him and he is a walking dead man. Seeking protection he does not get it. And the puke who arranged to kill him (Farrakon) continues to head the muslim group.

The best thing a muslim can do is to search his conscience and say goodbye to this monstrosity.

Who would ever want to be part of such an ideology ?

And when possible, stamp it out.

Which side are they investigating for hate associated crimes? Blow people up and you will be portrayed as a fighter against oppression, think about someone the wrong way and they are all over your ***. Somehow I’m not convinced they will find any evidence or the evidence they do find will be deemed an islamist right of ideology. I sometimes wonder, who is more dangerous to us, the islamists or law enforcement/media/academia that shields them at every opportunity?

I appreciate and admire his contribution as a moderate, but he and other Muslims who think like him still have tried to bury their heads in the sand, and in doing so, have been part of the problem, rather than the solution. Hopefully this threat will be a wakeup call to them and to the rest of us. Its time for Canada to start dealing with Islamic problems head on.

This is why lawmakers in the West must make tough laws specifically targeting those who make physical threats (esp death threats) against individuals who speak out against an ideology or organization. Eg. Prison for those who call for beheading of those who criticize Islam, even if only as a general threat as part of a demonstration.

They should also make laws protecting people against lawsuits (as from CAIR) who in good faith report a suspicious activity of individuals that's possibly terroristic in intent.

Jihad can happen in Canada too. I am happy to see that some Muslims are speaking out against Jihad, sharia, ect. It's a shame that they have to risk their lives to do it. Could this mean that Islam in western countries could reform?

Would it help the cause of moderation within Islam if more groups stepped forward to support the drive towards nonviolence and church/state separation? What if liberal and conservative groups alike openly showed their support? Heck, what if the Canadia government, an opponent of terrorism, stepped forward? The more violence elements of Islam would seethe and rage, certainly, but isn't what is needed is a show of solidarity against the barbarism? I know it won't happen, but every time a threat is made, and it's only reported on, the Islamists gain more ground. Obviously moderate Muslims exist. I think now more than ever they need support of other moderates alike, both Muslim and infidel.

Just my .02 yen, idealistic as it very well may be.
