Jihad against retired teachers and elderly couples. This Associated Press (thanks to Jeffrey Imm), however, stays in passive voice as long as it can, before gingerly identifying the culprits as "suspected insurgents," who of course just happen to target Buddhists.
BANGKOK, Thailand: A retired teacher and an elderly couple were shot dead Saturday while four other civilians were wounded in a bomb explosion in Thailand's violent-ravaged south, police said.Sawai Phrommani, a 62-year-old retired teacher, was killed in a drive-by shooting as he rode a motorcycle home in Pattani's Mayo district, said police Lt. Col. Narat Thepchalerm.
In Narathiwat, suspected insurgents posing as customers shot dead a Buddhist couple _Charin Ngaono, 70 and his 68-year-old wife Rabiep _in their grocery store in Rangae district, police said.
Four Buddhist civilians also were wounded in Yala province, when a roadside bomb exploded as their car passed over it, police said.

islamist reasons for killing the teacher,, he is spreading knowledge, we cant have that, have to keep people dumbed down. l think they should hire teachers unions for that. and as for the older couple, well they were caught holding hands, cannot have that for sure near muslims. hey you just might infect muslims with compassion, and loving your partners. too much love and knowledge is a dangerous
thing to have around muslims, so islamists do what they do best , kill, kill,..

I've posted this before- You have to hit Muslims where it hurts. Their bases are the madrassas and mosques. You start leveling them with the most virulent ones first. You start leveling the houses of the Jihadist clans. Make it so Muslims are always having to spend their energy rebuilding. No time left to kill innocent infidels.
The entire ummah gets a thrill when the Moslem vanguard (the bloody Jihadists) drives infidels off their land and kills them randomly. The will of allah is what they chalk it up to. More dead Thai Buddhists? The will of allah that these polytheists met untimely demise

I'll bet these elderly Buddhists flushed a Koran at some point in their life.
Or insulted the "prophet" somehow.
Or refused to allow Islam to dominate Thailand.
There're plenty of good, solid Mohammedan reasons for killing infidel people.
Just read the Qur'an.

Teachers and Geezers. Of course before Muslims had the list of girls in school, college girls, ice cream sellers and that notorious lot of internet cafe owners.
Where is CAIR's announcement condemning this???

Looks like the AP is already subscribing to the EU and UN guidelines of not tying islam with killing, terrorism, etc.

I have to say, I concur.
One murder rates a mosque and as many preachers as you can get.
You won't win hearts and minds -- it is far too satisfying for the mohammedans to wail about their victimhood -- but you may achieve some quiet.
Besides it's sort of pointless to try winning hearts and minds among the heartless and mindless.
The important question is how to inspire despair.
