More on this story. They lined up the laborers according to religion, killed the non-Muslims, and then settled down and cooked a chicken.
And some there are trying to politicize the terrorism issue. Sound familiar? "5 labourers shot dead in J&K," from The Tribune of Chandigarh, India, with thanks to Narain Kataria:
Jammu, March 30 - Five persons belonging to a minority community were massacred by terrorists in Thiriat village in the border district of Rajouri today.Four seriously injured in the attack were flown here and operated upon in the military hospital.
Two of the killed, Joginder Pal and Chaman Lal, were brothers and the former had three children.
Chief Minister Ghulam Nabi Azad, who visited the wounded in the hospital, told mediapersons that he would not allow demilitarisation in the state until peace was totally restored.
In an indirect attack on PDP leader Mufti Sayeed, he said the selective killing of people belonging to the minority community was a lesson for those seeking demilitarisation. “I” will not allow demilitarisation to happen until terrorism was ended completely in the state, he declared.
He said the terrorists were still present in the state and could become active anytime and at any place.
Azad said the political parties should not try to politicise the sensitive issue of security of the country.
He said a group of terrorists barged into a house in Thiriat village last night and segregated labourers belonging to the minority community from others. Thereafter they indiscriminately fired at the labourers belonging to the minority community killing five of them on the spot and injuring four others.
Meanwhile, injured Balkishen said the terrorists donning worn-out military fatigue knocked at the door of the house while they were cooking their food. They barged in and asked them to line up separately according to their religion and fired with their AK rifles at them.
He said the labourers sought mercy but the ultras did not relent. Thereafter, the terrorists cooked a chicken and after taking their meal stayed in the house for the night. They left the place early in the morning. Mohammad Tasveer informed the Army about the incident in the morning.

I wonder if the chicken recipe was in the Koran too as in the other story the Islamists cooked a child and served them on a bed of rice.
Perhaps Martha Stewart will be doing a Ramadan special, 40 ways to enjoy the chicken of the people you murder.

Another case of the press following along with not idiocy of not mentioning islam or moslem in the story. How has this fallacy, i.e., that failing to name islam and/or moslem in the story is some type of enlightened thinking, developed?
Can you imagine the press failing to name the prepetrators if they were any other religion, especially Jews or Christians?

From the article above, taken from an Indian newspaper:

"...they indiscriminately fired at the labourers belonging to the minority community killing five of them on the spot and injuring four others."
The words "Islam" and "Islamic" and "Muslim" are entirely absent from the article. The identity of the victims is limited to the phrase, repeated again and again and again and again, only as "persons" or "people" or "labourers" (twice) "belonging to the minority community."[
What conceivable good does it to for the non-Muslims of India, or of the world, for its own press to be prevented from identifying the victims as "Hindu" and their murderers as "Muslims"?

Mr. Hugh, I share your anguish at the newspapers not mentioning Islam in any vandalism perpretrated by Muslims.
This behaviour of the press is particularly seen in India.
The press, while professing to uphold the truth, does not have the gall to mention the bare facts in certain cases as these. Those that have done so have had their offices damaged and razed for even the flimsiest reasons.
Leave the press, because they have "commercial reasons" and fear of damage, but even the intellectuals of India do not have the uprightness to call Islam the culprit in the historical and the present contexts of Mulsim rowdism. In fact , the Jawaharlal University is full of such wimpish professors who have specialised in no subjects of secular / scientific value, but only in communism and Hindu bashing.
As said in the Hindu scriptures, it is the sign of the times that Truth, compassion, understanding and Dharma are judged by might and the person who has no means of defending himself is regarded as the offender.

If Ghulam Nabi Azad has negative vibes about his ally, why doesn't he break the alliance and call fresh elections?
It need not be a slam dunk for the pro-Jihadis, since the pro-Jihadi vote would be split between the PDP and the National Conference.
As for the reports Hugh alludes to above, if any newspaper did dare to spell out 'Hindu' and 'Muslim' by name, they'd be charged with sedition by the authorities, and promoting 'communal dis-harmony'. But no Indian reading the reports in question usually has any doubts about who it is in the story under discussion.

Shooting "infidels" before you have lunch is evidently 'halal'.
What I really don't understand is that noone else ever seems to be armed or know how to fight. I mean how about some Indiana Jones type action? I know if I lived among so many savages I'd make sure I had a lot of very reliable and trustworthy friends and I'd be taking martial arts and gun practice daily.
And if any of these MoFoes tried to pull an AK on me I'd do a Jack Bauer on him without thinking even once.
I hope self-defense is still allowed in India?
Wasn't there this famous movie called the "Seven Samurai" by Kurosawa?
It's the story of villagers who keep getting looted and killed until one day they've had enouth and they decide to pick up arms and defend themselves from these vandals.
Suggested watching not only for Hindus but for all of us.

CNNIBN,NDTV, are the popular English news channels in India.
Neither of those channels carried the news of this brutal killing...
Only Times NOW backed by Reuters carried this news, and I have found the news first in their channel and afterwards on Jihadwatch...
The indifference of the main channels is so huge to the plight of the Hindu's sufferings, and it is openly evident...
I follow Zee NEws Hini channel as the news is balanced , and times now..
