Hostage drill at NJ school features mock 'Christian terrorists'

Why do the authorities involved here invent a fake threat instead of dealing with the real one? Because they know that no Crusaders' Rights group will call them bigots on CNN. They know that no Christians will picket their offices or call them hatemongers.

By Jim Brown for OneNewsNow.com, with thanks to Joe, who also passes along these comments: "Remember that most people fight like they train, so it may be counterproductive to base anti-terrorist training on the presumed motivations and tactics of 'Christian Terrorists.'...Of course, maybe I just missed all those worldwide 'Christian Terrorist' attacks on schools in Christian countries over the last 50 years. Yeah, that must be it."

The head of a national, Texas-based pro-family group says a recent hostage drill at a New Jersey high school, which portrayed conservative Christians as terrorists, is reflective of a dangerous philosophy that has become prevalent in many parts of America, where it is having negative effects on education.

A local paper reports that a drill at Burlington Township High School in New Jersey involved police portraying mock gunmen, described as "members of a right-wing fundamentalist group called the 'New Crusaders' who don't believe in the separation of church and state." The fake gunmen were said to have been "seeking justice because the daughter of one [member] had been expelled for praying before class."

While this article disturbs me, why not fight fire with fire. Robert, the next time CAIR or some other Muslim fundamentalist group claims bigotry or "Islamophobia", use this story as an example. Say something like "Well obviously not all Muslims are being portrayed as terrorists." I know it will probably mean nothing to most people, but at least it may take some wind out of their sails temporarily.

All this PC ness makes me want to punch myself in the sack! How can people be so afraid to offend the enemy that even preparation for their attack is done in a way that CAIR will approve? I hope the Christians were at least wearing turbines and yelling AHLALALALALA.

If they try anything with schools and American children and there is still no outrage, I’m moving to Venus!

This sounds like one of those Theocracy scaremongers' vision of the future.

the daughter of one [member] had been expelled for praying before class.

Do they really do this? Or are they just getting the idea out there? Repeat something often enough and people will start to believe it.

I think we can now add New Jersey to the list of Dhimmi-USA. Lets see Dearborn, Minneapolis, . . .

I guess they want plenty of training because they know they can only push for so long before they get pushed back, The government has chosen sides They are with Islam.

If New Jersey gets attacked I will say, tough, you brought it on yourself. What did you expect, some in your state cheered 9-11 and you seem blame/fear the Christians. Now you have sent a message to the islamists, we are with you in this destroy all Christians jihad! That’s right if Jesus were alive today NJ would be having a lottery to see who gets to participate in his crucifixion. Patriotic parents of NJ, be advised, if your children are taken and beheaded on video for all to see, take it up with YOUR alleged authorities. In 45 we may have crushed the Nazis like the bugs they were, but Hitler is remembered fondly every birthday in NJ. Another in what is becoming a long list of what I warmly call, piece’s of crap states.

which portrayed conservative Christians as terrorists,

Come now, we all know that Christians hijack airliners and fly them into buildings; take over schools and murder children; blow them selfs and others to shreds with suicide belts; and have done so for the last 40 years.

So given these facts, why is it unreasonable to portray Christians as the terrorists they really are, given their bloody murderous history?

Gawd, these people are STUPID!

Well it certainly is good to know that the Pres. is terrorizing someone. I was beginning to lose faith. Kudo’s Mr. President!

Posted by: tgusa [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 2, 2007 10:50 PM

A "Christian Terrorist" a real misnomer. The I can't think of any terrorist acts committed by Christians. The conflict between the Catholics and Protestants in Northern Ireland does not qualify as "Christian terrorism" because they are not Christians. The only act that comes to my mind is shooting of Abortion providers. Maybe five incidences in the past 30 years. Remember David Koresh? The Wacko from Waco? He was a terrorist but not a committed Christian. He was a member of a founding cult. The same with Jim Jones. His followers committed acts of terror in Jim Jones' name. They all drank poison and many including children were murdered. The Solar Temple Cult in Quebec is another example. Many died. Remember Charles Manson? All these leaders from these cults quote from the Bible. They have never had a personal relationship with Christ Jesus. Just like Islam, they all belonged to cults. And very often in cults including Islam, murders are justified in their theology. The Christian doctrine encourages to love their enemies and turn the other cheek.

Now if Police were portraying mock gunmen, described as a "disgusted parents group" who believe that their children are being intellectually abused by an educational system that defines education as brainwashing children into the latest political, social and moral views of the National Education Association.
And The fake gunmen were said to have been "seeking justice because none of their children could could locate Mexico or Canada on a map, or identify the century the Civil War occured in."

I could identify with that.

The only thing that they left out of their mock terrorist attack, was that the school children were innocent Muslims who just wanted to be left alone to study the Constitution of the United States.

Posted by: rational [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 2, 2007 11:00 PM

I can't see anything wrong with preparing a student body with a mock Christian terrorist attack. Those Christians have been dis membering non-Christians throughout the world for over 1400 years. It is about time the Christians got what is coming to them!
I hope our school has the fortitude to prepare my children. Now that they know Islam is a religion of peace this would have to follow in a series of truths on religion. Right!

God I only wished!

As you can see by what Allahfanculo and tgusa said Bush is your greatest supporter and asset. Without him the Republicans would still control both houses. No doubt a real Republican or Conservative would be in the white house. We would be kicking ass...

When the words Terror and Bush come together I hear the words like "Religion and Peace" and "Men of Faith". He is however a terror to the English language. We might as well speak Spanish because the King George version of English is just as hard on the ears.

They COULD have just used the generic term "Terrorist Group."

This says a lot about the lack of sincerity in truly protecting "religious freedoms" in this country.

Christianity is STILL seen as a bigger threat in the States than Islam.

Ironically though, I've yet to hear of Christian beheadings, mutilation, acid throwing, mass killing of innocent school children, or the call for the utter destruction of Israel.

Haaa. You're one funny Moslem, Ahmed. But what the hey all you guys are hilarious. I love you guys for what you are, for what you dare to be: Moslems. Now that's comedic, in a tragi-comic sorta way.

But you're sounding a bit like the unfunny comedienne Rosie right now. By any objective measure, Bush ran a surgical 3 wk military campaign, deposed a dictator hip-deep in Jihad war terror operations, and continues to operate a benign occupation of that oil rich hell-hole Iraq. The anti-American media (which is to say, all media) have not reported any American terror operations. And that includes the inimitable Al-JizScareYa.

You won't experience terror from the white men until sometime around Stage 2 Sharia. That's when the street action will start.

MoslemsLyingCryingHoverOverLolitaThighing&SighingSeeTheNobleMartyrsDying

Don't forget, disregard the traffic signs and all streets are 2-way. A healthy gun running business already exists from the States into Europe, featuring mostly handguns and automatic weapons, including ammunition supplies. It's a small but steady stream.

As you Moslems close your pincers on the pussy EUrabians, our forefathers, this black market will explode in size, arming the free to save themselves while they still have a chance.

Even les Belges and the Swedes will take up arms.

Well, probably not the Swedes.

The new generic school marching theme for all such dhimmi-wits:

"SUICIDE IS PAINLESS".

Posted by: profitsbeard [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 3, 2007 12:47 AM

The problem are atheist liberals within the Democratic party, they hate Christians of all denominations with a passion. However their hatred seems to be only aimed at western Christians, Muslim fundies OTOH are given a free pass to do as they see fit.

In the liberal view Muslims cannot do wrong and if you attempt to bring up any examples of Muslim terrorist actions, liberals invariably bring up their ultimate white terrorist(whom they label Christian even though he wasn't) Timmothy McVeigh and then the Crusades to silence debate.

IMO these atheist liberals have shown themselves to be nothing but cultural marxists hellbent on wrecking this country from the inside out.

It was a high school though. Don't you think all the kids will be rolling their eyes, saying 'yeah right!'? They aren't that easy to manipulate.

Also, if this supposed group is portrayed as wanting everything jihadists want and using terrorism to get it, most of our message is getting across in a neat package - and the kids know to change the label...

Another missing theme was having the authorities contact international Muslim leaders who have had experience dealing with intractible Jewish extremists in Israel who refused all reasonable requests to convert to Islam. And how the authorities were informed of the benefits of submitting to Allah; a subsequent forced conversion of all school staff and students to Islam solved the problem and ended the crisis. With the expulsion of the corrupting influence of Christianity, everyone lived in peace and tolerance and freedom and equality, just as the Qur'an teaches.

Since terrorists in Iraq were caught with plans of New Jersey schools, perhaps the day will come when these bigots will be praying to the Christian God or begging a Christian to say a prayer for them when real Muslims show up.
The devil works where God has been shown the door unfortunately teaching lessons that liberals think they are too intelligent to learn.

In WWII, the people practiced defence of the homeland from the Nazis and the Japs, In the 50s and 60s the people practiced self defence in preparation for an attact from the Russians; since the 1972 Munich olympic attack and the airplane hijackings in the early seventies, through the 1979 Iranian embassy takeover, through the constant Muslim onslaught worldwide in the 80s and 90s, through the ever increasing wave of attacks, assassinations, ethnic cleansings, intimidations, extortions, feats of bravado, rapes, executions, and outright acts of war, the enemy has identified itself as Islam...and people seem afraid to call Islam the enemy....

....I call Islam an enemy and a threat to all who endear freedom and to all who endear life over death, and to all who endear love over hate....

Muslims...bah!...you do not want these people in your neighborhood...Ban Muslim Immigration now....start fighting back....

Posted by: exsgtbrown [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 3, 2007 6:23 AM

The Resistance,

I remember that. The media loved to portray the violence as Protestant vs. Catholic in Ireland when the actual dispute had nothing to do with religion.

The media used those terms based on the majority religion of each area when, like you said, the people fighting probably weren't anything more than nominally religious, at best. Unlike Islamic terrorists, the IRA members were NOT getting their ideology from any religious source.

Posted by: Cheeky Human [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 3, 2007 7:26 AM

Maybe Abdullah sees Bush better than his own people do.

If he instills terror in someone, guess who that would be? No wonder the MSM media has run a nonstop "let's all hate Bush campaign" to convince those who choose not to think for themselves that he is wrong.

Personally if they MSM tells me I should think a certain way, I am extremely suspect of that way of thinking.
I have been this way since Woodard and Bernstein.
The very first thing I noticed when living in Germany in the early eighties was that line we had been fed that everybody hates America was a load of crap.

Yesterday, a bleeding heart liberal was spouting (illogical, as opposed to the well thought out opinions of some JW posters) we should get out of Iraq crap in my yard. I looked him in the eye and said "I guess you are one the BUSH HATERS?" The look on his face was priceless. I don't think he has ever in his life been labeled a bigot. He eventually said yes and then started in about the draft and how only poor people served in Viet Nam. And spewing cliche rhetoric about war in General, including the fire-bombing of Dresden. Come to think of it this guy looked a little like Kurt Vonnegut.

I really hope that, in this case, "fundamentalist Christian" was used as a code for "fundamentalist Muslim" and that everyone involved did a "nudge, nudge, wink, wink, know what I mean..." every time Christians were mentioned.

It's hard to imagine that people can be so stupid as to believe in Christian terrorists... oops, I almost forgot about Rosie O' and her ilk.

Why couldn't they have been political terrorists with no religion mentioned? That way, they would have avoided offending any religious group.

Yep. they were able to do the drill with a minimum of hassle. That's what's important. They had a drill.

Another posting here at JW mentions that schools are woefully unprepared for a Beslan style attack. This school is a little more prepared.

Muslims, radical islamofacist and moderates ( if there is such a thing) alike use the Crusades as a rallying point. I like them recalling the Crusades to our memory. After all, the Crusades were in response to aggressive, islamofacists of and earlier day doing exactly what the current day islamofacist are doing, trying to impose their corrupt system on people that reject their phony religion. I appreciate them recalling to memory the Crusades. History teaches great lessons, if only liberals could learn them.

Christians, stand up and be counted by voicing your opinion and suing the N.J. State school board for mocking, terrorizing and discriminating against Christian beliefs. CAIR and the ACLU would have hulled the school board "asses" into court. So get going you Christians. It is time to be heard that you will no longer be intimidated and trampled on.

Bush is not a Christian. He pulled the wool over the Christians eyes. Started a war in the middle east to cover up the merger with Canada and Mexico.

All eyes are on the Middle East instead of dealing with the problems in our own USA. (The horrendous debt, the selling out of the middle class, the infrastructure, the illegal aliens over running our country and ....

Most of you know nothing about how he is selling out his own country to the global interests which are his and his father's.

Woe to us all as Christians first of all and the rest of you who love the idea of democracy.

Screw the PC Police

You have to remember to the Democratic party, their proxies in the teachers unions and the officials running the government indoctrination centers...errr....schools the Christians ARE the enemy.

Christians tend not to buy into the politically correct, amoral and nihilistic value system that is being taught in government schools. They also tend to believe there is such a thing as right and wrong.

Marxism is a religion, and the first thing it needs to do is to destroy all other religions and also all family structures in order to make the individual totally dependent and thus enslaved to the state. It is for the "common good", you know. The Marxists in this country and Europe are allied with the Islamofascists. Their goals are one in the same-the destruction of western civilization.
