The headline on the United American Committee press release is startling: "CAIR Seattle Chapter defies National Headquarters, joins rally denounce to Hamas and Sharia law"!
On March 31, 2007, concerned citizens across the nation stood in defiance of tyranny, murder, and intimidation. The United American Committee led the second annual Rally Against Islamofascism Day. Supporters rallied to denounce acts of violence and oppression committed by Islamic Jihadis, and rallied against what they believed were dangerous subversive actions of the organization CAIR, the Council on American Islamic Relations. In a surprise turn of events Arsalan Bukhari, president of the Seattle, Washington chapter of the CAIR, defied CAIR's national headquarters and joined the UAC rallies in denunciation of Jihadism, Hamas, Sharia law, and Islamic militancy.(SEATTLE, WA - 04/02/2007) - In a stark departure from the example set by CAIR's national headquarters, the Seattle chapter participated in the rally against Islamofascism, denouncing Jihadism, Hamas, Sharia law, and efforts to transform America into an Islamic theocracy. CAIR’s current national spokesman, Ibrahim Hooper, is on record in support of such an anti-American agenda stating, “I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future.” Other CAIR chapters were provided the opportunity to participate, but did not.
The UAC is now asking the remaining elements of CAIR to join with their Seattle counterpart in condemnation of Sharia law, Islamic militancy, and specific terrorist entities such as Hamas and Hezbollah. The UAC has always maintained a policy of openly encouraging Muslims dedicated to democracy and the rule of non-religious law to join in events. Unfortunately, CAIR does not appear to be committed to participation as a whole, only in Seattle. Seattle Director Arsalan Bukhari has taken a unique stance in an organization which has had several prominent members convicted on terrorism charges. Though CAIR has issued previous statements against terrorism, they have refused numerous UAC requests to openly denounce several terrorists groups listed by the U.S. State Department. Further, CAIR is so heavily using lawsuits to intimidate detractors, that Congress has introduced legislation that prohibits suing Americans who report suspicious activity. In light of this, the UAC applauds Mr. Bukhari for his support in denouncing the aggression and intimidation his organization supports.
However, CAIR-Seattle is painting a very different picture of events. Their press release, which is oddly datelined "Washington, D.C." (Ibrahim, did you dash this one off for the Seattle crew?), says:
CAIR-SEATTLE CHALLENGES PARTICIPANTS IN ANTI-MUSLIM 'RALLY'(WASHINGTON, D.C., 4/2/07) - On Saturday, March 31, CAIR-Seattle President Arsalan Bukhari challenged the anti-Muslim views of a small group of people who took part in a protest against "Islamofascism."
Bukhari tried to help the handful of protest participants understand the reality of the American Muslim experience and Islam, but was met with hostility based on false information about Islam and Muslims promoted by Internet hate sites.
After refuting the anti-Muslim smears, Bukhari gave two Qurans to the protesters. Unfortunately, the organizers of the event later falsely claimed that Bukhari "joined" the rally.
"I hope to follow up with the protesters to teach them more about Islam and have them meet local Muslims," said Bukhari. "I believe they are good at heart, but are misled by the propaganda fed to them by anti-Muslim bigots."
Bukhari said CAIR's research has shown that anti-Muslim prejudice decreases when people of other faiths know more about Islam and have an opportunity to interact with ordinary Muslims. He added that it is unfortunate that the protest organizers lied in a public statement by falsely claiming he shared their bigoted views.
Bigoted views? So Bukhari wants to go on record saying that opposition to "Islamofascism...Jihadism, Hamas, Sharia law, and efforts to transform America into an Islamic theocracy" amounts to bigotry? Perhaps the intrepid Seattle CAIR rep has gotten himself well positioned between a rock and a hard place.
Anyway, was he supportive of the rally or wasn't he? Jesse Petrilla of the UAC writes:
Certainly, although CAIR just released a press release calling us liars and denying the thing, those present who talked to him said he insisted he denounced Jihad and the worse aspects of Islam, and that he was on the same side as us. (Note the CAIR press release says it's from DC, not the Washington State chapter). Here is part of a report from someone who was there:"As we left, we thanked the young Man from CAIR for coming and for being so willing to talk to so many. Although spirited, all attendees behaved as ladies and gentlemen at all times, as did the Man from CAIR. He ran after us as we left, to thank us for talking so much with him. He told us that he and we are on the same side, and he listed being opposed to jihad and the worst aspects of Islam, and he supported patriotism, etc. We told him that, if what he says is true, then we are on the same side. However, Muslims have taught us to mistrust each and every one of them and everything they say or write, so the Man from CAIR and his fellow Muslims would have to prove themselves through their actions."

I'm trying to collect other testimonies right now, but here is another testimony from Steve, the guy in the picture with him above:
"S. Arsalan Bukhari, President of CAIR Seattle Chapter, 9545 1st Avenue NE, Suite 272, Seattle, WA 98115, www.cairseattle.org, appeared in a light blue shirt. He agreed to letting us take his photo. He agreed to oppose terrorism, violence, and jihadism. When asked how many terrorists CAIR had turned in, he could not provide an example. He argued for the suing of 'John Does' in the 'Flying Imams' case, but said that CAIR only helped in the lawsuit, was not a party to the lawsuit. I told him politely that we were angry with CAIR that typical American citizens were being sued for reporting events that appeared suspicious to them to the authorities. This was not right. More of our discussions in a follow-up report."
From Steve's report, it sounds as if Arsalan Bukhari was trying to dance on both stools, and now risks falling between them.

Please remember that as the Jihad moves forward in Western lands, we may see small groups of muslims apparently come to their senses and side with those who are denouncing "islamists", "violent islam", "islamic terrorism", and other such nonsense. Do not fall for this islamic tactic as it is used to infiltrate organizations with muslims. I would even question the legitimacy of well-known apostates who try to "explain" to us stupid infidels "how islam works".
For some reason the past 1,400 years of islamic jihad has produced not a single islamic country that tolerates others. And they will deceive in almost any manner, including false conversions, double crossing, and false apostasy to spread islam.

This is the key to winning against CAIR.
Protest them! Call them to renounce sharia and sexism. Tell them to give up support for terror groups that support sharia and islamfacism. Force them to look like sexist and bigots. Put them on the defensive. CAIR is good at attacking but sucks at defense (Because their position is so weak by a western viewpoint). Just like Arsalan Bukhari above who is forced to have to defend and impossible position.

Arsalan sounds as if he got off message, if ever so slightly, from what would meet with approval from the CAIR headquarters. If his position with CAIR is a paying job, I would suggest that he get his resume ready. In the meantime, his beard says to me, "Fundamentalist" just as any Muslim woman wearing a hajab, says, "Fundamentalist." No, not all men wearing beards are making a political statements, but in the case of Muslims, beards are mandatory in strict Islamic societies, and the lack thereof, is punishable. In the West, Muslim men with beards indicate a certain level of fanaticism as do women covered with a veil.

...If you plan to protest openly..have your questions ready , just in case a Muslim appears, have your examples ready....do not reply to questions you have no answer for...Thank the Muslim for his question,, get his name and phone number and tell him you will get back to him later...(note , he will become infuriated and start to call you names), Have several instances of weird Islamic violence on hand to ask about....have as much info on hand about the actions of CAIR and about many of the current Islamic leaders in the world...do not protest unprepared...be prepared for verbal assault, it will happen....and do not go alone....

After refuting the anti-Muslim smears, Bukhari gave two Qurans to the protesters.Why Qurans? Arsalan Bukhari should have given the protesters two or more Hadiths of Bukhari. Only problem - he could write his own hadiths, call them Bukhari and pass them for the real thing.
Call me cynical, but I think this was taquiya on steroids. What else would he do - go there and call them apes and pigs? That would take some balls.

Oh, well, such a denial is to be expected. It is not, however, to be believed.
We were there; I took the picture; "George Mason" and I talked to the young man, and he did, in fact, say that he denounced violence, supported the Constitution, and was a patriotic American.
It's entirely possible that he got in trouble for this!
We told him that we would love to believe him, but that because of taqiyya and other religiously sanctioned forms of deception, we could not, and that Islam's reputation had been established through its violent behavior around the world; in order to change its reputation, it would have to change its behavior.
That, in fact, was the last comment we made before shaking his hand and leaving the parking lot where the rally was held.

III. There was another cair jihadi there who has been 'a player' for years.

There was a small piece in the Chicago Tribune today about a Muslim in an Arkansas college town who financially helped a tiny Jewish community build a Temple. He is a wealthy building contractor who moved to the US in the '70's.
He obviously did this for his own purposes. He is no apologist for Arafat and company and his hero is Anwar Sadat. The article does not describe in detail his own beliefs vis-a-vis Islam, except to say he was quoted that he wanted to get out of the middle east and have a real life.
I will link the story here for all to read, but I was impressed with this guy as a human being. He would appear to be the sort of guy that Hugh has described as highly westernized but cannot make the 'final break' from Islam. He mentions he bought the Torah and Bible at a Barnes and Nobles as he is fascinated by other faiths. This fact alone would make me suspicious of his being an apostate, but, for obvious reasons, may not wish to go this far in public.

The term “political Islam” is redundant if not insulting to Islam.
Every Muslim knows that Islam and “deen” are the most important words in the life of all Muslims. Islam and “deen are mentioned many times in the Koran.
Today, I have completed your “deen”, and have completed my bliss upon you and accepted for you Islam as a “deen”.) [Qur’an 5:3]
Whosoever seeks, other than Islam, a deen, it will not be accepted from him and he, in the Hereafter, is among the losers.) [Qur’an 3:85]
This “deen” demands that ALL aspects of life are to be subjected to and governed by Islam/Allah - from which direction to face when you defecate to which hand you use to wash your ass. Nothing is to be left out. Needless to say politics cannot be separated. The term “political Islam” is redundant if not insulting to Islam as if to say that Islam allows such separation. However the ummah knows that it is in their favor to allow the non-Muslims believe, despite all the evidences, that “religious” Islam is different from “political” Islam.
Would Britain allow Nazis or Italian fascists to come to Britain during WW 2 to recruit troops to fight against Britain and its allies? Would Britain permit unregistered political parties or movements to operate freely and even permit the children of the members of such unregistered political ideology movements to wear their political symbols to schools? Would Britain allow children or Nazi sympathizers to wear the Nazi swastika to school?
For that matter would any western nation not only allow such situations to exist and flourish, but actually protect such unregistered political movements and ideology to recruit troops to fight for their ideology and movement?
Actually not only they would, but they are already doing it.
In Islam there is no separation of religion from state/politics. The West just don’t get it – Islam is also a political ideology, hence mosques are used to make political speeches as well.
There is no separation between civilian and jihadis- everyone is called to jihad, support jihad and protect the Islamic ideology, so jihad calls are made in mosques as well. How many jihadis were recruited at Finsbury Park mosque which was also used as a weapons?
There is no separation between Islam and politics, so Islamic dress code are not just religious dress code, they are political dress code as well – just as the swastika armband is a Nazi dress code. If today, the Ku Klax Klan hood and the Nazi Swastika (revered/mirror image of the Buddhist swastika) are banned from schools (but not from the general public area), why should the hijab and any other political ideology dress code and symbols be allowed?
If the Muslims are saying that there is no separation of politics from Islam, they they should be made to face the consequences of their ideology and beliefs. Every mosque should be treated as a political centre and so be required to be registered as a political centre and subject to the laws and regulations for political parties. Any calls for jihad should be treated as an act against the sovereignty of the nation. Every Islamic dress should be regarded as a political dress as well and should be banned from schools and government offices. If they want to wear it – wear it outside those areas.
If it has a bill, quacks and web feet, it’s a duck, but alas the majority of the west still refuses to call it a duck. Unless they do and treat it as a duck, it will eventually lead to the Islamization of the west.

I don't care how nice you are, how responsible and ordinary you are, how you pay your taxes, how much you say you appreciate secular law. If you are a Muslim, you believe that a serial-raping, slave-trading, child-molesting, extortionist mass murderer was not only an agent of God but is your role model, and there is something wrong with you.
I don't have to respect your beliefs, I don't have to believe your words, because There. Is. Something. Wrong. With. You, and I can see every day your second self bombing, raping, mutilating, threatening, and killing all over the world.
