Atlas Shrugs notes that both of our sites, along with Little Green Footballs, Daniel Pipes, Gates of Vienna, and others, are on a list of "fatwaworthy" websites compiled by "Jamal," a UK resident who runs the site "Radical Muslim" (thanks to Tgusa).
Possible fatwaworthy sites in the Bloggersphere are many due to the array of sites that contain writings that slander Islam, therefore when I come accross particularly Islamophobic sites I bookmark them under ‘Fatwaworthy?’ Some will be well written while others will be an illogical mess, however, the common denominator between them is that they exist in part or full to spread Islamophobic opinions. Brothers and Sisters, please fell [sic] free to suggest additions to the list.
That list can be found in the sixth category of links (scroll down almost to the bottom of the page) in the left margin of the main page.
Some may ask ‘What is a Fatwa?’, while others may wonder what had made them worthy as with those deviants whom have recently linked to me in this respect. A fatwa is an Islamic religious ruling, a scholarly opinion on a matter of Islamic law. Therefore, when the Shari’ah again rules the world (inshAllah) the importance may be placed on a fatwa requiring acceptance that Islamophobic sites be peacefully shut down and no longer be permitted to exist. Untill [sic] this occurs it may be considered our duty to list such sites and even write/contact websites, media outlets and relevant officials in order to campaign for such sites be closed.
Not on our watch. But hey, that's why we're fatwaworthy.

How does one behead, or honor-kill a website? Shutting it down would mean persuading the web hosting services to discontinue hosting services. But how difficult or expensive is it for any organization to set up and host their own website, just as companies do? I don't think any of the sites in question should have anything to worry about.
Of course, if shariah takes over, such sites could be blocked, but for that, all ISP's would have to be dictated by a shariah regime what can and what can't be viewed by their customers. Of course, at my work site, some sites, such as faithfreedom.org and islamcomicbook.com are blocked as hate sites, and Srdja Trifkovic's Chronicle magazine is blocked as an extremist site. Sort of the thing we can expect if we ever get a Shariah regime.

How does one "peacefully require acceptance" of anything? More importantly, when is the last time Muslims went about "requiring acceptance" or anything through "peaceful" methods? The music store owners being threatened by Shariaists in Pakistan don't seem to think they're being "peacefully required" to "accept" shutting down their businesses.

Ronin, there are zillions of islamic opinions (fatwa if one prefers) floating around; I have found contradicting fatwas about beards, food, clitorectomy, clothing, and more. How can a Mohammedan live, he follows one mufti's opinion and gets killed by someone following another mufti?

Is it just me, or did I miss that part of "world" history when Shari'ah ran the show? Hmmm, perhaps if another "islamic wish" is spoken frequently enough then that "wish" will come true! Or mabey that author and I just have different ideas of what a "world" is. If shari'ah did in fact rule the world at one unfortunate time, then this could be a good opportunity for a rewriting of history, and this time it should be written while taking into account the "feeeeeelings" of the forever offended and eternally maligned islamists.

Well, I was going to comment about that "peacefully shut down" remark in the article but I see that REMOTE CONTROL has beat me to the punch.
It seems that anyone these days can issue a Fatwa against anything. In the end, this just diminishes their overall effectiveness. Sort of like a non-Mafia Italian making threats to everyone, just to bolster his own ego.
Is their some sort of secret, candlelit committee that issues these Fatwa's? I don't think so, else they would be fewer, and more selective.
Just because someone is Muslim, does that give them the right to declare a Fatwa??? What gives them that right and who determines what is Holy and what is un-Holy? I thought God was the ultimate judge of such things...

Tgusa, since fake beards likely did not exist 1350 years ago, a fake beard would be innovation, No beard would be better than a glued on one.
I forgot the exact arabic word, but the opinion I read about beards was that one is not required but is a good practice in following El Perfecto.

Further, I think it is high time that our government take these fatwas against bloggers seriously. I have been reading this site for quite awhile and have never seen anyone here issue a holy decree or open solicitation for murder for hire against any individual or group.
Solicitation or incitement to murder should be taken most seriously. If anyone is using the internet to solicit or hire a hit on someone that, in itself, is demonstrates criminal intent to cause harm.
Any religious organization involved in the solicitation of murder for hire should be prosecuted under RICOH. Close their mosque, seize all their assets, prosecute them to the fullest extent. Their is a difference between free speech and hate speech which incites or solicits murder.

I am curious what they serve in UK water as Abdullah who posts here makes the same kind of all encompassing judgements which Jamal does.
The English have this same delusion of grandeur as witnessed by the BBC leftists who actually think the world revolves around that island and they matter as a "force". This attitude apparently rubs off on the immigrant Muslims in thinking mandates they conjur up matter.

Nothing is so dangerous as little girls asking pure questions of idiots, ice cream vendors bringing happiness to miserable people, college girls becoming women who will rock the cradle of the world and people who actually show up and labor to make themselves better instead of blaming others.
This site is a threat as it is the final piece in the dangerous Islamic puzzle in being a site of Truth.

All I want to know about this is when, when, WHEN are we going to start treating these types of sites the way we would treat, oh, say, Hitler youth sites or sites calling to turn America communist (which Berkeley and other college campuses routinely to but that's digressing) and subject them to be shut down and their creators jailed at will. We can't even treat sites like these properly, let alone deal with mass muslim immigration, CAIR or Muslim Student Associations. That this site is till up and running is why we should be scared of our ability to deal with Jihad, not as much so with Iran's gum-flapping and empty threats whose sole purpose is to convince the Infidel world they can't take down Iran when they could easily do so anytime they chose to get serious about it.

We should be equally concerned about those lost liberals who sympathize with all the victimized Muslims. They would probably cheer for Jamal's efforts. Maybe they fund him.
Unless there are some drastic changes at all levels Europe will be destroyed well before Muslims make up anything close to an overall majority. Ditto in the US.
Together the bleating hearts and the Muslims who have decided that all humans should submit to their religion are a very powerful force. It will take an equally powerful force to bring the former around to their senses.

Who gets to go first?

Why do you think this is a solution? There are many mixed marriages already. Nothing has changed as far as I know.

I mentioned this when I first came on this site. LGF, Kevin V, and many others are banned from the clubs of Airlines for not letting-I guess trolls and others to be on their websites and give their opinion! Then they discriminate against all these sites for they do so well! It is another attack on our freedom until we are unable to communicate. I say like Bush 'root them out where ever they are!' Here's something to do. Why not take a look at the websites he approves of, especially what he calls news sites. Some of them like Infowars are just crazy. Others such as What Really Happened (I used to go there) and Signs of the Times (I used to go there too) are not just kooky but virulently anti-Semetic as well.

I for one do not hate all muslims. The muslims who want to live their lives in dar-al-islam are just fine with me. Those who want to live separated from us, the kufr. The mixing of islam and kufr will never work, it didn't work in the 7th century and won't ever work.
The hatred begins where muslims try to force their belief system on us. The hatred begins when muslims try to tax us heavily to support their population,so they don't have to work (got to pray 5 times a day).
I realize "booty" has to come from somewhere, gets to be mighty slim pickens among other muslims. Hatred begins when you tell me that women are worth one half of a man. Hatred begins when you tell me I can't be an individual, showing my face is part of being an individual. I refuse to wear a damned black bag. Don't impose your belief system on the unwilling. I know your "prophet" instructed you to force "allah" on us or to "become victorious through terror".
You see, we do not believe that you have the "straight path". We believe (with just as much zeal as you ) that your "god" is not God. We are just as sure he's not as you are sure he is. Never the twain will meet.
