Hizballah avoiding attacks in US because they'd provoke too strong a response

And right now, without such attacks, they can operate more or less freely under the radar screen. "Hizbullah avoiding attacks on America to escape US wrath," by Hilary Leila Krieger in the Jerusalem Post, with thanks to the American Israeli Patriot:

Hizbullah hasn't conducted attacks in America out of concern that it would provoke too strong a response and disrupt the organization's fund-raising in the US, according to Federal Bureau of Investigation assessments.

"They want to maintain a low profile by engaging in criminal activity [but] not direct attacks," Thomas Fuentes, special agent in charge of the FBI's International Operations, said Wednesday at a foreign press briefing. "They've not been enthusiastic about doing it on US soil because of the attention and reaction that would occur." Fuentes said any attack in America would mean a large boost in US resources devoted to countering Hizbullah.

the hiz boys only to well the response after 9-11, al-aqaeda made the mistake of thinking all presidents the same as clinton, did not realize that Bush would really bomb the crap out of them (for a while) enough to make the Hez boys think.

The lone jihadi trying to buy claymores & automatic weapons for the purpose of selling to local gangs or the occassional 'lone crazy' shotgunning 5 people in a Hallmark greetings card shop is low key in the sense these actions are not organized into 'terrorist groups'. FBI and law enforcement seem to be looking for 'cells' of organized cadres.

If the FBI and others don't find organization and group activity then they will simply issue bulletins to schools and warn to be mindful of people holding extremists beliefs who 'might be trying to get jobs driving school buses.'

No group - no problem! Under the Radar.

So, they don't want to arrest them?

"Hizbullah hasn't conducted attacks in America out of concern that it would provoke too strong a response and disrupt the organization's fund-raising in the US, according to Federal Bureau of Investigation assessments."
-- from the article above

Good sense from at least one part of the FBI. The failure to be more aggressive in this country reflects only the intelligent fear of the response. And there is a lesosn there: the Administaration, and other Western governments, want to put Muslims at their ease, even to assure Muslims outside that America, or England, or another Infidel land, is a wonderful place for Muslims to live and thrive. Do we really want that?

Don't we want instead not only to discourage in every way, including a flat prohibitiion, the introduction of more people whose belief-system inculcates permanent hostility to the Infidel nation-state, its legal and political institutions, and to the Infidels among whom one may be allowed to settle, and to enjoy the very fruits of Infidel life and ideas and civliziation that would never have been possible in a society suffused with Islam, but nonetheless Muslims in the West, those who do not leave Islam or reduce their Islam to that of the embarrassed or filiopietistic "I'm a cultural Muslim only" that is often a way of saying "I'm not a Muslim at all but I don't quite know how to explain or admit that."

And don't we want to make sure that Muslims in the West are made well aware that any terrorism in this country, or other countries, will endanger their economic and other forms of wellbeing, for that is the only way to obtain their cooperation -- appeals to their supposed solidarity with Infidels means nothing, goes against the essence of, the tenets of, the attitudes of, the atmospherics of, Islam.

Preparing for War in the Streets of America

"Public information officers or spokesman for law enforcement agencies are purposely downplaying and in some cases lying outright to the public about arrests of Muslims in the US," so said one Federal law enforcement official.

"We have been told what to say, and more important, what not to say, and warned not to deviate from the 'template.'

According to this source, this is causing some officers within various departments of federal agencies to become angry at the 'mandated political spin and pressure" created by 'orders from above." When asked who were giving such orders, this source could only say that it was from the "big boys in Washington DC."
Apparently this is killing morale and "everyone knows it's a joke." "It makes some of us sick, the politically correct shit we have to put up with."

[...]

Specifically this source was responding to inquiries concerning one MOUSA M AMBUELAWI, 22, a Muslim fro St Charles Missouri who was charged buying or attempting to buy grenades, weapons and claymore mines to be used to "prepare for war."

MAN WAS ARMING FOR WAR St Louis Post Dispatch

A St. Charles man obtained fully automatic weapons and tried to buy as many explosives as possible in preparation for what an associate called "war," the FBI says in court documents.

He bought three rifles and a Claymore anti-personnel mine and negotiated for a case of hand grenades, documents obtained by the Post-Dispatch show.

Mousa M. Abuelawi, 22, of Franjoe Court, was arrested Dec. 29 and charged on complaints accusing him of three counts of illegal possession or distribution of a machine gun and conspiracy to violate machine gun statutes.

Abuelawi, a Palestinian immigrant free on $50,000 bond, could not be reached.

The context of the word "war" was not explained in court filings; the FBI declined to comment.

According to the agent, this case "fits a pattern we've been seeing."

"Wea re discoverng more and more trafficking in arms and these kind of explosives, the stuff you see in the Middle East."

There are more and specific cases that illustrate that there are Muslim men here in the US that are "preparing to fight on the streets of our cities, or at least that's what they think they are going to do." And so they are "buying these weapons and even explosives, stealing them in many cases, preparing for this eventuality."

The men invloved in this movement commonly refered to as "the paintball jihad" Besides buying weapons and anything they can get their hands on, they are practicing urban combat.

"What is surprising to us, such as the trafficking in rocket launchers ( a reference to case in Albany) is that we are seeing more of this, more attempts to buy the kinds of weapons that used to be unheard of in law enforcement circles. It's a growing problem, one that we will see in streets before long, I'm afraid."

"The failure to be more aggressive in this country reflects only the intelligent fear of the response. "

.......ABSOLUTELY....

.....OF course...but it should be the Fear by Muslims of our response....

...seems the world is constantly caving in due to fear of Muslims...

....time to change that line of thought....

They will have 7,000 more jihadists in place if they decide to have a go at it.

Hizbullah is already under an FBI investigation for a cigarette smuggling racket that aimed at funding Hizbullah - covered on FNC in a documentary: Behind the smokescreen. Batting for Hizbullah is Islamo-Jew Stanley Cohen, who has in the past represented and supported Hamas in Israeli courts, and called on the US to militarily intervene against Israel on behalf of Hamas.

There are too many CAIR, ACLU and other Lefto-Jihadi groups who would go down the mat for them. Even if they pulled off a 9/11.

hezb'ollah is actually right for once.

(I believe I said something to this tune elsewhere, but) they know the response from within the US would prove so severe, so violent, so swift, and so conclusive that they would never be able to conduct any operations again here...because they wouldn't be able to BE here...and nothing the PC crowd could do will stop it, because they, too, would face the same music...and that is a colossal UNDERstatement.

Yes, this time hezbollah is right...for once.
(Thanks for proving us right, nasrallah)
PS-Robert, they just tipped you off: the fact that DO pay attention to this site after all.
