Musharraf wants to impose Sharia through democratic norms? That's news to us.

Islamabad: The militant cleric who declared enforcement of Sharia in Pakistan's federal capital and gave a deadline to the government, remains defiant and claims that he has guns on the mosque premises to defend his headquarters if authorities tried to launch crackdown.In a telephonic interview from Lal Masjid with Gulf News yesterday, Maulana Abdul Aziz reiterated his claims that the mosque has guns on its premises and his followers will defend themselves if the government opted for any sort of crackdown.
He said that female students of Jamia Hafsa will never vacate the occupied library building until Sharia is enforced in the country.
"If the government relied on action to force female students out of this occupied building, our students are ready to separate their souls from their bodies to save the Jamia and honour of this seminary," Aziz claimed.
Artificial crisis
He vehemently denied opposition's allegations that he along with his brother and mosque's assistant chief Abdul Rashid Ghazi was toeing the government's line to project an artificial crisis and said that he has nothing to do with secret agencies.
"I am a follower of only Allah and no one else. We don't care for such baseless allegations, our only goal is to enforce Sharia in Pakistan through jihad while the political-religious leaders want to impose Sharia though democratic norms, which we don't admire," he added.

....guns in a Mosque?......The Marines in Anbar will tell you that they already knew it....They will also tell that people in the mosque shoot the guns (in the mosque) at the Americans patrolling nearby....and the dhimmicrats will not allow the marines to kill the beast that is killing them....

I honestly believe todays version of liberalism is a disease. No matter how much evidence they are presented, they will deny the truth. I have been posting on a TN news MB and dealing with some libs. They blame the US, Israel for all of Islam's violence. They even think jihad is peace. Check it out

Huh? So, let me see, shari'ah is only good if it comes through jihad - if you get the exact same shari'ah through legislation, or elections, its no good?

I read a bit of the thread you posted. Looks like you've been up late. This appears to be the same thread I visited yesterday. Started with the bacon book marker. You know, I'm begining to think the liberal disease you mention is actually connected to the baby boomers that respected the Haight and Ashbury movement. They are still clinging to this ideology that we can smoke some pot and do some acid with these Islamic leaders and form some sort of understanding. "Yeah peace man, an inner struggle...cool man."
Unfortunately these are the people in power now. Enter SanFranNan, Ted Kennedy, and the majority of the 50 something PC dhimicrats.

Is not this a good thing that the kooks have imprisoned themselves?
Should this not be a policy that should be replicated so all lunatic Muslims who love terrorism can be in library prison. It would be cheaper than bombing them if all we had to do is say NO and build a library for them to foul.
