"Islamist Group Denies Report of Hoyer Invitation to Visit Congress," by Patrick Goodenough for CNSNews.com, with thanks to James:
(CNSNews.com) - The Muslim Brotherhood has denied an Egyptian newspaper report saying that a visiting delegation led by House Majority Leader Steny Hoyer had invited members of the radical Islamist group to visit the U.S. Congress."These reports are totally groundless," Muslim Brotherhood executive bureau member Mohamed Mursi said in a statement posted on the organization's website.
Mursi said the group's stance on dialogue with any foreign official was that "this dialogue should be held through sound diplomatic methods in the presence of a representative from the Egyptian Foreign Ministry."
The independent Egyptian daily al-Mesryoon reported Thursday that the Hoyer delegation had invited Muslim Brotherhood leader Mohamed Mahdi Akef and several other officials to visit the U.S. next month and address lawmakers on Capitol Hill.
Hoyer twice last week met representatives of the Muslim Brotherhood, a group that spawned Hamas and supports the establishment of a Muslim caliphate.
The Maryland Democrat's office played down the encounters -- at the Egyptian parliament and, later, at the U.S. ambassador's residence -- saying they were not "personal" meetings but had taken place in the context of meetings with Egyptian legislators.

Hoyer's voters need to contact him and tell him to drop this invite otherwise he will lose out on the next election.

The "meetings but had taken place in the context of meetings with Egyptian legislators."
What difference does that make?

Such is the tangled web when Democrats try to play leaders and jump in bed with terrorists. Nance ends up playing a fool for Assad screwing up Olmert's off the record comments and Hoyer in bed with Muslim Brotherhood officials is finding out that what one Muslim says is what one Muslim says at that moment and not the entire Brotherhood.
100 days and Democrats have done nothing but look like fools which they are. Gee President Bush maybe isn't the dolt so many have accused him of being.

Their concern for international legality and the respect of diplomatic rules is truly heartwarming.
(Or perhaps they are laughing at Nancy Pelosi?)

The 5th column threw out this little bait, just to see what public reaction would be.
They hoped, and gambled, there would be little to no notice or resistance...they gambled wrong.
It was (a comon tactic of those who did it) a simple case of an unofficial "official" invitation...
...same people who wanted to know what the definition of "is" is years before, but that's less important for now.
Bottom line, the 5th column know they're going to have to find another way to bring America down from the inside like they've been trying to do long before the rise of islamofascism.
Hoyer got hit on this one, he knows it, and he knows everyone else knows it, too...let the chips fall & move on to the next issue...since it's just another effort by islamofascists to feel us out for weaknesses-they found none on this angle of attack.
