US grabs Iranian weapons bound for Taliban

This could be more evidence that Ahmadinejad is aiding Sunni groups (including Hamas), as part of an effort to position himself as the leader of the global jihad against the Americans, not just as the de facto leader of the world's Shi'ites. From AFP, with thanks to JE:

WASHINGTON: Coalition forces have intercepted Iranian-made mortars and explosives in Afghanistan destined for the Taliban, the top US military chief said yesterday, indicating an expanding Iranian challenge to US forces in the region.

General Peter Pace, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, said the weapons were intercepted in the Kandahar region within the past month, but it was not known if any elements of the Iranian Government were involved.

"It is not as clear in Afghanistan which Iranian entity is responsible. But we have intercepted weapons in Afghanistan headed for the Taliban that were made in Iran," he told defence reporters.

"We do not know with the same clarity that we know in Iraq who was involved. So the fact that we know is: made in Iran, being delivered to the Taliban in Afghanistan, being intercepted by coalition forces."

So the fact that we know is: made in Iran,
you know the iranias are hehind your losses of men, now go and defend your military. this pc ness needs to stop, and send to iran in like, take them down with you missiles. if clinton can lob over misiles in the dark to iraq in the 90's, you can actually send over many more with your proof of iranian murderous mischief, you may sign the misiles, and send them on their way.

I guess they run out of Russian and American weapons. They had to get them from somewhere.

This is great for our guys! It is all the proof we need don't we Iran is the one we should bomb, they already declared war! It is time to shut his big mouth up and his sneaky lying bs that leftist find attractive or something but we need to hit him hard! This sht may send a good message we are done with Admadman-Itolya too! He sends them into Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, Lebanon, anywhere to kill people! Admadajine needs to go! Do not ever let him on U.S. soil again and stop all visa's! We will never win the war until Admadjine and the Iatolya are destroyed! The people of Iran should over rule him or kill him themselfs. Otherwise we will! Evil evil! Admadajine thinks he is going to make revelations happen. He thinks he is the great one pbuh! He thinks he will make the Palestinians the people of Israel! He is causing all this havoc!!!

Oh, my! I can see it now...

How dare we interfere with their religious observances like this! What outrage! What torture!
That's a violation of the geneva convention, along with placing panties on heads and such!
Call the ACLU!

lol

(I agree on arming the minorities with them, combined, they outnumber the persians, and most of the country hates the mOslem munchkins guts anyway...let 'em take care of business themselves.)

Nope...just finished what she should've in 1991.
Backed with 17 UN resolutions (as if we needed them) the islamic empire was effectively split in half.

iran's effectively surrounded, as is syria.
(No, I didn't capitalize them for a reason)

The only thing worth criticism is this politically correct application to current status, instead of common sense, to deal with the iranian-supplied (and often iranian-manned) terrorists continuing this secular violence, and attacking troops.

Kill the racketeers (ooops, I meant imams) and the propaganda terrorists masquerading as journalists for al-arabiya & al-jazeera, as well as the kook fringe website aiders and abettors pretending to be journalists (an in-the-field executionable offense at discretion of the area commander), bomb the armories (ooops, I meant mosques), impose news blackout, and anyone leaking anything out without clearance is subject to arrest for aiding and abetting the enemy in a war zone.
Denying the enemy the media is a HUGE benefit.

That's just scratching the surface.

The ACLU, the UN, Nato, they scare me! They are in ties with (them!) Going into Iraq we discover millions of dollars to buy off our allies! Kofi so crooked! The UN is the problem! We cannot get no where they are a thorn in our ...side! What we learned of what they stole already paid for the war! This would still be continuing today! No one is being held accountable again!
