"Uncovered meat" Sheikh to wage legal jihad

Sheikh Al-Hilali Update: he's going to sue those who accused him of being a jihadist. He is enraged at accusations that he funneled money to Al-Qaeda and Hizballah. All right, maybe he didn't. But he did urge Muslims to back Iran, has praised Iraqi jihadists, has called 9/11 "God's work," and has claimed that Australia was originally Muslim land. He should sue himself.

"Sheik Alhilali primed to face accusers," from AAP, with thanks to all who sent this in:

Controversial mufti Sheik Taj Aldin Alhilali will return to Australia this week primed to launch legal action against those accusing him of supporting terrorism.

"I will not hesitate to take legal action against anyone who directed at me accusations during my absence," he told SBS Radio from Egypt on Tuesday.

"Betraying the country or giving donations to Hezbollah or any terrorist organisation in Lebanon, these are dangerous accusations.

"This is unacceptable, defamation, without proof, based on malice, racism and based on wrong information."

The Australian Federal Police (AFP) are investigating donations allegedly handed out in Lebanon by Sheik Alhilali to Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah.

According to media reports, the mufti distributed $10,000 to Sheik Bilal Shaaban, the head of the Islamic Unity Movement in Lebanon, who allegedly has links to the radical Islamist movement Hezbollah.

Sheik Alhilali has denied the claim, vowing to clear his name and saying he will cooperate with police when he returns home to Sydney on Friday.

Robert, your link to the AAP story "Sheik Alhilali primed to face accusers" goes to a Jihad Watch entry from 2004 -- "Mufti of Australia: this was Muslim land".

Assalamau Laikum all,

I don’t wish to hijack the thread but this is interesting. Yesterday in Lahore I went to the mall to a rally where hundreds of men and womens protested against religious extremism, Talibanisation of society and military-mullah alliance.

The rally, organised by the Women Action Forum (WAF), was participated in by representatives of different civil society organisations and students from different educational institutions…my daughter joined them too …but I didn’t…I watched from the sidelines.

Bhutto’s Peoples' Party activists carrying party flags also joined the rally…it was colourful and noisy…but peaceful along with a few police to ensure. I was surprised by the mix of young and old there.

I was sweating in the heat, my daughter (with her Uni friends) marched from the Lahore High Court to Faisal Chowk saying : "No to Talibanisation", "Say no to religious extremism", "No to Military-Mullah Alliance", "Down with fundamentalism" and "Islam does not teach to be a Qabza group like Jamia Hafsa".

That she should abandon her studies for this march shocked me a bit.

They had a few bigwigs like the Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) chairperson Asma Jahangir saying that mullahs were against democracy and supremacy of law and military men use them (mullahs) for their vested interests…..blah blah blah.

Even though my daughter was there …I was thinking that “these peoples really have nothing to complain about…Pak was born to be Islamic…why must sharia be denied to us”. They are wrong to complain.

These peoples don’t know about Jihadwatch.org …and I’m not going to tell them. Sharia is our destiny and mild sharia the destiny of the rest of the world.

My one concern though is the sharp division of opinion between me and my daughter…poor dear…she does not want to see the bigger picture…Allah’s flat earth policy…

If Hilali was a dictatorship the catmeat sheik would be dead and gone by now:

OT, in French elections, DON'T VOTE FOR LE PEN. He is trying to garner votes from muslims. HE IS NOT ANTI-MUSLIM.

There is only one person to vote for Phillippe De Villiers as he is the only true anti-muslim person running for the presidency.

naseems there is nothing in your law that prevents from your sharia to be used by you, so why the f..k complain. if some others do not want to follow your sharia, what businses is of yours?

Naseem -

Your English is very good today, much better than usual.
Good for your daughter, to protest against extremism. Obviously she is much smarter than you.

As for Sheik Alhilali, it's a pity he wasn't deported from Australia long ago. He should be laughed out of court !

I promise not to vote for Le Pen in the french elections.

Heck I promise not to vote at all in the french elections.

You sure he is called Le Pen? I thought it was "Le Biro"

ImNoDhimmi:

Every time the Sheik opens his mouth, he gets in further and deeper and one can only imagine the competency of the lawyer he is likely to retain.

Naseem: Hijacking threads is what you are about.

Ignorance and blindness along with mental tyranny is no way to live life. The more Truth enters your daughter's mind, the deeper the division will be between you and her. Unfortunately, as her courage grows and she continues to speak out for the reasoned goodness of humanity, the evil ones will apply more force to shut her up. This will be true in all Muslim lands including Iraq.
I have an inkling you will be following her someday as this shiek will also be exposed as an evil devil of deception.

Come mothers and fathers
Throughout the land
And don't criticize
What you can't understand
Your sons and your daughters
Are beyond your command
Your old road is
Rapidly agin'.
Please get out of the new one
If you can't lend your hand
For the times they are a-changin'.

"legal Jihad"....an increasingly popular Muslim tactic....and the dhimmis fall for it most of the time....time to play hardball

A moslem who doesn't want to hijack anything? As hard to imagine as it is to imagine a rooster that doesn't crow in the morning.

Naseem it is Friday why aren't you taking the day off like Abdullah.

As for the meat guy suing, this is what they do and will continue to do in suing everyone in the world.

I really feel sorry for Naseem's daughter, for having to put up with a dumb mother. I hope she doesn't suddenly disappear because of her deluded mother.

A dhimmicrat-Edwards said, "we all deserve a fair sheik!"

Posted by: MZ [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 20, 2007 3:31 PM

Two things to note:

Naseem......this creature doesn't sound muslim at all and not a Pakistani one.
She/He/ It just comes on line to get his /her/its jollies.
In real life it is probably an innefectual person who likes to make up stories to feel better about itself.

Al Hilali......one can only hope the Australian judiciary treat his legal aspirations with the contempt they deserve.
I would have thought that no legal decision could be made until the AFP have sorted out where his 'charitable' donations actually went.
The man is slime and his removal from Australia should be accomplished......Oh, his family should go too. If they want sharia let them have it but not here.
