Celebrating Islamo-Fascism Awareness Day

Jacob Laksin reports in FrontPage.

And here's a report on opposition at several "institutions of higher learning" where they'd prefer the truth not be known: "Extremism film opposed at colleges," by Joanna Sugden and Robert Stacy McCain for the Washington Times (thanks to Stacy).

As always, the jihadists and their Leftist allies have no counter to the arguments presented, so they just respond with thuggery.

Anti-Islamofascism Awareness Day! What a great idea!
Let's have more of these.

Posted by: LondonBorn&Bred [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 20, 2007 8:26 AM

"A Muslim student who did not wish to be named said: "Why do they need to show a film like this on campus when there are so many Muslims at George Mason? It makes it very unsafe to be a Muslim on campus."

I wonder if this Muslim student would be concerned about safety if they showed an anti - Jewish film on campus?

And when he returns home to the Islamic paradise he came from, will he object to films that make Jews and Christians feel unsafe?

He's safe enough in this Judeo-Christian culture, and he knows it. He, like most Muslims, just want to control the agenda on our college .campuses

The article stated that most of these universities had to take extra security precautions. We never before had to take extra security precautions until Muslims started arriving on our campuses.

Wherever Muslims go there's unsafety.

Posted by: rational [TypeKey Profile Page] at April 20, 2007 8:34 AM

While it's sad that the College Republicans at Georgia Tech "required extra security" for their screening of the film, it's also encouraging that the film was aired at those 96 colleges in the face of so much (unwarranted) opposition. As a college student, I can tell you that the liberal portion of the student body (in other words, the vast majority of students at my college) can sit around and bash Christianity all day long, but will never say one negative word about Islam. Considering the film's clear disclaimer in the beginning, regarding it being about radicals in particular and not all Muslims, there is no good excuse whatsoever for any liberal or Islamic group to protest this film (well, I suppose CAIR might find an excuse) and doing so only illustrates ignorance and a denial of the reality of the situation.

Even if the turnouts for some of the screenings might have been low, just the fact that any turned out to see this documentary is a good thing, it is a must-see. I managed to get one of my roommates to watch it a little over a month ago, and I could tell it was quite eye-opening for her; I felt like I had done at least something to help spread some awareness about the jihadist threat, even by causing one more person to be better informed on it. The more people who see Obsession, the better, even if it is one person at a time.

Islamo-Fascism Day should be held every April 20 since that is the birthday of one of Islam's modern greats-Uncle Adolf Hitler.

I completely agree with rational's opinion that it is unsafe where Muslims exist.

The Muslim student who made the above remark that it is unsafe to Muslims should realise that the Koran makes violent statements against non-muslims, and that let the Muslims reciprocate by removing those verses of the Koran which degrade non-muslims and preach hate against them.

The Islamofascism awareness day is a great idea and the non-muslims should be educated about the twisted religion that is Islam. Particularly the Indians who endless keep parrotting that Islam is a peaceful religion and that all religions are the same.

OT, but, when, exactly, will the public be given access to the full set of documents left by Psy-Cho? I think I remember reading that, in them, he explains "his own religion"? Just askin'.

“non-muslims should be educated about the twisted religion that is Islam.”

They call it a hate crime if islamists are forced into an encounter with ham or bacon, however goats are A ok.
A Sudanese man has been forced to take a goat as his "wife", after he was caught having sex with the animal.

Good example this student even though peaceful represents 'why, why us'? We are reminded every day now the east thinking has put an obstacle into our living. How we want to live. He acts as if the United States is his already. The Quran should be banned! Why they come here I do not know! It is time they go stand up for their people!! If they believe! I am aware from the moment I wake up every day of islamist! My tv is on 24 hrs! It's as if they have us in a neckhold.
Or own laws protect them and they are not even citizens! They spread out through out the world but we are not welcomed there! I love the mosque in the east. Where Abraham once was. They are destroying them! This holy place! They make me sick! Build mosque here on soil of the infidel!?
There is so much wrong with this picture!
The truth to be known; THEY CAN'T HANDLE THE TRUTH
never can the dhimmicrats! They don't know the truth for they will not take the time to see what islam is really all about! A repeat in history!
Maybe they watched Lost in Space; DANGER DANGER!!

Simply quote the Koran and the Hadiths and the true nature of imperialist, expansionist intolerant, misogynistic and pedophile-based Islam will be repelling infidels everywhere.

Spread the dread.

Fine for Islamofascism awareness, but where is the awareness of THE GREATER PROBLEM exposed by me in Islamocommunists???????

Islamocommunism is Zawahiri in al Qaeda.

Islamocommunism is Syrian Baathist and Iranian Baathist.

Islamocommunism is working with Cuba and Venezuela against America.

Islamocommunism is Hamas and Hezbollah.

Islamocommunism is backed by Putin's National Bolshevism and China's PLA shipping COSCO.

bin Laden is a fascist like the Muslim Brotherhood aka Keith Ellison, but the al Qaeda movement has been hijacked by the Russian GRU, FSB and Iranian intel with the net result Islamocommunism is the hybrid threat.

Intellectuals just are too garden party cliche to use the correct terms and in doing so they are opening America up nuclear dangers.

This is why Iraq is vital in it is trying to be brought into the Baathist (Saddam) throne again and the Financial Times just reported that Iraq now HAS ALMOST AS MUCH OIL AS SAUDI ARABIA.

EARTH TO THOSE COMPLAINING ABOUT IRAQ AND BUSH:

IF America would simply develope Iraqi oil, America could crash the world oil market to 10 dollars a barrel (30 cent a gallon gasoline for Americans), THIS WOULD CRASH TERRORIST FUNDING, CRASH PUTIN'S AGRESSION and do more to destroy terrorism than what is being done now.

Please people get the point. Iraq is a tool and if America will use it our economy will prosper, Iraqi's will prosper and all of us will have security as the oil terrorists will have no funds to attack America.

This is a cheap, sound and effective doctrine. You heard it hear first. Spread the reality.

"After the film was shown, we had an open discussion and the president of College Democrats, who is a Muslim, made some comments on the movie," Mr. Lanning said. "He agreed overall with the film that there was a radical version of Islam that has perverted the true meaning and religion of Islam."
-from the article

It is comments like these that are at the heart of the problem with Islam. Islam is portrayed as blameless and perfect. Violence commited in the name of Islam are by those who do not understand Islam and are misinterpreting it.

The current proposal to correct those who act contrary to Islam's intention is............?

WHY are there so many moslems in our schools to begin with??! No wonder the academic standards are going to hell!

I doubt he WILL return to his islamic hell-hole paradise anytime soon. One more reason to STOP with the student visas!

BRAVO for you, sir.

Just so you know, you are not alone in your attempts to spread the word, one set of ears at a time if need be.

I engage, or try to, every person I speak to. Proseltyzing has never been my bag ( old hippie term- ask you parents) Never let a Jehovah's Witness cross my threshold. Never accepted a flyer from street vendor.

Now, my friends at the golf club ask me what's new on the terrorism front? Some of them walk the other way cuz they know I will probably bring up the topic. This is different. It is that important. I agree with you, one person at a time if need be. My daughter, my sister, my friends, relatives. One set of ears that will listen to my words at a time if that is what helps.

How about your parents? Do you think they might be interested to know about a topic you feel so strongly about? I'll bet they would love to hear you discuss it. They may not agree. Not everyone does. But should they see the light who knows who they may discuss this with.

Sorry to sound patronizing. I just want to let you know that even if you spoke to no one else about this, I bet your roomate will always remember the day you turned him on ( another hippie term- ah forget it..) to the biggest issue in his future.

Lame Cheery:

Do you think that the present administration (that'd be George Bush & Co.) is unaware of the oil reserves in Iraq? If so, what does that say about their capacity for leadership? If not, why haven't they followed a course of action such as you've outlined? What in that case would you suppose their priorities to be? Who would be restraining them from taking such steps, in your opinion?

The much reviled Bill Clinton was impeached by a zealous Republican Congress over a dirty blue dress! Why isn't even a fraction of that kind of attention being paid by Congress to Bush's dealings and connections in the Middle East; dealings and connections that have more relevance to US foreign policy and the security of the West than Monica Lewinsky ever had?

Just like Rome of old, the population is being diverted by bread and circuses while the Republic is being sold to the highest bidder.

I see zero chance for any moderate movement going anywhere, not in an atmosphere like this. The most notorious serial killers in American history couldn’t compete with this barbaric culture.
We do not want these people in our country/state/city/community.

Kudos, Robert:

I couldn't have said it better myself about the parties involved-both foreign and domestic.
The 5th column has been ignored for far too long, and should be given long-overdue close scrutiny. Sad to say, it's also why the kook fringe kool-aid kids avoid addressing it at all, and divert by spin, some of which I've seen in this thread.

Regardless, kudos to you.
We should do it much more often...like every day.

Leave Iraq Now--I'm a woman, but I appreciate your comments anyway. To be honest, I've tended to shy away from voicing my opinions to my friends/family about my political views most of the time, because for the most part we're polar opposites, but I feel strongly enough on this issue to speak out to some--like my roommates, with whom the topic of Islamofascism has come up randomly on a number of occasions--just for the reason you gave; it's important. It needs to be spoken of, I couldn't agree more. I'm not nearly the expert that a lot of the people around here are though; I've only been studying Islam for about a year in between my schoolwork, so I don't want speak up on the topic unless I'm confident in what I'm talking about. The Obsession documentary speaks for itself though, and if I can convince more people to watch it in the future, I intend to try.

"A Muslim student who did not wish to be named said: "Why do they need to show a film like this on campus when there are so many Muslims at George Mason? It makes it very unsafe to be a Muslim on campus."

Hey, "not to be named," you twip, the movie is being shown to warn infidels that it is unsafe to be in a world with Muslims. The movie is being shown to help make the world safe for infidels. You selfishly assume and worry that when the truth is known about Islamic intentions, infidels will exact the same murderous treachery and violence on Muslims that you acknowledge your cohorts advocate on infidels. You thereby acknowledge that there is a radical Islamic movement that is murderous of infidels. Where is your slightest concern for the safety of infidels? You express no concern however short, for how to make the world safe for infidels.
