A new low in jihadist propaganda. By Abdul Sattar for Associated Press:
KILI FAQIRAN, Pakistan - The boy with the knife looks barely 12. In a high-pitched voice, he denounces the bound, blindfolded man before him as an American spy. Then he hacks off the captive's head to cries of "God is great!" and hoists it in triumph by the hair.
A video circulating in Pakistan records the grisly death of Ghulam Nabi, a Pakistani militant accused of betraying a top Taliban official who was killed in a December airstrike in Afghanistan.
An Associated Press reporter confirmed Nabi's identity by visiting his family in Kili Faqiran, their remote village in southwestern Pakistan.
The video, which was obtained by AP Television News in the border city of Peshawar on Tuesday, appears authentic and is unprecedented in jihadist propaganda because of the youth of the executioner.
Captions mention Mullah Dadullah, the Taliban's current top commander in southern Afghanistan, although he does not appear in the video. The soundtrack features songs praising Taliban supreme leader Mullah Omar and "Sheikh Osama" — an apparent reference to Osama bin Laden, who is suspected of hiding along the Afghan-Pakistan border.
The footage shows Nabi making what is described as a confession, being blindfolded with a checkered scarf.
"He is an American spy. Those who do this kind of thing will get this kind of fate," says his baby-faced executioner, who is not identified.
A continuous 2 1/2-minute shot then shows the victim lying on his side on a patch of rubble-strewn ground. A man holds Nabi by his beard while the boy, wearing a camouflage military jacket and oversized white sneakers, cuts into the throat. Other men and boys call out "Allahu akbar!" — "God is great!" — as blood spurts from the wound.
The film, overlain with jihadi songs, then shows the boy hacking and slashing at the man's neck until the head is severed.

The method of Nabi's death was not unusual for Pakistan's lawless tribal regions. Suspected informers are regularly found beheaded and dumped along the side of the road in the lawless, mountainous regions along the Afghan-Pakistani border where al-Qaida and Taliban militants find sanctuary.
But such al-Qaida-style killings are rarely featured in the Taliban's increasingly frequent propaganda videos. The use of a child to conduct the beheading stands out even among those filmed by militants in Iraq.

Sam Zarifi, Asia research director for Human Rights Watch, said the use of a child to commit such an act constituted a war crime and was a "new low" in the conflict in Afghanistan.
He noted the Taliban had teenage combatants but they were not recruited on a large scale because of the availability of adult fighters. He said he had seen children in the background of some jihadist videos but none in which they were directly involved in violence.
"I don't know why they would do this," Zarifi said. "The Taliban have to some extent tried to play to the public in Afghanistan and have not engaged in the complete sowing of mayhem that we have seen in Iraq. But this kind of act is really egregious. It's off the charts."

Beheading is really over the top?
Compared to previous Muslim acts of hanging women up by their hair for showing some skin.
Compared to blowing up national treasures of centuries old buddhas.
Compared to executing leaders in overthrowing the government.
Compared to throwing people in prison for artwork.
Compared to hiding mass murderer bin Laden.
Ok so Muslims don't think beating, butchering, buying and selling people, rape and genocide "over the top", but this one event is.

This reminds me of that movie "The Killing Fields" where people were sent to re-education camps and never heard from again and then found later in the fields by the hundreds, having been suffocated with plastic bags tied over the heads, all care of the teenaged psycho thought police that forced grown adults into bondage, misery and death. That didn't sit well with me back then. It doesn't sit well with the Islamic version in 2007.
Hopefully that boy will have nightmares and feel guilty for the rest of his life. But he probably won't. How do you take human beings like these and turn them into animals at such a tender age?

I can't begin to describe how much this decapitation business makes my blood boil! The Nerve of these Quasi Religious men, the Arrogance of the Islamic world for standing by and validating it with their apathy and silence!. The next time there is an earthquake in Afghanistan or Pakistan or some other Islamic country, and you are shown video of crying twelve year old children, remember this incident. When some "charity" appeals for donations, remember this incident. When you start feeling sorry for these children, and begin to open your wallet, or write that check, stop and remember this incident.
Think of America's children, you must decide who's children are more important.

This 12 year old is not a terrorist but performing a ritual of sorts, call it Satanic because that's what they would do in their rituals and praise him as the lord the greatest of angels. I don't think he understands the politics he just understands 'infidel' like a child telling the teacher another pupil is behaving badly.

Because if a slowdown is happening quietly, then to start a public movement against further Muslim immigration to the U.S. could be counterproductive, since a public movement would inevitably provoke an organized countermovement which might lead to MORE Muslims immigrating to the U.S...

I just finished watching NOW and it's segment was on Iraq.Of course theres those who could only say how we already lost the "WAR".Which war i wonder is it that they speak of?Just the Iraqi war or the whole of the war?
Of course they interviewed an Iraqi journalist who described how it was under saddam briefly then moved to how great it was when they were liberated,and then on to how it's now the same and worse in ways than under saddam.
I at first allowed myself to start to feel pity for this man who is half sunni and half shiite but yet a "secular" kurd.Something like that (it's islam mind you).
Yes i was starting to allow pity to creep in until i started thinking all his words were laying the blame on the west and it's invasion.He himself says that he can only go so far down his own street because he would be killed by the other sect of islam.He himself said he was stopped at an insurgent checkpoint and only allowed to live because his first name is of sunni origin.
Yes reality set in and i started thinking he has failed to blame islam for this situation.He has failed to blame all his brothers and sisiters in his neighboring nations who fail to aid them in reserecting thier once great nation of times gone by.
What he and all the rest that have an opinion on iraq or even islam fails to point out that it is islam.It's islams war on the world even muslim on muslim that are causing the hardships that fall upon these people.It's just not fair for the world to blame us,the west for interfering in islam or islams yards.Thier piles of crap end up in our yards in the worlds yards.
The west can only sit back and watch suffering so much but then even as powerful as we are there is only so much one can do for another.One at some point has to do for themselves.

Brigette Gabriel suggested a project, which if I recall correctly went like this:
Find out what mosques are located in your town. Get the info on who owns a mosque. (It's public info at city hall.)
If the owner or other leaders at the mosque are Saudi Arabian, there is a good chance there is jihad literature and hate sermons given at that mosque. Report the mosque to the FBI.

Are the seemingly gratuitous use of recent beheadings an attempt to desensitize the obvious disgust one should experience responsively, or merely business as usual for those who subscribe to the "religion of peace"?
Either way, if this story is proven true, it is just another example, in a long line, that could lead to a complete mental breakdown of an otherwise, sane person.
I will not submit however, though at this moment, I greatly desire to do so. I will instead take solace in the wisdom of the words that Hugh has uttered not so long ago on this very site; "When dealing with Islam, one has to stay super-sane, or go insane.

My apologies go out to you and Jihad Watch. It was an unintentional loose statement, this time by me, questioning the validity of this story, that allowed a small opening for opponents, like crusadertothecore, to attempt to exploit.

I was surprised and baffled by the beheading of four British communications engineers in Chechnya back in 1998 - decapitation by Muslims was almost a complete novelty then (although we heard about it going on in the Algerian Islamic carnival of death, that was being held in the '90's). To say, in 2007, that the beheading of seven Christians in the Philippines sounds so improbable that absolutely cast iron proof was necessary before anyone could believe the story, is ridiculous.

Perhaps the story is not being covered by the South Asian/Middle Eastern media because the Muslims are ashamed at just how barbaric this whole thing is. A 12-year-old child who has been brainwashed to hate to the point that he is capable of sawing off another human being's head is nothing to be proud of. Why would they want to report this and show just how low they've sunk? The best thing they can do is pretend it never happened (you know, kind of like the UN and the so-called "human rights" groups will).

I believe the AP has an anti-US & anti-Israel bias. In covering last year's Israel/Hezbollah war, didn't their stories & pictures often portray Hezbollah as the victims & Israel as the aggressors? My guess is that this act was of such barbarity that the AP simply could not ignore or excuse it. Pak is undoubtely a country of extremes. You will find the most friendly of peoples...particularily when they meet foreigners. I have seen this with my own eyes...some most lovely peoples.
On the other end you get peoples like these..who commit crimes you would not even dream of ...it's a colourful world.
That korean at VTech...I mean that was a henious crime ..and it happened in your own Amerike.
I will not belittle or excuse this crime...because that would be wrong. It is possible that the commander murdered by the airstrike may have been a relative of his...and he had been given the "honour" of "making amends".
There is much wrong ofcourse ...like I long for Haj...and I cannot go...that's wrong.
Forcing sharia ...that's wrong...it should be phased in peacefully, Pak should be a model Islamic state...not a state of extremes.
As for my childrens...my son runs the business while my daughter is still at uni.

They make their kids saw off the heads of animals and are actually happy when their kids do it. When the kids are not doing the halal, the grown ups are. At least 5 times a day, they saw off the heads of animals in their mosques. They eat meat only of animals that have been killed this way, the halal way. So I was just wondering, how come “this kind of act” is off the charts ? I think that it is perfectly on the charts. Muslim charts.

So, since we are talking about "all" Middle Eastern and South Asian media, crusadertothecore should then have supplied links and photographs of about at least 100 newspapers and exclusively web-based news sources x 3 or 4 days.
After these media would be supplied by crusadertothecore, someone could verify that they in fact represent "all" the major Middle Eastern and South Asian media.
Secondly, crusadertothecore would have had to demonstrate with evidence that AP published a false story; and this can best be verified by showing a retraction from AP of this specific story, or at second best, showing at least two or three other major news sources disputing AP's reportage on this specific story.
But, in the absence of this kind of verification of his claim, crusadertothecore should not have been taken seriously and should have been simply ignored.

As an Orthodox Christian I have always found it hard to understand why, when a baby is baptized, he or she is first blessed by the priest who then makes the sign of the cross on the forehead, mouth and chest and says "Drive out from him or her every evil and unclean spirit which may be lurking in his (her) heart: the spirit of deceit and of wickedness, of idol-worship and all covetousness, ...."
Now Naseem explains it for me: EVERY BABY IS BORN A MUSLIM. No wonder the Christian priest has to drive out the evil lurking in its heart before the poor child can be brought into the pure waters of Baptism!
Whenever I see a Baptism and hear the priest saying these words, I will surely think of Mahomet (Pigs be up him), and thank God that a human being is being rescued from the foulest of demons. Great meditation on original sin, brought by the Father of Lies - the downfall of all humanity.

Here is the literal translation of that old man's insane rant :
"He is american spy..we are taliban..he got into our hands..we will finish him off..we will hang him.......(he refers to the spy now).....you spoiled the name of Islam..you spoiled the trust /status of Islam..we are fighting for Islam..you dont fight for Islam..so you are a infidel (Kafir)..so you should be killed.."

Thank you, shukriya. My Hindi/Urdu is non-existant. I've been trying to learn it, but my Mom doesn't have the time to teach me. Strange, I read the whole AP story and it identified the old man as the victims father. Damn, they got it wrong.

arjun.sevak it really is telling how the Hindus of India have suffered probably the most from muslims, yet the politicians seem so willing to sacrifice your country to gain the " muslime vote". The Hindu people should unite with other Indian non muslims and use their vote for the best anti muslim politicians. muslims can only win when we are divided, and there are a whole lot more non muslims in this world.
