An update on this story. "U.S. says has nabbed four “terrorists” in Iraq with Iranian EFPs," from Iran Focus:
London, Apr. 28 – The United States military announced on Friday that it had arrested four “suspected terrorists” with links to Iran during an operation in the Baghdad slum Sadr City.
In a statement, the Multi-National Force – Iraq (MNF-I) said that the individuals targeted during the raid were suspected members of a “secret cell terrorist network known for facilitating the transport of weapons and explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, from Iran to Iraq, as well as bringing militants from Iraq to Iran for terrorist training”.
The following is the full text of the statement:
[...]
BAGHDAD, Iraq – Coalition Forces detained four suspected terrorists Friday morning during an operation in Sadr City.
The individuals targeted during the raid are suspected members of a secret cell terrorist network known for facilitating the transport of weapons and explosively formed penetrators, or EFPs, from Iran to Iraq, as well as bringing militants from Iraq to Iran for terrorist training.
Intelligence reports also indicate the secret cell has ties to a kidnapping network that conducts attacks within Iraq.
“Individuals coming into Iraq from other countries for the purpose of endangering Iraqi civilians and disrupting security won’t be tolerated,” said Lt. Col. Christopher Garver, MNF-I spokesperson. “We will continue to work diligently to rid Iraq of foreign terrorists trying to thwart the development of a stable and peaceful Iraq.”

That Sadr hasn't been taking a dirt nap for two years shows one of the strategic flaws in the miltary's campaign.
Either get rid of the terrorists and their dogmatic sources as fast as they raise their rotten heads, or live with the slow bleed of such "sectarian leaders" once that folly has been accepted.
Timidity breeds rapacity.

Says who? The Iranians are even less deserving of the sacrifice of others than the Iraqis were.
L.C.,
As the saying goes: if you want something done right, do it yourself.
That's the message the world should give to the "suffering" Iranian people. They have to pick sides. If they can't bring themselves to rise up against this government then they can die with it. If they're waiting for a knight in shining armor to ride to their rescue, they're in for a huge disappointment.

The iranians have been involved since the beginning, they only got caught this time, which is why only now the worldwide (s)news media (read thatas MSM) begrudgingly had to report it...inescapable now.
I'm sure the 5th column will spin that one like they always do anything that nails their islamicommie allies.

That's like saying:
"4 German citizens caught in France."
"4 Mexican citizens caught in US."
"4 US citizens caught in Canada."
Thanks for the scary stuff US military, but I am sorry that Iranians go next door to Iraq, and vice versa, although here in the US we find the idea of leaving the homeland absurd. Arab media recently had an entire show on these "secret" terrorist cells where they discussed and interviewed former US militayr people and former prisoners and detainees and analysts about the US military's ability to say that something is secret so nobody will dare question it, like "ghost prisons" and the like so they don't have to provide any evidence or records as to what they do or how they reach these conclusions (just like Spencer quotes other news sources that have absolutely no evidence to take the blame off himself *column day jab*). There is absolutely no evidence thus far that such a "secret cell" was planning anything. Yes, they were in Sadr City, and so that makes it scary, right? I can read a map of Baghdad just like you all can (it's a big area).
Just doing some thinking...

Persians know the cause. They have insight as to what drives the regime. The crises dates back to the revolution; the social organization was rearranged. They had a utopian opening, but irregularities were immediately present. There was displacement. They suppressed other beliefs. They created objects to worship. The effects of bigotry and exclusion broke down and destroyed communities.
They control the entirety of the culture, media, and education. They eclipse and move over society, with sense of impunity. Abstract forces define the condition of everyday life. Citizens cannot challenge. Course change is difficult, since alternative viewpoints are dismissed. They punish those who fail to adhere. There is a slow learning curve. They want loyalty at the expense of reason. Islam is the underlying force. They aggressively impose regulation. They are driven by totality of their internal and external fantasies.
The idleness and indifference of the few are protected. They better themselves, while the masses live in degradation. Only the few benefit from the natural resources, and their economy does not reflect true supply and demand.
Persians are not accustomed to self-governing. They only take orders. They lack development in civil society. They need associations, and the freedom to express, create, and criticize.
Iran also engages in war making in Iraq. In the short run, they wish for a failed state. They will attempt to export their Islamic system. But Iraqis are rebelling against the opponents of freedom; they comprehend, and they are awake.
Persians hear the distant rumblings. They can transform their society. They can create a different orientation. Ideas are generated from within. They can open forms of communication. They can better understand the system as a whole, and find the points of breakdown. They can build parties with democratic principals. They will find a solution in free markets and government.

....do you know what documents, computers, or other evidence were on hand (possibly given to the troops by informants, or by previous captures)that led the troops to the Terrorists hideouts and identities, do you doubt the Muslims would turn each other in?....
...do you have proof there was no evidence?...
...were you there?...
...the captured terrorists will be telling more soon....
