RAMALLAH, West Bank (Reuters) - Hamas leader Khaled Meshaal warned Israel could face another Palestinian uprising unless conditions in the Gaza Strip and occupied West Bank improved.
Let it be remembered that the conditions in the Gaza Strip and West Bank are of Hamas' own making. The Israelis handed over the economy and infrastructure of Gaza to the "Palestinians," including the greenhouses that were worth many millions. The Palestinians destroyed the greenhouses and used Gaza as a base for jihad attacks on Israel.
Meshaal told the Palestinian daily al-Ayyam in an interview published on Monday continuation of a Western economic embargo of the Palestinian government and military actions by Israel would "give notice to a huge explosion that would not only affect the Palestinians but also the entire region, especially the Zionist entity"."I warn and say that I see that the current situation is heading in the direction of the conditions that prevailed in the late 1990s ... that paved the way for the al-Aqsa intifada," Meshaal said. "I warn and under 'warn' I put many red lines."

'Huge explosion'...?? Gaza is halfway to being one giant munitions dump as it is. Is he stockpiling explosives sufficient to send everybody in Gaza and environs to 'paradise' and turn the whole place into a gigantic hole in the ground?
If I were the Israelis I would be watching official and unofficial movements in and out of Gaza very carefully. The minute the 'rats' start to jump ship - the minute some of the heads of those semi-criminal clan/ gangs start slipping out with their wives and families - I'd begin to wonder whether someone wasn't getting ready to trip a switch and make the whole place go boom.

Then, send that message to the Gulf Arabs, along with your latest request for more billions of dollars. Being the tolerant, charitable and love-filled co-religionists of yours, I am sure that big checks will be in the return mail.

...yes, they did....just as Muslims have destroyed farms and farmlands they have "acquired"...They also destroyed libraries, historical monuments and any evidence of past Non Muslim religions...
Islam is terrified of other religions...without religion by the gun, Islam fades into past history..

Remember to keep in mind...
when those like hamas & others refer to "occupied territories" (an ad nauseum & overused term) they are referring to ALL of the entire state of Israel, as they consider every inch of it "occupied territory".
The leaders aren't concerned about "jobs", as we all know the money goes for one purpose: rearming.
(Yes, we've been screaming at state department over this, but there's been a longstanding batch of bad blood between military departments and that of state, especially since the days of "madeline halfbright").
Only thing that bothers me is how folks living under the EU umbrella cast aspersions on money going there from us (which is bad enough as it is) when the EU has given a LOT more for the same thing, and cntinues to do so unabated- bewildering, but there it is.
They shouldn't get a dime until they get real-but that's not going to happen since their position is the crux of their entire power & control racket, which means suicide if they do.
It's going to get interesting this year.
