TEL AVIV — The Israeli military has located Iranian trainers in the Gaza Strip.
Israeli military sources said Teheran has sent more than a dozen Iranians to train Hamas and Islamic Jihad in the Gaza Strip. The sources said virtually all of the Iranians were of Palestinian origin and granted Iranian citizenship.
"These were Palestinians trained first by Hizbullah in Lebanon and then in Iran," a military source said. "Many of these people provided training to Palestinians in Iran and were then sent to the Gaza Strip over the last 18 months."
The source said the Iranians were helping Palestinian factions in the development of weapons and combat techniques. The Iranians were also responsible for selecting Palestinians for intensive training in Iran.
The Iranian presence in the Gaza Strip has promoted military tactics developed by Hizbullah. The sources said this included the use of missile and mortar salvos on Israeli military positions near the Gaza Strip as a cover for Palestinian abduction operations.
"We are hearing from [the military's] Southern Command of a Hizbullah presence in the Gaza Strip," Immigration Minister Zev Boim, a former deputy defense minister, said.
On April 24, Palestinian gunners fired salvos of eight missiles and five mortars into Israel. Despite threats of an invasion of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli military did not retaliate.
"This is an incident of a different dimension," Defense Minister Amir Peretz said. "It has given rise to review the policy."
Southern Command chief Maj. Gen. Yoav Galant said Iranian trainers have been operating in the Gaza Strip. He said hundreds of Palestinians have also been sent to Iran for training.
In late 2006, Fatah-aligned Palestinian Authority security agencies said they captured several Iranians, including two generals from the Islamic Revolutionary Guards Corps. Palestinian sources later said the claim was untrue.
It was not clear whether the Iranians were involved in the Fatah-Hamas militia war. Military sources said Iran has funded both Fatah and Hamas.

Are any of the Pali groups - such as Islamic Jihad - Shia? Other than Hamas vs Fatah, could a civil war be ignited in Gaza based on intra-Muslim differences, be it Shia vs Sunni, Palestinian vs other Arab, anything else???
If that's there, maybe the Iranian presence isn't such a bad thing.

Iran needs to be put in their place, bomb their nuke sites, military sites, get rid of their gov't and clerics. then maybe will they can throw that yoke off their people.

The Iranian people, especially non muslims who prefer life to death, must be scared ====less, that the theocracy in charge, is going to bring calamity down on their heads.
I read where Beasty Boy Dinnerjacket is not to popular with certain segments of Iranian society.
too bad the opposition cant force the mullahs out of power. Thats a big order, I guess, in the US they cant even force the liberals out of power. Thats because like muslims, if there is one liberal alive anywhere, you still have liberalism/Islam, and it will grow. Killing liberals and muslims is the wrong way to go, it's the ideology that must be killed.
Allah must die. He cant be killed by bullets, but he can be ridiculed to death. Islam knows this also which it is why it's the death penalty to ridicule, question, or insult Allah or his Prophet. Islam must be taken seriously, joviality in the direction of Allah, or the Prophet can get you killed. This is a self protection measure, built in by Mohammad, who was called insane by some of his relatives and neighbors. Allah/Mohammad made it a capital crime to do that. That way Mohammad legitimised humself, and gave himself credibility. And no one dared complain, except Abu Juhl, and we know what happened to him.
It amounted to this...'dont do as I do, do, and believe, as I say', under severe penalty.
It would be better if Beasty could be taken down by ridicule. Many have tried, but he is still there issuing threats, and helping out his jihadi bro's. Maybe the west could just kidnap him and force him to go to Jerry Falwells 'Liberty College'. A couple of semesters there would fix him right up...

I guess the Palis want some "training" in shaped-charge IED's.
I hear they're great for taking the olives off an entire grove in one burst.
Saves labor costs and all that pesky hand-plucking time.
No other uses have been suggested.

Hassan Nasrallah's comments come as Israeli PM Ehud Olmert comes under increasing pressure to resign.
By contrast, Lebanese PM Fouad Siniora criticised the Israeli report for failing to draw the right lessons.
He condemned the report for failing to mention the destruction wrought on Lebanon by heavy Israeli shelling.
The Winograd commission issued its interim report on Monday. This accused Mr Olmert of "serious failure in exercising judgement, responsibility and prudence".

BBC published this article.Although this is not the entire article the rest of it is the Lebanese PM complaining about not enough blame tossed on Israel for destroying too much infrastructure.
The reason i posted this is i was wondering can you see the real comments Nassralla wishes to relay?

I'd recommend the Israelis to start referring to the Palestinians as 'Gaza and West bank Arabs'- it can be turned into the acronym GAWBAs and makes them sound silly.

It is Iran waging this war! Of coarse they have been there all along. Just like in Lebanon. Syria and Iraq, oh ya and here in Ohio. That is what the war is all about. Their quotes their beliefs. This is their goal for Ahmadajad wants to full the phrophesy.
