A-Q is piqued with the brothers of Hamas because they have entered upon -- gasp! -- the path of dialogue. Really, Libi and Co. needn't worry: Hamas still intends to end up in the same place.

Hamas has been accused of "betraying its own martyrs and God" during a recent statement issued by al-Qaeda.A video made by al-Qaeda leader Yahya al-Libi, who is in Afghanistan, was released at the end of April. Ynetnews has obtained the full recording, one of a number of growing scathing verbal attacks on Hamas by al-Qaeda.
'Path of Jihad'
"I am sending this message to the people of Palestine, whose blood is being shed by the Jewish occupiers," al-Libi said.
"Hamas has abandoned jihad for politics. It has betrayed its youths. Its main activity is politics. Since its decision to go down the path of politics, Hamas has begun to descend on a downhill slope. They betrayed the dreams of their young fighters and they stabbed them in the back," al-Libi added.
"All of the pretexts Hamas gives for pondering the political path do not even convince Hamas," Libi said. "They don't believe their own rhetoric. They themselves know they are not pursuing the true path of Islam."
Come on, Libi. It's just a tactic. And a very effective one, for that matter.
'Hamas not listening to us'Libi complained that "al-Qaeda leaders tried to advise Hamas about its policy and told Hamas leaders that they are not going in right direction. But Hamas has been firm in maintaining that its path is different from that of al-Qaeda."
He bitterly lamented that "Hamas told al-Qaeda they don't need al-Qaeda's advice. Some of their most prominent leaders went as far as making public declarations during a recent visit to the atheist capital of Russia, Moscow, distancing themselves from al-Qaeda. They did so openly after the meeting with the murderous corrupt Russian leaders whose crimes are worse than those of Sharon" Libi said, referring to Hamas politburo head Khaled Mashaal's trip to Moscow.
"Is Putin and his corrupt and murderous regime more relevant to Hamas's political equation for Palestine than advice by our great leader Ayman al-Zawahiri?" the al-Qaeda leader asked...."You call your movement resistance, and then you call it Islamic resistance. If you were really Islamic, you would call it jihad," al-Libi said.
"Can you tell us which Islam you are talking about, and which shariah you are going to implement?" he added."Your path has confused the Palestinians, and they can no longer differentiate between you and the secular leaders that you courting," he said.
After pledging that "al-Qaeda will stick to the path of true jihad," al-Libi addressed Hamas' al-Qassam Brigades, saying: "Where are your bombs, where is you fire, which should shine like the sun in the enemy's backyard? Your martyrs used to fight for al-Aqsa, and today you replaced the heavy sword with dialogue. Hamas is a part of the conspiracy against the Palestinians."
Now is the time for peaceful Muslims all over to explain -- not to non-Muslims, but to their fellow Muslims -- why Al-Qaeda's path is not really that of "true jihad." Here Libi has given them a real opportunity to demonstrate that the true Islam is peaceful, as they relentlessly claim yet never quite get around to explaining. Any takers? Mr. Hooper? Mr. Ayloush? Mr. Schwartz? Mr. Mohammed? Come on, guys! Now's your chance!

Bingo! Al Qaeda Palestine (AQP) is just launching its operations in the PA. They attack the Islamic terrorists of HAMAS for not being Islamic enough is the means to recruitment among those wanting to murder others by killing themselves. HAMAS grew and grew by attacking the relatively secular PLO for not being Islamic enough.
There has to be a group out there, which thinks Al Qaeda isn't Islamic enough.

Don’t believe it! This is another of the so often used that it is becoming predictable (yawn, stretch, turn over and go back to sleep) yes even annoyingly repetitive. Hey islamists, you want to beat us? You want to kill 100s of thousands of Americans/Westerners? Then put down the mike and come out and try it. This stuff reminds me of American Idol, a worthless show in my opinion, yet with an islamist twist. A look into an islamist future maybe? Yes, if we sit on out thumbs and don’t confront them.

Smoke and mirror alert. Once Hamas are enemies of our favorite jihadi group they are victims and US aid turns on. We would not abandon anyone threatened by al qaeda would we? Don’t fall for this. The only threat here is hamas and their cousins dying of laughter. Any bets as to which US politician demands we help save them?

That’s right Ronin, they are laughing at us, and I will tell you, you can shoot me, you can stab me, but dammit I draw the line at laughter at the killing of our non combatants. Soon we will be laughing, or screaming bloody murder (the rebel yell, guaranteed to shiver the spine of even the heartiest warrior. as we sweep down from our pos, not stopping for nothing and taking no prisoners). 21st Mississippi Infantry, Tallahassee sharpshooters to be exact. Left one leg at Gettysburg could have been shot by the other side of my family for all I know. Finally rescued on July 4, prisoner, later swapped I mean who really wants a one legged man? He died 20 years later on guess what day, July 4, bad day for us all round, good for the country however so I like to think I was born on the fourth of July. I try not to take sides, how can I? We signed up on both sides from the beginning and well as you know we are still here, imagine that? We must be some mean, good or lucky mfers don’t you agree? Losing a leg, sitting in the summer sun, as gangrene set in that doesn’t slow him down, later he became a preacher none the less.
Where ever the 21st was that is the definition of civil war fighting and winning. And we are still out there, so beware islamists.

Don't make too much of this lest Condi Rice starts calling Hamas moderate and offers them money and guns. As it is, she's already done that for Abbas and Fatah, which is now part of the Hamas-led government.
It's amazing to see how, as time goes on, what we expect from Islamic political development gets ever more modest, which just proves how unrealistic we've been all along.

Several thoughts come to mind when I read this post:

Why are they calling Zawahiri their great leader and not Bin Laden? Could Bin Laden possibly have died? Several months ago a Somali Islamist commented that he missed Bin Laden. Why haven't we heard from Bin Laden in like 2 years?
Secondly, why did Hamas go to Russia to meet with Putin? Is it for money and weapons, or something more? And, why would the Russian President belittle himself to meet with a terror group leader?

At that time, we sent money and weapons to Abbas' party because they were battling with Hamas and we hoped Abbas would win. Then Saudi Arabia patched things up between the two parties by offering money if they would get along and share in the government.
I can't imagine what it would be like to live a daily life surrounded by gunfire like they have there and in Iraq. We are so very fortunate not to have that here yet. I say "yet" because in 10 or 20 years we will have the Islamists here to fight in our own country because our government will not do what is necessary to protect us.
