They must not be allowed in. For the safety of our own citizens in the West, we can't take any more Muslims, and certainly not the most dangerous of all, the Shock Troops of the Lesser Jihad, the local Arabs who were carefully renamed the "Palestinians." They have proven to be at the center of many terrorist plots and schemes. And then they are suddenly identified demurely, so often, as having been "born in Jordan" or "born in Israel" -- and the word "Palestinian" that they always emphasize so often, suddenly disappears.
They are a specific threat to Jews, even a mortal threat. Would the American government knowingly allow into this country, say, neo-Nazis? No. Would it allow in to this country, knowingly, the most extreme white-supremacist followers of Eugene Terre Blanche in South Africa, people who would bring in their mental baggage, say, to this country a desire to reduce the black population to a state of permanent economic, social, and political inferiority? Would they allow in such people when it was clear that their ideology was not merely a personal one, but was so ingrained that it could not be uprooted, and was passed on from generation to generation -- as is Islam?
And think of the Storm-Trooper tactics of "Palestinians" on North American campuses everywhere, as they shout down speakers, intimidate pro-Israel students, and crush on campus much free speech, as they scare administrators into banning whatever Arab Muslims wish to have banned...or else. There have been examples from the University of San Francisco all the way to Concordia in Montreal. How much more evidence does one need of the effect of a large Muslim or especially "Palestinian" presence on free speech in the United States, or Canada, or anywhere? Is there not a duty to take note of this, and to limit this malevolence and this violence, threatened or actual?
Why should the Infidel nation-states of the Western world make things difficult for their own? Why should their ruling elites abandon their own people, out of ignorance and negligence and timidity (fear of offending Muslims, fear of finding out a little more about Islam or, upon finding it out, having to establish sensible and perfectly justified policies based on what they have found out)?
Close off the possibility of these people entering this country and further endangering all of us. Close off those who will have to be monitored, with all the attendant expense. Close off this country to those who bring with them in their mental baggage a Belief-System that tells them that they cannot conceivably be loyal to an Infidel nation-state, or in fact to any entity connected to Infidels, for their sole loyalty is to Islam and the umma. Too many, we can see from our study of the past and present, accept this view of things. A few may say they reject it. And so they will, to the extent that they are bad, or disaffected, or uninterested Muslims. But even among those who say they reject it, they cannot offer a coherent explanation of why, nor can one be sure if that rejection is real ("war is deception" said Muhammad). Or if real, one still cannot be sure that it will last for the lifetime of the man who still calls himself a Muslim, or if there may be a "return to Islam" by that same person. Or -- as is obviously happening in Great Britain, Germany and elsewhere -- the later generations become more, not less Muslim, as they perceive that Islam does not have its "rightful place," i.e., it does not dominate in the Lands of the Infidels, and this comes to enrage them, and they work to subvert the legal, political, and social institutions of the Lands of the Infidels. As, by their lights, is only right, is only just, only makes perfect sense.
Intelligent people in government (there are some) will wish to limit the size of the danger, the expense of the monitoring, the increase in the unsettlement and unpleasantness of life.
The political, economic, social, moral, and intellectual failures of Muslim societies, including that of Gaza, should be taken as the lessons that they are. Yet in Gaza, a limiting of the tens of billions of dollars that the "Palestinians" have received since UNRWA was established, and supplemented by the billions received from Infidel -- never Arab lands-- in the last decades, is called absurdly an "economic boycott" or "embargo." Yes, because the billions in aid extorted from Infidel taxpayers by their own governments and given to the "Palestinians," and then siphoned off in fantastic acts of wholesale corruption, with much of what is left over spent on weaponry to keep attacking Israel, is treated by the "Palestinians" as theirs by right. Thus the denial of it as an "embargo." Meanwhile, these "poor Palestinians" with their Internet Cafes and DVD stores in those places described as "refugee camps," and even their interior decorators -- one was quoted in the newspaper yesterday -- don't know how to overcome their own inshallah-fatalism, their own aggression now turned in upon themselves -- and some want out.
But Islam? Don't Leave Home Without It, say the imams. And they won't. They can't. Many even of the "Palestinian" islamochristians cannot free themselves from the Jihad ideology and attitudes they have so deeply internalized.
Keep them out. There are 22 Arab countries. Let them choose among them.

You are forgetting that there are euro and american dhimmis who WANT them in here, for political purposes (votes). They (the dhimmis) don't care what ideology islamo-fascists bring in, as long as the euro-dhimmi lefties are kept in power. It's hard to counter islmo-nazism when our own leaders are helping them. Remember those islmo-fascists who occupied the church of Nativity? What happened to them? They got free rides to europe and treated as diplomats. This insanity needs to stop or there will be plenty of civil unrest because more and more people are catching on to what this is all about.

The answer will most likely shock you to the bone, if you haven't already heard it.
At the end of WWII the American government extended a warm welcome to many of the German scientists who helped develop Hitler's top weapons (the V I, the V-II, the first jet-engined airplane, etc.). Among them were the doctors who performed live experiments on Jews in the concentration camps.
If you don't believe me, please check the stories surrounding the advent in the US of Mr. Werner von Braun, the inventor of the V II.
Most of these scientists were members of the Nazi party. The scientists who performed the experiments mentioned should have been tried alongside the Nazi top in Neurenberg. Instead, they got jobs and housing, passports, other privileges, etc.

Freedom has a cost and one of those costs is a bit of moral ambiguity from time to time -- in order to attain the higher good. It's not a matter for the casual observer, or the common citizen. It is a matter for great leaders and their choices keep them awake at night sometimes, but in the end, great leadership has its own rewards for those who have the strength to make tough choices.
Remember -- it took 2 nuclear bombs to get the Japanese to surrender. How many will it take to stop the Islamic Jihadists?
And if we had listened to Patton after WWII, there never would have been a Korean War, a Vietnam or a Cold War, because we would have swept into Moscow with the remnants of the German army (and yes, even some Nazis) and destroyed the worst monster of all -- Stalin. But we failed that test and paid the price.

That is interesting. Could you please be more specific and provide the names of such persons, so one could verify the authenticity of your claim and look into circumstances under which they were admitted to the US and "...got jobs and housing, passports, other privileges, etc."

Nothing will change much in the general population until the next 9/11-style attack, or when shopping malls and other public places start attracting suicide bombers. Once awakened from its slumber, the public outcry against Muslims will finally receive the attention it deserves.
This scenario is strangely reminiscent of the Bolshevik and anarchist bombings in the U.S. at the beginning of the 20th century. This resulted in Wilson's harsh use of the Sedition and Espionage acts to suppress anti-war speech during and after WW I, and supported by the Holmes Supreme Court.
Don't forget Roosevelt's infamous internment of Japanese-Americans at the outbreak of WW II.
When the bombs start flying, the Muslims will finally find themselves in a precarious position in the U.S. As it stands, they represent a palpable fifth column in this country and they, and what goes on in their mosques, should be scrutinized very closely.

You are absolutely right. You have a great mind man. Trust me, I'm an independent type and it's tough to get a compliment from me on principle.
The conventional wisdom is that the extremes of a belief-system are aberrations. The truth is they are the purer form of the belief-system, the "mainstream", the "moderate" is further away from the core of the belief-system. At the core of this belief-system are people like Bin Laden. He is to Islam as Saint Francis is to Christianity. We judge the Nazis by their extreme, we must judge anything by its tolerated extreme, that tolerated by the "moderates" of a belief-system.
Folks, as Fitzgerald says, "Keep them out".

Small correction, Mr. Fitzgerald - I think you meant San Francisco State University, not University of San Francisco, a distinct institution. You could have mentioned UC Irvine, various Ivies and little Quaker liberal arts colleges, etc., as well.
I'm 100% solid with you on immigration, Israel, etc. However, your other essays on the war in Iraq leave me up at night, gradually constructing counter-arguments. This was also fueled by attending an outstanding lecture on Monday by Victor Davis Hansen. One day, I will assemble my thoughts and write in. In the meantime, I would love to see a debate on FrontPageMag between you and Dr. Hansen. There are strong arguments on both sides. It would be like King Kong vs. Godzilla ;) but much more enlightening.

You have not addressed the problem that policy is being formed by donations, bribes and placing representatives in Conservative and Liberal groups, administrations and Congress which keep these flood gates open.
Lyndon Johnson started this with his family reunification act and that is pure globalist liberalism followed by Jimmy Carter educating Muslims and Communists in America to "make them American friendly".
It all comes down to money placing agents of communism and Islam into America. The communists want these 3rd world types into America to break up the fabric of the United States people. That is why they chose Latinos as they are Catholic socialists speaking a foreign language to disrupt the continuity of American society.
These are the same forces which advocated aborticide to so lessen white reproduction that 3rd world peoples would be have to imported for work and now to pay Social Security taxes.

Roosevelt emptied southern California of people who had been born in the US. Whole families were deported to Tule Lake and other camps in the desert. It's a safe bet that there were many Americans in that group who never would have turned against us but they were all interned anyway. That can never happen again for two reasons: the first is political correctness and the second is that Muslims are disbursed too broadly in our society.
We can't even hold at GITMO "without trial" people who were picked up on the battlefield or are believed to be enemy combatants. It's why we'll never be safe.
As for America "waking from its slumber", since 9/11 we have had several Muslim attackers killing innocent Americans at colleges and malls. None of them have received more than minimal attention. The MSM and our leaders said that all of them were "disturbed young people" whose actions had no relation to Islam. Their religion was merely a coincidence.
We should have been awakened in 1993 but that was merely a "criminal" act that just happened to kill six people. There were numerous attacks in the 1990s that didn't even make us stir. If 9/11 didn't wake us up I fear we are in a deep hibernation.
This is also a form of complacency that ignores the reality that too many Americans (non-Muslims) believe this is an evil country or that we need to be part of a global community and that we need to "understand" those that would do us harm. In their eyes American lives are worth no more than anyone else's.

In order to stem the flow of terrorist immigration and to stop all and any other means of the jihad or just islam period the elite would first have to actually reckognize islam as the problem.
Does anyone see this happeneing anytime soon that won't include a shortage of body bags?
Every time these people use the media to complain about thier victimhood there should be a well articulated response to thiers.
If the responses are not given fair and equal airtime then questions should be asked as to why.
If lawyers need apply to get the answers or the fair airtime then hire them.
Perhaps a fund should be created for such litigation.

What does one have to do ,get thier saop boxes out ,leave a letter in a safety deposit box telling the world the reason i was murdered by ISLAM was for telling the truth about it?

I agree that a lot of what needs to be done could be done in a caring, sympathetic way (including truth-revealing interviews with islamists). That would shut quite a few critics up. Such as "We know (from this long list of quotes koran, hadith and current islamic leaders), that you can't be happy in a country where women are equal and homosexuality legal. We want you to be happy, so here is a list of countries that embrace the islamic values."
