Hamas: Palestinian infighting is the Jews' fault

Shocker! "The Israelis are behind all these events."

"Hamas blames world, Israel and Arabs," from AP, with thanks to BDT:

The international community, Israel and Arab countries are to blame for the current inter-Palestinian fighting in the Gaza Strip for failing to life an economic siege on the Palestinians, a senior Hamas official said Wednesday.

The remarks by Moussa Abu Marzouk, deputy head of Hamas' political bureau, came as fighting renewed between Hamas and Fatah in Gaza early Wednesday when Hamas gunmen stormed the home of a top Fatah official in Gaza City, killing five bodyguards inside, Palestinian security officials said....

"The international community and Arab countries shoulder part of the responsibility for the current events due to their attitudes toward the national unity government," Abu Marzouk told The Associated Press by telephone in Damascus. "The continued financial and political siege has pushed matters to this simmering tension."

He also blamed Israel and Arab apathy toward the economic sanctions for the fighting.

"The Israelis are behind all these events," Abu Marzouk said. "It's illogical that the Arabs stand idle watching the Palestinian arena while it's on the verge of explosion under the siege. ... This is a constant pressure that has led to a real explosion."

The international community and Arab countries shoulder part of the responsibility

Note like little children, the Hammas take no personal resposibility but blame all others.
they are little fat little zoo fed seals, alway wailing for some food, ie dollars and euros. the world owes them nothing and they need to start becoming civilized and work themselves out of poverty and bad government.

This wanker can’t even have an original thought! Like all anti-Semites/Israel the Jews are the scourge that has caused the world’s woes from the past, present to the future. Whether it is Marzouk, Jimmy Carter or Adolf Hitler, in the end, they are one of the same, blatant Jew-Haters. These gits are mentally and morally challenged racists who are lacking in the ability or want to look in the mirror.
The, sole, reason, Hamas and Fatah are butchering one and other, is quite simple. They are incapable of civility; bloodletting, to them, is their task at hand. A nihilistic lot, (culture is pushing it) which has no desire to evolve.
They are rank bottom-feeders whom loathe Jews, Christians; hell, all those who differ from them. Their career and hobby is killing, if Israelis aren’t available, they massacre each other. The world would be a better place if this nihilistic and psychopathic sort were eradicated, once and for all.

I would love to see a psycho-analys review the muslims people and post their findings.

This truly is a people of denial and no responsibility. Can they own up to anything that is an error?

"The continued financial and political siege has pushed matters to this simmering tension."

Swear off terrorism, recognize Israel and act like civilized people and the siege will be lifted. Simple as that.

Like that'll ever happen.

The Palestinian Authority is circling the drain. Paranoia is a symptom. The replacement for the PA will be chaos and the Gaza strip will resemble the Niger delta, but without the oil or ethnic aspect of the conflict there. If the other Arabs hate the Palestinians now, and refuse to allow them to settle in their countries, it will only get worse. The best thing Israel can do is allow the people a way out, but no one wants them.

LOL@ topic...

Israelis shake their heads at this BS every day.

Oooook, so...according to their logic, imagine hearing this from the outside:

"WE can't agree on the time of day! WE're gonna kill each other!...amd it's all YOUR fault!!!"

MmmmHMMMM.

When there are not any palastinians left in Isreal, there will be peace. Think about that statement. The inverse of this will not lead to peace. Think about that one. How can Israeli relations with the Muslim world be any worse than it is now? They may as well round them all up and send them to Egypt, Jordan, Syria, and Saudi Arabia and be done with it.

"The international community, Israel and Arab countries are to blame for the current inter-Palestinian fighting in the Gaza Strip for failing to lift an economic siege on the Palestinians, a senior Hamas official said Wednesday."
-- from the article above

Ever since 1948, the U.N. has favored, and lavished tens of billions of dollars, on one group --- and on one group only in the entire world -- of refugees. Not the blacks in southern Sudan, not Kurds fleeing into the northern fastneeses, not Congolese nor Ugandans nor Zimbabweans fleeing their countries, not the Biafrans, not those fleeing persecution from the Pakistani Army in Bangladesh (then East Pakistan) in 1970-71, not any of the tens of millions of refugees, in dozens of places, who have been given so pitifully little. No, it has been only the Arab refugees (the Jewish refugees from Arab lands, who far outnumbered the Arabs who claimed to have been "expelled" when the evidence overwhelmingly shows that they left not because they were expelled but, beginning in late 1947, they wanted to get out of the way of the hostilities which would begin when the Jews declared their independence, and the Arab armies invaded) who have been so favored by the U.N. And UNRWA has been the vehicle for the lavishment of goods and services on people, their rolls constantly expanding as Arabs in neighboring countries would sign up -- and who can blame them? -- in places such as Lebanon and Jordan and Syria as if they, too, were simply "Arab refugees." And the billions came in. And the rolls expanded, and no Arab on the list ever seemed to die, and be stricken from the list.

And the personnel of UNRWA changed, too. Now it is almost entirely Arab, or "Palestinian." And these "Palestinians" who run UNRWA are not about to hold to proper accounting other "Palestinians," and the fantastic corruption and waste of the U.N. money (or rather the money of countries contributing to the U.N.) has been accompanied, in the last decade or two, by more billions coming not from UNRWA but directly, from Western European nations and North America. In other words, the money is almost entirely from Infidels.

That is, the "Palestinians" and other Arabs and Muslims believe, only right, only just, only exactly as it should be. The Infidels of this world owe the "Palestinians" and all other Muslims a living. If they can get it by charging oligopolistic rents for oil and gas, fine. But if they don't have oil and gas, then it is up to the Infidels to supply them, all of them, with aid. Not up to fellow members of the umma, no matter how rich. No, only the Infidels.

And though we all know that when Arafat died up to 5-6 billion dollars disappeared with him, and though we all know that his "wife" made off with tens or even hundreds of billions, and though we all know that Zuheir Mohsen was assassinated at his Cannes penthouse and that every other leader of every Palestinian group also has received a rich reward (how much has Abbas helped himself and his family too, all these many years?), the Infidels still seem to think it is up to them to pay for the "Palestinians" who are not exactly suffering the way some think they are. The phrase"refugee camp" may fit people in Darfur and Chad. It does not fit the West Bank, or Gaza, with those DVD-rental stores, those Internet cafes, those indolent young men, marching about in their black balaclavas and never doing any work, and even has room, in these supposed "refugee camps," for interior decorators as I learned from a story only yesterday, that happened to identify a "Palestiian" who was quoted as "an interior decorator."

And what happens when the Western countries finally stop pouring in the money, try not to simply have that money siphoned off by corrupt rulers, or to pay for weaponry (Gaza is an armed camp, thanks to Western aid) and explosives, for the choices by the local Arabs on what they will spend this money are highly revealing.

Look at the excerpt from the article that is at the top of this posting. This "Palestinian" official sees nothing wrong with, has no idea what is wrong with, his describing the turning off of the aid tap, at long last, when the Fast Jihadists who do not disguise their annihilationist aims, came to power (through "democracy," natch) and, because they do not even pretend to mask those aims as the Slow Jihadists of Fatah sometimes do (as with the corrupt, but suit-and-tie wearing Abbas), simply couldn't be openly given aid any longer (save, of course, for that renewed by the viciously anti-Israel Norwegian government -- but Norway is a special case, as Bruce Bawer makes clear in "While Europe Slept").

After so much grand theft, so much corruption, so much misuse of Infidel money for warlike purposes, the decision by Infidel governments to cease giving the "Palestinians" even more money (and tales of their "suffering" are absurd and exaggerated) is not only justified, but just. If they need mooney, they can get it from fellow members of the umma, taking in hundreds of billions annually (Saudi Arabia gets almost a billion dollars a day from its oil -- surely it can spare one or two days of its take, for which it does absolutely nothing).

And the Infidels should never again renew that aid, but spend it on immmediate victims of Islam, including Christian internal refugees whose homes and churches have been destroyed, in southern Sudan, in the Moluccas, and elsewhere -- and don't forget the Buddhists of southern Thailand.

For this "Palestinian" to dare to call the ending of such unwarranted and unmerited aid an "economic siege" that must be "lifted" is grotesque. If the Mafia complained that storeowners were no longer contributing to its coffers, no longer willing to have money extorted as "protection money" (which is what the Jizyah always was, and is), and some Al-Capone like thug were to complain about this "economic siege" that had to be "lifted," we would laugh -- at least behind his back. Laugh not behiind the back, but right in front, of this "Palestinian" Arab and his entirely unrighteous, but amazingly real, indignation.

The international community, Israel and Arab countries are to blame for the current inter-Palestinian fighting in the Gaza Strip for failing to life an economic siege on the Palestinians, a senior Hamas official (Moussa Abu Marzouk) said Wednesday.

Please, please, please let's just pull out of Iraq now and let the whole Middle East fall into civil war & blow each other up. That will end the flow of Saudi money and the pretensions to importance of all these stupid little Muslim enclaves worldwide. Unfortunately, there will be Islamic cretins in the oil-producing countries who will set every oil well and refinery on fire. There will then be global cooling due to smoke from the eternal fires. We'll have a giant economic shudder, and will go back to coal or forward to nuclear or oil-shale. But we will remain free, and Islam will fade back into 7th-century bliss for another hundred years or so.

To counteract scenes of violence by 'peaceful' Palestinians,BBC flashed caption on ticker -ISRAELI BROTHERS ARRESTED IN HATE CRIME OF STABBING PALESTINIAN TAXI DRIVER...

I joked about this to my partner yesterday, when the news reported the infighting: 'oh, it must be the Jews' fault!' I should have known...

Every day I'm more thoroughly through with the left-wing idea I used to somewhat share, that perpetrators are partly victims themselves. In the end, if they pick up a weapon and kill someone, whatever has happened to them: they have the choice, at that moment, to kill or not to kill.

Yes, they need to take FULL responsibility for their actions.

Posted by: Lili [TypeKey Profile Page] at May 16, 2007 7:04 PM

Much the world has figured out their shtick. They need to get creative, blaming the Jews, the world, the Martians for everything is tired worn out oh so twentieth century rhetoric. The shooting themselves in the foot and crying the Jew did it while pointing in all directions is kinda funny yet sorta sad at the same time. The trouble is the Israeli’s are building a wall and it is getting harder for them to attack their citizens. Darn it, they are losing control of themselves! But what did we expect? So they have to have someone to kill, anyone, might as well be each other. After all there are few opportunities these days to abduct and convert journos/diplomats that in the past was a sure fire western attention getter. Hmmm I wonder why that is? Have the journos/diplomats figured out it is not safe to “report or negotiate” from that area? Are the journodips really quite informed as to their intentions but hiding it (trying at least) from us just the same? Naw, couldn’t be, could it?

No deep analysis needed here: "Give us money or we terrorists and terrorist backers will keep killing each other!".

Yeah, we'll be sure to get right on that.

Who cares who they blame (we all know who they will blame) anyway. As long as they keep killing themselves.....who cares.

I do however fail to see how this infighting is supposed to show it's children the peace of islam.

As FARTFUR is suppoded to teach them.

Then again i guess thats why they blame the jews.

Any day now i am waiting to hear that funding for our soldiers will be cut,but jizya to the palistinian will be trippled to bail thier worthless hides out.

Just about time for the pals to start running out of rockets the dimmis will run in with brief cases full of cash.

Any with the inteligence to not let these people wallow in thier rot should be forced to live with THEM.

How about 5 bucks to any fatah that puts FARTFUR to sleep.....permanantly.

Lets see renounce violence, recognize Isreal's right to exist and honor agreements signed by previous Palestinian governments. Meets those conditions and "aid" is restored, refuse and go hungry.Seems simple to me. Only in the Muslim world would that choice be "confusing".The problem for the Palestinians is that Isreal built a security fence which makes it much more difficult for the Palestinians to murder Isrealis which means the Palestinians have to kill each other instead, and much of the world no longer cares.

Shin Bet nor Mosaad has pulled this off, but the neo Syrian Philistine communist is on the right track.

Shin Bet has sanctioned this to be a religious war at their instigation in aiding forces of Fatah which are acting in their own self centered power grab.

Arab states such as Jordan do not want a united "Palestinian" government as they have tons of them in Jordan who almost overthrew that government a generation ago.
The Egyptians do not want this radical communist ilk ruling on their doorstep allied with Syria giving them real problems
...and the Saudi's loathe these "Palestinians" to death.

So all parties involved in the region including the Europeans who want the "Palestinians" fractionalized for their coming power grab want these people murdering each other.

Olmert's cabal included is using the different factions to murder Judeans who are Conservative, Orthodox and American to drive them out of Israel and stop aliyah. This leaves his European Ashkenazi as a minority in control of all Judea east and west bank.

So yes Marzouk is correct, but it is more like the gathering against Julius Caesar.......someone must die and the gathered powers have all signed off that the neo Syrian Philistines are to be armed by Iran and Russia, herded into the current kill zones and neutralized leaving only a Fatah regime which all can control.

The powers tried the humane approach to democracy, but as this was sqaundered now the solution to eradicate numbers of neo Syrian Philistines is deemed more humane than multi millions dying in revolution from Algeria to Saudi Arabia.

Marzouk has sealed the communists fate in his power grab in Hamas.
They tried long ago killing the buffalo than killing the Indians to tame them, but ended up killing the Indian too as they would not be tamed. The same solution is being worked out in Palestine now by all parties.

This is the first of a number of small wars which will erupt into WMD being used before the big boys of Eurasia start the real war.

Speaking of cartoons, I see a resemblance in our conflict with the islamists and the roadrunner(us)/wile e coyote(them) series of the past. The coyote spends all his time trying to blow up shoot down or sabotage the roadrunner who only wants to eat seeds, chase sherunners and mind his own business. Looking back now, I believe the coyote was a closet islamist and probably would have got together (networked) with hamrat to put out a few episodes, maybe even a series of their own. Of course in real life the coyote achieves his goal once in a while so its not entirely a mirror image.
Is GS the Walt Disney of islamofascism?

A thought about assault rifles and Muslims. There is a point of diminishing return where additional numbers of small arms pose minimal increased risk to civilized societies. As Muslims do not mass to fight in organized formation, there is only a certain number of weapons they can use at one time. Maybe two thousand rifles.

Part of me thinks that President Bush is an evil genius for bankrupting our society sooner than later, and for engineering secretarian strife in the Middle East to weaken Islam. This part of me thinks that the President has flooded the Palestinian Authority with small arms under the false premise of ‘boosting security’, knowing full well what will actually happen on the ground.

All in the name of peace.

How’s that for a conspiracy theory. Booga Booga. We’re out to get you.

Lame Cherry: "Olmert's cabal included is using the different factions to murder Judeans who are Conservative, Orthodox and American to drive them out of Israel and stop aliyah. This leaves his European Ashkenazi as a minority in control of all Judea east and west bank."

The problem is not that he believes nothing. The problem is that he believes anything.

When Mr./Ms. Cherry is satisfactorily able to identify the "east...bank", then we may make some progress.

Until then, ignore the nutter.

What would be your reaction if you learned that the Americans, or the Europeans (Massimo d'Alema is already considering making an offer) were to send "peace-keeping" troops to Gaza, to make sure that the Slow Jihadists of Fatah (more corrupt, less fanatically religious) and the Fast Jihadists of Hamas (less corrupt, more fanatically religious) would no longer make war on each other.

You'd be very sad. You'd wonder why the Americans and the Europeans did this. You'd have wanted the conflict to go on forever. Admit it. You would. And you would be perfectly justified.

Why, then, when it is clear that the Sunnis, of all sorts (the Ba'athist avengers, the non-Baathist avengers, the Al-Qaeda people from outside Iraq, and even a tiny group of Iraqis who are part of Al Qaeda), and the Shi'a of all sorts (those who follow slavishly Moqtada al-Sadr, those connected to Iranian-linked SCIRI, those linked to Hizb al-Da'wa), not to mention subgroups, groupuscules, and so on, will all go at each other once the Americans leave, do a few people still think it makes sense to remain in Iraq?

Have those people really fallen for the latest Administration line that brings back Al Qaeda, front and center, even though the American government knows perfectly well that Al Qaeda does not have 5,000 men in all of Iraq, and Iraq has 27 million people who do not belong to Al Qaeda, and neither the Kurds, nor the Shi'a (of any variety), nor the Ba'athist Sunnis, nor the Sunis of the Anbar tribes, or many of them, favor Al Qaeda or wish it anything but dead. Yet that instant "expert" on Al Qaeda, who before 2001 had never written a line either about Al Qaeda or about Islam, but had written six books on the Tamil Tigers and their local terrorism, tells a group in London, with great and completely baseless assurance (he's managed to convince all kinds of people as to his "expertise" about terorrism --about Islam, and the fissures within Islam, and why they will not go away, and how they can best be exploited in Iraq, Mr. Ronan Gunaratna, "expert" on terrorism, has nothing to say -- for he knows nothing. Perhaps the American government, directly or indirectly, is his client.

For why else, one wonders, would he utter such silliness as that Iraq will turn into an Al Qaeda Disneyland, a fun-fair for Al Qaeda? Does he think that the Kurds in the north (and Kirkuk may soon explode), that the Shi'a, that Iranian agents (once the Americans are out and no longer a target of Al Qaeda), that anyone at all in Iraq will favor Al Qaeda, or be unable, inexorably, to deal with it in good time, and employing the kind of tactics that the Americans not only never allow themselves, but never allow the Iraqis to employ. And that holding back is what has prevented the Shi'a militias and others from really damaging Al Qaeda and those who are its natural supporters, who can be driven out of Baghdad as the city is taken, by and for Shi'a Islam.

Is this a bad thing? When we have simultaneous dire warnings that Iraq will "be taken over by Al Qaeda" and that Iraq will "be taken over by the Shi'a and Iran" shouldn't be allowed to stop and think a bit? Surely these two things cannot both happen. Could it be that the forces are so aligned against each other that only permanent warfare, low-level or not, is the likely, or indeed almost certain outcome, of an American withdrawal? On what basis should we concede to Ronan Gunaratna his claim of being an "expert" -- and an "expert" in the right things? Why, when did Ronan Gunaratna begin to discover the ethnic and sectarian fissures within Iraq? When did he begin to discover the other useful fissures within Islam, and when did he offer up a systematic program for exploiting those fissures so as to weaken the Camp of Islam?

Never. That's when.

As in Gaza, so in Iraq. Divide et -- not impera, but at least hold at bay, until Infidels everywhere can complete their course of quick study.

Amidst all of this, notice how the BBC (or the PBC as it should be called) is barely mentioning, or at least downplaying, the attacks currenly being made by Hamas against Israel. But when Israel eventually responds in justifiable self-defence and some unfortunate Palestinians get caught in the crossfire, the BBC will be no doubt make a big meal of this, spinning more anti-Israeli propaganda as is its wont.

There is no desire for peace by the Pals.

Theres peace talks of a sort being made so now hammas lets loose of volleys of rockets to bring Israel into the infighting.

Israel is about to blow from day in day out rocket attacks, let alone volleys of 20.

How can the "international comminity" expect them to continue to just sit there.

Funny how I think it's aggression and acts of war.I must be crazy to think such a thing.

I guess the israelies are to just stand out there and get killed and when enough pile up then israel could defend herself....AS long....as long as they do NOT use disproportional force.

Meaning they are only allowed enough force as to accomplish nothing. As the last time and the time before and that time before that.....

As of course the Pals use all the money they do have to keep well supplied with materials to continue the onslaught of rockets.

Meanwhile the teachers and the workers can get no pay because they have nothing to work at or for but churning out soldiers.

It's the front lines of an endless struggle,or till the day.

Islam has kept the 1400 yr war going in this spot and it plans to do so.No matter how many treaties are made.

This is islams humiliation.Every day they wake up till they lay thier heads down at night that star that is Israel shines down on them.

The Aim of the Palestinians of the PLO Hammas or Fatah has NEVER been the establishment of a Palestinian State.
It has always been the extermination of the Israeli Jews.
Palestine was a useful reinvention by the British in their efforts to bring down zionism and restrict Jewish immigration so that they could for political reasons claim that Zionism was an abject failure and help themselves to 75% of the land that had been earmarked for Jewsih settlement in the Balfour declaration.
That is why Lord Samuels, a traitor to Judaism. appointed Al Hussein's as grand mufti to foment attacks on Jewish communities and destroy the possibility of Jews believing they could live without fear of extermination in Israel.

Assalamau Laikum all,

It is true that this has happened as a result of Isreal...if you look at a very high level over history...it is also true that Hamas got power as a result of Israel.

It is also true that governing through political means is beyond these lunds. As many have said here...their conditioning does not allow them to see beyond their AK47s. Their conditioning does not allow them to get beyond seeing the Israels there.

Allah SWT has given them a golden chance for them to rule...they don't have to recognise Isreal immediately...merely not give them hassle...do it for your peoples... what's it going to take?

Instead, the whole world world is laughing seeing at these lunds struggle...this is as it should be ...because they are not used to anything else.... this is so annoyoing ...Allah SWT give me strength.

You have any idea how sad all of this makes me feel?

The Israelis want nothing more than a peace that works for everybody.. they are willing to give concessions and spend their money.. share their knowledge and their enterprise with those whom many of those very Israelis see as their Mediterranean and Semitic Brethren..

And each and every time they do it keeps getting thrown back in their face[s].

It really is so sad to make one cry...

These intrepid and forward-thinking Jews who have settled the arrid and inhospitable lands of their forefathers, having made these lands flourish and prosper in the face of lack of resources and continual assualt and animosity..

these brave and optimistic Jews who thought to create a wonderful New World after the Holocaust they just survived in Europe..

..only to find themselves faced with just these same attitudes vis-a-vis the very new neighbors whom they so desperatly thought they could make a new and brilliant home and society with!

What a shame indeed that the people among whom these so-called 'Zionists' settled with and indeed sought refuge with from the frigid reality of persecution and extermination.. what a shame indeed that those who now claim so loudly persecution at the hand of these formerly so idealistic Israelite Refugees of the Holocaust.. what a shame indeed that they were not welcomed with open arms back into the fold of the Peoples of the Holy Lands of God..

..as the persecuted brethren returning from the scarred battlefields of the inhospitable North?

That optimism laid to waste by those who simply cannot tolerate Jews or anyone else as their equals.. no matter how badly they were persecued in their Northern homlands...

..I can only imagine how this must have felt to the Jews returning to the Lands of their Ancestry..

..the disappointment. the hurt.. the dread feeling of *WILL IT EVER STOP?*..

I guess only God can explain why they are known not only to themselves and their own as *THE CHOSEN*.

As much as I am an agnostic [which is anything BUT an Atheist, FYI] I cannot help but wonder if I am indeed witness to some miraculous Godly plan.

If indeed there is a God she or he has definitely a twisted sense of humor..

Why else would all the oil be found underneath the sand of the most ardent islamists?

They'd have never had the chance to even remotely challenge the advanced and free-thinking societies of the post-WW2 West if this vital resource hadn't been located underneath their very soil.

So if indeed there is a God [the existance of whom an agnostic - unlike an atheist - doesn't factually deny].. this God certainly seems to exhibit a very subtle sense of humor an irony..

..just when Nazism and fascism had been thought vanquished and the Freedom of Pure Thought - no matter how absurd or simply out-there - taking a paramount place in all our Western Societies..

..we are being brought right back down to Earth via the challenge of a centuries-old creed which has never re-examined nor altered its ultimate and final objective.

I am almost compelled to acknowledge the Divine because of this very challenge we are presently faced with.

How do we retain our humanity while we resist and confront an uncompromising faith-based ideology which is based upon the annihilation of us all.

The very idea of God as I am conceiving it here from an agnostic point of view would have to disappear and never be heard from again should those who so confidently proclaim their position of the One and True God and Faith in Him prevail over the rest of Mankind.

The very notion of Mankind's Free Reasoning and questioning of God being made permanently unlawful and subsequently replaced with the "One and Only Way" is simply against the very idea of God-ness.

God - if indeed s/he exists - wouldn't have given us this gift of Reasoning.. of questioning.. if S/he meant to govern over us as a bunch of mindless automatons.

Indeed I say this: if God is as the mahometans proclaim allah to be then I shall resist and fight this imperfect god.

No True God would ever proclaim that the death of those who don't follow or believe in Him/Her should be put to death or made slaves to those who proclaim they do.

God as a Pure Principle is higher than the basest desires and ambitions of Man. Or else - why bother?

If God is indeed as low and base as the one named allah as proclaimed by the followers of islam.. then we as free-thinking and idealistic peoples have not only every right to RESIST this enslavement. It is indeed our DUTY to fight and resist to submit to this idea of God. EVEN if it were to be the last and unaltered Truth.

I simply cannot perceive of being given the gift of reason by the Divine - in whatever form it exists - only to be expected to discard all reason and humanity ti follow its dictates.

Therefore.. I do NOT believe that allah is the true representation of God nor - lacking cognizant proof from other sources - do I believe that there is a God as proclaimed by the other 'organized religions' which I as a Westerner have come in contact with.

As an agnostic I do not deny the existence of the Divine - in fact the longer I live the more I am beginning to know there is a Higher Something than my own self - but if there is one thing I do know for a fact.. there is no vengeful and petty God that any of us need to kill or subjugate one another for.

Such a God would simply deny the basic Humanity of those of us who think otherwise.

A real God would never be so petty.

This goes mainly for islam nowadays but should be food for thought for anyone who follows an absolutist claim on the Divine via a restrictive catechism they may not yet have questioned.

It is my belief as an agnostic that if indeed there is a Divine.. and I truly HOPE there is.. that we are expected to accept and use our cognitive capacities which we do have - for not only our own benefit but for the benefit of all that is/are around us.

No religion or creed can be expected to absolve each and every one of us for failing to both realize and question this Being of the Divine within ourselves.

To realize this means also to know that this Divine rests inside all our fellow Wo/men and other beings on this planet. We are thus bound to treat all that surrounds us as equally Divine.

HOWEVER.. when we are confronted with a force which negates all and every one of these Divine Ideals.. then and only then.. we are obliged to muster all of our courage.. shed aside all our prior reservations resulting from just our very hard-won ideals.. in order that we may be prepared to stand victoriously in the very defence thereof.

We shall feel no satisfaction in shedding the blood of our misguided brothers.. because all of us have indeed been created in the Love and image of God.. yet we must to know that we have no other choice but to confront the evil which posseseth them at the ultimate price of blood.

We know that we shall finally be victorious - but we shall never be joyous over the blood that we shall have to shed in the defence of that which makes all of Mankind in attainment of the Principles of the Divine.

These Divine Principles are doubtlessly shared even by the most ardent Atheists among us.

To believe in and to defend the immutable rights of Free Women and Men requires no particular creed.

We hold these truths to be self-evident and we will die in their defence.

At this time I can only urge all who read this to reconsider their preconceptions and thoughts.

I urge you to see the Divine in your fellow Wo/Man. And in all which surrounds us as well.

Once you are certain you have given true and honest consideration of all Beings as Creation of the Divine and yet they still come against you wishing to subdue you or to take the life of your fellow Men or yourself...

..you are in my understanding commanded to rise in defence of the ideals of the Divine as protector of all creatures created as such.

You may not be cowardly seeking to spare your own life whilst being witness to any act against the rights of any creature of God by standing aside in conscience of this violation.

We are commanded to save lives even if we are in jeopardy of losing our own.

This is in total opposition to those who strike out in order to take lives of the unaware.

There is indeed no God who unites all faiths.

The attacks at the Munich Olympics would never have been possible otherwise.

There was no God at Auschwitz either.

We are the ones who failed to stand up in the face of evil and for the Divine.

Those who so cynically and barbarically wrought terror on Jewish athletes at the Munich Olympics may possibly be guilty of an even greater violation of the Sanctity we all are meant to uphold - if there is indeed a Divine.

Even if there is not. There are certain things you just simply don't do.

No matter what.

If you are unable/unwilling to see the Divine in your fellow Men even at the Olympic Games - then so help us God!

So Help Us God.

We all truly need help after I witnessed that.

So.. in the face of a creed which holds all others as not only inferior but - more importantly as an affront to their god - we not only have the right to defend ourselves and anyone similarly attacked.

We have in fact the duty to preserve ourselves so that we may preserve those unable to do so.

If we fail to act in the face of knowledge we not only brand ourselves as despicable cowards. We also become willful accomplices of evil.

Once we know an evil is being committed it is indeed our Divine responsability to step in and help.

Just like saving a person from drowning if we see them in peril.

A drowning person will most likely accept our help whilst those who don't sense themselves in any danger may reasonably reject our assertion that they are.

All we can do in such a case is stay near and try to save them when peril does befall them.

Any person has their free Will and Reason so we cannot impose upon them - even when we know the danger they are putting themselves in. Even if they are placing ourselves and others around them into peril as well.

Respect of Free conscience and will is naturally a Given if you think of the Divine.

Yes I said *think*. No need to believe. The very concept should guide you through this.

To finally sum it all up.. We have a Divine Right to defend and save ourselves. We have a duty yo defend and save others.

As such we have the right to use whatever means necessary.

Anyone who has some concept of the Divine will do so only with great reluctance.

I hope i've made a bit of sense in a senseless and crazy world.

Thank God I am not an atheist. Even us agnostics need something to believe in..

Good night everyone.

"economic siege"

Taxpayers all over the West are under "economic siege".

Today was tax freedom day in New York City. Last anywhere in the United States I believe.

Many Europeans won't see tax freedom day till after August.

How are we and these Europeans supposed to feel when we see our taxes going to buy guns for flag-burning and AK47-buying maniacs who call for our deaths?

Does anyone think that you'd be treated any different than how they treated the wheelchair-bound Leon Klinghoffer when those who commandeered the cruisehip he was on?

For those who don't know or need to be reminded.. he was pushed overboard for the 'sin' of speaking up to the terrorists who commandeered the Mediterranean cruise ship he was on.

I still think they should rename that stretch of E. 10 St between Broadway and Fourth Avernue he lived on in his name, but then who am I..?

Problem is.. there aren't very many Jews in the world compared to the rest of the population.

Meeting one or a few Jewish people in person - as I've been fortunate to - certainly goes a long way to seeing beyond the abstractions served up by all sorts of ignoramuses and bigots.

I can testify that I couldn't have met nicer people than the Jews I've met. I didn't even know they were a lot of the time. Especially when I first got to New York.

Suffice to say they're just as diverse as any other group.. politically and socially and whatever else.

Too bad there are so few.. the Jews best speak and act for themselves.

I hope I made my point in the way i mean to.

Like all the Nazies, muslims blame the Jews for everything. I imagine muslims protesting and shouting

"We don't wash because Jews are stealing our water and our soaps"

or

"We are pedophiles because Jews are stealing our older women"

or

"We are killing infidels because the Jews are tricking us to do so every time"

Why these rag heads don't admit that they are just stupid and the only one that should blame is the person that they see when they face a mirror????

"Hamas gunmen ambushed a police jeep containing their own fighters, who had been arrested by Fatah’s Preventive Security forces. The Hamas fighters killed two Fatah men as well as five of their own men.'

...I fail to see any Jewish involvent in this incident...these Muslims are so trigger happy and blood thristy, they shoot at anything belonging to the other guy, just like old MO attacking the other guys caravan....
...Maybe they knew who was in the jeep and killed them as punishment for being caught, thereby denying them their promised virgins.

"But what happens to the vast majority of Muslims, those who do not die as martyrs?

According to Islamic doctrine, between the moment of death and the burial ceremony, the spirit of a deceased Muslim takes a quick journey to Heaven and Hell, where it beholds visions of the bliss and torture awaiting humanity at the end of days.

By the time corpse handlers are ready to wash the body, the spirit returns to earth to observe the preparations for burial and to accompany the procession toward the cemetery. But then, before earth is piled upon the freshly dug grave, an unusual reunion takes place: The spirit returns to dwell within the body.

In the grave, the deceased Muslim - this composite of spirit and corpse - encounters two terrifying angels, Munkar and Nakir, recognized by their bluish faces, their huge teeth and their wild hair.

These angels carry out a trial to probe the soundness of a Muslim's faith. If the dead Muslim answers their questions convincingly and if he has no sin on record, then the grave is transformed into a luxurious space that makes bearable the long wait until the final judgment.

But if a Muslim's faith is imperfect or if he has sinned during life by, for example, failing repeatedly to undertake purity rituals before prayer, then the grave is transformed into an oppressive, constricting space.

The earth begins to weigh down heavily upon the sentient corpse, until the rib cage collapses; worms begin to nibble away at the flesh, causing horrible pain.

This torture does not continue indefinitely. It occurs intermittently and ends at the very latest with the resurrection - when God may well forgive Muslims who have endured the punishment.

Surely this violence sounds medieval. Belief in "the torture of the grave" indeed stretches way back in history. It appears in eighth-century epitaphs and in early Islamic traditions, which elevated this belief to the status of dogma.

But pious Muslims today continue to adhere to this belief. In invocations, funeral prayers, sermons, and popular literature, Muslims are frequently reminded to heed this punishment.

Anecdotal evidence suggests that many of them take it seriously. The psychologist Ahmed M. Abdel-Khalek, who has studied anxieties about death among Arab youth, has found that preoccupation with the torture of the grave remains acute.

The Egyptians and Kuwaitis he polled worried about this torture more than they feared losing a dear relative or succumbing to a serious, fatal disease.

Recently, an Islamist Web site posted a picture of an 18-year-old man exhumed by the order of his father. Only three hours had passed since his burial, but already his corpse appeared aged and bruised. Scientists, according to the story, affirmed that this was caused by the torture of the grave; and the father explained that his son had been a sinner.

Many Muslims commenting on the picture took it as a sign from God to stop sinning and as a reminder to pray assiduously for relief from the punishment of the tomb. Several doubted the reality of the picture, prompting the author of the Web site to remove the posting and to apologize for it. But even a skeptic who challenged the "scientific" evidence professed in this public forum his belief in the reality of the torture of the grave.

Muslims can escape the torture of the grave by dying as martyrs. In Islam the category of martyr does not belong exclusively to those who die fighting in God's path. According to Islamic tradition, Muslims who die in a fire, by drowning, in the collapse of a building or in some other way involving great physical suffering merit the rank of martyrs in the afterlife.

This means that immediately after death, their spirits do not return to dwell within mutilated or burned corpses. Instead they enter the Garden of Eden, where they receive new bodies, perfectly reformed, so as to enjoy the rewards of martyrdom until the resurrection. Those who have lost a relative in a violent and shocking death - in the bombings in Baghdad, for instance - may find some consolation in this belief."

"The Israelis are behind all these events,"

Offcourse they are. Or some other infidels. But it can be peace loving muslims. Actually, judging by FM-s islamic conference, its all islamophobia. Or by their own words: Islamophobia is a worst kind of terrorism. Stay tuned for more guiltyness.

When Fatah and Hamas have brawls
And struggles in their dirty pig-stalls,
It sure isn't news
When they blame the JOOOZ.
To think so, Oh no! My flesh crawls!

Allahfanculo, go read the Bible. I suggest you begin with the Gospel according to John. You may be tumbling into Christianity, and I would urge you to enjoy the plunge.
