He is waiting though for either more bombs or in his mystic revelations "a sign" or Iran has so hemmed his Islamofascists with their Islamocommunists or certain powers will hand him over if he acts or all of the above, bin Laden is playing this chessboard as expertly as he always has.

This is news that Director Mueller actually is making this public and might be the "Jericho warning" by the government confirming that once America is removed from Iraq according to bin Laden's objectives that this is the "sign" for him to attack America to ruin the economy.

Amazing thing the people cheering Iraq withdrawal might be in bin Laden's "sign" and the very reason America looses on of several cities and has numbers of Chernobyl hot zones killing people in cancer for the next 100 years.

I liked the FrontPageMagazine article on the structure of the Global Jihadist ideology. What was important for me to again learn that most of the majority of common people can really only deal with thier internal software and being the best people they can be given the random nature of how a person is born into the world

As I was reading this post by Robert, before clicking to read the comments, I was thinking, "Oh, I hope Lame Cherry has posted something because he always seems to have such insight and inside information. I do think there has been some recent intel to this effect because earlier this week CNN had a segment on what to do if there is a nuclear disaster and on the same day my mother phoned to tell me the National Guard in Ohio is being trained on how to handle nuclear disasters, and now this statement from Dir. Mueller all within a few days. My question is....how can the nuclear suitcases be rebuilt because after a few years the uranium becomes too weak to be effective? And...from what I've read, Al Qaeda will attack after we have attacked Iran because then they will have the justification to kill 10 million people.

Our leaders will not act to prevent these attacks on our soil. They will always stick their heads in the sand..ignoring threats or merely giving lip service about it until the day it happens. After an attack the response will not, no matter how violent, make up for the damage done by the enemy's first blow. In addition to the physical damage and lives lost will be the collapse of our economy. It will always be the same story.

When it does happen, hopefully our citizens will remember for more than a couple of years, and our government will be willing to take the actions necessary to eliminate any future threat.

First degree murder is a capital crime under nearly all legal statutes in the civilized world. That is a very powerful legal weapon that remains to wielded against Islam. Espcially as religious rights in the United States are NOT absolute--many native American religious rites, notably those involving the use of peyote, ARE outlawed and have been for generations. Islam and its jihads can certainly join the list.

It is time to wield that legal weapon against Islam and have it outlawed NOW before it massacres again.

We have seen many occasions where Muslims have had ample opportunity to condemn the actions of their brethren here and abroad, on a scale comparable to the riots resulting from the ‘cartoon publication’. We’ve never seen RAGE against the ‘hijackers’ of the religion of peace. What we do see however is continual pleas for sympathy and simpering utterances of regret that these acts of Islamic terrorism are putting the huddled masses of fear ridden Muslims in danger of a backlash.
Well, one can come to one’s own conclusions as to why we don’t see much Muslim outrage when their brethren put them in danger of backlash and if that conclusion results in the epiphany as to why these people are strangely quiet, except when they themselves or their ‘religion’ is under attack (most of it verbal) then perhaps it will be of no great interest or concern to the majority of the population to find that the Islamic community end up in places like this, in the event of a nuclear attack on the US mainland

Of course it would be extremely controversial, but leaders of the Arab nations need to feel real heat. Been there, done that. Bill Clinton wielded the very powerful legal weapon against the first WTC bombers and it did nothing to prevent future attacks. When Islamists commit first degree murder they usually kill themselves in the process, leaving no one upon whom to wield that weapon.

And NO I'm not an apologist for Islam, I would just like to understand how you think the legal weapon would produce results when the murderers are dead.

The only legal weapon we have before innocents are murdered is the conspiracy angle and it's the hardest crime to prove. You can't control access to weapons since too many of them use weapons that are easily available - box cutters and knives are not controlled. You can't stop them from driving a car. Explosives have commercial applications such as demolition. You'll rarely have someone plant a truck bomb and leave. He's more likely to drive it himself to ensure maximum casualties.

Unfortunately no one in power will make this promise and I don't trust any of them to follow through even if they did. It's more likely they'll call for "calm and not to not act hastily" etc.

Rather than even take the act of blowing up the Grand Mosque (a minimal reaction, in my view) it's more likely we'll hear something along the lines of "We mustn't penalize a billion peaceful Muslims for the actions of a few".

THAT IS WHAT I EXPECT TO HEAR FROM ALL LEADERS.

Michael Savage thinks that when push comes to shove we will hand the Islamists their heads and he points to Hiroshima and Nagasaki.

I think he's wrong. The world was a larger place back then and we had leaders who were willing to act ruthlessly in order to save America. Nothing remotely similar to the Japanese internment could ever happen now.

That was then. This is now.

Today we turn the other cheek. We ask why others hate us and how we can make things right again. We have lost our (cultural) will to live. The people who are willing to fight will never win elections. Exhibit A is Tom Tancredo. The only way we will survive is with a total breakdown of law and order and with Americans overthrowing the current government and taking the law into their own hands and eliminating Islam. "We need to talk to our allies and come up with sanctions against the Iranian (just an example - this statement assumes Iran was the source) government. We can't punish the Iranian people for the actions of their government. We will act to prevent the spread of war. We will go to the UN Security Council and get a resolution against the Iranian government and we will get sanctions to prevent their program from growing but we will be sure these sanctions are not unduly harsh since we don't want to punish the innocent people of Iran."

Assuming he survives such an attack, this is the type of statement I would expect from the Reid/Pelosi/Clinton crowd.

When my buddy was sent from Canada to Buffalo for emergency spine surgery, he set off the radiation detector at the border because of the dye injected into his system a WEEK prior. If they try bringing it in near one of these babies, they will get caught I suspect.

I disagree. islam was able to flourish just because of, as you put it, civilized peoples. These peoples never had the stomach to do the needful for wiping this movement from the face of the earth. Yes, there were occasions when our people (both in Europe and in South Asia) did it, but they never wiped out all of it (think w & c). Our human values are responsible for the mess that we are in today. I am not blaming your ancestors or mine, they were just that, brave, but human.

The "crazy cowboys" would have solved a global problem, -and could then have been mocked by the "superior and more civilized" Europeans, in the decades to come, for being such "hyper-power bullies"... as they all breathed a secret sigh of relief ...because we did their dirty work for them, once again.)

Bush, Sr. was merely battling a petty dictator, so there was little military excuse for him to reach beyond Iraq and strike at other sources of Islamic terror.

Carter still had the Soviets to worry about, as he licked spittle and allowed our sovereign territory in the Tehran embassy be invaded, with no military response.

Plus, people in America were not as stunned and enraged by that simple embassy takeover- in a distant land- as they were by the mass-murder of 3,000 of our brothers and sisters, on our own soil, on 9/11.

Bush, Jr.'s failure of understanding (about the Jihadists), his lack of killer instinct (about the amount of force needed to destroy Terroristic Mohammadism), and his derelection of duty on this point (not smashing it while the national fury was at a white hot pitch) was -and is- tragic for our country and for the world.

We knew of this previously. B/L/ got permission from some high mucky mucks who assured him it was A#1OK with Allah if he nuked American cities. Since Allah does not speak, I wonder how they know what pleases him...Oh yes, the Quran and all those calls to kill people, I forgot, those are in real time, but only those who can rythmically chant verses in Arabic can hear Allah...and what does he say? "Feed me I'm hungry". Hungry for what, why bread of course..."be he alive or be he dead, I will grind his bones to make my bread." He also says 'fee, fi, fo, fum, a lot, sort of like Allahu Akbar. So a little known fact, Allah is the baker of men. That should not surprise anyone since he always is looking for someone to put in the fire. Bin Laden got permission to nuke Americans because Allah is hungry, insatiable, the beast must be fed...I say we resist being nuked by discontinuing the enemy, let Allah go hungry, shrivel up, die, and blow away...it's the only decent thing to do...

Islamic terrorists everywhere, I’m sure, would wish to thank the CIA and the US military commanders in charge at the time for the tremendous fuck-up job they did in letting bin Laden escape the Tora Bora into safe hiding. This is surely regarded as proof of Allah’s divine will to continue the jihad. Naturally, the fuck-ups were given medals by the chief fuck-up.
