Lal Masjid Update. "Lal Masjid operation called off," from NDTV, with thanks to Jeffrey Imm:
Tuesday, May 22, 2007 (Islamabad) In Pakistan, Islamabad's streets continue to remain tense even though an armed operation by security forces against radical clerics at the city's Lal Masjid has been called off for now.On Monday, three more policemen were abducted and held hostage briefly at the Jamia Faridia, another madrassa for boys, about 8 km away from the Lal Masjid.
But they were released three hours later according to the authorities....
An angry President Musharraf reacted to the mosque's threats on Monday, challenging the mosque's calls for a jihad against the government, by saying only the government can call for a jihad.

It's time for the Americans to bomb them forward into the Stone Age.

The F16s were probably to use against India, just like all the dough that we have been giving him. We see what he has done for our cause. Only token captures of a freak here and there and that is only if we start rumbling, or start writing out the paycheck while asking 'what have you done lately to earn this"'.
Pakistan and Saudi Arabia - both a couple of countries that could fly off the face of earth and no one would miss them.

That comment from Musharraf is a sure sign that he's getting desperate. I reduce my earlier expectations (from 5 then 3 years) now to only 2 years. He will be dead or ousted to a foreign nation's protection within that time.

Musharraf is wrong again:
Hadith Sahih Bukari V9B89N258: The Prophet said, "A Muslim has to listen to and obey (the order of his ruler) whether he likes it or not, as long as his orders involve not one in disobedience (to Allah), but if an act of disobedience (to Allah) is imposed one should not listen to it or obey it.
Islam is the best justification machine yet devised. A person can find an excuse for just about anything they care to do.

Musharraf has lost PAK intel and now has lost control over the military. I feel for him immensely as he is now the caged bird with constrictors encircling his prison of safety.
The United States must form contingency plans to evacuate him and to install another pro western stronger man as the situation with the get out of Iraq policy now implemented will have America getting out of Pakistan too if Musharraf is assassinated. That can not be afforded as it will set off a nuclear exchange with the Israeli state, provide more nuclear weapons to terrorists and set off and exchange with India by radicals.
America must secure the atomic bombs, secure the presidency and secure the leadership or the Russian Chicom alliance will take full control over sub Asia and all Middle Eastern oil.

Musharraf is not long for this world. Playing both ends against the middle eventually catches up with you.
Islam has the greatest knack of twisting and perverting their religious tenet to meet any end.
In the end, with a monstrous nudge on our part, Islam will, in due course, destroy itself!
