Miss Kelly has sent me an email that she tells me was written by Karin Friedmann, aka Maria Hussain, and was sent out via the moderated Boston Muslim American Society/Islamic Society of Boston e-mail list, regarding the Boston mosque lawsuit:
Evidence: Frivolous Lawsuit was Aimed at Ethnic IntimidationBoston--May 22, 2007--New court evidence reveals that David Project directors and several attorneys were planning to stop construction of the Roxbury Mosque.
One attorney suggested, "How about simply appealing the building permit and tying things up?"
“Ultimately our interest is based on the premise that…people in the ISB are supporters of terrorism and sworn enemies of America and Jews,” said real estate developer Steve Cohen. The group decided to investigate potential parking violations and other legal technicalities.
On July 22, 2004 David Project director Anna Kolodner started panicking.
"The steel is going up on the Mosque," she wrote to the group. “We need to have a plaintiff. This is a priority. Please contact any individuals that would consider this role and let us know.”
Using the lawsuit, Kolodner demanded records from the Boston Redevelopment Authority to use for negative publicity.
Realizing that few Americans could care less where the Islamic Society of Boston obtained their mortgage, Cohen discussed creating suspicion by using vague language to question the mosque’s non-criminal foreign “connections.”
"However, the First Amendment will bar any governmental action against the mosque based on these connections - not in the absence of incitement that might lead to ‘imminent action.’ So all we are left with is a public relations campaign.”
This admission betrays a premeditated decision to incite hate by using “terrorist” as an ethnic slur to manipulate public sentiment, while their plaintiff sued the city for selling to Muslims.
“The suit itself will have to stick to the narrow constitutional issues, which have nothing to do with the terrorist connections,” Cohen continued. “However, the pr campaign surrounding the suit can strike a different chord: i.e. that the city of Boston should not be subsidizing a mosque or any organization with terrorist connections.”
“We will be much more effective if we let others ask this question than if we do so ourselves," Cohen strategized. On September 2, 2004, Anna Kolodner wrote, "Filing the lawsuit will serve to trip the switch on the larger agenda of exposing the radical fundamentalist underpinnings of the Mosque and its leaders…We need to develop a media campaign and identify who will be the public spokesperson for the group…We need an expert in power point to develop a presentation that can be used with the media, politicians, and community groups."
That power point expert would turn out to be the notorious Robert Spencer.
Wooo, scary. The notorious Spencer, no less. Wow. It looks pretty damaging, except it's completely false. I am not a Power Point expert. I don't use Power Point, and don't know how to construct a Power Point presentation. I have never supplied the David Project or anyone else involved with the lawsuits connected with the Boston mosque project with a Power Point presentation or anything else.

They make it sound like PowerPoint is some kind of doomsday weapon, a multimedia Love Potion #9, which will convince whoever views it of whatever it says.
Doesn't work that way. Especially not on Mac users.

Yes, in the sense that a ‘Power Point presentation’ can be equated with the old maxim: ‘The pen is mightier than the sword’ i.e. biblically speaking: 'the darkness always fears the light.'

The city of Boston , along with many other cities and towns, should do what many communities in the U.S. have done to protect themselves from illegal immigration -- pass laws regulatind illegal aliens in their jurisdictions.
They should start by declaring Islam a non-religious entity, not entitled to first amendment protection, and, therefore, subject to regulation as a private institution.
Let the Muslims take it to our activist Supreme court, where they will no doubt win.
But it would make an interesting debate both in and out of the courtroom.

Sounds like libel to me Robert. Personally, I despise the litigous nature of the society we live in, but perhaps a lawsuit might impede this scurrilous campaign from so many quarters that has developed against you.

? I had thought they were going to fight this monstrosity mosque by claiming it violated separation of church and state? The City of Boston was essentially giving away land for a private religious group to use for building their "place of worship". Besides, isn't it being funded by groups that support terrorism?

What Boston can do is simple as it has nothing to do with Constitutional issues as if you have ever watched This Old House, Boston is a complete little Stalingrad state where projects can not be initiated without endless studies of "how will this building affect historic Boston".
A mosque should have to go through the same hoops and fill the same requisits which plague the rest of American Bostonia.
It will cost them twice as much to build and so suffer them they will never build there again.
As for Robert Spencer's PPP, it certainly would make Mr. Spencer a few bucks to sell a nice anarak or heavy Wilson style t shirt at an affordable price with his picture on it...on top ROBERT SPENCER, at the bottom PPP with AMERICAN FREEDOM.
Kids in college would love it and he could be the new in thing people would be talking about.....the mysterious UFO, the mysterious missing 3 million Muslims CAIR says is in America and the mysterious Robert Spencer's PPP.......have you seen your version today.

Sounds like something you need to learn. Done properly, it's far more effective and penetrating than books. A very needed Sales tool.
Here's the challenge: Condense your entire message into one slide! (Note: Liberal usage of animations allowed.) Nothing against your books - except that these days, entertainment is an unfortunate, but necessary vehicle of education.
Some presentations you might be interested in.

Has the city of Boston ever given land to any other religious group?....probably not,, the other churches had to purchase the land for their facilities..

On a somewhat unrelated note, has anybody read the new book by Kevin Ryan - Queer Eye for the Radical Guy? I just heard him on Michael Medved, and he seems to be as comprehensive about connecting the dots between Islam and Islamic supremacy as most others here.

Mr. Spencer,
Sounds like you need a link at the JW/DW page top for:
"THE NOTORIOUS ROBERT SPENCER"
which would link to all of the fallacious, haplessly-mistaken jihadi-wannabes, slanderous, scurrilous, lunatic ("Freakin' Batman!"), and semi-literate reports and rumours spewed, sputtered, spouted slung about you.
"As long they spell your name right..."

"The notorious Spencer, no less. Wow. It looks pretty damaging, except it's completely false".
The whole of Muslim culture is so systemically deceptive. My closest friend (and I'm cautious in letting people get close to me because I understand human nature) is an Arab. My closest friend before him was a Mc who croaked from Diabetes after going into insulin shock.
We are blunt with each other (I make sure I keep everything he says to me in strict confidence; I notice he's cautious re what he says with other Muslims) has expressed a lot of frustration, and even anger re Muslim, particularly Arab-Muslim deception.
I once said to him I was brought up Irish Catholic, went to Catholic grade school, and though I have a lot of questions re what I was taught (a guy dies and is alive three days later?) that the teachings of Jesus re truthfulness ("All deception comes from the evil one") made a deep impression on me. He became nervous when I mentioned Jesus, so I did not press the issue. In any event, I think deception is in the DNA of Muslim culture. It will undo Islam.

Who puts together the visual element of Robert Spencer's Hot Air talks? That person would be able to show Spencer how to integrate Powerpoint into talks Spencer gives on the road. By bringing in dynamic visual accompaniment to a talk, Powerpoint lets the speaker create a more popularly accessible and higher impact message.
Powerpoint is a potent educational tool that is easy to set up and use and allows a speaker to go beyond the mere verbal engagement of an audience to reach them on several levels. The visual element turns a presentation into something approximating to an "experience."

Don't know how to construct a power point? _Come on_, it's not as though it isn't obvious within thirty seconds of starting the program. :-)

Fanusi Khiyal,
I am sure it's very easy, but what I have said here is absolutely true. I have never tried to construct a Power Point presentation, and do not know how. I am confident that it wouldn't be difficult to do if I did try one day to put one together, but that is a different matter.
Cordially

Personally, I'm very disappointed that I can't view the Power Point presentation, I'm a sucker for a good slide show.
This twisting of words and out and out lying seems to be a hallmark of the Islamic people. Am I wrong?
BTW, thank you all for this site. I link to stories here on a daily basis.
Amen,
