More signs of Iran's intentions, while the West continues to temporize and remonstrate, but not to act. From AP, with thanks to Catherine:
LONDON — Iran is attempting to draw up plans to strike targets in Europe and has conducted reconnaissance of European nuclear power stations, a security analyst told a meeting at Britain's parliament Tuesday.Claude Moniquet, president of the European Strategic Intelligence and Security Center, a private think-tank in Brussels, said his organization also had evidence Tehran has increased numbers of intelligence agents across Europe.
"We have serious signals that something is under preparation in Europe," Moniquet said. "Iranian intelligence is working extremely hard to prepare its people and to prepare actions."
The center, which he said deals directly with European intelligence agencies, believes Iranian operatives have carried out "reconnaissance of targets in European cities, including nuclear power stations," Moniquet said. He mentioned no other specific targets.

Man, he must really be impatient wanting to be the prophet of the mahdi...what better way to divert attention of his own economic disaster than to initiate nuclear involvement with the west, and in his own hope bring forth the 12th imam, all at the same time...
...boy, is he surely in for one helluva letdown.

What the hell is the West waiting for ? An engraved invitation to war ?

This idiot just wont stop pushing until someone finishes him right off. I knew guys in school that acted just like him. All it took was one straw too many and next thing you know...
What are we waiting on?
at May 24, 2007 6:55 AM
Well, it's like this...
He's wanting us tomake the first move. If we strike first, as he "predicts", then he and the entire power & control racket known as the mullahocracy will claim justification for their intended strikes worldwide.
If we don't, it simply buys him time to develop nukes...he's playing a form of chess.
If he ends up hitting first, though it will hurt him in the end as it wil make him the hypocrite he actually is, even in his compatriots eyes...the problem is, as we all can surmise, the cost of waiting.
He unzipped his fly on this (with his & his islamocommie allies propaganda spew we've all seen, and continued in the MSM as well as the kook fringe sites masquerading as press), we haven't bitten yet, now he's trying anything to push it.
His economy is a shambles, most of the country hates his guts, and it's only a matter of time before he collapses since he is #1 cause of events in iraq, and we know it (we're also onto him since we captured his buddies hard drive-equivalent to the Brits capture of the nazis enigma machine). He & his allies elsewhere are also livid at their political suckup allies got fired from their jobs, ending free passes for everything as they have for years...and they want revenge for such "treachery" as they consider it.
His involvement in iraq is obvious (90% of the terrorists there aren't even iraqi, and they're #1 contributor of weapons to iraq for those same terrorists-if it wasn't there, the problems wouldn't be petty compared to what their efforts have done)...if Bush wins, not only he loses, but the entire power & control racket of the entire mullahocracy, especially in iran, will begin to collapse as well. That will in turn cause one last desperate act of violence worldwide. It's not a state secret.
We also don't know what all wares they & their 5th columnists have brought into our countries (though we know they have), nor of how nasty they may be...but we have a pretty good idea, and it's not good. Couple that with the fact that the shanghai cooperation organization (mainly russia & china, of which iran is observer status-the REAL powers behind ALL this BS, especially since china has a lot invested in iran, especially future refineries for their own future war machine they intend to run us out of the Pacific by 2030 at the latest with, as stated in the CIA threat matrix of 2001) will not let it happen without a response...and their nukes are still pointed at the US & western interests.
It's a play for time...to see who blinks first.
We're not out of time just yet...but that time limit is fast approaching for both involved.
One thing for sure...if time runs out and he hasn't backed down, there WILL be a preemptive strike. If they hit first, all bets are off, and things will escalate quickly to a degree I doubt anyone's ready for.
Like it or hate it, there it is...SCO is reason #1 we haven't done anything yet.

The way to any semblance of victory in Iraq is clear:
Attack Iran's nuclear, military and Islamic infrastructure and then bully Syria out of Lebanon as a sheer consequence of our iron-fisted smack down of the Ahmadinejad and his cohorts.
I'll have much more to say on this topic on my site when the mood strikes. Perhaps before Memorial Day, but most likely next week.
This is not even a question in my mind any longer - Iran must be delivered the only message that will work in the Middle East, and that is absolute force.

Future generations will marvel at our stupidity and willingness to allow our own destruction to come to pass like this. I am ashamed that the West has not taken this threat to it's very existence seriously. Maybe we don't deserve freedom and all that good stuff? , cause we are letting bottom feeders encroach and threaten us everyday single day and we have yet to acknowledge it or defend ourselves.
WTF?

It's a badly kept secret that the U.S. has contingency plans to attack, well, anyone, even our allies, should the circumstances warrant action. Perhaps the E.U. should make it known that they indeed have plans drawn up to attack Iran's nuclear sites.
Of course, that would never happen, and if indeed Iran does attack the E.U., they will undoubtedly claim it is the fault of the U.S. and not even consider retaliation.

If we are proactive we get no help. When War comes NATO must be united. India would also be a great assistance.
Many of our enimies have strong internal oposition and pressures. Let these forces play out. The burden can't keep falling on the US Army.

Unfortunately, Arm, I'm beginning to believe you are correct. Guess we'll just have to wait for Hillary & Co. to fix all of this. But, wait, aren't they the ones who gave our nuke secrets to China while shrinking our armed forces? Yes, they will be the ideal folks to clear this up. Perhaps she'll make Bill Richardson the Secretary of Defense. Whee!

He also made a statement that Iran would attack Israel if Israel attacks Lebanon this summer. Why would Israel feel the need to attack Lebanon unless there is a plan for Hezbollah to attack Israel first? I think it's a great thing Ahmadeninutjob is saying they will attack the EU. Then maybe they won't be so much against us when we do attack Iran, as Cheney told King Abdullah a few weeks ago in Saudi Arabia that if Iran does not stop it's nuclear proliferation, Bush will attack before he leaves office.
There will be talk of wars and rumors of wars......

jcom is correct in his assessment in Iran wants the US to strike first, but does not go far enough to expose that Russia under Putin is pushing Iran for this strike on Iran.
The entire scenario is to blow up the Middle East oil supply with Russia the lone benefactor in blackmail as I was the first to write about months ago.
Iran has not been drawing up plans, but has drawn up vast reserves of plans, scenarios and counter effects for all of Europe. Europe has more problems than just Shahab conventional weapons, but real SS warheads Iran bought from the Russians ending up in Europe with Saddam's biological weapons which are now mounted on advanced Russian missile systems targetting Europe.
Want a war to terrify people so the cartels on top can seize power and people will willingly give up their rights, shut down borders, give up free trade for monopolies.....well stop watching the Muslim pawn as the rooks and queens are setting up scenarios of WMD warfare to brutalize entire cities for the control they seek.
This is what is coming and getting out of Iraq was one of the last phases they intended before the WMD starts.
.....gee wouldn't it be interesting if Iran and Saudi oil fields both blew up.....America was out of Iraq and Russia just happened to get control over that oil resource too to blackmail the world dry.
This is the large game and the best are playing it while the masses fiddle with the fodder of what they are told in the news.

Iran is the servant of the hydra Allah. Allah, who has created all of this mess, and has created every mess since the 'Pen of Desiny' started writing down future events. Predestination, they call it.
Fatalism. No matter what happens, wars, famines, astroids hitting Mecca, Allah is the cause.
Beasty Boy in Iran is playing dangerous games in the name of Allah/Satan. His days are numbered in Iran, as are the ruling Mullahs. The Pen wrote that also...
at May 24, 2007 1:55 PM
So what's the game plan with Iran?
Do we go in and kill the mullahs along with the nut job and his predecessors and then leave?
Will we hear that it's up to America (from one to whom much was given, much is expected) to help the Iranian economy recover from mullah mismanagement?
Don't those Iranians born since 1979 constitute two thirds (or more) of the population? All they know is theocracy and dicatatorhip! Most of their parents don't know much more, since they came of age at around the same time. Does this mean that Americans must stay and help them find the right path?
John Bolton, what do we do now?

SOMEBODY BETTER HURRY UP AND detonate an EMP weapon over Iran's airspace before the lunatic mullahs actually make good on this homicidal plot (they will too).
I recommend everybody call the White Houise Comment Line (202) 456-1111 and tell the good folks in the White House that the quickest way to defeat Iran's aspirations of genocidally deploying weapons of mass destruction and global conquest is to detonate an Electro Magnetic Pulse weapon over Iran's air space and short-circuit its electrical infrastructure (thereby crippling its capacity to launch missiles, etc).
The mullahs and al-Qaeda are loony enough to go through with this murderous scheme.
Beware.

Update MAD to Muslim Assured Destruction.
When the time comes. Launch systems and Infrastructure that supports them will be primary targets. Electrical generation, communication and Petrol refineries will go as well.
All the while shooting down the Iranian Air Force. SAM batteries, Sea skimming Anti Ship Cruse Missiles, Radar sites, The navy and tons of little Suicide Speed Boats and slow prop planes.
Iran won't have a lot of time to do what ever they plan or hope. They have no real capacity to bring the "West Down" before they themselves are rubble.
We will not target the Oil Industry as a whole. Just enough to Immobilise the Country.
There would be incredible pressure on any President to not respond with the Nuclear option even if hit ourselves.
As a generally Christian Nation I suspect we will turn our other Cheek. As Jesus asked us to do.
After that I suspect. Glass Making will be in Vogue.
The long term interest of the US is not to render the OIL assets unusable.
We could all get lucky and have the Iranians have an accident with what ever they may have. Home Grown Mushrooms. It must be easier than growing Tomatoes.

As I said before above...china plans to intervene if we do (reason #1 for their frantic upgrading, while their islamist lackeys keep us pinned down).

"Beware of China" (Admiral Thomas Moorer, just before he died)
at May 24, 2007 10:13 PM
I dont think China is ready to take on the US full bore. But they are getting there. Since they are not ready, how do think they would intervene. In theory anyway, the US could melt China better, and faster, than China can melt the US.
Of course if Russia jouins in it could be a different picture. Somehow I dont think these countrys will melt each other. If they did that, they would have little use for the oil they are fighting over...
at May 24, 2007 10:23 PM
Iran must think it has to knock down a building to get our attention. Of course, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia tried that, it still didn't work. Probably will take hitting a nuclear plant or using a nuke.
But that's no reason not to take Iranians as refugees in the Bush State Dept asylum program.
There was a PBS show about the search for Shangri-La. Funny about utopias in the movies, they don't seem to encourage immigration.

True, they not ready full bore...but their plans (see threat matrix 2001 presented to Bush upon entry to the oval office) are to keep us tied down until they ARE ready, full bore...by "2030 at the lastest" (accoding to same threat matrix).
Ya see, Russia is selling arms as they lack money, so they're the weapons end.
China has the money, but not enough weapons.
Together, and they are (see the SCO), it makes for a problem for the west.
The USSR tried it the hard way (see K-129 incident) and it blew up in their faces (129 under orders from non-naval folks were to fire a nuke, dressed in chinese sub markings hoping we'd blame china, the order came from then-future-leader yuri andropov. They then later considered a nuke strike of their own on china, corroborated by defector shevchenko...hence nixons move to reopen relations with china-brilliant move at the time. Communism has not died...it merely repackaged itself, but that's another story).
The SCO will only saddle their lackeys when they push too hard, risking blowing the SCOs cover, that's the only reason why they say anything to iran & their ilk...especially since china laid out so much loot promoting their propaganda games in 2008-they're not gonna risk that unless they've nothing left to lose.
THE roadmap that lays it ALL out is in the book, Unrestricted Warfare, written by chinas own senior intel officers in the '90s...it's ALL there in plain english...who, what, when, where, how, why, etc...
Admiral Moorer knkew this, and tried to warn us before he died (the man was a genius).
One major advantage...the CIA, despite the rogues within instigating coups against a sitting President (it's also #1 why tenet got fired), are right about one thing...this centurys biggest war issue won't be over oil-it'll be over WATER. THAT is the islamocommie achilles heel, and they are fast running out.

From all the posts, not one word about the idea of looking for more use, and turning to nuclear power as a answer. For the reason of safety alone, we should look away from nuclear power, regardless of any plus it MAY hold.
Nuclear makes a powerful weapon, and a disaster to any nation if a civil site is taken over, or made to go nova.
Islam sees it, so must we.

jackson browne went out of favor long ago.
I mentioned it elsewhere on the site before-it's being extensively implemented. It's come a LONG way since 30 years ago, and is far more efficient, with a LOT better technology.
There's no real choice, unless ya want to end up back in thatched huts again. No thanks. So far, over 100 licenses have been granted in the US to build them...and we don't put them in giant metal sheds like the soviets did. They're gonna be built.
at May 25, 2007 4:11 AM
jcom972 ;
My concern stands, as this forum post is about plans of islamic attacks on nuclear sites, not about how god himself can't sink this ship.
Jackson Browne??
Nuclear sites will continue as prime targets of attack. (Illegal aliens can also get licenced), and only through government subsidies can it all be made to work, be cost effective. The U.N. has it's hands all over it. Lets not get into breeder reactors, as it MUST to extend those 100 licences into a viable future. We are running out of nuclear fuel.
Finally, how can we say it's O.K. for us, then cry foul when the M.E. goes for this clean, "cheap", future source of power?
Or should they have a licence before we give the O.K. to them as well?
