It's good to see US Airways not caving in to this naked attempt at intimidation and outlawing of lawful and necessary security procedures.
By Audrey Hudson in the Washington Times, with thanks to Morgaan Sinclair:
US Airways is asking a court to dismiss a lawsuit filed by a group of Muslim imams, saying the airline followed government guidelines when it removed the men from a flight because of suspicious behavior. The response to the lawsuit, filed March 12 in the U.S. District Court for the District of Minnesota, says the airline "is required to adhere to the main points of the Transportation Security Administration's (TSA) Common Strategy regarding security threats in the aviation context."
The strategy advises flight crew members to be "alert for odd or suspicious behavior during all interactions with passengers in the gate area, during the boarding process and during routine flight duties and passenger interactions," the response to the lawsuit states.
"Flight crewmembers are required to mentally assess each passenger's behavior and the potential for threat. Moreover, the common strategy notes that this is a subjective analysis, and recognizes that there is no key factor that applies in every situation," it states.
"Notably, the common strategy advises flight crews to "Presume the worst," and "Be suspicious about any passenger disturbance," the response states....

"It's good to see US Airways not caving in to this naked attempt at intimidation and outlawing of lawful and necessary security procedures".-Robert
My hunch is that there were Sky Marshals on that flight, and that there are audio and video that confirm the provocative behavior of the "clerics". I think that if people ever see the video-audio they will become disgusted at Muslim deception, sick at heart at the lies. It will be very sad for them and for us to see what they are really about. They are about deception. Bet on it. Deception will undo Islam. Deception does not come from God. God does not lie. I firmly know that.

"Presume the worst,"
A good idea when dealing with any Muslim.

Muslims: there is a saying "Look into your heart and write". I think that is true for all real communication. Look into your heat and speak and write from there. Then there will be no deception. People might not like that-but screw em if they don't like it. Too bad. But at least we will all know where we stand. The deception in Islam ("War is deception") sucks. If you don't like what I have to say re Islamic deception, too bad-LOL.

After hearing more details about this case, I was really disgusted that there still are so many people who can't see the contrived and provocative nature of this stunt. They must be part of the mainstream idiocy.

Part of me would like this to go to trail, and let it uncover the real raw meat of the koran, let the people understand islamic deception. Let people see what these immans did to get themselves kicked off the plane, and it will take its toll on other would be scam muslim artists.

Fasten your seatbelts, imams, you're in for a bumpy ride.
Next stop, no more Dhimmitude, USA.

If they want to stay in business they better fight it. It appears the tactic of muslims using "Islamophobia" has one last barrier to defeat....the average American consumer.
Yep. Who the hell wants to stay on a plane with some Imam getting up and running around shouting Allah Akbar, getting extra seat belts, and general acting like fools?
Non-muslims may be PC but the Darwinian self preservation instinct is still alive and well.

Where's the Republican presidential candidate demanding that the Flying Imams be charged with the federal felony crime of threatenting terrorism around airports and in planes?
Are Moslems, especially Moslem clerics, above this fine federal law?
I would think that at least Tancredo would make that complaint. Maybe Tom's afraid of his grandchildren being beheaded.

They not only should throw this out, but they should fine those muslims for filing a frivolous lawsuit.
What stupid lawyer told them this suit woud fly?
at May 30, 2007 9:16 PM
I will tell you right now, if I ever see anyone behaving like that on board I am confronting them. They don’t like that so watch your back, keep your head on a swivel. But they are so used to only having women or weaklings to push around they turn yellow when confronted by other real men. They are scared of us, they think deep down that we are somehow supermen, that’s no joke. So don’t let them intimidate you, you intimidate them! If anyone is afraid of anything they might do, get out, stop trying to hang with the big boys, this aint no Cub Scout jamboree and its gunna get ugly before it is over.

Just a small point 'tgusa' and I expect you didn't mean to be offensive but it's not only MEN who stand up to these creatures.
In my years in the middle east I had to stand up to them on a daily basis and will continue to do so and I am a woman.
Many women realise that we will be among the first to suffer if sharia and muslim ideology is allowed free rein in our societies.
We have to keep telling the world and letting them see the deception, inhumanity, cruelty and just plain evil of islam and we have to face down the idiots and apathetics in our own society too.

If muslims were to have the technology for airplanes, airlines; would myself and sister be aloud to prance around in western clothing, praising Jesus Christ on their airline? I think not, correct me if I'm wrong. If any forthright muslim can answer this questian, I would be interested in what you have to say.

Coupled with the latest news from Boston, if US Air is granted its motion to dismiss, we may be seeing the beginning of the end for Islamists using the court system to further their agenda. This would be a great news, although dropped or dismissed actions do nothing for precedence.
Swami, Omar Mohammedi, a Bloomberg pal, is the lawyer who is representing the Immans. And Zagi, I'm sure you were being sarcastic?
at May 31, 2007 9:16 AM
This was not doubt a deliberate and provocative act to test the water through the legal system and in the subtle social conditioning in their adoptive homeland.
There are silly cases like this all over the west.
Let Zagi’s comment stay. He only proves Marilyn’s and Mustang65 point.

Former Mass Governor Mitt Romney was blasted by the MSM 2 years ago (Long before a presidential bid) for suggesting that Mosques be wiretapped.
He had the guts to make a statement before he was seeking the highest office, I believe he will continue if he is elected.

That’s great marylin,
Being a man and having spent my life working and recreating with other men, I speak for the men that I know and have known. My personal objective is to fire up other men, that’s one thing I have had success with over the years but if I fire up some women in the process that’s great. What I write, if you agree then consider yourself part of the group I describe be it men, women whatever. In many of my posts I use the word people instead of any particular sex in my description. In that particular post I used men, well do I have to include everyone every time? I’m not politically correct and neither are my posts so just because I don’t mention women once in a while don’t take it personally. I have been an advocate for strong women from the start, I have even been called a feminist by islamists here[.?.]. I cant please everyone all the time so I just do the best that I can. I will take your point and consider it in the future but no matter how I write it I see this battle as one between the islamists and everyone else, men, women, children, Christians, Jews, Hindus, Wiccans and on and on, all freedom loving anti islamists of the world.
