MPAC's Lekovic caught out yet again

When MPAC's Edina Lekovic and I were on the O'Reilly Factor last fall, the segment ended with her making several false and outrageous claims about me, but perhaps because I didn't get a chance to respond to them on the air and the falsehoods stood for the viewing audience, she didn't feel any need to respond to my repeated requests for a retraction. But when Steve Emerson caught her out a few days ago on CNBC's Kudlow, exposing her as the editor of a Muslim student paper in the 1990s that praised Osama bin Laden as a great mujahid, she responded swiftly in a letter to Emerson filled with the insults, slurs, distortions, and victim-playing that will be familiar to longtime readers of this site as often coming from Islamic spokesmen. From the Counterterrorism Blog, with thanks to LGF:

Mr. Emerson's witch hunt this time centered around a July 1999 issue of Al-Talib magazine, to which he referred in the interview and later on his website. And this time, his witch hunting stumbled on a printing mistake which I had no part in, but which he has exploited to serve his agenda. For reasons unknown to me, given that I had already graduated at that time, my name is listed in the staff box as a managing editor of that issue. I had graduated and had no participation in campus life by that time. I had no role in the publication of that issue of the magazine and I had no part in the writing of the article to which he refers.

I am shocked and saddened that my name has been falsely attached by Mr. Emerson to sentiments that I in no way support, and that are antithetical to the work I do day in and day out in the service of my community and my country.

My time as a student journalist at UCLA was indeed memorable to me, but has been misrepresented and distorted by Mr. Emerson. I was the editor in chief of the Daily Bruin, which won several prominent journalism awards for news reporting and overall excellence under my leadership. I wonder how in his relentless digging expedition Mr. Emerson neglected to note my award-winning work.

Check the facts -- I wasn't a student when this issue was published. I had no role in its publication, and I abhor the sentiments expressed in the article to which Mr. Emerson refers. Mr. Emerson's style of shock, smear and distortion have proven once again that the value and validity of the information he claims to offer to the American public is little more National Enquirer-style reporting.

But, as is the case so often with superficially fact-based presentations made by Islamic apologists, this one turned out to be completely inaccurate. Emerson blows her away with the facts:

So let’s examine Ms. Lekovic’s role with al-Talib. From October 1997 to May 2002, in addition to the July 1999 “The Spirit of Jihad” issue, there are at least 11 other issues of the newspaper which list Ms. Lekovic as either “managing editor,” “copy editor,” “assistant editor” “writer,” or give her “special thanks.” A curiously high amount for someone who initially claimed she never worked for the newspaper or now says she only “briefly worked” for it.

[...]

As you can see, well after Ms. Lekovic graduated in 1999, and well after the article she claims to “abhor” was published in July of that same year, Lekovic was still contributing to al-Talib.

And while Ms. Lekovic is suddenly and curiously coy about her stint at al-Talib, such was not always the case. Just a few short months after 9/11, a December 2001 MPAC event program (See Page 6), titled, "The Rising Voice of Moderate Muslims,” included a bio for Ms. Lekovic, which proudly stated, “While at UCLA, Ms. Lekovic also was the managing editor of Al-Talib (The Student), a nationwide Muslim student publication.”

If Ms. Lekovic was embarrassed by her association with al-Talib – which had referred to Osama bin Laden as a “great Mujahid” and “freedom fighter” almost a year after he ordered the bombing of two U.S. embassies in Africa resulting in more than 200 deaths and over 5,000 injuries while her name was on the masthead as a “managing editor” - it certainly was not evidenced in MPAC’s December 2001 event program, ironically for an event supposedly dealing with “Moderate Muslims.” Clearly, in certain venues, including MPAC-sponsored conferences, being the “managing editor” of al-Talib is considered a source of pride. Why else include it in her bio?

Read it all.

Her origins seem Bosnian or Albanian. Which makes me wonder - is she a Wahabi or a Sufi?

Shuck and Jive Jihadi Style

She's a coward like all the other Jihadis. Once caught they obfuscate and prevaricate.

Oops, forgot, their religion tells them it's okay to lie to the kafur.

The next thing running rampant in Islam besides killing is lying. Jihadists kill and lie, the rest just plain lie.

Nailed again.

Her origin must be Bosnian, definitely not Albanian, since her name can be easily identified as Bosnian (mostly Slavic / Serbian family names, Lekovic is such a case, since this is what those people were bevor they converted - under Ottoman Turks - and started slaughtering their brothers. Her first name "Edina" is typical Moslem female name in Bosnia. Albanians have a different ethnic background, ie. non-Slavic, their names are completely different).

Edina gives you a taste of evil that Serbs had to and still have to endure. Could you imagine how it is to have thousands "Edinas" around you (with or without a headscarf) and they are all supported by the West, especially USA, while your side is called "murderous assholes" (Hoolbroke), just because it refuses to be butchered. The USA policy towards Serbia (related to Kosovo and Bosnia) is still the same one that has been initiated by Clinton.

Milorad Dodik, the president of the Serbian entity of Bosnia (Republika Srpska), on his recent trip to USA, just few days ago, was put under terrible pressure to give up the Serbian entity , so that Bosnia becomes truly centrallized and fully Moslem. USA has allied itself with the most retrograde forces in Europe and the Balcans (Muslim Albanians and Muslim Bosnians) in order to appease Moslems worldwide (it is foolish and will not work, but...). The price for this appeasement should be paid by Serbs, American allies in two world wars, nation that risked a lot to save downed American pilots at the time when most of the other peoples of the region were eager to torture and kill them in such situation.

Tom Lantos (D-CA), Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee and Albanian lobbyist— said the following:

"Just a reminder to the predominantly Muslim-led government[s] in this world that here is yet another example that the United States leads the way for the creation of a predominantly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe. This should be noted by both responsible leaders of Islamic governments, such as Indonesia, and also for jihadists of all color and hue. The United States’ principles are universal, and in this instance, the United States stands foursquare for the creation of an overwhelmingly Muslim country in the very heart of Europe."

So it IS all about creating a predominanty MOSLEM countries in the HART of Europe, at the expence of the Serbian state and nation, in order to pacify some Arab assholes. (After for years USA tried to brainwash everybody how secular and European and peaceful Bosnian Muslims and Muslim Albanians are).

I urge all USA Jihad Watchers to help change the current USA policy towards Balcans. All the Serbs want is that the same principle applies to all. They don´t claim special rights, even though they had a reason for this, since they do have indeed a long state history, and remarkable cultural achievements, that cannot be claimed by Bosnian Muslims or Albanians.

In case of Kosovo, this antient Serb land that never belonged to Albania, Serbs are being told that it should be taken out from Serbia (i.e . internationally recognized borders will be changed in favour of creating Great Albania) because the ethnic majority there has changed, ie is Albanian overwhelmingly meanwhile. However, in case Republika Srbska, Serbian entity of Bosnia, populated by Serbs, Serbs are told that they have no right to determine whether they want to stay in this Muslim state or to join their unit with Serbia , inspite of being the overwhelming ethnic majority in Republika Srpska.

What kind of policy is this? There is no any consistency in it! It is cynical and demonstrates disregard of any human rights, because it divides the world into nations (one should actually speak of "nations" since "Bosnians" and "Kosovars" are as much of a nation as "Palestinians" are , - those are merely branded names) that have rights and those that apriori have none (Serbs). With this sort of foreign policy USA can be only feared or abused but not really respected or loved by anyone who cares about principles.

Serbian girl-

When I was 17 and living in Queens, was going down 182 Pl (reading the Daily News sports pages as I slowlky walked)and just as I got to 90th Ave I got a flash in my mind of a car hitting a kid on a black English racer bike on the corner of 183rd Street. I thought it would occur in about 10 minutes (6:00 PM). I walked int the backyard of my grandmother's house (at 182-36 90th Ave) and told my brother to stay away from that corner (I told him why). To make a long story short: at exactly 6 PM a kid a black English racer was hit by a car on that corner. Anytime I get strong vibes(rarely) I pay attention to my 6th sense (I think we all have it).

I get really bad vibes from this Edina Lekovic. I keep getting this strong sense of Nazi connections somewhere with her. She carries bad genes. Something is wrong with her. She's not Kosher.

Posted by: Frank [TypeKey Profile Page] at June 1, 2007 7:43 AM

Frank,

she is not carrying bad genes. Converts are in most cases pschychological wracks. Conver communities - and this is what Bosnian Moslems are, are deeply disfynctional (Most Bosnian Moslems have Serbian ethnic background, every single Muslim family in Bosnia knows when they converted, in many cases this was not that long ago, rather 200 - 250 years ago, or even later) . Your bed vibes come becaue you feel this disfynctionality.

Bosnian Moslems have supported German Nazis in the Second World War. They have build SS division (Handzar). The same applies to Albanians. This was coordinated by Mufti of Jerusalem, - Jaser Arafat is his distant relative. They all had huge love for Hitler and vice versa.

Again, it is definitely not about genes, but about ideology (unless one argues that those who converted were of somehow poorer human quality , but I personally would not go this far. Many have converted in order to survive and not everybody was prepared to sacrifice everything for liberty and the Christian faith).

I think that in the West you still cannot comprehend fully how black and evil the ideology of Islam is and what monsters it creates. Any attempt to make any sort of compromise with Moslem by feeding them with morsels of Christianity (Serbian lands) or Israel in the Middle East (this tendency to sacrifice Israel is very vivid across Europe) will fail. Moslems will always take it as a sign of weakness and will want more.

They will either get what they want or be completely defeated. Our problem (I mean in general, across Judeo-Christian world, including also Serbia and even Israel) is that we cannot afford to fight this much. We also don´t have so many children that we can simply sacrifice.

Posted by: Serbian girl [TypeKey Profile Page] at June 1, 2007 8:23 AM

getting back to the above issue. If someone is able to let me know a bit about Edinas parents and where in Bosnia they came from, I can do a quick check and find out whether her family was actively Nazi in the Second World War(I wouldn´t be surprised).

Regards to all,

Posted by: Serbian girl [TypeKey Profile Page] at June 1, 2007 8:32 AM

my quick search generated this info: Lekovic is a Moslem from Montenegro . But this is the same region and the same story like Bosnia. Serbian converts to Islam kept in most cases their family names, so they are not different than other Serbian names of the regions. They only adopted those "beautiful" Arabic or Turkish first names (Edina, Selma, Selim, Mohamed, Hasan etc. ). I also have read about Moslems with this name from Kosovska Mitrovica (Kosovo, Serbia). So possibly Edina is partially Albanian (possibly she has an Albanian mother?). Serbs would say "from evil father and even worse mother". So if anyone can give me more info about this girl, I will do the research and trace down what her family did in the Second World War.

Apart from this evil that dictates her mind and her hart, she is one of us. Her face and her features, are kind of you see in Serbian lands on every corner.

And this way she is a living proof of evil of Islam. Our own blood and body turned against us, slaughtering us. The worst legacy that Turks left. The worst imaginable thing.

This is what dhimmitude is about. This is what the so called "blood tax" was about (taking the most beautiful children away from their Christian Serbian parents and making janitschari of them, - a bloodthrusty army that fanatically hated everything Serbian and Christian). I wonder how many of you Jihad Watchers have heard of this?

Jannissaries? Yep, quite familiar with those.

Serbian girl-

I think you and El Frank have the same presentiment. Something is very wrong with her. I can feel it every time I look at her on TV. ( BTW, I think eventually, policies will change, Serbian girl. Hang on.)

(It's not like Robert, who has Oriana looking after him.-LOL This lady Edina is bad news.)
