Aggressive misunderstanders: "There have been no terrorist attacks by the alleged militants in Sandzak, authorities said, but they allegedly assaulted moderate Muslims in the area, disrupted their prayers and accused them of failing to practice 'true' Islam."
"3 alleged Islamic extremists arrested in southern Serbia," from The Associated Press, with thanks to Twostellas:
BELGRADE, Serbia: Police arrested three suspected Islamic extremists on Thursday in a continuing crackdown in a southern region with a sizable Muslim community. The three men — identified as Aladin Pulic, 22, Erhan Smailovic, 32 and Husein Culjak, 29 — were apprehended in the southern city of Novi Pazar, 175 kilometers (110 miles) south of Belgrade, police said. Six others were detained in the city in March, allegedly in possession illegal weapons and accused of plotting terror attacks, police said.
All are believed to be followers of the extreme Wahhabi branch of Sunni Islam.
The six arrested in March used a mountain cave as a terrorist training ground, packed with plastic explosives, masks and machine guns, police said. Authorities said they believed they were planning attacks in Serbia or elsewhere, in cooperation with other Islamic terrorist groups.
An alleged leader of the local Wahhabis was killed in April while resisting arrest.
According to some Western intelligence reports, the southern region of Sandzak, and Muslim-dominated regions in neighboring Bosnia, could be a recruitment spot for the so-called "white al-Qaida" — Muslims with Western features who could easily blend into European or U.S. cities and execute terrorist attacks.
There have been no terrorist attacks by the alleged militants in Sandzak, authorities said, but they allegedly assaulted moderate Muslims in the area, disrupted their prayers and accused them of failing to practice "true" Islam.

Is Kosovo already completely lost, and this is the new battleground? Sandzak sounds like to Serbia what Jammu and Ladakh is to India.
Wahabis, Sufis, yeah, that's such a huuuugggggge difference

It's true that they have misunderstood Islam. Islam doesn't promote terror. The problem with Islam is that it causes totalitarian misunderstandings of Islam. How could this happen?
Though it's blasphemy, some whisper that Muhammad was made in the image of Allah, and since Muhammad was illiterate, perhaps Allah too is illiterate. If so, then Allah might not have accurately read out to Gabriel the uncreated Quran existing in the heavens, and Gabriel might thus have mis-spoken it to Muhammad. Probably we cannot blame the angel Gabriel (unless it turns out that Gabriel is a fallen angel) because as an angel, Gabriel is presumably only the finger or face of Allah.
And we can't blame Muhammad, because recent Muslim reactions to criticisms of Muhammad would make that very risky. So perhaps we must assume Allah mis-read the Quran. We can't say Allah mis-created it, because in Islam the Quran is uncreated, just like Allah. Indeed, the Quran is indistinguishable from Allah. Scholars will tell you that while Christians speak of the Incarnation, in Islam there is an Inlibration, God as a book.
So Allah did not create the uncreated Quran, but merely mis-spoke it, mis-spoke himself, and thus it would seem that Allah has flawed self-knowledge, or at any rate some kind of stutter. Hence all the misunderstanders of the Quran today.
Unless, of course, Allah is not God...and the Quran is not uncreated...and...but one cannot think of such things! Now I will have to kill myself as an apostate, then perhaps Allah will accept me as a martyr, a jihadi. But at Judgement will Allah reward the jihadi martyr in me? Or will he punish the apostate in me?
If he rewards me for having killed myself as an apostate, wouldn't that confirm that I truly was an apostate, and thus shouldn't be rewarded, but rather punished? But if I truly was an apostate, wouldn't that confirm that in killing myself I was really a jihadi doing Allah's work and should be rewarded as a martyr? But then I wasn't really an apostate, but a good Muslim, and should be punished for having killed a good Muslim, myself -- Allah might yell at me that at least I should have taken a whole bunch of so-called innocent people with me...oh, I'm so confused...can anybody loan me a jacket with lots of good pockets, some C-4, and show me the way to a crowd of innocent civilians?

...HA!...it appears that to practice "True Islam" , one must go out and immediately become a suicide bomber...(mayber to become a "true" believer or to kill yourself just to get away from the "true" believers)...
....it appears the "true believers" are certainly killing a lot of moderate Muslims these days...
I certainly would not want to be a Muslim...

The US better wake up fast when it comes to Kosovo, if Bush doesn't wake from his slumber the Democrats will ram this through on the world.
Keep one thing in mind once you make precedent, things just happen that mirror the event. Who's to say 15-20 years down the road Israel isn't violently partitioned to appease the beast.

Bloody Turks! It is they who forcibly (or through insupportable pressure and financial hardship cum humiliation) converted perfectly good Serbs of the Christian persuasion to accept the preposterous irrational ideology called Islam.
Now, we have Slavs--not Turks or Arabs or Turkomen or whatever else exists in Central Asia--that are Moslem. Ditto for the descendants of the Illyrians and Macedonians now Moslem.
Whenever any non-Arabic population is freed from the yoke of Islam, the population should be cleansed of Islamic thought, practices, and re-educated to once again become decent human beings, with whom it is fit to live.
As for Arabic populations--not much hope there. Although Iraq was not liberated from Islam--in fact our idiot-in-chief encouraged the ideology and urged the population to practice it, as he sees it as a thing of peace and compassion--the population appears wedded to and infused with Islam. Too costly an effort to re-educate as was done with the Japanese.

From my understanding Mohammed wrote exherbs next to Bible quotes in the Bible and his writings turned into the queran! This is how he has them captive, the greedy soleless narcist! To disceive people into thinking that the time of Abraham had to do with him! To KILL! When it meant no more killing. God needed the perfect sacrifice. The ultimate sacrifice! It was the new beginning of a New Humanity for man, the 2nd Humanity! If I remember correctly even Isaac was told it was to be Jesus!
White al-gaeda!..,ha..don't let Sharpen read that, yaa.., do! this will be interesting!

Hey folks, good news is Nicolas Sarkozy has proposed a six months wait upon making any rash decision on Kosovo. Those 'pro Western, secular, peaceful' Kosovar Albanians have
already 'warned' France that aims & desires of
Albanians must not be thwarted or 'betrayed' by West.[Bet Prez Sarkozy is shakin' in his shoes!]
Certainly chose wrong man to tangle with as Sarkozy is no Dhimmi nor in pay of Albanian Mafia
like Holbrooke & Lantos.
Longer U.S or rather Idiot In Chief George W is restrained from giving Serb land to KLA gangsters
Kosovo may yet be SAVED.
at June 9, 2007 1:11 AM
Actually look more carefully before championing Sarkozy, his intent is to have a 6 month delay and if no negotiated peace is created implement Ahtissari's plan which means that the Kosovar Albanians just have to wait it out 6 months solves nothing really just tries to make fools of those opposed to the Ahtissari plan.

That's right. Sarkozy's proposal is just another attempt to rephrase the same stupid idea. Albanians will never negotiate unless clearly told - no independence. It seems only Mr. Putin will not let that happen.
Meanwhile, media genocide against Serbs continues. With perfect timing they invented new "mass grave in southern Serbia". And after three days of digging under supervision of almost everyone - nothing found. No mass grave, but - "Serbs from Raska and Raska regional parliament have announced through their representative in the Serbian Assembly today they intend to sue representatives of Kosovo Albanian separatists, UNMIK, the International Red Cross Committee and the media outlets that have served to exert the undue pressure on the officials, for the moral and material damages, brought about by the toxic mix of Serbophobia, slander and baseless hearsay."
No more muslim lies!

Morgane
Sarkozy's plan is no good at all, he wants to delay the decision 6 months, but then the plan will not be before the UN security council, where Russia has veto. Fortunately Russia rejected his offer. In this case Sarkozy (along with Britain and Germany) is supporting the enemy in order to appease his own muslims. At least 6 EU countries are opposing independance for Kosovo: Greece, Cyprus, Slovakia, Romania, Bulgaria and Spain (the first good thing about Spanish foreign policy in a long time)
The one good thing about Sarkozy's foreign policy so far is that is the first leader of one of the big EU countries to publicly oppose Turkey in EU.

About Sandzak: Many of the muslims fought for the Islamists in the Bosnian war - in fact they were referred to as Sandzakis - they were deployed around the airport in Sarajevo under Izets command .
About the supposed mass graves found of Kosovo Albanians in Serbia: Oh , LazarofSerbia, the crap in the MSN about the bodies supposedly taken from Kosovo further into Serbia by refridgerator truck surely have to be THE classic pile of crap. The few bodies that were found had obviously been dug up after the Serbs had left Kosovo - a prosecution witness acccidentally admitted this- and transferred into Serbia. Many of the bodies had already been declared dead by the Serb authorities which kicks the Dhimmi allegation that they were reburied to hide Serb war crimes in Kosovo .
This first appeared immediately after Slobo was illegally thrown out of office by the Dhimmis of the West and their cronies . The pile of crap was needed to pursuade the Serbs that Slobo was indeed Evil personified and so should be shuttled off to the Hague for trial . The motley bunch of witnesses the prosecution dredged up from the abyss told a story - of trucks in the Danube full of Kosovo Albanians - so full of holes. It was smacked out of court by Slobo with ease .
Pure lies from start to finish
And so it goes, for poor Serbia.
Same with the Bosnian Serbs .
Question. Who is to blame for the Bosnian war? Well?
The Bosnian war was started by the Islamist gov't. Izetbegovich illegally stayed on in power - he'd agreed to hand over the presidency to the Serbs but reneged on the deal -
He then illegally called for a refurendum which was against the Constitution.
The acts formally declaring war were passed at the beginning of April, by Izetbegovich -in the absence of Serb members who were then Nikola Koljevic and Plavsic, and in the absence of one of the Muslim leaders, Fikret Abdic -when a decision was taken on mobilisation.
His party , the SDA , had 120,000 men under arms by 91 - according to Halilovic - a full year before civil war . It was named the Patriotic League , was founded on 31st of March, 1991 and to this day is celebrated by the Islamists -
Not since the days of Hitler has a party had an armed wing
In the Cutileiro plan , both the Serbs -Karadzic - and Croats - Boban - signed for an independent Bosnia divided - Swiss style - into powerful cantons
Izetbegovic refused to sign
After Izetbegovic took away his signiature , it was the Bosnian Serbs who urged for more talks to head off civil war - there were a series of letters sent by Karadzic to Cutileiro and Lord Carrington - Again it was Izetbegovich who chose war instead of talks for at the end of May 92 it was the Islamists of Sarajevo who upped and left the negotiating table
Also , the first victim of the Bosnian civil war was a Bosnian Serb who dared to raise the Serbian flag at a wedding in downtown Sarajevo . For that beastily crime he was gunned down by the Islamists .
It was the Serbs who were the first to be massacred: on 26th of March, 1992 a large
massacre of Serbs in the village of Sijekovac
Also on 4th of April 117 Serb refugees from Barice and Kostres were killed by armed Muslims, inhabitants of the village of Korace
And so goes the story of Bosnian Serb - and Serbian - desires for peace which were continually thwarted .
However, if you'd been tuning in to CNN , the BBC or such other drivel you'd be mistaken for thinking that the Serbs were a bunch of blood soaked primates whose only instinct was murder.
In fact , tune in to any Infidel vs Muslim slug fest and it's the beastily Infidels who get the crappy image
F*&K MSN

Sarkozy is a hypocrite. When it comes to France, it's "Love it or leave it" (his quote, uttered during the riots). When it comes to Serbia, he's appeasing the very same kind of "scum." (again, the word he himself used to describe the Paris rioters).
Serbia is in panic mode. Belgrade is treating these Wahhabis with a silk glove, lest the world media come down on the government a la 1990s.
Once bitten, twice shy...

Just read Izetbegovic's "Islamic Declaration" and everything is clear:
http://www.srpska-mreza.com/library/facts/alija.html
"... The first and foremost of such conclusions is surely the one on the incompatibility of Islam and non-Islamic systems. There can be no peace or coexistence between the "Islamic faith" and non- Islamic societies and political institutions. ... Islam clearly excludes the right and possibility of activity of any strange ideology on its own turf. Therefore, there is no question of any laicistic principles, and the state should be an expression and should support the moral concepts of the religion. ..."

Maybe I'm a cockeyed optimist but in these tortuous Endgames there is a lot going on behind the scenes. In other words-forget what they SAY-it's what they actually DO which counts.
In transcript of Bush's speech in Albania,he was careful NOT to commit himself to any plan B if
Finnish Dhimmi's plan A doesn't work.Bush was equally careful NOT to criticize Serbia in any way [even his slow brain realizes he is going to need Serbia]although Albanian interviewer tried
to get something his audience could interpret as
'special American ally status.'
Note that Bush wouldn't allow Albanian guards TO
CARRY GUNS-during his visit HE INSISTED ON BEING
PROTECTED BY 600 AMERICAN MARINES! So Bush must really trust his Albanian Ally,huh...
Lazar of Serbia
Delighted to hear Serbs are suing these mouthpieces of lies & slander-TRUTH WILL OUT despite millions of dollars spent by U.S & some
Western leaders in propaganda campaign to dismantle Yugoslavia.
Bow to yours & other Posters superior knowledge
but still affirm that the LONGER Kosovo remains
as part of Serbia there is HOPE.There are E.U countries who oppose so called 'United Front' on
Kosovo question-even the most cretinous must ask
WHY THEY ARE AFRAID OF THESE 'PRO AMERICAN,PEACEFUL & SECULAR KOSOVARS...

From Morgane:
"Maybe I'm a cockeyed optimist but in these tortuous Endgames there is a lot going on behind the scenes.
Got to agree with you there, Morgane. The backroom machinations both within the EU and between Russian and US , etc. will surely be the key.
" the LONGER Kosovo remains as part of Serbia there is HOPE.
Yep , ironically , the Serbs and the Russians don't need to do anything except talk about the rights of a country's borders and stand firm. That's the key. Standing firm
Now Pution's Russia's a completely new animal - sleek and confident as opposed to the Yeltsin's drunken and incompetent version
2006 was indeed a terrible year for the KLA and other Islamists in the Balkans. They had high hope that Bosnia - under Jeremy Ashdown - would have eliminated the Serb entity and that Kosovo would be automatically granted independence from the Evil Serbs.
But neither happened.
"HE INSISTED ON BEING PROTECTED BY 600 AMERICAN MARINES"
Yup , good on dubya and you can't really blame him. The Albanians had recently relected the same guy who'd invited the EIJ into Albanian -after assassinating Sadat noone else would touch them with a barge pole - and most of downtown Tirana has been redeveloped by Al Qaeda funds.
Sure his speech could have been better it could have been waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay worse.
So long as Russia and Serbia continually talk about the rights of countries and their borders, what, realistically can the yanks or whoever really do?
Unfortuanately , don't underestimate the Serbs ability to find leaders who shoot themselves in the foot.

Aside from standing firm, all that Serbia needs to do is mobilize their troops in Kosovo, or simply move them from Serbia into Kosovo. What's the US going to do - go to war? Heck, they can't even confront Iran right now, thanks to that nation-building project in Iraq, where are they going to spend time on Serbia?
Besides, with Volodaya Pootie-Poot's tough talk last week, including comparison of the US with the third Reich, it's unlikely that the US, with those tensions, would want to aggravate the Kremlin this time around.

Yes, Serbia still have to handle muslims in silk gloves.
Irony is that century old U.S. ally Serbia was fighting muslim foe a decade before the U.S., and has been bombed for that by U.S. Nowdays, when world is united in war against muslim terror, Serbia must play as softly as possible.
Muslims in Serbia are Serbs who "sold their religion for dinner" (as Serbs love to say) during Otoman times. They are despized by Christian Serbs as traitors of Christ and Kosovo legacy. Still, since Serbia was liberated from Turks, they had no problems whatsoever. And now, Saudis are investing in extremism there. I can imagine how frustrating is for Serbian officials to play this mirror game of irony and double standards...
I'm urging American and European friends who see the truth to do what ever they can to shift this outraging policy towards Serbia.
Serbs are FREEDOM LOVING NATION in true and absolute sence of the word. Their history is perpetual fight against anyone who want to put them into submision. They fought both West and East for their freedom and preservation their way of life. That must be respected. That is why I love and respect them so much.
