Sunni/Shi'ite love is breakin' out all over. However, the main focus here was on the real villain: the Great Satan, of course.
From Deutsche Presse Agentur:
Manama, Bahrain- Bahraini Shiites marched through the streets of the capital Manama Wednesday night in protest over the bombings at Iraq's Golden Mosque, directing their anger at the United States and an intolerant faction of Islam. In two separate marches held back-to-back, protestors shouted 'Death to America' and 'No to Terrorism.' One march passed by the British embassy compound.
"No to terrorism"? Oh good. They're moderates.

"...'No to Terrorism.' ...
....actually they meant 'no to terrorism to us'...
....maybe they are awakening to the absolute fact that Muslims do not like Muslims...and the undeniable fact that Islam is for losers....

huh?!! Muslims killing Muslims and they shout "Death to America"? Let's be logical:
1. Did the USA order the Sunni vs Shia jihad? No.
2. Is the Sunni vs Shia jihad a result of the Iraq invasion? No. They have been killing each other for centuries.
3. If the USA leaves Iraq, will the jihad stop? Hardly.
Seems to me that Mooselimbs need a bogeyman to vent their anger, or they'll implode. Perhspa if they directed their "righteous anger" towards the root problem of this internal jihad, meaningly, the Qur'an, things would be better.

it is past time to allow this civil war to be fought in full and allow whichever sect of this cult take control and then we can deal with the winner.
Over $600,000,000,000 that is over 600 Billion US Tax Payer Dollars wasted in Iraq...........
How many power plants would this have constructed????
What new energy system could have been developed????
The hurrican damage across the Gulf Coast would be no more.........
Our borders fenced, the illegals rounded up and sent home......
College education paid for all students.........
AND OUR GOVERNMENT WILL WASTE ANOTHER 400 BILLION TAX PAYER DOLLARS IN IRAQ BEFORE THIS FISCASCO IS OVER........
The Texican.

Gee, now do you think they will get an idea what it feels like to desecrate someone's shrine? I doubt it - silly me for even thinking they would think of others except to blame them for the problems that they cause themselves.
What I think they are trying to do is get us to construct it for them. We, as proper dhimmi, probably will since we have been doing it for other mosques around Iraq. When will 'we' wake up?!
What 'we' need to do is look at them and tell them to do something for themselves and build it instead of marching around like a bunch of knotheads and doing nothing while expecting others to do things for them. They are not special, but instead especially pathetic for wasting energy on some knotheaded protest. If they want to be respected then they need to show some respect. (a concept I am sure they won't get)

Where did the explosives come from? Could it be that a Shiite shrine was destroyed by Shiite terrorists?
Who guarded the shrine? I've heard it was Sunnis.
Is there no irony in the idea that Sunni terrorists (who are blamed for all attacks on the Shiites - at least after the US and Israel are blamed for not stopping them) are being aided and abetted by Iran? Aren't the two sects in dire opposition to one another? There was a certain logic to it when coalition forces were the target but Iraqis see nothing wrong with destroying their own? THEN LET THEM! Let the tribes fight it out and let the world stop pretending that they are one nation.
Is Iran really a theocracy or are its leaders merely using Islam and hoodwinking their entire populace, who weren't exactly religious under the Shah?
President Bush says that a hundred years from now this invasion will be seen as just, that he will be vindicated. History is written by the victors. Only if we win will he get his wish.
Looking at the state of the Muslim world today from Gaza to Beirut to Ramallah to Baghdad, it might be more likely that this will be seen as the beginning of the end of the cult of Islam. On the other hand, it could be the beginning of the end of Western civilization. It all depends on which side wins.

There is no logic in islam.
The logical thing for us to do, would be to get out of Iraq and let these barbarians kill each other off.

No to US terrorism, of course!
Muslims wouldn't do a thing like that!

Crusader - logic?! when applied to these guys?!
One thing that struck me with your note and when I thought about it is the lack of muslims in the data processing field. I have worked in this field in over 25 years and have seen only two in this field. And both of those have had problems and have moved on. One tried to get promoted, but who wants to promote someone who isn't doing their current job very well? And the other one tried to move into another job in the same field and they didn't like his attitude or his work habits so he ended up moving on too. Basically, both were less than average workers.
We have a great many Asians over all of Asia - the islands, India, Vietnam, China, South Korea and Japan and I do not know if any are muslim. All of the ones that I know are not. They don't talk about their religion, but I always have some book on some aspect of islam on my desk so they sometimes make comments on that.

Hey, if the US is stupid enough to continue their babysitting and jizya payments it's our own faults.....the next president will do the same thing....be it dhimmicrat or republican....until PC is abolished from our socieity this nonsense will continue.
We all get everything we deserve, the rich that make decisions screw us over.....west is disgusting and Islam is our punishment.

Sneakyzionistcrusader...thank you for sharing that.
I think you are right about PC, but I dont think we necessarily deserve to get sht on. Nor do I agree that the west is disgusting. You almost sound like a liberal, full of guilt, and projecting blame in every direction. The biggest mistake American's make is to continually elect elitists, who have 'agenda's'. At the moment, the whole bunch of them are in league with the devil...they are not representing the people who elected them except by phony lip service. So there I think you have a point. But voter's usually vote in good conscience, when that good conscience is violated by official's, it is not something the voter's 'deserve'.
They deserve better than that...

Looks like Hugh's advocacy of Shia-Sunni conflict spreading outside Iraq has materialized in Bahrein. Let's hope that the resultant Shia backlash produces the desired effect in Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Kuwait, Syria and Yemen.

Operation Minarets Fall should be our side's next special ops project.
Stir up the schism and stand back.

They are almost there. It wont be long before Bahraini Shiites are busy fighting their rulers -Bahraini Sunnis. Can't wait for that day.
