U.S. officials call the video "an aggressive and sophisticated propaganda campaign," but there is ample reason not to assume it is simply that, considering the "al-Qaeda pipeline" that is already known to exist between the Afghanistan-Pakistan border area and Europe. Even if these are empty threats, if this video gets authorities to take the threat more seriously, particularly with respect to immigration policy and monitoring of mosques such newcomers might attend and seek moral and material support, that would constitute significant progress.
"Exclusive: Suicide Bomb Teams Sent to U.S., Europe," by Brian Ross for ABC News' The Blotter:
Large teams of newly trained suicide bombers are being sent to the United States and Europe, according to evidence contained on a new videotape obtained by the Blotter on ABCNews.com.
Teams assigned to carry out attacks in the United States, Canada, Great Britain and Germany were introduced at an al Qaeda/Taliban training camp graduation ceremony held June 9.
A Pakistani journalist was invited to attend and take pictures as some 300 recruits, including boys as young as 12, were supposedly sent off on their suicide missions.
The tape shows Taliban military commander Mansoor Dadullah, whose brother was killed by the U.S. last month, introducing and congratulating each team as they stood.
"These Americans, Canadians, British and Germans come here to Afghanistan from faraway places," Dadullah says on the tape. "Why shouldn't we go after them?"
The leader of the team assigned to attack Great Britain spoke in English.
"So let me say something about why we are going, along with my team, for a suicide attack in Britain," he said. "Whether my colleagues, companions and Muslim brothers die today or tonight, every drop of our blood will invigorate the Muslim (unintelligible)."
U.S. intelligence officials described the event as another example of "an aggressive and sophisticated propaganda campaign."
Others take it very seriously.
"It doesn't take too many who are willing to actually do it and be able to slip through the net and get into the United States or England and cause a lot of damage," said ABC News consultant Richard Clarke, the former White House counterterrorism official.

Far too many of my fellow Canadians believe that this will never happen here or we are somehow immune and loved by all . well we now know what any educated person about Islam has always known ,that we are slated for the same treatment as all others who resist Islam, and like i say in vain to many of my friends , this is not just an American and British problem , it is a fight for western civilization itself. i wish it would never happen here but if it does i hope that it will be the catalyst to snap us out of our slumber and open our PC riddled eyes to the real Islam. a suicide bomb in a shopping mall is very close to being a reality. The Israelis deal with it all the time.

The pakis coming to Canada will find it a little more difficult getting bombing material as it will bring on more questions, as why they need all this fertilizer when living in some apartment in a city.
they cannot blend in well in the countryside where you go to the local co-op to pick up your fertlizer, as you usually give the store your farming tax exempt no. for farm use. otherwise if islamists think they will start bombing in the West, it will only hasten their departure from our lands.

If I were a recent graduate, I’d get a Visa to Venezuela, check in for a fake Venezuelan ID when I arrive (Jose Ramirez), and head up to Mexico City. From Mexico City, it’s a cheap bus ride to Reynosa, and then a short walk across the desert.
A quick call to the local Mosque gets you a ride to Houston. A stop at Johnny’s gets you a fake ID stating that you were in the Country prior to December 2006. Next stop is INS for a Z-Visa. And Mr. Ramirez is in business.

this is a problem that faces us today, i hope that Zena's opinion holds truer, while like Pez said, its easy to get into the country, but he supplies are going to be rough on collecting. But they have the back door being that mulsims are not held to one ethnic group and can use chechin/africanamerican converts to aquire the supplies they need. My postings here are new so i'll let you all know that i am firm believer that something large will happpen here before any drastic matters are taken, and unfortunatly every day of lax securitty only increases these odds. may they be cursed with terrible luck and us with incredible luck when it happens

This was close to my reaction when I read the article but I thought it might be too cruel to say it. I am almost to a point where I want something fantastic to happen so more people will open their "PC riddled eyes". Almost. I simply cannot wish for another's westerner's death at the hands of jihadists becuase our leaders are to too ignorant and too lazy to educate themselves about the sheer evilness of Islam. How many of you would be reading this if it were not for 9/11? A suicide bomber in a mall would be such an event.

Bush's responsibilty should be neither overstated nor understated.
Should an attack occur, anyone in office -- Bush or his successor, along with other lawmakers and officials -- will naturally be under pressure to demonstrate that they had done everything they could to prevent it. If obvious gaps are found (and there are more than a few), there will be public outcry against both the current crop of leaders, and their predecessors whose policies may have contributed to the creation of those gaps in security.
In other words, while there would be personal and politically-motivated criticism of the leaders in office at the time of the attack, they're not the whole story. My concern, then, would be their being used to deflect citizens' efforts to take their leaders and institutions to task for failing them.

He also could have pressured his buds in Saudi. He could have opened up drilling in anwr with a presidential decree a loooong time ago.

It's bush fault for tearing down boarder security; it's their fault for planning to do these things and carrying out the deed; it's islam's fault for having such an ugly and narfarious ideology.
The graduation ceremony looked rather odd to me from the pictures. Example, those in white seated on the ground dressed in white looked more like prisoners with gaurds armed with AK-47s standing every so many feet around the parimeter.
What's up with the rocket launchers pointing at the graduates who wave are waving white flags.
The whole thing looks wierd -- but the most disturbing part is the 12 year old murderers; will these be sent to schools to kill other kids?
I hope there really is a god; and I hope that got made a firey place called hell, because I think that anyone who teaches a child to do such things deserves to spend eternity in a place like hell.
Even Jesus said that people like that would be better off if a stone were wrapped about their necks and they be thrown to the sea -- Jesus was right!

Hardly. Based on numerous previous muslim terror attacks:
1. The local fbi field office and/or the local federal prosecutor's office will issue bolierplate statements developed jointly with their muslim front group associates: "Nothing to indicate [muslim] terrorism."
2. Local law enforcement will be immediately dispatched to local mosques, to protect the jihadis.
3. The local fbi/jttf will fire up their EOC to deal with "any" "threat."
4. The fbi will assert authority at the scene, sanitize it, and make all evidence disappear ala ismail ax.
5. Local law enforcement will increase their alert level and the number of men on the street.
6. Depending on the magnitude, the Traitor-in-Chief will issue a very short public "be calm" statement and warn that federal authorities are ready to deal with any "civil right violations."
"They" stopped working for "us" a long time ago. If you doubt this, go ahead and voice your displeasure in the streets in front of a mosque after the next muslim terror attack. You'll be spending the next 10-20 in club fed while the terrorist(s)' mosque enjoys a full house and fbi & local law enforcement protection 24x7.
Look at Israel. They endured this for years (intifada I, intifada II) before the government did anything. As long as the jihadis didn't kill too many civilians (double digits) and didn't do it on a significant religous holiday, it was kosher. Think of all the bus, pizzeria, and restaurant bombings. How many citizens attacked the local jihadis over the years? The Israeli government would have landed on them like a ton of bricks.
Look where they are today. We are not far behind.

Everyone, if you want to hit Iran, Syria, Sudan, North Korea and other evil states hard, check out disinvestterror.org. California, Florida, and Ohio, among other states, are passing laws to get their pension funds, which control huge amounts of money, to stop investing in the companies doing business in terrorist nations.
Www.disinvestterror.org has, among other things, a PDF file that shows where the 50 U.S. states are currently doing business with terror and dictatorship. Check it out, find out which of your state's funds are invested with which guilty companies, then call your senators and representatives (get their numbers here: Call Congress). Tell your reps at the national and state levels about www.disinvestterror.org, the companies, your state's pension funds involved, and that you want your state to divest those funds from the guilty companies until such time as those companies stop supporting the nations that are trying to kill us.
Iran could be shut down by this method taken far enough. Without these companies, Iran couldn't do much with its oil or produce gasoline for its vehicles. And don't let me hear the cynics saying how nothing will work. Every little bit makes a difference, mountains sometimes turn on pebbles, and a straw can sometimes break a camel's back.

When I was in DC way back in 2003, I was with a group that stood for Israel & America. We were not able to go into the Intel building as scheduled, as someone from intelligence told our group leader that a sleeper cell had just been discovered in the area. They are already here, big time. It is believed by some sources that at least one of the lost suitcase nukes are already here in the US. We are going to have a major attack again, count on it. But, this one will pull us together as a country, I believe.

Taking the lead from the Central Council of Ex-Muslims in Germany, we demand:
1. Universal rights and equal citizenship for all. We are opposed to cultural relativism and the tolerance of inhuman beliefs, discrimination and abuse in the name of respecting religion or culture.
2. Freedom to criticise religion. Prohibition of restrictions on unconditional freedom of criticism and expression using so-called religious 'sanctities'.
3. Freedom of religion and atheism.
4. Separation of religion from the state and legal and educational system.
5. Prohibition of religious customs, rules, ceremonies or activities that are incompatible with or infringe people's rights and freedoms.
6. Abolition of all restrictive and repressive cultural and religious customs which hinder and contradict woman's independence, free will and equality. Prohibition of segregation of sexes.
7. Prohibition of interference by any authority, family members or relatives, or official authorities in the private lives of women and men and their personal, emotional and sexual relationships and sexuality.
8. Protection of children from manipulation and abuse by religion and religious institutions.
9. Prohibition of any kind of financial, material or moral support by the state or state institutions to religion and religious activities and institutions.
10. Prohibition of all forms of religious intimidation and threats.

The footage at The Blotter did not seem to feature the Great Britain attack team leader speaking. Is there a separate link of that or did I miss it? It might be possible to work out where he comes from by his accent.
For example, Mohammed Siddique Khan (7/7) had a distinctive Yorkshire accent.

These graduates, along with our own fearless leaders, underestimate what our response will be. They've told themselves that Americans are weak, that we are degenerate, and that we don't care about anything but pleasure, sex and money, (although regarding sex, that's the pot calling the kettle black.) They don't understand that we have something in our blood that they can never eradicate . It may be sleeping now under a blanket of political correctness, but it exists and it smolders. What will be the catalyst that awakens it?
The freedom that we Americans enjoy was hard won, by men of intellect and vision. They were willing to sacrifice everything to get it and although it appears on the surface that many Americans have gotten fat and lazy enjoying the surplus of our good fortune (and our labors,) the blood of the original patriots runs deep within us.
The next time someone makes fun of a redneck they should be admonished, because those brothers of ours that hunt deer and clean their guns and talk with a twang are the ones who understand this better than anyone. They are prepared to defend the country and their neighbors (us) so a little respect is in order. They will be the ones leading the retaliatory attacks against a foe that didn't quite get the memo.
A poster above said we are quietly seething below the surface. You bet we are, and if Muslims want to test our resolve they had better be prepared for what the backlash will be. If CAIR thinks that Americans are mean to Muslims (which is B.S.) let them blow up one store in Tysons's Corner Center or the South Coast Plaza Mall and they will see how mean we can really get. maybe our border guards will be on extra alert.
all i know is i'm flying in july and not taking any chances. if i see any suspicious muslims i will do my duty as an american and patriot and report them. especially since i'm going to vegas. why would any muslim go there...they dont drink don't gamble and dont like scantily clad women. obviously a group of muslims getting on a plane to vegas would be suspicious.
god forbid another 9/11 happens here. i hope then we realize that we cant depend on the government and take matters into our own hands.

Isabellathecrusader makes some very good points. Americans do have it easy and usually want things done and over with NOW. We have decent lives and that's all we care about. BUT when pushed hard enough ... watch out. Look at 9/11 .. we want to kicked somebody ass for that. You could have told us it was England and we would have been ready to invade them. I think that is the problem with Iraq right now. Most Americans really don't care... They take no time to learn...only what the major news tell us and that's it. Something has to happen to most...before they really feel threatened. When it's obvious that things we take for granted are threatened....then the ship will hit the fan. Just like these "backlashes" the Muslims keep worring about. Trust me....it will be to late when they do start to happen.
